It's comfortable for nursing Submitted from TheUndies.com

I really like this nursing sports bra. I read reviews of it rubbing/hurting but I haven't found that to be true for me. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem like a high impact sports bra - I'd say more like medium coverage. It definitely isn't the best for running/jump ropes. Brett

Sadly this didn't work for me. It was uncomfortable and too high under the arms. Might be because I have a tall torso? Rest of the bra would've worked from a design perspective though. Tammy from Monterey, CA, USA

This is an okay sports bra in my opinion. The reason I gave the 3 star rating was because it fits a little tight. It fits me the right way, the way a sports bra is meant to, but the longer I wear it, the worse it gets. It dug into my ribs and felt like it was getting tighter as the day went on. Also, the fabric for the modesty panel is very poor quality and extremely itchy if you sweat, like I do. It's a very scratchy material against the skin. If the modesty panel was made of the same material as the outer shell of the sports bra and it fit a little better, I wouldn't have an issue with this bra. I still wear it to the gym, mainly because it's the only nursing sports bra that is made for high impact. If I had my choice, I would've saved my money and bought a different one.

La Leche League Response: The inside fabric is the same as the outside fabric. The only different fabric is on the strap and side. This bra is made of cotton/spandex. Cotton absorbs perspiration and spandex gives the bra a nice stretch so that the band doesn't feel too tight. We recommend going up a size to XL. Angel from Sevierville, TN

This is the best option I have found for a nursing sports bra. It is difficult to find a sportive sports bra for a large bust and small band size. It is not my favorite bra but it does he job for the most part. I have done some weightlifting and fast walking in it. I am currently a 36I and ordered an XL. The straps are a little tight but the band fits. It does provide enough covered to avoid coming out of the bra. Leann from Atlanta, Georgia

I wear a 36D, and usually wear a size 8. So I ordered a medium according to the size chart, and the medium was too small. The chest band was too high, and cup size was too small. It was difficult to get on and off. 3 stars for sizing chart, 5 stars for the bra itself (ordered a large and it is perfect!) Karyn from Cedar Park

I was really excited about this sports bra and wanted to love it. However, everything about this bra hurt me. I wear a 40C nursing bra and size 14 clothing, so I ordered an XL. It is so tight that it left bruises under my armpits after one wear, and it is impossible for me to nurse in it. I could not wait to get home and change out of it. My best advice would be to order much larger than you think you'll need when ordering this sports bra.

La Leche League Response: It sounds as though you may be in the wrong size bra. Perhaps sizing up to a 42C - size 2X in this bra - would be a better fit for you. Please refer to the size chart. Jennifer from SC

It should be noted that this bra runs smaller than usual. I received this for a gift in a size small and had to exchange it for a size large.... waiting for my exchange to come in? Hope it works this time.

La Leche League Response: Perhaps this bra was not a good fit for your body type. This bra has been in our line for nearly 10 years now, and we have never had an issue with fit. Brenda from Plano, TX

Great bra. Good for high intensity workouts and yoga. Only critique is that I wish the modesty layer panel went a little further down into the bra. Occasionally when running/jumping I have some weird cleavage peeking out. Heather from Walnut Creek CA

This is the perfect bra for a new mom whose supply is still regulating and the idea of wearing a nursing bra with wires is horrifying. I wore these nursing bras the entire first eight-weeks post-partum and loved them completely. The large had plenty of room for my large breasts 34G, once supply regulated and my ample over-supply as it filled in every few hours. Amy from Indiana

This item is wonderful, so much support! I tried other brands and nothing has worked nearly as well. Well worth every penny! I can now exercise without any pain or discomfort. Easy to feed while wearing as well. Five stars! Christie from Montgomery, Al

Pre-pregnancy bra size was 34E. At 13 wks pregnant, bra size is 34FF. I initially tried the L and it was a bit snug, so I ordered the XL, and it is perfect. Very comfortable fit. KI from Fort Worth, TX

This is better than a nursing bra or a sports bra alone. I do an intense kickboxing workout and it does the job. Liz from Topeka, KS

Because you can use for nursing and for running which can be difficult if you need to nurse right after a run and/or exercise. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I purchased the right size, as per the sizing chart, but this bra actually causes pain. The straps fit so high up on the shoulder, that they caused cramps in my trap muscles. It also compresses the breast tissue so much that it is a bit painful.

La Leche League Response: There should be no pain anywhere when wearing the right size bra. I think you should try something very supportive and cup sized. Katherine from Utah

I'm currently expecting my 2nd child and my current bra size is 44F. This bra currently fit fairly snugly but not way too tight. I have no doubts that it will suit my needs perfectly when I am able to start exercising again after the birth of my baby. My only minor issue with the bra is that the clips attached to the stationary strap should be attached both at the top and bottom. With the bottom not attached, it swings a little too freely making it difficult to unlatch with one hand. A few stitches by hand resolve the problem for me. Tori from Columbus Ohio

I am returning this because there is no support for my breast size.

La Leche League Response: Bra does give great support depending on what size you are. Please check the sizing chart for appropriate bra size equivalents. Ald from Orlando

I looked everywhere to find a nursing sports bra that I would like as much as my regular ones and this is it! It is very supportive for my 38C chest and is very comfortable. It looks great too which I can't say about an of the others I tried. Once I'm back in shape I will be able to wear it alone as a top. I like that it has fabric that separates your breasts. It provides more support and catches the sweat so it doesn't pool in the lower band. It is easy to nurse in too. It absorbs sweat so my little girl doesn't object to eatiing during or after a workout. I run and bike in it and might keep wearing it even after I don't need a nursing bra. Liz from Philadelphia, PA

This bra certainly delivers on the high impact claim. Finally an end to painful bouncing during running workouts. Unfortunately, it's a b---- to take off! I have get my 6'4" husband to help pull it up over my head else I would need scissors to remove it. I know, I know. You have a number of front closure bras but their cost is prohibitive. Oh well. There aren't a lot of options for nursing sports bras and I was excited to find this one. The major drawbacks are that the coverage is overkill (cuts into my arm pits) and the nursing clasps are too high, so it can be hard to clasp one handed. Otherwise it's a nice, standard sports bra that gets the job done.

La Leche Response: Sorry you found the sides were to high for you, but they are that way to give better support. The clasps can not be lower than they are. Debra from Rochester, NY

This bra doesn't provide any support, is hard to get on, harder to get off, and is uncomfortable. The only thing good about it is the easy access for nursing. The underlayer chafes between my breasts, and there is essentially one layer of cotton spandex supporting my XL boobs. If you need support or comfort and have larger breasts, don't get this one.

La Leche League Response: We are sorry this didn't work for you. We have no other suggsetions for you in the La Leche League line. Tracy from Richmond, VA

My chest became HUGE when my milk came in. I am 5'3" and average size everywhere else. I have had the HARDEST time finding a good bra that supports the girls and doesn't let them bounce around just walking from one room to the other. This bra is absolutely fabulous. I don't use it for exercise but everyday wear. (I'm ordering an enell bra for exercise). It's made of quality fabric and is very comfortable. I ended up ordering a second one so I can alternate wearing them everyday. I'm not sure why it's not sold more places. It's a great bra. Highly recommend it. stephanie from phoenix, az

I've only used it for brisk walking and light jogging so far, but it is very comfortable and provides good support. I have a jogging stroller, so my baby is with me when I walk/jog at a local indoor track. It's great to have the flexibility to nurse him at the gym if his schedule doesn't quite line up with my workout schedule! Debra from IA
