Excellent support. Bought for work. Goddess bras have always perform. Work horse of bras. I only wear Goddess and Prima Donna Deauville (2.5x the price but prettier.) These are the 2 most supportive bras.. worked when I was 25 & still great at 59 Amy from Colorado Springs, CO US

I'm about a 42G in European size. I prefer the underwire as it gives me the support I need. With narrow shoulder the straps do not fall which I have really felt uncomfortable always correcting it. Great comfortable bra for me! Joann

This bra was ok for the first 2 months. Then the hooks in the back just broke out of no where. I even bought 2 and the same thing happened. What a waist of money. I would not recommend this bra.

HerRoom Response: IT sounds like you might need to go up a band size. There is too much stress being applied to your band. We are not aware of any issue like this happening with this very popular style. Agnes from Moreno Valley ca USA

I have a wider and lower set bust, which can lead to loose fabric on the top of the cup on other bras, but the wide-set straps and the top covering makes for a perfect fit. The band is a little rough under the cups but overall a great choice! Elizabeth from Minneapolis
  • Height: Tall (5'9" and over)

way, way too small. I ordered a size bigger and the band was still tight and I don't even want to talk about the cups! It was so small and tight it looked like I had cut my breasts in half!

HerRoom Response: All your comments point to being in the wrong size. You are also petite in height. This is a full coverage bra so is too much bra for your smaller frame. Look for a bra with a more paired down frame. Our "measured" image will help to show you how much coverage the bra has. Trina from Kentucky

True to size and great support! It's incredibly hard for me to find a bra that seems like it fits right, but this does the best I've found. This is the bra you want if you have a large bust. Fits true to size. Make sure you get a professional bra fitting from at least locations if you have to purchase your bras online. Full disclosure: my weight fluctuated due to a medical condition by the time my bra arrived in the mail. I have to use a bra hook extender and adjust the straps. Cups still good. I did not want to deal with sending it back for an exchange when this worked fine. Also, I need a medical procedure so I figured the swelling will be gone and the bra will fit as is. The only thing I don't like is that Her Room does not offer expedited shipping. Tausha from North Carolina

This has been my everyday bra for years. It’s very difficult finding a supportive, comfortable bra in my size, and this is as close as I’ve come to the perfect bra. The only complaint I have is that it is not as durable and long lasting as I would prefer. I’ve had the underwire poke through on several that I’d had for less than a year. Be very careful with washing or drying this in a machine. Samantha from USA

This is a very good bra, perfect for daily wear, with one warning. The stays in this bra are not as stable as in other Goddess bras. I have had the bra for less than a month and it is already poking me under the arms. I love Goddess brand bras because they are supportive and pretty, but I don't like being stuck in the armpit by stays. Lynn from Channelview

For more well endowed ladies, the support takes the pressure off your shoulders and it shapes very nicely. My only wish is that it was in a smooth fabric. That would make it heavenly. This is my first time purchasing from this company and honestly, I could give more stars if possible. This bra has wires and I thought I would be in pain for a couple of weeks before the bra would feel comfortable, but oh was I wrong. This bra is so comfortable. My breast are high(exactly how they should be), and I don't even have to adjust the straps for the bra to sit up. I would definitely recommend this site to buy bra. Even though I wash in cold water on a delicate cycle (front-loader) and line dry, they wear out. The Alice underwire is comfortable, and keeps everything tidy and out of the way. Please, Goddess, NEVER stop making these in my size! Louanne from Green Bay, WI

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Goddess. I am a VERY heavy chested/breasted woman and I had struggled for years trying to find the right bra. I started ordering from HerRoom years ago and order 3-4 bras at a time. The last time I ordered was 2013 because the Goddess bra fits me extremely well and lasted me almost 4 years! I cannot say enough good things about Goddess or HerRoom!!! I won't shop anywhere else. Pros: Durable fabric Cons: Tall underwires, Extreme full coverage. Underwire poked out in the center of my chest and dug into my tummy when I sat (I'm short waisted so most do this). Also hid ALL of my cleavage and visible with most tops. Possible limited use with high neckline tops.

Goddess Response: We suggest trying Keira GD6090 because it has less top coverage. Dee from North Carolina

I like the design but I think I bought too small of a size. Very itchy fabric and too tight on my back.

Goddess Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. We suggest checking out HerRoom's Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Very often, bras need to be washed after initial purchase to soften the fabric. Carmen from Troy,MI

I have ordered this bra before from other suppliers. This particular one was inches shorter around the chest than the others.

The material used is not the same quality it used to be. Underwire padding is not good.

