A bit pricey, but it’s the most comfortable one I tried so far. I was able to keep it on all day. No digging into my size. No rolling up my stomach. Definitely want another one, but I need to wait for sale.

It says Perfectly Curvy and that is what it is. This Shaping Vest is serious about creating curves. It is firm and solid. Exactly what I wanted from it. I now have a figure. My dresses look smooth and GOOD. I can wear it for several hours comfortably. Everything, including my pantyhose and slip shorts stays in place, no bumps or rolls or slipping, for a smooth, shapely figure. Not recommended for use if I plan to work up a sweat while dancing or wear it in a warm climate because it breathes slowly.

I've never worn shapers before, so I had to start from scratch. My Doctor advised me to wear them daily due to some hernia issues. I also have chronic back pain so he recommended I get one that helps with back pain as well. It took four different brands and a mini fortune but I finally tried the shaping vest. It does take inches off your waist(which I also needed) and I look a lot better in my clothes. It doesn't make my back hurt like others did. The material is awesome, it doesn't stretch out like other shapers. The only issue I have is I'm long waisted so I've got to adjust the straps down so my lower stomach is covered, which in turn exposes a roll under my breast. They do give the exact measurements on their site so I can't complain. I will be ordering again!

I have been wearing this particular waist trainer shape wear for 2 years to help me with weight loss and it helps.Im a living witness, when I started I was 212 and now 178. My goal is to lose 20 more lbs in 6 months. Love this product but the only thing is I thought the fabric was suppose to been 100% cotton and 100% rubber, this one was 25% cotton and 75% rubber but oh well I will see the results in 6 months. Thanks squeem!

This is the same quality Squeem I purchased long ago. This item is for very firm shaping. I use this mainly for back control during my morning 6 mile power walks. It really helps support my back & looking a bit trimmer is a bonus. I suggest ordering by your waist size only.

Deciding the size was difficult, but the Medium turned out to be a perfect fit for my size 7 frame. I would not recommend for summer wear. It has a rubber outside with cotton linings and 5 supporting "bones" around the garment to keep you standing tall and skinny. I would not recommend to petite women. This is definitely for tall girls. This garment may leave some marks under your arms, but my solution was padded bras with large back bands.

Excellent shaper, I have a small issue with lower back pain and wanted a more hourglass figure. This helps with both issues. Excellent quality and great fit. I have a short waist... so the back does tend to bunch up slightly, but it is not a huge issue. It has also improved my posture. Bonus!

I like this one because it's easy to wear, however, it is too hot for the summertime. I'll have to see if it does more than support my lower back. As I said in the other review, the sizing instructions are right on point. Follow them to a tee, otherwise you will be disappointed.

At first you may feel like you can't leave it on, but after a little while you start to get used to it. It's very feminine and looks amazing under a fitted top or dress. After purchasing the black I immediately ordered the beige. In just a few days I feel it working. I HIGHLY recommend this garment! I forgot to add if you're alone trying to connect all the hooks, start from the bottom and go up, much easier. I wear an 8 on top and 6 pants, the small fit perfectly. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!

This garment is no joke. When I first put it on I undid all the hooks, put it on and attempted to pull the sides in to close it and straight-up didn't have the upper body strength to pull them in. It is SERIOUS fabric. I ended up closing up the hooks and pulling it over my head, which was hard and a little scary as I pulled it over my boobs. Ultimately, though, it was worth it. I'm wearing it under my wedding dress and it pulled my mid-drift in a good 3-4 inches.
The one missing star is because of the fear of suffocating while trying to put it on the wrong way. You might need assistance. Just pretend you're Scarlette O'Hara and hire someone to yank it on and close you in.

I wore the 26J waist cincher and did I sweat. That's because it's made of a type of rubber material which makes a person perspire. It's too early to indicate amount of inches of pounds lost, but I believe there will be some. IMPORTANT: ORDER ACCORDING TO SIZE CHART -- NOT DRESS OR PANTS SIZE,

I was a little apprehensive about spending the money on this waist cincher. Having never used one before, and was unsure what to expect, but WOW, I love this thing! I've really only used shapers like Spanx before, but felt like I needed something to flatten the middle of my stomach more. After doing some research I decided to try the Sqeem out. I normally wear 22/24(about 275 lbs., 5'4" and apple shaped), so I followed the size chart and got the 5XL. I also planned to use it everyday, so I opted for the nude color. As soon as I put the Squeem on, there was a big difference in the way my clothes fit! It brought my middle in and gave me more of an hourglass shape. It also helped to lift my chest. I've been wearing it for about 2 weeks, M-F, about 10 hours a day. I can already notice a difference when I take this off. My stomach is flatter and my sides are a bit more defined. Week one, I wore it on the loose set of hooks and week two, I am wearing it on the tighter set. I recommend wearing some type of tank top underneath to protect your skin from the rubber. I would recommend this to anyone looking for more control or anyone looking for a waist cincher for workouts, as this product is perfect!

