I love this shaper! It's smooth along the thighs & when worn with a slip (form fitting clothes) there are no indentations shown through your clothes. My only complaint is that the inseam could be a little wider & the length increased for those with longer/larger thighs. The last issue is that the measurements aren't always in "plus size" terms so when choosing assume the waist is more towards the lower range so if you're in between a size, opt for the larger size. After wearing my new Rago girdle for a while now, i HAVE noticed one slight drawback lol, when wearing jeans with my belt TIGHT, this girdle tens to let my jeans SLIDE DOWN (very smooth), so i have to keep an eye on that, and YES even MORE SO NOW, A L L MY CLOTHES DO GLIDE RITE OVER THIS GIRDLE AND I DO MEAN G L I D E , but other than that i really love it... I absolutely love this shapewear. It went on easy enough but still was firm enough to smooth everything out. This garment is well-made and comfortably slims my tummy and hips. I've ordered several of these in the past, and am satisfied with the quality and the pricing. The little cloth-covered metal supports broke through the last two garments, but this was well after I had gotten more than a reasonable amount of wear of of them. Worth the money, in my opinion. I just ordered this Rago 6226 girdle, I'm so excised, I'm writing this before I even receive it. I'm doing this, because, I have had such wonderful experiences with everyone of my Rago girdles, and this one, should be no exception. I just recently purchased and received my Rago 6795 and a 6228 to compliment my 6209 and 679 styles, that I have had for several years. The workmanship and quality is as good, and in most cases better, than most other brands, and I do have personal hands on (no pun intended) experience with many other brands and styles. I fell in LOVE with girdles when I was very young, and have been buying and wearing them ever since. I have always worn shapewear ( even when I was young and thinner) I just think it makes clothes look good. For years I wore Playtex 18 hr girdles but, they are no longer being made. I have been searching for a brand that I would be happy with and I have found it in Rago 6226. I worried about the stays but they are fine. As with all my fine lingerie I wash them by hand so they last a little longer. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to buy Rago 6226 and search no more. Thank you. I hate to give Rago a poor review because I love so many of their products but I recently received this model and half the stitching broke and pulled apart after wearing it for just 2 hours. It fit fine and wasn't even tight but I kept hearing the stitches pop, when I removed it it was all frayed across the waist band. Obviously I will be sending this back as it is defective.

Rago Response: Tensile strength of sewing thread can vary. The breaking point on the thread sounds like it is below specification . Rago uses a very high stretch thread treated for strength as well as stretch. Sounds like this was an inferior thread batch. Pam

These are true to size, and the waistband keeps them from rolling. They only slightly hold my tummy in. In this I was a bit disappointed, as the "Tulip" tummy shaping panel did not shape my tummy nearly as well as the 6206 Girdle does. Once again, Her Room sales and shipping are superb. I had a problem with finding my size, I normally wear a size 3x but in your sizes it confused me because with my first order I ordered my 3x in this garment and when I received it my daughter who wears a size 8 could wear this so I didn't have to send it back she wanted it. I then reviewed your size chart again and reordered the 6x in Black and White this was not the size I needed once again because I could have used one size up and this would have been good. I'm keeping these anyway because they do fit just a little snug but this is OK.
