Did not like the fit at all.
I have a narrow frame but big cups... this bra looks like it has gathered all the content and stuffed it in a pillow.
Returning.

Does not fit to size. Fits very small. Fabric is not a sports bra type of fabric- not stretchy or sweat wicking. More of a regular bra
HerRoom Response: This is a high-impact sports bra so needs to fit firmly without stretching to preven breast bounce.

Holds firmly in place, does not shape or uplift. Minimizes, no underbar pressing on my rib cage, no uncontrolled bouncing during cardio worko
Shoulder straps are not too thin which is important in supporting heavy weight DD & doesn't hurt shoulders.

I play soccer and this bra was uncomfortable and not as supportive as I thought it would be. The cups are made of a thin material that was not as controlling as needed. The back closure is scratchy and the shoulder straps are too thin.

I'm a 34I bought 36DD and exchanged to 38F to hit a home run in this bra. I like this bra since it has no underwire and built from fabric alone. Costly to exchange bras but happy I did it was worth the great fit I now have. It's my go-to sports bra!

I like this bra because I don't spill over on top which was my goal in purchasing it. However, I had to pay for a replacement of a larger band size because it runs SO small. Ideally, they should change their size to match the CORRECT/actual size
HerRoom Response: This is a high impact bra so will have a firm fit. Also noted is our Tomima Tip suggesting the band is very snug and moving up a band size should be considered.

It was difficult to get a good fit on this one. I first got it in a 32 band with F cup and as noted in the advice here, the band was definitely too tight. I also tried a band size up, cup size down as recommended and then it was too loose. I've since been wearing the original 32F for running and the support is great, just a bit tight

I have bought this bra several times. It works great for me! I like to order one size larger in the band (36 instead of my usual 34) to make it a more comfortable everyday bra. For a workout I would get my regular band size. I like that there are no underwires and the band is secure so as not to allow any underspillage.

This is the most comfortable, supportive sports bra I have found so far! I went with suggestions to increase the band size as I normally wear a 36 band. I think a 36 would have been fine as I wear the 38 on the smallest hooks and have a little wiggle room still. This bra is sturdy material without give which is essential for holding large breasts in place when doing physical activity. The only down side is I cannot get into the bra on my own with the back clasps. If there was a front zipper this would be perfect. The bra is super comfortable without a wire and still has very nice lift and separation. No uniboob! The high front coverage prevents spillage and minimizes bounce. I love this bra and for once don't worry at all if I have to take off running while wearing it. I will definitely be buying again.

I run 5-6 days a week and am always looking for a great high-impact sports bra. This doesn't do it. Although it holds me in tightly, it has a half lining inside that chaffed the bottom of my breasts so badly that they were bleeding. It took several days to heal. I think the bra would be fine for low-impact workouts such as the stationary bike or elliptical.

I love this sports bra. I play Ultimate Frisbee (lots of running, changing direction, jumping) and run (marathon distance) and it keeps girls nice and close and not jumping independently. It's definitely tight, but not uncomfortable, I wear the bra all day to work etc, it looks good under T shirts, not too smushed and I don't have to worry about knocking myself out when I start jogging to make a green light. love it.

Great bra, but back runs small. I am normally a 36 DD and had to buy a 38 DD for this bra (I have to use extensions for an earlier 36 DD order). Even with one size up, the fit is more snug than I would like, especially in the back. Fantastic support, but non-standard sizing.

I have been wearing Shock Absorber No Bounce bras for years and feel absolutely comfortable and secure with them. I've never had this bra size, however, and came down from size G. I had never seen a size FF before, and I should have investigated further as it was more like a binder than a bra. I will continue to wear that brand however. It is so comfortable.

This is extremely supportive which is wonderful for anyone that is large busted. The only thing I would make note of is that it definitely runs small, both band and cup. Big nope on this one. I have an older Shock Absorber in 30G that fits, but is wearing out. This new version was WAY too small in both the band and cup. Couldn't even get it closed.
HerRoom Response:
I'm sorry this bra did not work for you. Sports bras will give and stretch over time as you wear & work out in them. Your old size 30G sports bra may fit, but that may not mean you need a 30G in a brand new sports bra. Take a look at our Bra Fitting Advice Page to make sure you are in the right size.

