... Oh. OH. So THIS is what it's like to have a bra that fits ...
I'm almost in love.
To risk sounding like a cliché, when I ordered this, I didn't think there was any possible way it would even come close to fitting. The idea of wearing a C cup was absurd. I've been wearing 32A bras (from department stores) for years and barely filling those out! So when I finally measured myself and got such a different result, I literally laughed out loud. But then I read a bunch of reviews and anecdotes online from people with similar stories, and I started to doubt. So I decided I'd order some different sizes, just to be sure.
Oh my God. I'm amazed. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I can't stop feeling myself up. I'm wearing a C cup! And it FITS! Almost perfectly, in fact!
And, even better, this bra is amazingly comfortable. I've tried bras before that had mesh on some sections, and they were stiff and scratchy and awful. Not this one. This was great. I didn't forget that I was wearing it, but that was because I was still so amazed that it fit that I couldn't focus on anything else.
I do prefer a little more padding. Of course, that could make the bra less comfortable, so it's a trade-off. I'm just cold-natured and paranoid about announcing my temperature to the world, so I prefer to wear bras that are a little thicker. But I knew this bra was only lightly padded when I purchased it, and I didn't expect anything else. I'm not disappointed at all, and I definitely foresee myself ordering more from OnGossamer.
My only complaint is that this doesn't come in a 28 band. That's the size I should be wearing, according to my measurements. This one feels perfect and feels like it's giving me plenty of support, but I'm wearing it on the tightest hooks and worry about it stretching out. The fabric is stretchy, so the question now is whether it'll retain its shape better (I tend to think this) or stretch out more easily. Either way, because of the stretchiness, I think the 28 would be just as comfortable but would be less risky in regards to stretching out.
Otherwise, this is perfection, and I can't wait to try more from OnGossamer!
