Two years ago I bought 5 of this bra in 46 D & they were fine until I gained 30 lbs. (Ouch!) Then the bra band became too tight around my chest. I ordered 48 D in this bra but it does not fit at well. Bras gaps at sides & cups don't fit well. Help!

HerRoom Response: When you move up a band, you need to move down a cup size to maintain your cup volume. Your better size would be a 48C. Nancy from Basham

Great support and it's really comfortable. I would have rated this bra a 5, but there are a couple of issues. If your shirt material is thin the bra lines are visible across the front of your breasts. Also, I would like a bit of lining inside. Erin J from Seattle WA

This is my all-time favorite and no matter what other brand I've tried I always go back to it. It's comfortable and fits well. My only complaint would be the colors available, I would love for it to come in royal blue or purple! Tanya from Portland

Seems to run smaller than average. The sides are low, and don't fully contain your entire breast. I was disappointed and will return it.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for your review. Your comments are very curious. You are petite in height yet you say the sides are low. This bra has 4.5" tall sides with boning. This is a very tall and structured side to contain breast tissue. This bra has been in the Goddess Collection for many years. We feel it runs true to size. Jae from Ft. Lauderdale

About a month or so into wearing each of them, I put my thumb through the lace while pulling up the strap putting it on. Be careful, seems very weak there.

Goddess Response: Since you always want your bras in tip top shape, please handle with care and avoid the dryer and harsh cleansers. These steps will lesson the daily wear and tear on your garment and keep it in its best form for longer! Jamie from 40229

The band was very chafing for me. This is the right size. It just hurt under the side of my boob. I would say this is a nope for larger sizes. Not enough support also.

Goddess Response: Often times when chafing occurs it indicates that the bra band is too large. We suggest checking out HerRoom's Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Michelle from FT WALTON BCH

Items were perfect, but since I was already wearing the same item, that wasn't surprising. What was surprising is that I received the bras in less than a week. I had previously ordered the same bras from another company, I contacted them after 4 weeks and they said they *hoped* they would get them to me in the next 6 weeks. Not enough lift. Side panel distorts breast shape.

Goddess Response: Very often you won’t experience the lift you desire if the band is too loose. For more lift and support try going down a band size and up a cup size. You might be amazed at the difference it can make! Perhaps try a 46H. Bonnie from Haverstraw, NY

This should have fit me, as I wear a 38E in another brand, but I didn't like the way it fit. It didn't give me enough shape on the sides, although it had plenty of support on the bottom. I really wanted to find a bra without an underwire that I could wear, but I guess some people can't get by without one.

Goddess Response: It’s easier to get the best shaping with an under-wire bra than with a soft-cup bra. That’s a fact. However if you have your heart set on a soft cup bra, perhaps give our Clara, GD6630, a try. The fabrication in Clara is firmer than the fabrication in GD6093, and Clara offers a bit more coverage. Both of these features will help with shaping and will bring the breast tissue in on the sides. Kelly from Glassboro, NJ USA

Fit is really bad. If you like just the tip of your boobs to be pointy and then shoved together and the rest of your chest just hang out and have no where to go then this is the perfect bra for you.

Goddess Response: Hi Kylee. It sounds very much like the cups are too small for you. Very often the bra will look pointy if too much breast tissue is forced into a too small space. If the breast tissue is “shoved together, and hanging out” you definitely need a larger cup. Fortunately, this style goes to a 56H, so you have plenty of cup and band sizes to choose from. Tomima’s fabulous fitting tips and videos were created to help you find your perfect fit, so take a peek! Kylee from Gillette, WY

Very comfortable and like it slightly different fit to GD6161 but very nice still but many have moaned about fit but this is quite a generous over the other in goddess range so as been said go down and back and up a cup Read Elisabeth Dale's web blog on bra's etc so learn about fitting etc or even on here as they say look and learn! But you have to find a style that suits you as like in shoes one will fit great the other pair like made by the devil even if same size and same with bra's as breast shape are different not just back/cup also this one is different to others in frontal area which is why some might find odd to them but Goddess have many similar styles well look it but fit differently so find one for you as a great brand. For me as a male with Gyno from young and illness which causes a problem with gland/hormones which make things gland painful took the step to find some support and learning about Bra's etc with fitting's and fit's etc and variations between styles/makers etc i look for comfort and quality and the Goddess/Elomi/Fantasie brands are very good very happy with what ive found so far just wish they wouldn't keep deleting styles so quick as find something you like and before can get back to it it's on end of line and seen many ladies are on with that also and for guy's it's harder with our fit as we both have B's just that some have more some have less way of the world. But Her Room is good very helpful and our cash is the same as anyone else's! DDtop from London UK