Followed the suggestion of sizing up on the band and the fit was just tight enough to hold everything in place while working out. I would give this a higher rating, but the elastic around the edges of the cups are very rough and caused serious chafing whenever I moved my arms, which is a real problem in a sports bra.

Just a heads up, thin material on this bra. Added to the thin material, the seam runs directly through the cups. Who does that?! I have seams over my nipples that completely irritate me. It does separate which I do like, but not enough to keep wearing it. I would like a bra with heavier material and NO seams in the cups!!
Shock Absorber Response:
For more modesty, we recommend our Multi Sports Max Support Sports Bra S4490. The seams and construction are meant to give structure to the bra without needing a wire. There is a seamless inner lining in between the two materials to prevent rubbing or irritation.

I inquired if this bra fit the same as another brand of sports bras I know and I was given this size. It was so tight and the cup size was terribly small. I am disappointed that is doesn't fit. EXTREMELY small.

Depending on the level of support needed, Shock Absorber Sports Bras can fit more snug. We suggest going up a cup size to capture all the breast tissue

I have been searching high and low for a sports bra that allows me to breath during exercise, won't bruise me and dosent squish my girls. This is that bra!!! I cannot recommend this bra enough! I'm a 30 E and sometimes a 30 DDD so when sports bras are sold S/M/L it's so frustrating, so I recommend this bra if you are small around the ribs but have some volume going on. This bra will make you feel like wonder women I'm not even kidding, so much support and it doesn't give you uní-boob.

When I first ordered this bra in a D3, it just didn't fit right. However, when I finally got it in the correct size, it does the job I needed it to do! There may be a better sports bra out there for me somewhere, but so far this is THE BEST ONE that I have tried. Other than the feeling of pulling on my neck, which they have all done so far, I'm really satisfied with my purchase!

For this bra, the difference between 32DD (my usual size) and 34D is vast. I couldn't even hook 32DD, but the tightest hook on 34D is still too loose. Another design issue is the way that the sides fan out from the band. The girls are not compressed enough, sadly.
Shock Absorber Response:
Shock Absorber Sports Bras are meant to separate and encapsulate instead of compress. You may consider going down one more cup size to a 34C.

This sports bra is amazing for large breasted women. I am a horse woman, this bra stops the bounce! Another plus is that it minimizes the girls. I look two cup sizes smaller, which makes me look thinner! Always a great thing. This bra does run very small around the rib cage,. I just ordered another one a size larger and cup smaller, because of this. I advise everyone does the same, otherwise this bra is going to be very tight.

These bras work great for high impact exercise, no movement of the chest. The only compliant I would have is that I had a bit of a harder time taking in deep breaths and that it squishes you flat so excess boob comes up over the top. I love this sports bra - I have always been full busted and this bra gives super support when exercising. The band size on this bra runs very small. I normally wear a 32 or 34 band at the most, but when you get the right fit it's by far the best sports bra for full busts out there.

Much easier to put on than other high impact bras. Also very comfortable. Not much separation however. I will probably buy a couple more of these. I would like to wear them all the time, even when sleeping. Works well stopping bounce while exercising.

Best sports bra to date. I am overly endowed and able to run in this sports bra with minimal movement. Absolutely helps with confidence. Comfortable considering 12lbs of endowment locked beneath the bra. Not much else has worked for me regarding sports bras. Smashes a bit, but that's the point. Definitely a solid purchase.

This bra offers amazing support. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that, as other reviewers have posted, the band is very tight. I put it around my waist and fasten it and pull it up. The girls are definitely held in place.

Really great for working out or extreme activities! Almost no bounce! But VERY TIGHT! I can't wear this all day (only a few hours) because it's so tight I almost have trouble breathing. Flip side though: i can do active things without my boobs getting in the way or wreaking havoc on my back.

This bra is serious business. It locks my boobs down so there's almost zero bounce—and absolutely no related pain. The band is snug and supportive, there's no stretch mesh anywhere, and the straps are comfy. It's not pretty, and I do get some uniboob, but who cares? I'm too sweaty and focused during workouts to care about my chest looking fabulous. This is my favorite sports bra of all.