Goddess Response: Lucille, as far as I'm aware Goddess is using the same fabrication we've always used. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable in a wire-free bra. Alice GD6041 is also available in a wire-free version, (GD6040). Some more soft cup choices are Clara (GD6633) which is built on the same frame as Alice, and Audrey (GD6121) which is our most supportive soft cup bra, and features a movable sliding pad on the straps for extra cushioning and comfort. I bought this bra in nude. I really like this bra, but it does not fit true to size in 48G. I compared it to the Goddess GD6161 (which I bought at the same time and DOES fit true to size) and the Alice GD6041 is actually about 3 inches shorter in the band when held up side by side! I managed to squeeze into it to test the fit on everything else. It definitely supports and separates! I was very impressed by that! However, I'm not too crazy about the extra material across the top. It does not lay flat even though I filled out the cups completely. It did help a little in tightening the shoulder strap and it wasn't that noticeable under clothing...even though it really does come up a tad higher than I'd like. However, because I liked the support it gave, I am going to exchange this one for another that is a couple inches bigger in the band. Miranda from Huntsville/AL/USA

This bra fits wonderfully! I haven't had a bra to actually give me full cup coverage in a long time because I had been ordering the wrong size! My preferred brand only went up to a G, so I stayed there for a long time. Anyway, this bra is comfortable and not too high on the sides. The only downside is I have a high tummy and the lace of it starts to rub and irritate my skin towards the end of the day. I will look for something similar but with a smoother material. The sides come up too high to my armpits on both the wire and the front sides. Cuts into me when I move my arms towards each other even slightly like typing at a computer. I know its the right size cause my breasts actually point forward instead of slightly down like a size smaller and I'm not bulging out of the cups with certain movements.

Goddess Response: GD6041 is our most supportive, fullest coverage bra. You might want to try Clara, GD6630, which is built on the same frame, but runs just a tad smaller. Clara might be much more comfortable under the arm for you. Audri from Garland, TX USA

I bought the Goddess Alice bra with my fingers crossed. I have had so much trouble in the past finding a supportive, good fitting, and comfortable bra, I was dubious. This was absolutely the best bra I have ever had in all my 60 plus years!!! I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the underwire comes up under the arms just a bit too high, but I found that I can easily fix that by pulling the back of the bra downward. Despite trying hard, could not get a cup size that fit well. Tried three different times using universal cup sizing and following measuring guides. (These same measurements/size work fine with other brands like elomi.) There was too much fabric on the outside of the cups. Gave up after three tries. I may just be shaped odd. Sad because I liked the sturdy construction. Think it would have been good support.

Goddess Response: If you like the frame of GD6041, you might want to try Clara Banded Underwire Bra GD6630 as another option. Clara features the same frame as GD6041 in a different fabrication, and provides the same level of support. The fit nuances of Clara might just work perfectly for you. Goddess Response: GD6041 is one of the most supportive, fullest bras we make. Perhaps our Keira Banded Underwire Bra GD6090 would be more comfortable for you. Keira isn’t as full coverage as 6041, and the under-wires won’t come up as high under the arm. Patti from Snoqualmie

Apparently Goddess bras aren't made for my body type. The underwire hurts my upper arm and the cups spread my girls far apart. This bra is very supportive! I'm wearing it for everyday use. The universal cup size on herroom is the best! I've never been able to order bras the way I have since finding this site!! My only complaint about the bra would be how high the wire's between the breasts go. This is the second time ordering this bra. I went with the size chart and only got an L cup and should have stayed with the M cup I had last time as the cup is a bit small. These are great bras minus the underwire which I remove as it hits right in the middle of my armpit and digs in painfully. Once the underwire is gone its fairly comfortable and I will say my last one lasted a good long time so I was happy enough to purchase it again. Genny from MI

This bra fits well, however it burns at the site of the underwire so you want to immediately take it off as soon as possible. In addition, the wires on the side poke out, causing discomfort in that area as well.

Goddess Response: Hi Nelly. Very often it’s the size, not the style of the bra that causes discomfort. The wires poking out on the sides could mean you’re not adjusting your breast tissue into the cups properly – all of the breast tissue should be placed into the cups in front of the underwire by “swooping and scooping” the breast tissue from the back to the front into the cups. Please refer to Tomima’s very detailed fitting tips and videos to help you. You might also want to try our Clara Banded Underwire Bra, which is built on the same frame as GD6041, but the fabrication is a silky simplex, not a lace, which you might find more comfortable. This a well-fitting bra for those who need the support. At a 38L, I need the support for tissue that has lost its battle with gravity. The first time I wore this, my sister asked if I had lost weight. Well, I ordered three more just like it. A bra that fits and supports correctly only improves your appearance. This bra is cut to support and direct tissue forward rather than pushing it to the sides which only makes you look wider. Who wants that? Yes, the fabric is a bit scratchy at first, but after a washing or two, it softens considerably. For those that think the cups are pointy, you should know that the cups will also relax a bit to adjust to your own shape. No one has perfectly round breasts unless they have implants. The only downside to this bra is that the texture of the lace can show through thin fabric so if you like the style but need a slightly different fabrication under fine knits, try the Goddess Clara which is the same style but has smooth fabric cups. Same great fit with enough hooks to keep the bra from shifting out of place. Skimpy bras with only 2 or 3 hooks just cannot support heavier tissue. I would rather have 4 or even 5 hooks and know that my bra will stay put. Kathy from Bowling Green, KY