Squeem, firstly, is amazing. It fits pretty well and absolutely helps with back pain. Unfortunately, as I have a very long torso, it doesn't fit all the way down my abdomen, and as a result, it rolls up and, because I wear skirts very often, pulls my skirt higher with it!

The first corset I ordered was too small. That was my fault with the sizing chart. Small is perfect. As recommended, I wore it 3 hours the first day, 4 hours the second day and 12 hours of work the third day. My arms hurt, but I didn't even think about my back or neck, which usually are in agony after a long day of taking down court proceedings. Thank you Squeem. No pains tonight, either. I will probably order another.

I totally love my squeem, I wear it every day it has helped me have better posture and I am actually seeing results in a firmer belly and i'm getting a waistline, I used to go straight down but now am actually getting more curvier. I started with the first set of hooks now I am using it on the inside ones. I know i'll be ordering my next one as a medium. I highly recommend this product to anyone out there that wants to tighten stomach muscles and lose inches and I've actually lost a few pounds on the way. I love love love it

Hands down it's given me an hourglass figure I am 5'2 275+ lbs and NOWHERE was I able to find a support shaper that works dose not roll hides my back fat and 2muffin tops my husband likes it too it does not pinch either.. I didn't give it 5 stars because I thought it would hide my bottom pouch too and it doesn't but it doesn't push it down further the shaper rarely moves I mean I don't know what else to say besides don't stress on the price it's worth every dollar I now need to find a bottom shaper and I'm good,

After reading all the comments to get a better understanding as to the size I should order, I decided to order both a large and a medium to make sure it fit. I tried on the large first and it was a little difficult to hook, especially around the waist. There were lots of wrinkles around the waist in the back. I then tried on the medium and it was quite difficult to hook but I managed to get it on. Again, there was some wrinkling in the waist area in the back, but not as much as with the large size. I did read that it might help to wear a camisole underneath the garment, but I haven't tried that yet. It's hot in Florida, and adding an extra layer doesn't sound enticing. I did shrink about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in the waist and hips with both garments on.

I just got it and put it on. It was a struggle to close on the first row of fasteners. However, it doesn't feel as tight as it should. Completely new to this waist cinched business, so I'm only giving it 3 stars for now. Not because I don't like it, but because it's so new to me. It definitely made my waste and my big apple belly look smaller. I'm going to keep this size and work on getting it to close on the second (smaller) row of fasteners. I have a bit of arthritis in my fingers so the closures were hard to manipulate. I will say that HerRoom.com has great customer service as always and responds when you have questions

This is an excellently constructed piece of shape-wear, especially for the price. It does run on the small side. I am 5 3' and roughly 120 lbs. I originally ordered a P but had to exchange for the S. I don't have a lot of extra weight hanging on me, but since having my children I don't have that flattering nip in my midsection anymore. I definitely look more straight up and down nowadays. This is why I decided to invest in a cincher.
This take some getting used to as it is firm control, but it is worth it.

I have had it for a few months and have tried to wear it daily. This garment is a wonder, but I am still disappointed. Several of the design features prevent me from being able to wear this piece every day, unfortunately. I am 5'8" but I am high wasted and I have a shot torso. As a result, this garment bunches in the small of my back, rolls at the hips, and does very little to help shape my upper back and lower belly. These are two of the main reasons why I chose the strapped high back version. Also, the straps are so rough they cut into and chafe the skin near my underarms. I hope anyone else who is high or short wasted will read this and save themselves the unfortunate experience I have had. I do have to say that I am very impressed with Squeem and their garment quality. This is an amazing piece of work. The rubbery smell goes away! It is a very firm control piece and will really slim you down and shape you nicely, but parts of it do not fall properly on me. I bought this piece because it was so long line. I wanted back bulge support and lots of lower belly slimming. I got neither.
Squeem Response: There are a couple of things you can do;
1st- Is to wear a tank top underneath the garment. This will allow the product to stay in place and bunch less as a result of your high waist. It will also assist with the irritation in your underarms, which is uncommon, but can happen with people with soft skin.
2nd - We suggest her to tuck the product under your pants, this will prevent it from rolling at your hips. Also, remember that the upper part of the vest, should be under your breasts.