I wear a 32J in US sizing (D7), but when I got this bra, I got a 32G (D6). It is really really tight, and it is hard to put on. The bra is so tight that I don't think I would want to wear it for more than a couple of hours. Some of the hooks on the band are pulling (after about 3 months of being used 3-5 times per week) and I'm a little worried about one of them pulling out. (I am certain that it's the correct band size though.) With that said, this bra is AMAZING. It makes me look several cup sizes smaller, and for both dancing and running I feel contained for the first time ever! I don't bounce!! Even my dance teacher noticed the first time I came in with this new bra! I didn't know it was possible for someone in my cup size to be that contained, but it is!!!! I also heartily appreciate that even with all that compression, I still have the shape of two breasts: no uniboob with this one!!

This is the best Sports Bra I have tried so far and I have tried a lot from Freya and Panache. This gets me through Zumba and my HIIT workouts without a bounce or an embarrassing dislodgement during a class. This bra is a very tight fit especially in the band which helps keep things in place, but if I was to wear this for yoga or more gentle workouts I would consider, and plan to, purchase another with a larger band size for that purpose.
The only issue I have had with this bra is that some of the stitching was loose when I received it in the mail and came apart on the back band elastic completely after the first hand wash. I didn't return it because I was desperate for a bra and it was easy to fix, but it is always a little disappointing to purchase something new and have to repair it.
The bra washes very well and air dries quickly. I will continue purchasing this bra.

I thought the bra was well made. The shoulder straps were soft and strong . They did not dig in and minimized bounce. I have returned them (with no problem) and ordered another brand.

I would say for women who have larger breast and even pendulous, this bra is very supportive for all kinds of activity from running to jumping to low impact aerobics to walking. I never have to worry about "boob slap" if I'm running or jumping because of the encapsulation that this bra offers. Love it! I bought this sports bra a few years ago in black, and wore it out. It does a GREAT job of keeping my ladies in place while I jump around, and made it possible for me to do plyo workouts without the pain of movement from my chest. I gave it four stars because the clasps on the back are starting to bend, and I have to hook them in the front, then turn the bra around in order for it to work properly. Even after I bought a different brand: Panache Sports 5021, I ended up coming back to this one because it does a much better job of ridding of 'bounce'!

Runs small, both in the band and the cup. It does the job, no bounce, but I thought it was too uncomfortable to wear and returned it.
Shock Absorber Response: This bra is composed of woven non stretchy fabric so it will support the breast and reduce movement and bounce. Suggestion is to size up on this style.
Try B4490, this style offers stretchy compression fabric on the outside and woven non stretchy fabric on the inside of the bra for support and bounce reduction.

I am a distance runner as well as a breastfeeding mom. This bra did the trick and I tried virtually all the high impact options. I ordered the bra in a cup size too small since I wanted extra tightness and room for my breasts to shrink a bit as my LO needs less milk. At the end of the day, the support provided and the reduction in bounce was enough to make me happy and I am a hard customer.

I bought my regular size, 34G, and the only way I can get it on is by fastening it in front and then doing a mad wriggling to move it to the correct place. Once it's on it's fine. It's not comfortable, but it's supportive. I don't think it should be this difficult to get into. It looks smaller in the band than any other sports bra that I own.
Shock Absorber Response: It sounds like you may need to size up to a 36 in the band if it's to difficult and tight to put on. The bra should be comfortable and supportive, not too tight where it is uncomfortable.

Overall a great bra. My only complaint is the material that lines the cup created several chaffe marks on my chest after running. No amount of body glide helped prevent it. Just a problem with the edge of the material rubbing during excercise. I have to wear another bra underneath to prevent rubbing. Just a consequence of having large breasts not really an issue with the bra.

Almost perfect! The band is tight, but supportive and not constrictive. My breasts do not move when I'm engaged in high impact workouts, and I'm not sore when I'm finished. My only complaint is that the seams are rough and chafe a little, so I have to be generous with the Body Glide before I work out. It would be great if this bra came in some other colors, too. But those complaints are minor and in fact, I just ordered a second one.

I have to say I have shopped and shopped for a sports bra that is not only comfortable but also keeps everything in place. My bras have always given me the "uni boob" look. Not only embarrassing, but very uncomfortable. This bra offers amazing support. No more "uni boob"!!! No more uncomfortable bouncing!! The cups on this bra were a little big--there's just a little extra room on the sides. That's a first for me with sports bras, which usually run way too small. However, in spite of that, the bra still provides excellent support. I use it for running. Some of the straps and edges chafe a little, but not excessively; I use Bodyglide pretty much everywhere when I run anyway. I've also had a lot of trouble unlatching the bra in the back to take it off. It's not a big deal, but it's weird because I've never had that problem before.