The search for bras that fit and don't hurt brought my little girl often to tears because they are hard to find in her size and she is only 17 now. But finally she found this one and it fits very weil and she has much less backpain. I myself am only an average B-cup so I can not imagine how much she suffered the last 4 years, she than had already a G-cup bra 4 years ago. For now she is so happy and me also off course for her. This is the first bra I bought off of HerRoom. The first size I got was 42N, which--to my pleasant surprise--was too big for me! Doesn't happen often haha. So I tried to guestimate my bra size again, and got 42K. After trying this one on, I think I'm closer to a 44K, but it still fits so I kept it. It fits really well, though the band is tight on me (hence why I'll probably get 44 bands from now on.) Probably the second bra in the last five years that has properly fitted me (no quad-boob or side-boob etc.) Alle from omaha

My Goddess (style 106) was discontinued so I tried this one as a replacement. I ordered the same size, but it was too small! Also, it was not as full cut under the arms as I expected. I think this "full" cut bra should not have elastic shoulder straps; it compromises the support. Linda

I took a chance with the some of the negative reviews and they were right... it was extremely stiff, scratchy and rough. Oh well!

Goddess Response: Lena, have you tried laundering the bra in a mild detergent, and then soaking it in fabric softener for a while? You might find this will soften it up very nicely. If you love the style –but not the fabrication –perhaps try Clara Banded Underwire Bra GD6630 which is built on the same frame as GD6041: Instead of lace, the fabrication of Clara is a silky-smooth simplex, not at all scratchy or rough! I really like this bra. My breasts are very large and HEAVY! This bra "holds them up" where they belong. It also separates the breasts nicely which is more comfortable and more attractive looking. Very beautiful looking bra for limited choices for someone my size. Some may find the bra is stiff at first but it does soften up nicely within 1-2 washes. One aspect I really love is the straps do not slip down. Which is a problem I've had with every other bra I've ever owned even when I was a much smaller size. Improvements I would suggest is to make a style like this with the option of having the center come a bit lower. With some dresses and v-neck shirts the top of the bra shows. It would be lovely if this company would make even larger cup size choices. Also there are so limited choices for someone my size to have more out there would be nice, especially larger nursing bra sizes. (I had ordered a 48 instead of 46 this time and it feels no different in size, also would have been nice if it came in a M size.) Amanda from Wausau/WI/US

I am so excited to have a bra that finally fits. I love this bra! I was wearing a 38DDD because I needed the cup bigger. Of course it was the wrong band size. I had ordered from you a few other times but kept getting the wrong size. I couldn't believe I needed a 36I but I do. I also ordered another Goddess bra, style GD6090 in a size 36J and it also fits but doesn't cover as well. I do love them both and will order again. I have told several people about Her Room. I work in a plus size women's store and do bra fits. So many women are frustrated because they can't find their size. Well I have been telling them to get on your website. Nicely made but the VERY large side panels made the cups a bit loose. If the side panel was smaller it would hold the breasts more forward and not allow them to slip to the side. I returned this item because of this.

Goddess Response: Perhaps give our Keira Banded Underwire Bra GD6090 a try. The overall coverage is less, and the cups aren’t as full as GD6041. The fit of Keira might be more suitable for your body type. J.Thomas from Oregon

I really like this bra. I found that the cup size is slightly big, but going down a size it would be too small. The band size is a perfect fit. It has the best lift and separation I have ever seen in a bra for my size. I was worried about it being underwire from previous history, but surprisingly the underwire is very comfortable! Finally, a bra that fits for the most part. Wish the upper part of the cup was higher so that no bulges appear. I like to be "high" and probably have the straps too tight in order to achieve the height I want. Guess you can't expect to be "perky" when you are almost 70. Otherwise, a great bra. I used to wear only Godddess when they had the straps that adjusted in the front. Manufacturers need to realize that there are a lot of older women that need adjustments to be in the front. This bra nearly brought me to tears, for a good reason...IT FIT!!! The only reason I can't give it a five star is because the wire in the center still sticks out just slightly but that could also be due to the shape of my breasts. I love the little bit of extra fabric at the top that keeps me totally covered and assures me there will be no spilling over. It fits just like the picture shows and I'm OK with that because I rarely wear deep v-neck shirts anyways. I've just found a new love!! It is a bit stiff in the beginning, but after some wear and washes the material softens up a bit. It has great coverage which I need. High front stops spilling over the top or the dreaded uni-boob. High armpits keep your boobs forward. I do have to wear a silicon "Under the bra strap holder in placer" thing to prevent strap dig in on my shoulder because the straps tend to twist and get rolled up (no longer lay flat) as they get stretched out with all day wear. But this is only because I have so much to hold up. May not affect smaller cup sizes. Over all, love it and have been a repeat customer with this style. Coleen from MN

