I love this bra with the quick front close and racerback straps. It is very easy to put on, the cups are well sized with just enough lining to hide nipples. The straps will never slip and are easily adjustable. The nude color is perfect.

Love it. I'd bought one a band size smaller and found it a bit tight for comfort. This one is a bit loose, but I can live with that. I do find the straps a bit short, but that will fix itself as they stretch. Best bra I've worn in decades.

The bra is comfortable but the cup shaping is off. The shallow cups push the breasts towards my arm pits when they want to rest comfortably straight. During the day my breasts will move to their natural position and cause spillage in the middle.

I thought I would like this bra when I tried it on. Once I wore it, I discovered the boning on the side is too tall/long. It begins to cut into the underarm and became uncomfortable. The braw showed around the underarm area under tops.
HerRoom Response: We are sorry to read this review and admit to being a bit baffled by your comment about the high sides. They are only 3-1/2" tall - most average around 4".

This bra is beautifully designed and was exactly what I'd been looking for! It would have been so perfect if only the straps were longer. I hope Leading Lady reissues this bra with longer straps, maybe a couple inches or so longer.
HerRoom Response: At this time, there are no plans to lengthen the straps. The back design creates limitations to how long the straps can be.

I found that the band width to be true to size but the cup size was too big. I lost weight which is noticeable in breast area & with a foam cup it was more pronounced. Cup buckled when closed, so I returned bra. Also, straps are higher on shoulder.
HerRoom Response: A contour cup like this with light foam for modesty should not buckle. If it does, your cup size is too large.

This is the third or fourth time I’ve ordered this bra but I can’t say I would order it again the fit is good but each time the underwire comes out and sticks into me.
HerRoom Response: It sounds like the band may be too big, is rubbing and ultimately causing your underwire to poke out. But, you did not state where exactly it is poking out.

5 stars for materials, construction, quality but 1 star for the fit. The cup was too shallow, but the wires poked me under my arms. Had I ordered a 46B, the cups would have been just the same, wire-length wise OR even longer.
HerRoom Response: It is noted that you are petite in height. This bra is not a good choice due to its limited adjustability.

I purchased 4 and returned 3 because I had worn one. I have tried different band sizes and cup sizes.None fit properly because the straps are to short causing the band to rise with body movements exposing the breast. Very uncomfortable.
HerRoom Response: You are petite in height and the unique back style does not give a lot of strap adjustability. This bra is probably not a good choice for women who are petite or short-waisted.

The cup size on this bra is unusually large for a B cup. I plan to return it and order the size A. I haven't worn an A cup in my adult life, but the band size and straps were so comfortable, I have to give it another try.
HerRoom Response: We believe you moved from a 42 to a 44 band size. When you do this you need to go down a cup size to maintain cup volume. So, you should move from a 42B to a 44A.

I went up 1 band size (44 from 42) because I've had this bra before. The bra itself is extremely comfortable! But I went up a size because after you do up the clasp, it would twist in the front between the breasts. I bought the same bra in white in 44, and it didnt twist and was still super comfortable. However, the clasp on the black one STILL twists, even after going up a size

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BRA. I have never had a more comfortable bra in my life. I have bought this specific style for the last 3 years and I am completely sold! The only draw back is that the underwire snaps after a while, usually a years time. I wish I could get more life out of it. Also, the straps do slide towards my neck because I have broad shoulders. So my tops do not cover the straps most of the time. But for the amount of comfort I get during the day, I deal with it! :)

Super soft and band hides back “bumps”. The problem is that it is very stretchy and you cannot adjust the straps enough if you are petite. Also the cups come up very high under the armpit. The cups were not shaped quite right so things weren’t “contained” in the center. They sneak out the bottom middle.

Though I finally found the right size and these have the features I need, THEY BREAK! Sometimes within the first or second wearing. The very sharp wire breaks through the flimsy casing fabric. Some of them don't even have the plastic coating on the end of the wire so it scratches and stabs the skin. PLEASE MANUFACTURE THESE BRAS WITH MORE CONCERN FOR QUALITY AND SAFETY!

I ordered according to the suggested idea of getting one size larger on the band, because it might fit pretty snuggly. And it think is might have been a good fit, but I'm having shoulder surgery and the upper edge of the cup was right up against my armpit, and I was afraid it might irritate the area post-op. But the bra was comfortable in all other areas.

Bra quality was excellent. The cup size B was HUGH. I wear a B in the common market place but this B was more like a D or DD. I have never seen such large cups! And I of course, with age, tend to sag which made them even larger.

The band size was correct but I've ordered/returned two different cup sizes. I first ordered a C because it recommended going up a band size and down a cup size, I'm normally a 46D, so I ordered a 48C. I was shocked when I received the order - the cup was twice the size. I exchanged it for a B cup and still had the same problem! I'm not even bothering with a A cup! I've never seen a cup sized the way this one is. Maybe it would do better for someone with fuller breasts on the top? The style of clasp on the front was the only thing I liked about this one! Very disappointing.