This is the first G-cup sports bra that I have ever owned that has NO bounce. I do get some red marks from the band around the sides of my body, but the straps are comfortable.

Excellent bra....for the first time, I feel I can exercise without being self-conscious....I felt very secure wearing this bra....I'm a big girl 40DD and they supported me throughout my ZUMBA class! I just wish I ordered more!

Great support with minimal bounce. I am full breasted and tend to be glad when the day is over and I can take off my bra. With this bra I feel comfortable and supported all day.

Ran very small. The 30 band felt like a 26 (if there was such a size) and it squashed my boobs flat. Maybe the cup size was too small but I don't feel a bigger size would have fit right either. it was very light material, I would be scared that the bra would fall apart, I think I would prefer i material that was a little more substantial. I think this would be a great supportive bra for average figure women as opposed to full figure.

I returned this bra. It did a good job of holding my boobs against my body, but it didn't do much at all for bounce. The material doesn't have any stretch to it either, so it felt like a regular no-underwire bra. I don't find those supportive enough for everyday wear, much less for sport.

Definitely has the support I wanted...the cup size runs a little bit smaller then most DD cups I've worn in other sports bras..but overall love the bra.

I'm pretty pleased with this bra. I think the fit is flattering (for a sports bra) and it's comfortable for running with good coverage (no cleavage) and wide, padded straps. My one issue is that the straps in the back are stretchy, which allows for a little more bounce than I'd like. I had the Shock Absorber Infinity bra before and loooooved. it. Thought I'd save a little money this time around, but I think I'll go back to the Infinity when this one is worn out.

I wear it to Zumba class. It works really well especially with all the bouncing around we do in Zumba. Best support ever!

I have been able to wear for full days without any rub marks or back aches. Very impressive as this one has only 3 hooks vs. the usual 4. I'm am very short bodied and often find bras will bind on my ribcage.

this has become my favorite bra the support for my moderate exercise is excellent . the straps are very comfortable and don't dig into my shoulders. finding a good support bra especially for working out as a large size woman was getting frustrating i was so glad to find HerRoom site and return/exchange is very simple and and timely.

I'd give it 5 stars, except the very scratchy straps rubbed off some skin during my first run. I hope it softens up after a few washings. I'm not interested in how a sports bra looks (attn mfgrs, some of us don't want "cleavage" when we exercise!) It has to perform while running and jumping. This one does. At my age and size, especially after having lost a few inches and some bodyfat, I have empty skin that I don't want to stretch any further. Finding the right amount of motion control is key. This one has compression and separation, and controls the bounce all over. I agree with previous posters, the band does roll, but it's not uncomfortable and it still holds. This has become my new favorite. I just ordered another one!

Love the support and still have shape too! Could be improved by putting a non-rolling band on the bottom and extending the padded shoulder straps a little down the back.

Love these bras. I bought two (black and white). They do everything they say they will and unlike others, I didn't find it THAT difficult to put the bra on.
I feel very supported and I will definitely buy these when I need more sports bras!

I bought this bra and the Enell. This one gives much better shape, but not quite as much support. Its easier to get on and off (which matters when you are racing from work to the gym) I would compare this one to the Lululemon "ta-ta tamer" in terms of control and comfort (with a slight edge to the Shock Absorber for control, and a slight edge to the ta-ta tamer for comfort). This one is also easier to wash and quicker to dry than the Enell. I think this one is becoming my "general workout" bra, with the Enell being saved for the really high impact boot camp classes.

With this bra I achieved the least amount of bounce and movement. It is tight so I had to order a size larger than normal. I participate in high impact activities such as running and kickboxing, which includes a lot of jumping jacks, high knees, etc. I think this bra will continue to perform as needed.

Full Coverage, supportive, minimal bounce. The band around the rib cage is slightly elastic and very thin. The band rolls rather than keeping its shape and providing support and it can be uncomfortable. The band also comes up high under the armpit and cuts into my armpit leaving a red mark. It is supportive a good for working out but not comfortable enough to wear all day due to the band issue around the rib cage and under the armpit.