Very uncomfortable. Sides and back ride up

Goddess Response: Tabitha, our customers tell us GD6093 is one of our most comfortable bras. It might be you’re in the wrong size. If your band is riding up, it’s a sure sign that the band is too big. Most of your support comes from the “body” of the bra, or the band, so if you go down in the band, and up in the cups this style should work beautifully for you! Tabitha from West Memphis ar us

I love this bra, and I've gotten a few of them in the past. For some reason though, I have no luck with the mesh -- it falls apart on me after a few washings, no matter how careful I am! Still, the fit is great and I like what they do for my silhouette while they last; in addition to being comfortable they're very supportive. If I could find this bra in the same cut without the mesh, I'd be extremely happy! Liz from Brooklyn, NY

The bras looked lovely and of good quality but they are so huge and bulky and uncomfortable. I sent them right back after trying them on and just received a different order from your company yesterday which I have yet to try. I am still on the hunt for bras that are big enough around (50) but without such HUGE industrial strength cups! I hope the ones I just got will fill the bill.

Goddess Response: Jo Ellen, Goddess bras are constructed to give you the ultimate in shaping and support. Keira (GD6093) is designed to be a full coverage bra to ensure all of your breast tissue is contained in the cups. It’s so important to ‘swoop and scoop’ your breast tissue from the back towards your cleavage. This will bring the breast tissue out from under the arms into the cups, slimming the torso and filling the cups. Your bras will fit completely differently simply by adjusting your breast tissue into the cups. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself going down in the band, and up in the cup! The breasts are lifted, and the waist is longer and leaner. You’ll be amazed at how much better your clothes will drape on your body! JoEllen from Fargo, ND, USA

I own Goddess Keira underwire bras, size 36H which I wear everyday. This soft cup version DOES NOT fit...the cup is substantially smaller than the same size in the underwire. A real shame...not only should we be able to count on a certain consistency of sizing, but most of us in the specialty sizes have to order online, which makes the poor sizing even more inconvenient.

Goddess Response: We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with this style. Please try our brand new soft cup style, Goddess Audrey Soft Cup Bra GD6121. Audrey has just launched on HerRoom.com, and has lots of fabulous features! GD6121 is offered to a D11 cup, so you can go up as many cups as you need. It also has movable shoulder pads on the straps for the ultimate in cushy comfort. Kathleen from Ontario, Canada

The bra rides up in the back. The quality of this bra is not comparable to the old 304 style. I was very disappointed. I realize the company made changes but why change a good thing. I guess I will need to find a different company and say goodbye to the Goddess products.

Goddess Response: If your bra is riding up in the back it’s a sure sign the band is too loose for you. The band in GD6093 does run fuller than GD304 did, so please try going down in the band and up in the cup in this style before you give up on Goddess. It could make all the difference in how the bra fits and I think you’ll be very happy with the results. Pamela from New Orleans, La.

This bra just doesn't fit right. I tried every combination of adjusting the band and the straps, and although it's the right size, it rides up in the back and does something weird in the front that I can't even describe. Goddess bras just aren't shaped right. It gets two stars instead of one, though, because it's cute, for a big-sized bra, and it doesn't have huge wide ugly straps.

Goddess Response: If your band is riding up, it’s usually an indication that the band is too big. Also, it’s just as important to adjust your breast tissue into the cups, as it is to find the correct size and style: Make sure you ‘swoop and scoop’ all of your breast tissue from the back to the front into the cups... –this will completely change the fit of the bra! Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit to help show you the way to that perfect fit! Matilda from CA

This bra would be perfect if it only came in a larger cup size (the underwire version comes in a larger cup size, but I won't wear underwire bras). The material is very supportive, the fawn color is great and I especially like the way the center of the band goes upward in a slight "v" shape - makes the band more comfortable. Why can't Goddess make this bra in a 44I? Linda from Campton Hills, IL, USA

I just sent it back. It has no support at all. It is not worth the money.