I have very full breasts. It can be difficult to find a bra that will keep them from puckering up. Most recently I've been wearing size 36HH but was needing to go up a cup size. 36I was too small so I've since ordered the 36J. I love it and the support is awesome. The down sides are that it goes pretty high so it sticks out of shirts sometimes. And I wish that little extra piece on top laid in instead of up, if that makes any sense. Allison from Brighton, CO

This bra has absolutely no support in the bra - and with elastic straps, forget it!

Goddess Response: Very often it’s the size, not the style which causes the problem. Even the best bra in the world can’t do the job it’s designed to do if it’s worn in an incorrect size. Most of the support should come from the “body” of the bra, not the straps. The fact that you’re relying so much on your straps for support tells me you’re most likely in the wrong size. Generally speaking going up in the cups one or even several sizes, and then down in the band usually solves the problem. (Please refer to HerRoom's Bra Fitting Page for sizing and fit help.) The straps on GD6041 are limited stretch, and this style is designed to comfortably support a D11 cup! However, if you prefer rigid straps and a bra with maximum support and control, please try our fabulous new bra, Goddess Audrey Soft Cup Bra GD6121. Audrey features soft rigid straps with a movable padded strap cushion for complete motion control. Lynda from Danville, CA

The positives: Supportive, well fitting, comfortable, true to size The negative: Torpedo boobs, material will show through clothing I am returning this due to the shape it creates. It brings everything to a sort of point and I much prefer a smooth, natural, round shape. It is worth trying though---some may find that they like the shape it offers. Well made, and it seems sturdy enought to stand the test of time.

Goddess Response: Perhaps cross over to our sister brand Elomi for lots of options in a seam-free, totally smooth bra. If you’re looking for a basic style take a peek at elomi Smoothing Seamfree Underwire Bra EL3911. Our elomi Nala Underwire Moulded Bra EL8710 adds a touch of fashion with a subtle nude leopard print, and the elomi Hermione Underwire Bandless Molded Bra EL8120 is a gorgeous spacer fabric bra (light as air and so comfy!) Love the bra! Keeps the girls in! Only thing is you can't wear a low cut top with it cause the top of the bra shows. Other than that it's wonderful! I've had a problem with other bras that the straps fall down but not with this one! And no spillage over! It's not smooth though so if you wear a t-shirt, be aware that you are going to see the bumps of the pattern underneath. I'm good though, very happy! And a great price too! Rosemarie from NJ

Close to fitting but too loose at the top. Very nice bra.

Goddess Response: We’re so happy you like this style, it’s one of our very favorites as well. If you’re finding the cups are too loose on the top, it generally means the cups are too big, so just go down a cup size (34D4), and problem solved! Beachhat

Love the sports Energise bra, but this has little support for the girls. This one does nothing for an older woman.

Goddess Response: God6041 is constructed on the same frame as our elomi Energise Underwire Sports Bra EL8040 sports bra, so you should be experiencing the same fabulous “uplifting” results with this style. Very often we find if you go down in the band and up in the cup, the bra will give you a firmer, more stable support: Please try a 36D6. Donna from Picayune,MS

My immediate thoughts were this is a great bra. However, after only a couple of hours of wear I experienced horrible pain and redness. This was a bra that was recommended after using the right bra for me questionnaire. I am extremely disappointed.

Goddess Response: It’s difficult to comment as you don’t say exactly where you experienced the pain and redness, but very often it’s the size not the style which is the problem. If the cups are too small, and the under-wire is digging into breast tissue, the pain can be excruciating. If however, the bra is too big, it can move around the torso rubbing the sensitive skin and creating friction –so uncomfortable! It’s essential to be in the right size, so that the bra can do its job (support the breast tissue) and most importantly, do it in comfort! It hugs my body perfectly and I can't wait to buy more of these in other colors. This is a great bra for full-figured ladies ~ highly recommended! Sammie from Poughkeepsie, NY, USA

This is the best bra ever !!!! I have been wearing bras since I was 12 and never have I had such sucess with a bra. I would recommend this bra to any larger busted gal who is looking for supprrt and comfort. Size is the key so make sure you follow the measuring guide. After all they say 85% of women are wearing the wrong size. Don't let numbers or letters freak you out. Use the guide and feel so much better about yourself. Leslie from Arizona

Good support, pretty bra. I found the underwires on the side supports a little long, that is, they dig into my sides a little, but otherwise this is a good bra especially at the price. Straps stay put, cups give excellent all-day support without discomfort. Kai from Portland, OR

This bra had a horrible fit. The shape of the cups was almost elliptical... and elastic straps?? Really? On a bra this size?? SKINNY elastic straps???

