Same as the sleeveless review I gave. Very soft and comfortable. I wear the long sleeve gowns in the winter to stay a little warmer. These cotton gown are not hot in the summer months either. Love, love, love this fabric. It is cotton, but feels like silk. I would have given it five stars if the sleeves had been a little longer, but I am tall, so they will probably be fine for most people. Washing is a breeze, and hang to dry, which only takes a short while. This is revolutionary fabric for a nightgown, as it keeps you warm without bulk, and is slippery beneath the sheets. Perfect! Finally, a plain, long sleeved cotton knit gown. Thick enough gauge cotton it'll last a good deal longer than those Eileen Fisher ones I've been buying. My only dislike is that the neckline scoops low in the back too, which is cold! And it doesn't feel right. It ought to be like a regular scoop T, with your back and neck totally covered. The nightgown is truly top notch quality, exactly as described, however once I washed it it shrunk significantly. Unfortunately to the point that I can no longer wear it. I would recommend ordering a size larger than you normally would wear.

These butterknit gowns are so silky-soft and comfortable that I've had to order several. Normally, I wear a medium, but in this brand a large seems to fit better--especially since I like a roomy garment. Plus, there may be some shrinkage. I would like to see some brighter colors though. Great sleeping gown for all but the coldest nights. 4 stars instead of 5 because the sleeves should be full length, not 3/4, AND they shrink even when washed in cold water and air dried. Seems like P-jamas is trying to shave costs of material by not making a cool weather long gown with long sleeves. I am constantly tugging on the sleeves all night to make them longer! I am petite. 5'1", 96#. i debated ordering the P Jamas Butterknit gown in a small as opposed to a X-small. i did the right thing. this gown is exceptional... what one would expect from P Jamas. I have 2 pairs of their City Flannel PJs. the gown is luxurious, simple and elegant all wrapped into one. the feel against your skin is soft and comfy. the weight of the fabric is almost nil.. imperceptible. the fit..... length hits me at mid calf, sleeves are just above the wrist, the bust and hips are excellent. i love the neckline, as it lends a certain simple elegance to the gown. herroom customer service?? what can i say? exemplary. thank you. i will be back. most sincerely, linda Linda from Tampa Bay

Would give this 5 stars if the price were a bit lower. At $102 it is expensive for what you get; however, a better value than the similar but much more expensive gowns from Hanro. It is very pretty, comfortable, and flattering. Was disappointed that it shrank so much on first cold water hand wash, as I loved the original ankle length. It is only mid-calf length after washing.
