I loved the sheer version of these panties so I decided to try the lace. They are the same cut, but the lace fabric is stiff and scratchy hence uncomfortable. I find them too tight on the legs as well. On the plus side, they do offer a good degree of tummy control, but beware love handles forming at the waist...

Based on your comments your expectation of this garment would better be satisfied by Rago Girdle 6226. It has soft firm control and a higher cut waist which will eliminate the love handles.