Goddess Response: Usually it’s the size, and not the style which causes the problem. By your description it certainly sounds like the cups are too small for you (which would explain that ‘elliptical’ shape you’re experiencing). GD6041 offers cup sizes to Universal Cup Size D11, so plenty of sizes to choose from to find your perfect fit. Most of the support of the bra should come from the “body” of the bra, not the straps. Goddess uses limited stretch straps for support, which also allow for ease of movement. Lynda from Danville, CA

I returned this bra (which returns with HerRoom are super easy and fast!) It was a bit too long for my short body, and poked my armpits.

Goddess Response: GD6041 is one of our bras that provides the fullest coverage. For a bra that won’t come up as high under the arms, and for a bit less coverage, try Goddess Keira Banded Underwire Bra GD6090 or Goddess Rose Banded Underwire Bra GD6080. Janice from UT

It only took 5 years, but I have found the perfect bra! This bra is an awesome fit, doesn't even feel like you have an underwire on. Great support, no spillage and no 3rd breast! There were some comments regarding the front panels coming up too high, but I feel that it helps keep the girls in place and prevents spillage. It is a tight for the first couple wears, but loosens more as you wear and wash. An awesome bra for those who need support. MJ from Anchorage,AK

This is my fourth "Goddess Alice" bra. It is extremely supportive and comfortable all day. At first it is a little stiff, but after a while it softens up. It comes up high under the arms, but the side support is important. It also actually lifts and separates just as it should. I also have narrow shoulders, and I'm not having to fix my straps all day. I require major support, and this bra does it. I was also first fitted into this bra at a specialty bra shop and have continued to purchase this style online. Marell from Magnolia, TX USA

I ordered up a cup size, and it didn't come close to covering my breast. It was awful. I sent it back.

Goddess Response: Lynda, if you’ve been accustomed to wearing bras with stretchy cups, you’ll find the fit of a firmer cup with seams to be very different. Goddess uses a more rigid fabrication –for super lift, shaping and support –giving you a real “custom” fit. As you know, all brands fit differently, so it’s important to be flexible about your size. Don’t be afraid to go up in the cup for that perfect fit. Alice is offered up to Universal Cup Size D11 cup, so you have plenty of cup sizes to choose from! Lynda from Danville, CA

This bra has the wire go all the way up between your breasts, which I find I need to keep the girls separated. The extra fabric above that seems like it should provide more support or something just pulled away from my chest and would not lay flat. It would pull the cup away as well. Plus the fabric was really scratchy I don't know if washing would have made it better but I think it would have take several washings if it did. If this bra had a better fit I would recommend it to others. I want to note that I am generally hard to fit for a bra, so this might work for you if you generally find bras that fit.

Goddess Response: Jeannie, if the fabric is pulling away from your chest it suggests that the cups are slightly too small for you. In other words, too much breast tissue is being crammed into a cup that doesn’t have enough room for it. We recommend you go up a cup and try Universal Cup Size 36D11 in this style. As for the scratchiness, we find that soaking the bra in fabric softener for a while usually solves the problem. Jeannie from Denver, CO USA

The neckline on this bra is so high that it shows underneath my clothing. It is so high, I literally feel like I am choking. I looked at the pictures showing how this bra would look under various types of clothing, and it is much higher than the pictures show. The band size is exactly what my measurements said I should get. The cup size is probably two sizes too big.

Goddess Response: This style offers a higher neckline to minimize bounce, and fully contain the breast tissue. If the cups are two sizes too big, it will add to the height of the neckline. If you ordered your correct cup size, the neckline would be lower. We recommend our Goddess Keira Banded Underwire Bra GD6090 for a lower décolleté, and a sexy glamorous look! Brenda

I love these bras. It is hard to find a bra with large cups that don't point my boobs in opposite directions or push them under my arms. These bras keep them up front and looking perky. My only wish would be that Goddess would make bras that come in a size smaller than a 34. I'd love to find a Goddess in a 32 g. As for now, these are the best bras I've found for my small frame and ample bosom.

I haven't worn an underwire bra in years. This bra is very comfortable once you wear it a few times. I don't have any problems with the wire digging into my skin. Although this bra is not considered a minimizer, it does take some inches off your profile. I have been able to wear shirts that I was not able to after child birth in which I gained a few cups. I am disappointed in the fit of this bra. The cup fits great however, the wire is brutal! Not comfortable at all. The wire tends to dig into my skin, leaving red marks. I have yet to find a bra that I absolutely love. Unfortunately I am forced to shop online as local retail stores do not sell bras in my size. So, it will continue to be trial and error to find the right fit for me.

