I discovered the concept of slenderizing tanks a few years and am a big fan. I've just reached the age where breathing is more important than a wasp waist, and I don't have the patience to struggle in and out of restrictive under garments every time I visit the ladies. All I want is something to make my silhouette a little smoother, which in turn means my clothes look better on. They look more the way the are supposed to. And when your clothes fit more properly so that you look better in them, you actually look slimmer, even if you still weigh the same.
These long tanks mean I can still wear my preferred bra, and my preferred panties; and they are long enough to smooth down over my hips, so my whole torso looks better under my clothes. And it's so much easier than getting a panty girdle up and down in the course of a day.
I have a few varieties, all without the odious shelf bra and in a variety of necklines to suit. All are Maidenform, and all have held up well. I do take care not to throw them in the dryer, that being bad for any kind of elastic fabric; but as they air dry pretty quickly I consider them to be pretty low maintenance.
HerRoom customer service was excellent as always, and my items arrived promptly and nicely packaged.

I normally wear a 1-2X but am bigger on the bottom and have trouble with camisoles rolling up, so I ordered this in a 4X to get around that issue. It worked! Good compression, but doesn't make me flat chested and comfortably smooths out the lumps and bumps so clothes better. Only complaint is the two-layer fabric; outer layer slides around on the inner one.

Firstly: I was very pleased re: the short transit time between ordering and receiving my items.
Secondly: I have a pretty short waist, so these camis are too long. I'm going to have to shorten them. Because of their length, they bunch up around my waist and become uncomfortable after just a few hours. I am rather large busted, so appreciate that they 'squish' me down, however, w/out a bra, I end up having a 'uniboob.' Not attractive. It is very doubtful that I will buy more of this item.

Very thin fabric . Not suitable for wearing without a bra. I need a tank top that I can wear with out a bra as a have a scar that is three quarter inch wide that runs from just under right breast to just into my back about three inches. I have purchased five different types of tank tops from HerRoom. Not one, has been successful. I need a tank top because of the nerve damage that makes pressure in the area very uncomfortable. Indeed some support for my breast but just some light shaping not a band. I was hoping that because you carried different brand names I would be successful but the ones I have chosen have not been workable. Perhaps you have some suggestions.

VERY soft fabric, lovely feel. It would be amazing under other clothing. I liked the neckline as well, a bit higher than most shaper cami's. The neck is stretchy enough to pull down for nursing. Score! I ordered this tank one size up, and that was too big. I recommend ordering true to the sizing chart. I don't know how the small would have fit me, as I was about to exchange the M for the S, when I saw the Self Expressions Instantly Skinny tank on sale for $13.50. It looked much the same as the Flexees, (same fabric was listed) so I ordered two of those in a small. Maybe I can update my review when I've received them. I'm 5'2" and 34D on top. I'd kind of hoped the tank might double as a bra, at least for around the house, but it doesn't for my size. There's no shelf bra in this cami.

I'm 4 months postpartum after my third child, and ordered three of the Flexees tanks to help smooth out my belly while I'm working to lose the baby weight. I've never used shapewear before so don't have much to compare these to, but I find them comfortable and they definitely smooth out my midsection (and the material is slick enough that my t-shirts don't cling to it). I like that the bust part of the camisole doesn't flatten out my breasts, and it's stretchy enough that I can easily pull it down to nurse.

I bought two of these because I wanted to be able to wear something daily to smooth me out. This garment is very comfortable. My jeans lay perfectly over my tummy -- so much so that I tucked my shirt in and I almost NEVER do this. Pay attention to the hip measurements more than the dress size for the best fit. I wanted to get an L but picked up the M by accident. Unbeknownst to me my hip size is in the M range not the L range and I have the perfect fit. I experienced no rolling or slipping at my hips, but it did slip down over my bra in the front and cut across my bust line creating a minor crease that I probably would not have noticed but I wore a clingy t-shirt today. Other than that minor hiccup I was completely pleased and will purchase more.

WARNING!!!!! Maidenform (maker of flexees) has changed this style!!! It is no longer designed as the picture on this website shows. If you loved the "old" 3266 you will hate the new version. In their infinite wisdom Maidenform has done away with the longer less stretchy hem in favor of a tight thick 1" band. If you have any bit of a hip this will roll up on you instantly. Good luck finding a replacement, I have not yet :(

Shapes you down nicely and doesn't flatten the bust too much. It does flatten a bit however, and it is a tad too high at the neckline (quite a bit higher than the picture; hence I give 4 stars rather than 5. But it is comfortable, and stays comfortable all day, plus it's easy to get on and off. And, again, it does shape nicely. So I'm getting another. I think I'll be wearing them a lot.

I was a little disappointed in this tank because I was hoping for something pretty enough to wear in a way that it could be seen - which was the reason why I ordered the "silver". The silver looks more like light gray, though, the metallic threads being very subtle. In addition, the edges of the smoother-liner can easily be seen under the outer layer.
I will keep it, though, as it will be effective as a slimming layer under clingy tops.

Not for women with larger chest. I prefer the yummie tummie brand as they have more of a cotton in the chest area with the slimming in the tummy area.
HerRoom Response: We no longer carry Yummie Tummie because we found customers did not like the look of 2 different fabrics between the top and the waist. Also, the waist control is only in the front rather than going completely around the body. We feel the design of this garment give better control.