Goddess Response: Very often it’s the size, not the style which is not working. Even the best bra in the world won’t be able to do its’ job (to lift and support the breast tissue) if it’s the wrong size. Most of the support for your breasts should come from the body of the bra (the cups and the band working together for that lift and support) not the straps. We often find ladies are wearing their bands too big, and their cups too small. The band should fit snuggly around the torso (like a hug) for optimum support. If the band is too big, it will ride up and the breasts will fall forward kind of like a see-saw... –not a good look! Fortunately Goddess 6093 goes to an H-cup, so you have several more cup sizes to choose from. Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit to help you. Shadow75 from Philadelphia Pa

It's ok. The adjustable straps do nothing when you have stretchable straps. You have to pull the straps all the way up and then it crawls up so high that it hurts your under arms. What happened to the old Goddess 54DD??

Goddess Response: Judging by what you say, it seems that you’re depending on the straps for your support: Most of the support for your breasts should come from the body of the bra (the cups and band working together for lift and support) not the straps. We often find ladies are wearing their bands too big, and their cups too small. The band should fit snuggly around the torso (like a hug) for optimum support. If the band is too big, it will ride up and the breasts will fall forward kind of like a see-saw... –not a good look! Perhaps try going down in the band and up in the cup (52D4). Don’t be afraid to go down several band sizes, and up several cup sizes if you need to. Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit too. Marilyn from Laguna Hills, CA

I ordered this item in the size I already have. The sizing has changed. The US size has become smaller. I checked the UK and European sizes against what I already have and they are different whereas the US size stayed the same. I was disappointed.

Goddess Response: I promise you our sizing hasn’t changed, but it can be confusing when you compare UK, U.S. and European sizing. The absolute easiest thing to do is to look at the U.S. sizing if it’s an American brand, and look at the UK sizing if it’s a UK Brit brand. We found when we listed UK, U.S. and European sizing on the same tag, many customers didn’t know where to look on the tag and got even more confused. This way no matter where you look on the tag the size will correspond to the “nationality” of the brand. Gina from West Chester, PA

Nice looking, but I thought the fit would be better. But I will still wear it.

Goddess Response: It sounds very much like you’re not in the correct size. This style goes up to a 56H, so there are plenty of cup and band sizes to play with to find the perfect size for you. Sometimes it takes a bit of “trial and error” to find the size you need, but it’s oh-so-worth the effort! The payoff is lift, support and most of all comfort! This is a lovely, well made bra but the fit is very odd. I found the cup size to be larger than I expected and the straps longer than expected. However, every body type is different and I must admit the craftsmanship was wonderful.

Goddess Response: We’re so glad you love this bra - now we just have to tweak the size a bit to get the fit just right for you. If you’re finding the cup is too large, just go down a cup to a 48B. The straps are adjustable too, so you can make them longer or shorter according to your needs. This should make the fit just about perfect. Please refer to “Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit” to give you more guidance. Lisa from Plante

This bra was a joke. I was so excited a the thought of owning a black bra. The sport is non exsistent and the material was hard. I exchanged this bra and I am hoping to have better luck with my next selection.

Goddess Response: 6093 is a wonderful bra, but of course it must be the correct size to be able to provide the lift and support you’re looking for. Very often we find that women are wearing their bands too big and their cups too small, and if the band is too big around the torso, it will ride up in the back and the breasts will fall down in the front (just like a see-saw or a teeter-totter)… Most of the support should come from the body of the bra, so the band should be snug –like a hug. If this scenario sounds like it might apply to you, you might want to try our Alice soft cup bra 6040: Alice goes to a K-cup, so you could try going down in the band and up one or even two cup sizes for that “custom fit”. Also Alice offers fuller coverage than God6093 for maximum support. And you mentioned that you were excited at the prospect of owning a black bra: Alice is available in Black. The back of the bra sticks out and I plan on canceling my order for two black ones. Why oh why did Goddess eliminate the 304??? I now can't find a bra that fits me right!!