This bra fit so weirdly on me. The band size seemed fine, but the cups were WAY too small and were spaced really far apart - like more under my armpits than to the front. I would usually just try a cup size up, but the way it fits, I'm just going to pass.
Leading Lady Response: This is a front closure bra and is not adjustable. You may need a larger cup size. We suggest trying a 36G, this may work better.

UPDATE: Now that I've worn the bra, I can add that it's not the most comfortable bra, and it pushes your breasts out to the side (the front closure is a bit too wide).

I bought this bra for the front closure & wide shouldet straps. This is a close replacement of my brand name bra (which is no longer being made). The material of the bra cups is somewhat stiff but might soften up afyer a few washings. Shoulder straps are wide & padded but sit very clise to my neck...this may be solved by adjusting the length.

I have been searching for a front close t back bra for a full figure for awhile. All other bra straps slip on one side. Its uncomfortable and at times embarressing. It is soft, supportive and the straps stay in place.

It says it's a 44B but it's really a 44C. The cup is way too big for me. I like the foam cup and the front close. I would prefer regular straps but couldn't find them with the foam cup.

My size but too small, I have a brand new one in the box and I need to send this back. I wore the black one, but it was too tight and uncomfortable.
HerRoom response: We should suggest going up a band size. Our Tomima Tip states that this front closure bra fits tight in the band to allow stretch over time.. Consider moving up a band size and thus down a cup size

After reading other reviews (some said the cup size was too big, others said too small) I decided to order in my normal size. While the band size was perfect, the cup size was way too small. It was so small I actually double checked to make sure they had sent the size I ordered. I will be returning the two I ordered. I may try this one again some time in the future as I would really like a front close racerback with a more substantial cup.
Leading Lady response: This sounds like a fit issue. You could try a 38DD (when finding your sister size- if you go up a band size, you need to go down a cup size). Please make sure you're fitted correctly. You can check out the HerRoom Bra Fitting Advice Page.

I ordered this bra because I wanted a racerback for wearing at the gym. Apparently no one will manufacture one in my size, 34G. So I tried this one, in DDD. It works. Sort of. If it were a G cup, it would probably be perfect.
Manufacturers, if you're listening, we larger chested girls exist, and we would really appreciate having these options available to us.
HerRoom response: We carry sizes up to an N cup (D12). Please use our drop down menu to put in your size and it will provide many bras that come in your 34G - including various sports bras.

Although the band size was good and I love that it is a racer back (no slipping strps) the cups were way too full. They cave in on the sides. Sigh. Since Spanx changed the design of their racer back, I can no longer find a bra that fits :(
HerRoom response: This is a fuller cup sized bra and it sounds like you may need to go down a cup size in order to fill out the cups.

Well here we go again! Every time I actually find a 44B- the manufacturers must think women don't actually now our own size because it is ALWAYS a "C" cup! I can order any 42B and fits perfect- other than just a little snug on the back, and I hate to see a bra outline/bulge of any sort. As usual I'm sending back. All sizes over 40 don't need the coverage of a truck! Too bad they don't realize.

The item was as shown but was a little too roomy in the cup. I then ordered it in one size smaller cup and same band size and it seems too snug in the band and cup so I haven't worn either one. It's hard to find a good fit buying online but even harder to find the racer back style in larger sizes in stores.

Love this bra. I cannot find a front clasp and racerback in my size. This is the only one that has a good fit and support. My current order is my 3rd one of this bra and I was super excited to get black and a print. On my original purchase, I got a width a little larger after reading comments and it was a perfect fit. With my bust size, a traditional bra cuts off circulation to my arms where the straps naturally fit. The racerback style is perfect. I highly recommend this bra.

I liked the bra and it seemed to fit well but after wearing it to work, by mid morning it was sore where it laid on my rib cage below my breasts. I have only worn one of the two I ordered trying to decide if I was going to keep the second one. I have had breast cancer and regular bra's, the straps fall off my shoulder and that is a real pain! The racerback bra's seem to work to stop this. I may try to sew a different fabric to the bra to see if that will fix the problem, even though that seems like a pain!

Incredibly comfortable bra. I would give 5 stars but as it turns out, I'm not a great fan of the racer back straps because the straps show even with a moderate open-neck design top. I read a couple of reviews that said the bra ran small so I ordered a 44 but I really needed a 42 band. The band and cup feel too roomy but I'm keeping it because it is so comfy and sometimes my weight fluctuates. The only thing about front closure bras is that I don't like how the straps show under so many different shirts! I LOVE the smooth back feel and the fabric is soft.
Leading Lady Response: It sounds like you may have ordered your incorrect size in this style. Perhaps you should have sized down one size in the band as you mentioned.

I prefer a racer-back style because the straps don't ever slip down. It was a good thing that a hint about ordering a size larger band and a size smaller cup appeared with the item's description because its band does indeed run small. The front closure devise took a bit of getting used to since it needs to snap before you can open it and I was at first afraid I'd break it. Otherwise I really like this bra, which is a replacement for a similar bra I was buying from a different manufacturer that is no longer being made.