Goddess Response: There could be several reasons for the wires being so uncomfortable for you; or it could just be that you’re in an incorrect size. Very often it’s the size not the style which is the problem. It might also be you’re not positioning your breast tissue into the cups properly. Make sure you’re “swooping and scooping” all of your breast tissue from the back to the front into the cups. The under-wire should surround the breast tissue and sit behind the tissue, on bone. This will make all the difference in how your bra fits, and most of all how comfortable it is! When the under-wire rests on breast tissue, it can be very painful indeed! It could also be that you simply can’t wear a bra with an under-wire. You might want to try this style in our wire-free version Goddess Alice bra 6040 . Please refer To Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit to help guide you. Disappointed

This is a very pretty bra and I was excited to get it. However I made the most common mistake women make: the band size was too big and the cup size too small. Information indicated this bra replaced Goddess 601. The straps on 601 were non stretch and the bra had four hooks for great support. This bra has three hooks and stretch straps. These are two very important features for me.

Goddess Response: Goddess 6041 is one of our all-time customer faves, designed for maximum support and stability. Most of the support should come from the “body” of the bra, and not from the straps: This means a nice firm band (like a snug hug) and cups that are big enough to contain all of the breast tissue. Also, it’s important that the center gore (the middle piece between the cups) should be right up against the chest wall. All of these things working together will provide that “custom fit” and firm support. In order for a bra to do it’s job and support the breast tissue, it must be worn in the correct size. Sending it back because it does not fit (cups are too big, though I wear the same size in another style Goddess bra). However, I decided not to try a different size because I didn't especially like the high cut in the front (will show under some tank tops), and also because the back elastic appeared to be about the same as my current bra, and not stronger as I had hoped it would be. No complaints about the quality or construction, just not the bra for me. Carol

This gets a 5-star rating because it's the first bra I've ever purchased, either locally or online, that actually fit! When someone has large, heavy breasts, it's very difficult to find a bra with a large enough size to accommodate everything. This one does. The straps are comfortable for all day wear because of the way this bra is made evenly support the weight. If you're a large size and looking for a good underwire, this is the one. The only negative I can give is that it doesn't come in more of a color choice. Large-busted woman also like pretty, sexy bras---reds, blacks, print. Not fair to only make them for smaller busted woman. Jackie from Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Although not available in my size (38M) I decided to try this bra for additional support when exercising or other strenuous activities. Being very full and heavy breasted has always presented challenges regarding bounce and support. While a bit snug, this bra is wonderful! The additional fourth hook secures the bra band with no ride-up. I only gave it four stars simply because of the seams showing through knits and not being available in an "M" cup size. Not meant to be worn under deeper v-neck tops as the top of the cups tend to show. The fabric in the cups is firm yet very comfortable. Another Great Goddess bra that does the job for this buxom gal! Ordered black in this bra. It's well-made and pretty, but a little scratchy where the underwire is. I'm just grateful for the "I" cup. I do recommend the Goddess bra line - this is my third bra and I plan on ordering more. When one has large, heavy breasts, one needs a bra that lifts and supports. This one does that. I have another bra sized 36I (different manufacturer) and I 'm feeling a little squeezed in this 36I so I will order a 38 for this product next time but this bra is very supportive and well constructed. I will be ordering another one-the back of the bra is wide and has the extra hooks. The straps over the shoulders could be wider and then it would be a 5 star. Trish from Portland, OR, USA

I really need to be fitted I guess. The wires don't lie against my chest. If I get one of these that would fit snug around me then I can't turn it around after fastening it in the front. (I can't fasten a bra in the back.) My boobs start falling out the bottom under the underwires. (you guessed it, not in shape at all) Other than that it is ok. My shoulders are getting a rest somewhat. I would prefer something that was a little bit lower in the front because it looks funny under my tops to see them so separated. Just not used to this.

Goddess Response: If your breasts are falling out of the bottom of the cup the band is too big. If it is not “tacking” in the center gore in the front of the bra the cup is too small. You could be a 42K or L cup depending on how small the cup was. Try the smaller band…you might even be a 40 band in which case you would be a M cup which we do not offer in this style. Terri from Lake Charles, La