Goddess Response: I know how difficult it is to transition from a style you’ve relied on for many years to a new version! Sometimes you have to experiment a bit with sizing to find the perfect fit which can be frustrating. Most of our 304 customers have been very happy with #6093 once they’ve found their correct size: If the back of the bra ‘sticks out’ it could mean you need to go down a band size, and up a cup size. Perhaps try a 54DD. Gail from Medford, MA, USA

Maybe I ordered wrong a 56 instead of 54 but whatever the reason the cup size is to big, so ladies ,I would order your regular size, unless the cup is to big since this is a new design bra. I'll wash it a few more times & we will see how it fits then.

Goddess Response: Goddess 6093 is a wonderful bra, but of course it needs to be the correct size in order to provide the support and comfort you’re looking for. Is the band riding up your back? If so, the band is too big, and yes you need to go down to a 54-band. If only the cups are too big, just go down in the cup size to a DD. If you’re finding both cup and band too big, order a 54DDD. The band will be a band size smaller, and the cup will be a cup size smaller. Karen from New Lenox, IL

Loved my Previous Goddess Satin Cup Soft Cup bra of about 5 years ago. No longer found that one anywhere so I ordered this Kiera . I need a lot of support and like the 3 section cup bras for that purpose. THIS bra does have great support for heavy breasts..BUT the sides come up really high under my arms and I cannot wear this one for longer than two hours...it is very uncomfortable due to those HIGH SIDES.

Goddess Response: We agree, Keira is a wonderfully supportive bra, and pretty too! It could be you have a petite upper torso (not much room from the underside of the breast to the shoulder) and often the sides of a bra will come up higher under the arms with this figure type, as there’s so little room… Generally we recommend going down in the cup for a bit less coverage: Perhaps try a 42DD. Goddess, please stop jerking us around! If you want to update your line, wonderful! But WHY change sizing? Isn't it hard enough to get a good fit? Why must we spend so much time and money trying to get the right size? Or wasting time on a line of bras we will never fit into even though we have long experience with your brand? It killed me to return this bra. It was lovely. Gorgeous material in a beautiful color. (Fawn.) But, even though I currently own and wear routinely a Goddess 304 in a 50 DDD (yes, cups are a bit small after I gained weight) and a Goddess Splendid Florals 110 in a 48F (perfect fit but poor support) I do not think I can find a Keira I will be able to wear. I purchased a 50G and the cups were so small they flattened me like a pancake. The band was so comfy and the bra was even comfy even though it didn't fit. But after going over all the new sizing recommendations and seeing how much larger the cups would have to be, it looks like I would have to buy a 50J to get the same fit as my 48F Florals! Wouldn't be so terrible except that you don't make one! I've worn Goddess for at least 20 years but I just can't waste this much shipping money trying to figure out my new size. This was my third bra purchase in a month trying to find a fit - never had that problem before. Now I'm moving over to Aviana Soft Cup 2353 which looks as though it will actually fit. What a disappointment and huge waste of time and money.

Goddess Response: Renata, I know it’s very frustrating to wade through new styles and sizing when you’re accustomed (and comfortable) with what you’ve worn in the past. Technology has come a long way, and we can push the boundaries of size and design –and sometimes change is good! I hope you’ll try our Alice bra (GD6040) one of our very favorite styles! Alice is a gorgeous-all-over French lace built on an M-frame for perfect bust separation. The cup and band of Alice is slightly more generous than Kiera, and provides maximum support. I’d recommend you try a 48H. Renata from Chicagoland

I ordered the soft cup and meant to get the under-wire, soft cups just don't provide the support for someone who is active. I tried this bra on and it was fine when I was upright or sitting but I was falling out of the top when I leaned over to pick up something. So I returned it and plan to purchase the under-wire model again, once it is off the back order list. Sandy from Grand Junction

Really liked everything about this bra, and having tried the 42DDD (perfect size in another Goddess style) ordered that size. The band was too big, cup slightly small, so ordered the 40G... Band still loose, perhaps because I went up cup size? But, it seemed the right size... LOVE that Goddess straps do not slip! Set close together. Ed's mom from Floyd County Virginia

Thank you, thank you for a very comfortable bra with NO underwires! I have two requests; one that the straps are adjustable from the front and two, fewer seams on the cups. It doesn't permit a well fitting t=shirt with each seam exposed! However, I am thrilled. I remarked to a friend that this bra is JUST as my mother and her contemporaries wore in the 50's and 60's. They would approve! Thank you! Wendy from Gloucester, VA

This is the worst bra I have ever bought from Goddess! I paid 48 dollars just to have the sheer lace on top of the cups shread when I was adjusting my breast inside the cup! I have always done this, was taught to do this by the bra specialist here. I was told they discontinued the style I have worn for years and it truly upsets me. It isn't like I can buy a lesser priced Playtex bra. I am paying the price for having a naturally large chest!