I ordered per the recommendation of going up in band and down in cup size. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering, which I normally do. I agree with one and that is the cups run big and have a cone aspect to them, maybe because they are so big. I normally wear a D cup, but went down to a C and still could have gotten by with a B. Was glad to find a front hook bra in my size as they are not easily found in stores. However, will rethink this purchase at this time before ordering again.

I am very disappointed in this bra. I ordered three of them. The cups run HUGE. I am typically a 44D. In this bra, I should have ordered a 46B. They are simply huge. Also, the cups seem to stick out in a cone shape. Perhaps this is because they are so LARGE. In any event, I probably will not buy these again.
Leading Lady Response: This is a full coverage bra, so the sizing may be a bit different than what you are used to. Also, this is a tight fitting bra and the front closure does not allow you to adjust the band as that of a hook-and-eye closure. Perhaps going up a band size and down a cup size would give you a more desired fit.

It fits perfectly. I am large with small breasts- finding a bra that fits is next to impossible. I have always had to wear bras that are a band size too small with a size larger cups. A good friend told me about Her Room and said she has always been pleased with her purchases so I thought give it a try.
I have to say that this bra is the perfect fit and the quality is superb. I am so blown away that I could have been wearing a comfortable fitting bra for years but I was skeptical of online stores. Never again will I wear an uncomfortable bra.
P.S. The delivery came two days earlier than expected and inside the package my bras were packed in a beautiful Her Room material drawstring bag that was the icing on the cake.

I ordered the same size I have in dozens of other bras and this bra was at least two inches smaller. Since there is no return postage paid I decided to just eat it - but beware... this has wildly inaccurate sizing!
HerRoom Response: Please refer to the Tomima Tip that can be found in the details section of this style: "This front closure bra fits tight in the band to allow stretch over time.. Consider moving up a band size and thus down a cup size (Example: 38C should consider a 40B)."

I bought this in a 38A. If this was a true 38A, then something must be wrong. Usually 38A fits me well. I've lost weight recently so there shouldn't have been a problem with the fit, but it was way too small around. Cup size fit okay however.
HerRoom Response: Please refer to the Tomima Tip found in the detail section for this style. We recommend moving up a band size and thus down a cup size (Example: 38C should consider a 40B). This being a front closure bra, the band fits tighter and cannot be adjusted like a hook-and-eye closure allows.

The cups did not fit right. Even lifting every thing up, I still had space on top of the cup. I don't know if I measured wrong or what the issue might be.. The bra itself looked nice, and the front closure and racer back is what I bought it for, but the fit was wrong.
HerRoom Response: Being that this bra has a front closure, you are unable to adjust the band size as you can with a hook-and-eye closure. You may need to consider going up one band size and down a cup size to achieve your desired fit. Please refer to the 'Tomima Tip' for fit tips found in the detail section of this style.

Fits smaller than I expected. I measured, but as usual the band still digs. I know I'm a weird size, and it's really hard to even find a bra that fits well. Guess I'll keep looking....
Leading Lady Response: Being that this is a front closer bra, it is much less forgiving since it does not have adjustments. Perhaps you may want to try Leading Lady Scallop Lace Cup Underwire Bra, which offers the same support and comfort with an adjustable back to help you achieve your desired fit.

The cup size was right but I ordered a 42 and it was really a 36 or 38. The cup seemed to have a good quality of material but the material around your body was very thin and would roll up instead of laying flat against your body. Would not order it again. Really good service from Her Room..

I love how this bra fits. I have always had trouble getting bras to fit the right way. I have narrow shoulders. For many years I have tried to wear bras that hook in the back like most women but, eventually the straps fall. Wearing a racerback is the best choice I have ever made. The straps stay up- I am so happy. I would recommend this bra.

This bra is the most comfortable I have worn in years, but it took me several tries to find the right one. Then I tried the Leading Lady racer-back in a 42A. No problem with straps, but too tight. I measured it around and it was only 39", and I am a true 42" around, so I ordered the 44A, and finally found the right fit! My ONLY complaint is that long little tag hanging in the back, it tickles the daylights out of me, and I know cutting it off would still leave the little nub, so I am leaving it. All in all, a good purchase and no more backaches, neck pain, and struggling with falling straps.

Nice appearance, but the size was off. My 44A should have been 36A.
HerRoom Response: Sometimes on styles that have front closures it is necessary to go up in band size. This is due to the fact that you can not adjust the band like you can with bras that have back hook closures. Please also keep in mind that women need to be measured at least once a year due to our bodies constantly changing. Try using our Bra Fitting Advice Page. As a first time buyer from you, I was extremely disappointed with the bra because it was so much smaller in the band around the rib cage area than any of my other bras of the same size. I'll have to return it. I didn't put it on but measured it and compared it with my other bras. I'm waiting for the back ordered bra I had ordered in the next size, 44C, to see if I'll have to return that one, too. I certainly hope not.
HerRoom Response: Sometimes on styles that have front closures we recommend going up in band size since you can not adjust the band like bras with back hook closures. We hope the next band size up works for you.
