This is the 3rd bra of this style that I have gotten. Really pretty and supportive. Tonya from TX

More than 40 years ago I wore front-closure bras made of similar sheer material. Back then I was "smaller", so the fact the bras didn't have the ability to adjust the straps or "girth" didn't matter. They fit very well, and I felt very sexy wearing them when my husband and I had an evening out! I never thought I'd see them again, I've spent years (and a lot of money) on various bras, never finding a comfortable one that fit, that had a proper cup design so my chest didn't look like I had 2 doorknobs attached, or wasn't made for 20 - somethings, or doesn't have padding that makes cleavage so massive it looks like your hind end. I hate wearing a bra, I have RA as well as OA, I'm thin and have petite bones, and bras have become torture for me to wear. Whenever I can get away with it, I go bra-less, which is easy to do during winter with layers of a cami, a t-shirt, and either a sweatshirt or zip up fleece like The North Face. However, I do go out and "dress" often, so etiquette demands I wear a bra. I found Her Room and this bra a couple months ago. I was so excited to see the style and no padding! I bought one in the size a saleswoman recommended to me sometime ago. It was a 34DDD. Well, the only thing DDD in my whole life has been my lips, I was 5 feet 4 inches, 100 lbs until I was 60, wore a 32D ( try finding THAT size anywhere). At 71, I'm barely 5 feet 3 inches and 120 lbs, and age has reconfigured my figure. Now that the "puppies" have matured and are in proportion, they're unfortunately more a part of my waist than my chest. Anyway, the first bra was too big, I should have returned it, but it was better than using any of the 6 or 7 losers in my drawer. I ordered a 34DD a bit later, and it's perfect! My recent order was for 2 more, another nude color and one in black. My only question/suggestion is, can a little elasticity be woven in, or would that cause stretching out problems rendering the bra "saggy"? Her Room has been excellent with selection and service (merchandise comes surprisingly quickly), though a bit pricey. Worth it to find a bra I'll actually wear. Eva from Plymouth, MN

Wow, I was really taking a chance ordering this bra. I'm breastfeeding so it's so hard to gage what size I am. Finally a bra that secures my breast without gigantic shoulder straps! Super sexy and supportive. The breast shape is beautiful and there is no quad boob action. Thanks to the stretch around the perimeter of the cups. I'm so happy I don't have to return it! I can go to work without weird shaped breast from my breastfeeding bras. Bridget from Westchester/ NY.

My review would have been 5 stars however the description is not accurate. The straps are not convertible like the description states. That being said, the bra itself is pretty nice. It's supportive and light. I read some of the reviews before purchasing and decided to go up a cup size from the recommended universal cup size. I'm glad I did, the D5 wouldn't have had enough material in the cups.

HerRoom Response: Hello Kelc, we are very sorry to hear that you were confused by the description. This style has a leotard back and non-convertible straps for DD(D2) - G(D6) cup sizes. Only cup sizes A-D will have the convertible straps. Thank you for shopping at HerRoom! Kelc from Georgia

Fits perfectly and, even though it is sexy and sheer, it offers great support. Love this bra! I'm going to order more! Judith from Elgin

Love this Bra, fits very well and look great. The quality appears very god but now I am too sure about the durability, I noticed a small hole starting in one of the cups.

Gossard Response: This style was designed for comfort. The light gauge material was used for extra comfort. The gauge is light, allowing the wire to fit around the breast of the garment on the body. R from Portland, Or

This fits me just fine, tho I tend to wear 36C in other bras of this style -- completely soft cup, tho underwire. May need to try one in 36C just to compare. It's one of my go to faves. Pam from Atlanta

Absolutely beautiful. The only way to look braless and not be. No sag or bounce. Only wish they had it in white. Highly recommend!!! D from Ogden, UT

Well-made and sexy fabric, but a bad fit for me. I'm between 36C and 36D, so ordered both, but C cups are too big. Wires are also large, even though band size is correct. Didn't give an "uplifting" shape.

Gossard Response: This style was designed for comfort. The wires are slightly wide and the material is a light gauge to give the extra comfort. Martha from Boston

I'm writing this based on the husband's viewpoint. The bra is fairly transparent which is something I like to see my wife wear when we have a few hours to spend together. It seems more durable than other sheer bras I have purchased for her, which will hopefully mean it will last a little longer. Sizing seems to be a touch smaller than the other bras I bought but it does fit well (per her comments). My wife likes the style and variety of colors...states it is comfortable. She has asked for me to buy her another one. Collie from MN

This bra runs really strange with the sizing. The wires made such a narrow U shape that it didn't fit around my breasts. But the band was the right size and the fabric of the cups would have been deep enough.

Gossard Response: Depending on the styling that you usually wear, you may be expecting the garment to give the same kind of support as a padded bra. This style was designed for comfort. This wire is slightly wide and the material is a light gauge to give the extra comfort. Niki from Ohio

Finally a company that meets the needs of the people. My bra fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I love the weight of it, so light. Don't like dealing with a lot of fabric. The packaging is beautiful. It is like receiving a personal gift from a friend. Thank you! Beth from Hopewell Junction, NY

I'm a very and I do mean VERY full 38C, but I took the advice of others and purchased one cup size smaller and was glad that I did. I was a little worried when I first unwrapped it and saw how lightweight it actually was. I didn't know if it would provide any support for my girls, but I was wrong.

Gossard Response: As the Glossies cup is very light and has a little more give in the mold, a fuller bust size may well be able to fill a smaller size than they normally wear. However, with this, some customers may find that the wires are then too small. Depending on your awareness with your body and how a bra should fit will make the difference. Dana from 12015

Searched high and low for a bra that would not be seen under certain sheer garments. I had a bra bought many years ago that I only wear for this type of clothing. Finally found this bra and it's perfect! I now have more than one sheer bra! Linda from 07103

Nice fit, but the cups were too saggy on me. It needed a taller center.

Gossard Response: We have never heard anyone mention that the Glossies Sheer Bra needed a taller center front panel. If the cups were a little saggy, I would advise going down a cup size. However, we do not offer anything smaller than an A cup. Perhaps a size 34A would give you a more snug fit and help eliminate the sag in the cups. Charlie from Alaska

If you look young, why dress old? This bra is well-made and looks very natural under tops. So far I have mainly worn it under layered tops for work. Chris from Marcellus, MI

Love these Gossard bras. The cups run a little big, so order down a cup size (I usually wear 38C and 38B fits perfectly). Great for summer when you don't want the foam padding. Very sheer though, so your nipples will show through your tops. Cassandra from Lansing, MI

It is so hard to find a decent, unlined bra for bigger sizes. I'm a 34D, and this bra is a good fit. I felt it was true to size. Decent support for an unlined bra. Good construction in general. My only criticism is the width of the straps - they are very narrow for my size. They started digging into my shoulders. But, I like the bra so much I did follow up and order a couple more. Overall its a thumbs up! Sam from Florida