I ordered a size smaller than the chart and I still feel like the garment is to large. I should have got a 3x.I love how my clothes fit in it but it makes me really hot even when its cool outside. I can't imagine wearing it in the summer, but I'm in seattle, we don't get much of a summer. Also the rubbery smell is a little annoying but overall I like the hold and comfort. The length is awesome as well. Wish it was thinner but then again it may not hold as well.

I bought this vest and the cincher. I will be returning the cincher, but I'm keeping this vest. This product isn't designed for someone like me (6'2") because it barely reaches my waist. However, it doesn't roll and it's perfect for my curvy figure. I don't have to worry about my butt popping out because it doesn't reach my waist. It isn't meant for someone who is anywhere near my height -- but it'll do.

Hard to close up but worth it. I can wear clothes a size smaller when I wear it. Go with your waist size, had to rerun the large for a medium. Stays put and doesn't ride or roll up. The straps cut into my armpits, I have this problem with all wear your own bra shape wear. If you aren't use to wearing shape wear, you will find this uncomfortable. If you are use to shapewear, it is surprisingly comfortable for such a high level of support.

I thought I'd try Squeem's vest -- which is essentially the 26c waist-cincher plus shoulder straps. The 26j fits perfectly around the waist, and is well-constructed. However, I found the shoulder-straps did not add any useful function. In fact, they interfered with my bra, and tended not to fit snugly against my back. Consequently I returned the 26j vest and bought 2 more Squeem 26c waist-cinchers. They are great!
Vendor Response: You did the correct thing. Not every person is going to be able to wear any garment they want. Bodies are different and most are designed for the average body.

Love this so much--I bought it to wear with a formal dress, but now wear it even with Jeans. I was conservative and purchased a size bigger than I probably needed, but it still provides great support.

I like to review items after using them for at least 30 days. Although I'm accustomed to wearing compression wear, you would have laughed to see me tangle with getting this on the very first time! My first thought..."I should have ordered a larger size"..BUT it turns out I ordered correctly. Instead of ordering according to my clothing size (4) I went by the size chart noting waist sizes. I believe this is the correct way to order the proper size for this item. This item is NOT for short waist people or people needing a real 'petite' sized garment as it will be too long for them.
Within one week I was already using the second row of eyes & have been at this snugger fit ever since. The garment will stretch a bit after first wear as ALL compression wear has to do. It actually fits me better this way so if anyone feels a chaffing at the arm where the straps begin in the front you might want to try using the second set of eyes to hook onto.
This product does what it says it will do when using it as instructed. Not only does my waist measure 2 inches less while wearing, but I can now wear jeans that were too snug in the waist area without wearing this vest at all. Wearing jeans that have some stretch (elastic at 2%) is a challenge due to the rubber in the vest & the elastic in the jean material however persistence can prevail. You will also see evidence of the outline of hooks if wearing a very form fitting or clinging top.
I have a nickel allergy & choose to wear a camisole underneath the vest which works very well for me in avoiding an outbreak problem but the unexpected bonus is that I do not have to wear any bra this way! I am a "C" & at my age, the girls are quite saggy. My camisoles do NOT have an underwire. Due to wearing a camisole however, the vest tends to ride up a bit after sitting but a small tug downward at bottom of vest fixes that so this does not create a big issue for me. This also gives back support & support to the full abdominal area. I can see where this could be useful for people needing support there both prior & post surgery.
All in all I am very pleased with the Squeem vest. It is well constructed, hand washes well & appears to be useful "long term". NEVER put clothing with any elastic in it in the dryer! I just received the second one so I can rotate the two. It will be interesting to see if I go down a size in this vest after I lose 5lbs. or more.
I am also happy with HerRoom & the manner they handle sales, delivery & the courtesy emails giving the purchasing experience a more 'personal' touch.

I love it. I wear it every day to work. It was a little uncomfortable at first. After a couple of days of wearing it I forgot that I had it on. People at work continue to compliment me and tell me that I'm losing weight. Which is the comment we are looking for!!!!!

Love my new Squeem, Since it's made of something akin to neoprene, it holds me in wonderfully. The only reason I didn't give it a five is because the high back can't be worn with a low back, but I look great in T shirts and button downs.

The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it rolls up when I sit down, and I have to find a private place every time I get up to fix myself, especially when worn under a dress. I did not experience what others were saying about the smell however, it washed out just fine.

