I absolutely love this nightgown. The fabric is a good weight, not flimsy at all, it is exceptionally pretty and very comfortable. I think is runs true to size but if you are between sizes you may want to go a size lower because the silhouette of the gown is very forgiving. I have two black ones and I just purchased the blue. I was a little concerned about how short the gown would be but it comes lower on me than it does on the model pictured. The lace was another concern because I don't like lace that is scratchy but it's not a problem with this gown. I was wanting something that would hang on me without binding. The weight of the fabric is not too heavy that it pulls on my shoulders but is still thick enough to provide modesty. The gown is beautiful. However, the straps are very short, so the front of the gown comes up very high. It's strange to me because I'm only 5'4" - I can't imagine how it is for taller people. I won't return it because it would be a hassle to do so - but I probably won't wear it either. It's not a good look, and it's not comfortable when I'm laying down. It's very confining. The gown is very pretty, but the straps are very short so the front of the gown comes up very high. It's just slightly better than wearing a turtleneck! I'm not tall - just 5'4" - so I can't imagine how this is on taller women. Returning items is always a hassle so I won't return this but I probably won't wear it either.