Customer could need a larger size based on her comments. Garment has a sewn in liner just like Yummi Tummie.

I had to return both the black and the white tank tops due to the fact I was not even able to try them on. I couldn't get them over my head.....they are so tight. I had the same thing happen with a tank from Yummie Tummie also. (long sleeved tops of this nature work out fine....what is it with the styling of the tanks that makes them impossible to get into?) And I don't have a large head.
HerRoom Response: A common mistake is trying to put this garment on over your head. Instead, you should step into it and pull up.

I really love this product, since it slims you down under clothing that tends to cling, like anything with spandex in it. They're comfortable to wear, and don't seem to make you a lot hotter than the clothing itself does, so you can wear it all day without discomfort. I have a bulging midriff, and this takes care of the problem.

The torso section firm yet soft and breathable. top is comfortable with nice support; even as a DD (and having nursed 2 kids), I could go to the grocery store bra-less and not feel... well, you know. Wouldn't do that for work or the gym, but it's nice to at least have a sometimes option. Only drawback, some fabrics can cling to it (though I never did try antistatic spray).

I recently had abdominal surgery. After wearing an abdominal binder for four weeks, it was wonderful putting this camisole on. It has just the right moderate firmness around the abdomen making you feel secure, yet not too tight that you feel you can't breathe. I wear these cami's every day, all day at work, and I am constantly on the move. They don't ride up, they just become part of your body. Please, order these in your true size and step into and out of them. I just ordered more.

Bought this item based on the great reviews. I tried the Medium and the Large sizes and found both sizes ride up. If the garment stayed put, I would love this. Constantly pulling my shirt down is annoying.
HerRoom Response: When a garment like this rides up, it is usually a sign that you need to be in a larger size. However, this garment will ride up if you are moving around a lot. It's kind of a trade off - look smooth, but occasionally have to adjust.

I ordered two of these - one in black and one in white. They are snug fitting but really do smooth out your lumps under clothing. They are especially nice on cold winter days as they are long enough to stay tucked in all day. For winter they are perfect, for summer they would be too warm with the multiple spandex layers.

By far the best camisole I have ever worn. The mid-section support is fantastic and the top bra part doesn't flatten--it gives a very natural shape to your bust. A must have for anyone who is looking for this type of product and I've purchased many. I cannot wear a bra due to a broken collarbone which has left my right shoulder 1" shorter than the left and this camisole does the job for me superbly.

I just bought both the tank and the tee in black. These are SO incredibly comfortable for shapewear! Being a middle aged woman can unfortunately bring on the "muffin top".Anyone out there in a similar position knows what I'm talking about. These Flexees do away with that instantly and I can wear them till late at night with no discomfort. They are very soft as well and don't pull, pinch or annoy. Do yourself a favor and try one out. I bought two with the special offer to get a third FREE by mail. My sister just ordered two for herself after visiting me while I was wearing one. Makes a big difference in how you look AND feel.

Review from Hollywood stylist, Phillip Bloch "I've tried all the shapewear brands out there but my absolute favorite find this season is the Flexees Fat-free Dressing Colletion. It's the wardrobe must-have for fall. The collection is affordable and gives women a "fat-free" appearance in their clothes! The best part is the cami and tee can be worn as outerwear or can be used to create a layered look."

I am a classic apple shape, but not very large for my frame, even still I ordered a 2XL. It's very comfortable to start, and I love that the straps are adjustable, the shaping panel is long enough to run from under the busts to the hips, and does a good job of smoothing things out. There were some discrepancies in their descrlption, on the website it's listed as "moderate control" and on the product tag it's listed as "firm control". I would say this is light to moderate control, it's very comfortable, and I bought one in both black and white.
*Don't go down a size and think it will give you stronger control- this will just smush your boobs (and I'm a 38FF)*
HerRoom Response: We at HerRoom feel this garment gives moderate control. We also agree that you should purchase your true size and not go down a size to try and get more support. A smaller size will simply roll.

Love It! This is a wonderful cami. It is very comfortable and conforming. I still wear a bra with it but you can't tell. It could be used on it's own, but I use it as a bulge control undershirt or for layering. The control panel is just through the mid section, therefore it doesn't smash the boobs and the bottom hem looks like normal so it can be used for layering. I will buy more of these in the future for sure.

My new favorite shaper cami. I don't care for the 'uniboob' effect of Spanx, and you have to be a contortionist to get into Sassybax. Liked the Barely There camis but this Flexees is better because of the longer length and the neckline/material...you can choose to show it peeking through a deep v-neck because it really does look like a regular tank top.

This is the best shapewear garment I have purchased and I have many, many brands!!! I like the length so it won't curl up, the adjustable straps, the higher top coverage so it will show under the scoop neck tops that are in fashion now, the bust lift and the midriff shaping is comfortable and actually gives you firm control!! The price is reasonable so that you can have more than one or two. Absolutely the best!

I have purchased several control camisoles and like this one the best for two reasons --- it is longer so it doesn't roll up and the fabric on the bust doesn't make you look like you have a uniboob. The control part is better than most and you look more natural. I am buying more.