I LUUUUUUUV this garment!!!!! It is of superior quality and is doing exactly what it says it will do. I've had it about two weeks now. Whoever designed it knew what they were doing. Good job! It is smartly designed and even my boyfriend respects it. I love it! It is, in fact, reshaping my body and makes me look good in the meantime. Ladies, this is a woman's best kept secret! JUST ORDER IT. And thank you, HerRoom, for getting it to me so fast and so sweetly packaged. I've been through A LOT of other body shaper products, but this one is really delivering the results without me doing anything but wearing it. How cool is that?!
Regarding other comments, I don't smell any rubber at all, and the strap chafing I got was because of my bra not the garment. So what I'm doing today is wearing one of my other light-duty-shaper-camisole things under it, without a traditional bra. Looks and feels great, but if I don't sweat I won't reshape as fast, so we'll just wait and see. Maybe try a sports bra.
Love this thing.

This garment reminded me of the rubber girdles of the 1950's. The inside of the garment is like an unlined neoprene wet suit. It certainly is VERY effective at reducing the size of your waistline - but I didn't feel it was worth it to sweat under it. If it could have some sort of lining, I would give it another try.
HerRoom Response: We appreciate your feedback. There actually is a cotton lining inside this garment.

I really like this shaper. This was my first one by Squeem. I initially tried another brand and didn't feel like they did much to hold me in. I have been wearing this for a couple days now, and it feels really comfortable and I definitely look like I have a smaller waistline! I like that it comes up higher in the back so there is no back fat, and that I can wear my own bra with it. It's nice that it has two sets of hooks and eyes so you can adjust it. I feel like my posture is improved when I wear this, and I don't get pain in my back when I've been sitting at a computer all day.

I bought this for both back support and for smoothing my waistline as I'm carrying 25 extra post-partum/breastfeeding pounds. Bought the high back so there wouldn't be a line of demarcation. I really like it. I have been wearing it on a daily basis and it offers a lot of posture support. It doesn't create a waistline as it is a compression garment, rather it smooths things out so there are no obvious lumps and bumps.
My only two complaints are that it reeks of rubber - nothing gets it out - and that the straps chafe the skin just to the underarm side of my bra straps. Next time, I will get the long line rather than the high back.

Wow!! This thing is amazing! I got it for a specific outfit, but I've been wearing it on a regular basis. I do notice a difference in the size of my stomach already. This waist cincher is the best slimming garment I've ever used. No complaints at all.

it held me in wonderfully....but it bulged in the back. I don't think this garent was made for shortwaisted people. This is more suited to someone with a long torso.
HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. A petite person always has a challenge with shapewear fitting properly.
Squeem Response: Our garments are designed for an average biotype.
It is quite challenging to fit all our customers in a perfect way.
The ideal would have a “petite” and a “tall” line, and this is our goal for the future.

I really appreciate the miracle this garment worked. It really took me down 2 dress sizes!!!
My only problem was the rubber smell of the garment. I kept soaking it in Woolite and other detergents and that didnt help. I had to soak it for 2 days in lemon juice and water and rub perfumed oil all over it just so I wouldnt smell like a tire!!!!
The fit was wonderful, it smoothed my stomach and side love handles and gave a great lift to my breast and enhanced my cleavage. I just had a really hard time getting rid of the smell. Thats why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. Thanks!!!

I am so happy with this find. I have started to wear shapers for about a year now, but never found one that I was exactly pleased with. I am 15 pounds over my normal weight and with this shaper I feel great. my tees look good with this shaper I feel great and even if I lose my 15 lbs I will continue to use this shaper for life. Highly recommended. My wgt is 140 lbs and I purchased Med.

I loved this garment. It gave me a waist and enhanced my cleavage! I did notice that it made me eat less and gave me good posture. It doesn't roll up nor fold even though I have a shorter waist. Loved it so much, I convinced my mom to buy one. Great garment to try.

I first tried a size L on these, but that didn't do much for me, and I traded it for an M. I did appreciate how much it sucked me in (more from side-to-side than front to back), but unfortunately it wasn' ta good choice for me. I'm short-waisted and as a result this garment puckers at the back of my waist creating both an unsightly bump and more pinching than it otherwise would.
As a result I never wear it.

Love the design and the fact that it stays put unlike other designs that roll down with wear. Has great support and doesn't seem to stretch out of shape. I thought it would come up higher under the arms but overall am very pleased. I felt it fit true to size. I was going to go down a size when ordering because I was right on the cusp but was very pleased I stuck w/the larger size.
