the sizing is way off. I am 38. I measured the bra band from end to end, it was 28 1/2 in.. very little stretch in the band, about 3 in, so that gives me a total of 31 1/2 band. when I order 38 I expect the actual band length to be a .minimum of 36
HerRoom Response: The measurement of a bra band is a bit meaningless because stretch has been factored in to the design. Looking at your order history, you purchased a 40 band size yet chose a 38 in this bra. Sports bras always have a firmer fit. If anything, you should have moved up a band from your 40 to a 42. Going down a band size would explain why you found this bra too small.

Nice construction. Lightweight but not cheap. Way easier to get on and off than a regular sports bra, but it runs small. Because of that it is a little tricky to engage the zipper and it does feel tight after several hours.

I found this bra frustrating to put on. Difficult to manipulate the hooks in the zipper. But it is probably more supportive than I need for my activities

The size was way too small, it was nowhere around 36DD.

I needed a sports bra with lots of support because I am a runner. I also really like the front zipper because at 66 it's easier to get it on and off. It's well made and supports well.

This bra fits fine and stays zipped. There are some threads on the bust that are actually sharp and scratch my skin. I also had to remove the tags as they were uncomfortable as well.
Overall, I like the bra.

This was not the right size for me, though it is in any other bra. I clearly need to try your bras on.
Shock Absorber Response:
Shock Absorber Sports Bras run tight in the band to give you the best support. We often recommend going up a band size and down a cup size. For example, a 36F would consider buying a 38E.

Size: 32E
I'm 5'4" 135ish lbs, and a 32E in most bras. This bra is a little tight at first wear which is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. After about 5 days of wear it conforms nicely and has great support. Since there is no under wire, you will get uni-boob and will almost appear flat chested....but your girls will be supported nicely!

This bra runs so small I could not get it zipped. I kept checking to make sure it was the right size I ordered. There are eye hooks to help hold it together while you zip it and I couldn't even get those hooked together. I did finally get the zipper to at least start to zip but it as soon as I let go it unzipped. I was so frustrated! The material is not comfortable either. It was kind of scratchy and also very thin so even if I had gotten it on, I doubt it would have had much support. I'm a full C so I ordered up a size too. I've never had this much trouble fastening a bra!
HerRoom Response:
I'm sorry this bra did not work for you. Take a look at our Bra Fitting Advice Page to make sure you are in the right size.

Love this sports bra. Well made and fits great. The material is lite and breathable which works well in hot weather or intense workouts.
