I don't understand.... I bought this bra #0428, but it has boning about 1/2" from the cup underwire. It felt really good when I put it on, but after a few hours, the top of the boning was pressing in to me painfully. In the photos and descrlption I don't see any mention of the boning. Many women do not fit themselves properly. This is the best fitting bra I have had since I wore custom made. It is very comfortable, straps are easy to adjust, it is just an excellent bra. This is my 'go to' bra so I buy this each time I refresh my wardrobe. It has a great lifting and shaping fit. It's not lined, but the fabric is fine and the lace portion starts at the 'right' point to make up for no lining. Just be sure to hand wash it as instructed; otherwise, the fabric is definitely not made for machine wash. I lost one of mine when it was mistakenly thrown with the rest of clothes for machine wash. Love this bra. A while back I bought the same brand and size and it's great. The last one I bought, beautiful white, but although it said size 38 it was not. It was at least an inch shorter. I have a bad habit of throwing papers away as soon as I receive an online order so couldn't return it for the right size. The bra said size 38, but it was smaller. This bra is exceptionally comfortable with a minimalistic design that separates, minimizes, and rounds the breasts. The shape under clothing is natural and delicate, and might seem a little lower to people used to bras that push the bust up. The fit is very true to size. The only drawbacks are its cheaper fabric, which, although it doesn't lose much strength over time, the elastic does fray even after careful washing. Additionally, if you have stronger nipples this might be a problem with such soft and supple fabric. Overall, its a go to in my bra collection and is the bra I wear under t shirts and dresses alike. This bra is a minimizer, and the cups fit properly, but there are problems with the straps and the band. The straps need to be closer together in the back. They're too far apart, so if the bra straps are loose, they fall off my shoulders. If they're tight enough that my boobs are in the right place, the straps yank the back of the bra up over my shoulder blades. Since the band doesn't stay put, tightening the straps puts the underwires at the wrong angle, and the two wires poke out. Also, I can't reach high enough to get to the hooks.

Love these bras and what a relief to be able to order them on line without having to go to a department store to try them on for fit. The only fault I found is that they should be longer then the size you wear. You have to fasten to the first hooks and it would be nice to be able to use the second set for better comfort. I have been buying this bra from Lillyette for that past 10 years. JC Penney never had it in stock so I sought another vendor. Out of the 10 bras I have ordered over the past year from this site only 3 have worked out. There seems to be some problem with the manufacturer that Her Room will not take up. 7 out of 10 of these bras are either mis-labeled for size or they are manufactured incorrectly. For example. out of the last shipment of 5 bras I took a measurement of the chest band and the one that actually fit was an entire INCH longer than the ones that did not. I contacted Her Room about this but got the usual POLICY statement absolving Her Room of all liability for any manufacturing defects at their (Lillyette) vendor level. Her Room makes no effort to resolve the problem at their vendor level preferring instead to shift the repsonsibility to the customer (ME). If my car breaks and is new under warranty I don't contact Ford about it, I contact the dealer I purchased it from. If I purchase something at any other brick and mortar retailer and there is a problem with it I return it to them and they take it up with their vendor. That is the way it works . Now if you have been purchasing the exact same product for 10 years and you know what size you wear because your bod hasn't changed for the past 10 years one would assume that it is safe to remove the tags, throw them away run them throught the laundry and start wearing them right? Yeah, that's what I thought. But no! Because of the manufacturing defects as described above I now have 7 bras that do not fit and cannot return because they don't have the tags and I am told by Her Room that I must take it up with the manufacturer. This is exceedingly POOR customer service on the part of Her Room. CAVEAT EMPTOR - buyer beware. LORETTA (pending 12-30-2013) from USA

This label on this bra stated it minimized up to two inches. Sadly, I had to return it because it was too big. I did like the style but couldn't quite figure out why a 'minimizer' bra would be too big. I ordered a replacement for it.

Themodel 428 bra does not fit like the 417 model which is discontinued. The cup fabric is not as stable and the sides poke no matter where the strap length is. And speaking of strip length, why are the strap adjustments in the back versus the front? To me the back adjustment shows more with T-shirts than the front adjustment. It looks nice when you're just in your bra but as soon as you put a shirt on the seem between the smooth part and the lace clearly shows through. Maybe ok for heavily patterned shirts.

Very sadly, these two bras were definitely marked wrong. I have worn these for at least 10 or more years and loved them but the width along the base was at least 2 inches shorter than my other ones and the lace did not lie flat. I would have sent them back but am house prone due to 2 surgeries in the last 2 months.

I was very excited to finally be able to obtain as many bras in my size as I needed as one time. Usually I had to keep going back to the stores numerous times to finally get my size in this particular brand and model. I was, however, disappointed the first day I wore my new bra. The side support stay continuously dug into my side all day long. No matter what adjustment I made to the straps. The next day I tried another one of my new bras (same brand/model). It did the same thing. In desperation, I finally cut out the side support stays, but now the front top of my underwire support sticks out under my shirts. I guess that's better than digging in my sides.

Got this and tried it on. I was astonished how nice it felt but seemed a little large. When I checked the tag, it was a band size large. that was why I had some extra material at the cups and band. The band fits fine and the cups fit ok but the seam between the fabric and the lace means you'll have to be careful what blouses it is being worn under.

I have worn this bra for a couple years now and was happy to find it at Her Room and at a lower price! It is called a minimizer, however I haven't found that my appearance is minimized in any way. What I love about this bra is that it is very supportive, but not in an industrial way. I also like the lace on the upper portion of the cups, it adds a touch of femininity to the bra. I do find that the 34 band is a bit smaller in comparison to other bras as I do need to put it on the very last hooks, where other bras in same size I will use the smallest size hook adjustment.
