Batiste is the softest of lightweight, opaque, woven fabrics, and this lovely nightgown meets each of those expectations nicely. Made of 100% cotton.

Overlapping V neckline
Crossed front panels with eyelet and embroidered flowers.
Lace applique trim around sleeves, neckline and hem.
Ruching across front of gown.
Loose, comfortable fit.
Curved hemline
Perfect for warm weather.

I was happy to find a nightgown in this fabric. They are very hard to find. The lace on the neck is just a bit high for me. I can turn it under I think.