Goddess Response: The bra specialist is absolutely right: You should always adjust your breast tissue into the cups (please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit). This is the first time I’ve heard of the top cup shredding, how unusual… Susan from Houston TX

The bra is lovely. However, it does not fit, especially around my rib cage. I don't know if I mis-measured, or what happened. But, I gave it a good try, including removing the tags. I can't wear it now. I'm hoping to be able to wear it after I love more weight. An expensive mistake on my part. I don't think I will order from your site again. :(

Goddess Response: Any bra, no matter how many wonderful features it has won’t be comfortable if it’s the wrong size. (Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit for help in determining your correct size). Diane from Austin, TX, USA

This was to be a replacement for the discontinued "Goddess Soft Touch Bra 304." This is NO replacement. It doesn't provide anywhere near the support of the previous one. I was really excited to order it and really disappointed once I got it.

Goddess Response: 6093 is a wonderfully supportive bra if you’re in the correct size. I would recommend going down in the band and up in the cup several sizes for more lift and support. Janet from MI

I ordered 2 different bras in my search to replace my old favorite, but discontinued Goddess bra. The Aviana wins out hands down. This bra is very stiff, does not wash well, and if I hadn't worn and washed it I would return it for a refund. It will go into my drawer for emergency use only. The only positive thing I can say about this bra is it does offer great support and for a large busted gal like me, that's important. Judy from Gainesville FL

This isn't true to size. I would need the next band size up. I am not a full B cup so I can't speak to the cup size. I had a lot of room left. The band was super tight and I couldn't breathe. It fit but was uncomfortable. I returned it. The color was pretty. I normally wear Bali 4820 in 48b and that fits great and is relaxed for a non wire bra. I would try this in a larger size to see if the band wasn't so tight because it had larger sides.

Goddess Response: Goddess bras are designed to give you a very specific custom fit. In order to accomplish this our bands have a bit more “guts” (they’re firmer) than some of the other brands, and we use non-stretch cups. These features work together to give you the ultimate in lift and support. You might end up being a different size than in other brands, that’s why it’s so important to be flexible about your size, as all brands do not fit the same. If the band felt too tight, just go up a band size to a 50B (this style goes up to a 56- band!) Be sure to “swoop and scoop” all of your breast tissue forward into the cups for that perfect fit. Instead of the breast tissue sitting under the band at the sides, you’ll find you’re filling the cup instead. Your silhouette will look longer, leaner and more defined. Amanda from MICHIGAN

I know that "Goddess" specializes in the larger sizes. Using the very appreciated sizing scale on the left side of the "Her Room" list, I picked 4 bras which all should have fit "short" "big busted" women...I'm going to have to return all 4 and its very frustrating. On this one, the side bones (I think they're called) came way high and would have hit my armpits unless I worked to get them taken out. I do like the material which is soft and silky unlike the "lace" styles. This one MIGHT have worked except for the side boning and on any bra I bought I read the customer reviews as well as the fitter's reviews, to check height of side bones etc.....so not sure why this did not fit as it should have.

Goddess Response: If you have a “short upper torso”, we would ordinarily recommend a soft cup bra as very often under-wires dig into the soft flesh under the arm. In fact I’d probably have suggested this very bra to you myself. It might be that you’re wearing the band too high around the torso, which could be bringing the side bones way up into the armpit. It’s important to make sure the band is snug enough to stay parallel to the floor, straight across the body. It could simply be that you need to go down in the band and up in the cup to stabilize the band and keep it from riding up. We use side boning in our soft cup bras to help anchor and support the breasts, and also to keep the band from rolling into a thin strip which can dig, and would be horribly uncomfortable.