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST BRA I have ever purchased HANDS DOWN!!!! My girls are lifted w/superior comfortable support. I have sublime separation. I feel much more secure and empowered in my clothes. This bra makes me feel sexy, My sister noticed I was wearing a new bra w/o me even telling her, we were in the grocery store the other day I kid You not, in the canned food section and she says.."I JUSTABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR NEW BRA, YOUR LIFT IS INCREDIBLE"!!!! My breasts are up and not rolled to the side like a lot of other plus size bras~We were at church last Sunday....we walk around and fellowship at the end of the service...and my aunt who never has much of anything to say looks at me and says..."boy you're really blessed in the chest, I wish I had some"!!! She has never said that to me in the eight years I've been going there....this bra rocks! I looked at her and smiled and said..well auntie, you're standing here at the altar, be careful what you ask for!!!!! You will see a pleasant difference in how you look in your clothes w/this bra! Most comfortable underwire I have ever had. The fit is similar to Elomi's Caitlin but it is softer and easier to get on and off. I tried the Alice soft cup but returned it because side support is not as good for me. I now have a second Goddess Alice underwire. I also bought the #6090 - it offers less coverage but is comfortable so I will keep it too. There is nowhere in my area to buy or try on Goddess, so I had to experiment a bit with the fit. HerRoom makes returns easy but in this case, they are slow in processing the credit to my card. My orders were filled and received promptly with the normal free shipping. This bra is fantastic! I feel like my breasts are finally where they're supposed to be. I really like the extra band along the top because it provides cleavage control. This bra isn't like a lot of others that just shove my chest into my armpits to get it out of the way. It actually supports and has a very nice shape, while still somehow minimizing. The underwire does poke me under my armpits, so I'm very ready to get it off at the end of the day. That is my only complaint about this bra, and I am extremely happy with it otherwise. I've endured more with other bras that offered less support and gave me Madonna cones. I highly recommend this bra for any other large-chested women who want strong support and great shape. When the Glamorise style I'd worn for a decade was discontinued, I despaired, but I ordered about a dozen styles to try and found this one. Perfect! Very comfortable and very sturdy and well made. I'd had a Goddess bra in the past that didn't hold up well, but this is high quality. It doesn't stretch out at all during the day, but it's all-day comfortable. I've ordered six of them! For me, the cups are perfect - the little bow in the middle sits right on my breastbone; the effect is rounded; and the coverage is complete - probably the first time I've found that in any bra. Another reviewer noted this bra is good for short-waisted women and I'm very short-waisted, so that may be relevant for others. Karen from Silver Spring, MD, USA

Finally, a bra that fits! In other brands, I wear a UK 34FF, but in this U.S. bra, I first tried a 34H & the cups were too big. Next, I ordered a 34G & it fits perfectly. Pros: Stiff cups for better support, centered straps that don't fall off of narrow shoulders like mine, restricted stretch straps for less bounce. Cons: The cups are a bit itchy. This is probably because the bra is new. I have found in the past that with 4 or 5 washings the cups become softer. I wish that Goddess made more styles in my 34 chest size. They do make a few soft cup bras, but I just don't get enough support out of soft cup bras. Most Goddess bras are chest size 36 or bigger unfortunately. Just because you have a smaller chest size doesn't mean that the girls are smaller too. Sharon from VA

As a large breasted women I find it hard to have lift and comfort in a bra. One is going to be done without and it was no different with this bra. I haven't worn an underwire in years because they are uncomfortable. The bra fits well, has proper lift, but under the arm is poking out and under the breast is pressing in. Ho hum

Goddess Response: 6041 is one of our very favorite bras! Before you give up on this style, please make sure you’re positioning yourself into the bra properly as this can make all the difference in how a bra fits and how comfortable it is. Love the fit of the in the morning but at the end of the day the wires dig into the flesh under the arms and I can't wait to get home to remove it! Too bad. I thought I had found the one to replace a previously discontinued Goddess bra

Goddess Response: Ideally your bra should be comfortable throughout the entire day! Unseen, it’s difficult to comment as there are so many “fit factors” involved. Not only style, and correct band and cup size, but even how you position yourself into the bra: Breast tissue in front of the under-wire, center gore tacking between the breasts, and the band tight enough that it doesn’t ride up your back… It bears repeating how vital it is to bring all of the breast tissue into the cup. This will make all the difference in how a bra fits, and most importantly how it feels! If all else fails, and you just can’t bear the thought of an under-wire, perhaps try our 6040, the soft cup version of 6041: Same wonderful support, without the under-wires. Anne-Marie from Texas

Good support but I find the band riding up my back. The bottom of the band is also curling. Perhaps I am not wearing the correct side. Product material is excellent.

Goddess Response: If the band is riding up your back, it’s a sure indication that the band is too big around. It’s the “body” of the bra that’s supporting the breasts; the straps are helping, but straps do not do the bulk of the work. In order to accomplish this, the band should be parallel to the floor and straight across the back, and should be snug enough to stay down Diane from USA

I bought this bra as it was recommended as a replacement for the Goddess 106, which I have worn and loved for many years. Sad to say, this was not a good replacement for me. The cups fit well in front, but the top underarm fabric was actually baggy. The underwire extends into the underarm area where my breast tissue does not exist, from the bottom of the breast and up into the armpit area. The 106 underwire correctly followed the contour under my breasts. This bra does not. (I have a normal size frame, but large breasts (36HH UK, 36L US, and yes, I did have the right size). If you have more breast tissue under the arms, this might be the bra for you. I will have to keep looking. Jocelyne from Canada

this was not the bra for me. the cups were too binding at the top causing spillover and the cups made my breast look strange. I am sure it is a good bra, just not the one for me.

