Updating a previous review: These are still pretty good. They felt a lot lighter, however upon wearing they are not bad. I will continue to purchase. I like that they are similar to a regular bra and have hooks in the back. Thanks

Shock Absorber designed a new sports bra that is pretty, not just functional. It has more shape and a lace like detail. I am so grateful!

Fits well and keeps the girls in place, I'm giving it a 4 however because it feels a little stiff
HerRoom Response: A washing or two with fabric softener should solve this issue.

My favorite bra and I have many. I changed, this time, from the 32C to 34C as it covered the breasts better. No spillage in a downward dog. Wearing the 32C for everyday as it gives support, comfort and lift. Great fit without wire.

This bra runs *really* small. I ordered my usual 34E, then exchanged for 36F and it was still way too small. Even the shoulder straps at their longest were painfully short - with a seam on top of my shoulder.
HerRoom Response: Sorry this bra did not work for you. Take a look at our Bra Fitting Advice Page to make sure you are in the right size.

It is just as difficult to find bra's in small sizes as larger. I am very pleased with this item.It is my third one purchased. For use in a yoga class it is ideal; easy to put on and take off with no extra straps and binders.

These are my second purchase of a Shock Absorber bra; I bought a black and a white. I was delighted to get them in my size as the first, 34C, was the only one available in the store where purchased. I wear it in Yoga class. It is easy to get into and out of. The cup is a perfect fit and holds everything in place, without a wire, no matter the position. Thank you HerRoom for having this item for me. I have tried other "Sports Bras" and found no support or comfort. HerRoom made it easy to keep track where my order was at every the moment.

In order for this bra to be supportive without wires, the fabric in the cups doesn't stretch. Because of this, the fit really needs to be perfect for the bra to work. The fit is pretty true to size. I ended up returning the bra as I don't think it offered enough support for my 30F size, but I could see how it would work well for smaller breasts and/or for low impact activities.

The Shock Absorber classic sports bra is extremely comfortable because it has no underwire and it fits perfectly. It offers about 3 1/2 high impact support. I wear them mountain bike riding, working out on weights, doing cross fit and hiking and they hold up really well (years) . I have not been paid for this review!

The 38D fit more lik a 34 B.
HerRoom Response:While Sports Bras do tend to run snug to give you the compression you need while exercising, It sounds like it may be time to be re-fitted. Please check out our Bra Fitting page to help you find a size that fits properly.

This is a great bra. It has the support and fit of seamed cups, easy on/off for a sports bra, and doesn't come up too high in front. The band is very snug, but I like this as it feels supportive. It's lightweight, and I appreciate the lack of underwire for comfort.

Shock Absorber Classic Sports Bras are perfect, I don't know how I'd live without them--I can teach dance classes, lecture classes, work all day etc and run/pop out to the gym when there's time, all in the same bra that also looks great under suits for conferences, etc. Brilliant!

I gave it three stars because although it wasn't for me it might be OK for someone else. This was the first bra I tried without an underwire and I didn't like it. I just didn't feel supported enough. Also, the fabric on the cups didn't really stretch to my shape so it felt too loose at the top. It almost bagged at bit. I couldn't adjust it enough to eliminate this. The bra fit everywhere you take a measurement from so I didn't think a different size would have mattered. Going back to wired bras.
Shock Absorber Response: This style is made of woven non-stretchy fabric so the cup needs to fit snug and smoothly to the breast to give support. Suggest trying a style with stretchy fabric to give compression as well as support. Perhaps try style B4490, which offers both encapsulation and compression.

Everything stays put and doesn't move. Straps stay up during activity. Hasn't stretched out with regular use.

Nicely made and gave good support, but uncomfortably smashed my bustline. I tried one cup larger, but that did not work. A little less compression and I would have kept this one.

Perfect fit, well made, lifts properly (yes, A cups require lift, as well) which causes a more youthful appearance...I might just wear this occasionally as an everyday bra. Comfort, comfort, comfort AND clothed looks fabulous!

It states on the website that the bra runs small and you should order a size larger. However, it doesn't state what part of the bra runs small (i.e. the cup size or the bra itself) and when I got it, the straps were so short that I would have needed probably 2-3 sizes larger.

I love this sports bra. However, I rated it a 2 because the band is over 2" shorter than other Shock Absorber bras that I have in 30 DD. I have to wear an extender with it to get it to fit.