Goddess Response: Very often it’s not so much the style but the size which can make the breasts look ‘strange’. From your description it sounds very much that the cups are too small. I’d suggest going up a cup size to a 46L in this style –it’ll make all the difference you’ll see. Mylynka from Texas

The band size was too small. I am trying to figure out what size to reorder it in. In the Panache Superbra I am in a 34JJ or K. I see the Goddess bras are now on sale; so, I may try another style also. Any help you can give is appreciated. Thanks.

Goddess Response: If you wear a 34JJ in Panache product, the equivalent size in Goddess would be a 34N. 6041 offers an L-cup which would be too small for you (if the cup is too small the band very often feels too tight). You might like Kiera 6090 which offers an N-cup but starts at a 36-band which would probably be too big for your torso. I suggest you try crossing over to our UK brands Fantasie, Freya or Elomi, all of which offer JJ- and K-cups. One of our very favorite bras is Caitlyn in our Elomi brand –very gorgeous and sooo supportive! You might have to experiment with size a bit, but I’d recommend a 34JJ to start. The Goddess 106 that they discontinued was the perfect bra for me and NOTHING else seems to fit. I've tried many, many bras, since that one is gone and nothing fits even close to good. I'm saving all the old 106's that I had and hope they hold up until I find one that is comparable. If anyone knows of one that may work, I would be so very, very, thankful. I don't know why they would discontinue such a wonderful bra. Maybe, I will have to check other brands.

Goddess Response: Unfortunately it’s difficult to advise you without more specific details. Most of our customers who were loyal 106 wearers are thrilled, and I daresay even happier with 6041, which leads me to believe it’s more about size than style. This could actually be the best bra in the world for you, but it will never work if you’re wearing it in the wrong size. I’d bet you’d fall in love with 6041 if you find the correct size! Very often, that will mean going down in the band and up in the cup for that perfect fit. Alexandra from California

Here in England I could not find full cup strong support bra with good shape. This bra is great it has all of these built into the bra and comfortable to wear no shoulder strap pressure, no pulling up at the back. Delivery to UK is quick if bra in stock. This bra is very stiff. Maybe it will feel better after a few washes, but it has pretty good support. Erica from Baltimore/MD/USA

I'm quite happy with the fit of the bra, however the under wire tends to cut in under the arms and I've not been able to get it so it doesn't bother me. Rachel from Manassas, VA, USA

Bra arrived yesterday. Excellent fit - exceptional lift and separation Very pleased. Normally wear the Wacoal minimizer and am delighted to find a full coverage supportive bra under $65. After wearing all day (my standard bra test) I will re-order. Sacramento Shopper from Sacramento CA

I love this bra! I have not said that about many bras in my life as I have an extremely difficult time getting a great fit. This bra was comfortable from the moment I put it on and stayed that way all day. It also gave me a great shape, not smashing my breasts under my arms nor making them too torpedo like. I typically wear a 32K in Panache bras, so this cup was a tad small but fits well enough. Great support, solid construction and a reasonable price. Also, I bought it in black and it is quiet flattering, not exactly sexy but nice looking. Love it!!! HerRoom staff, thanks for the great customer service. Angie from PT, WA

Nice bra but the area under the arms rub will wearing it. I have washed it a couple of times but not any better. I am of short stature and that may be the problem. The support is great and the wires lays flat against the chest. I'll keep looking, hopefully I can find one with that fit that doesn't irritate.

Goddesslnk Response:It sounds as if you might have what we term as a “short upper torso,” not much room from the bottom of the breast to the collar bone. Very often the back edge of the cups will come up too high on this figure type. Sometimes we’ll recommend a soft cup bra for comfort. Our Goddess 6040 is a great choice, it’s the soft cup version of the bra you have. If you prefer an under-wire bra, you might try going down in the cup so that the back edge doesn’t come up as high under the arm. Sometimes another style altogether will sit slightly differently on the body, which could also solve the problem. Goddess 6090 is a gorgeous satin simplex bra. It feels very silky against the skin and it has a sheer top cup to give a lighter more glamorous look. Susan from Poland, Ohio usa

When I first took this bra out of the package I thought it was huge!! But I gave it a try and I wore it all day and didn't have to adjust or tug at anything. Truly a side-supporting bra and I like the extra coverage at the top. It lifts up and out, no splaying to the sides. The only thing that would make it perfect is if they could make a bandless bottom for those of us who are endowed but petite in stature. Just ordered two more. Mary from NJ

Best Bra I have ever had as a grown woman. Great, wonderful support and gets even my girls up there while looking great. No huge cavern of separation and no artificial tilting or torpedoes! Good value too! I am going to order at least three more! Renee from Silver Spring, MD

Unfortunately this underwire bra did not fit despite following all the measurement and fitting recommendations provided. I am returning the bra. It was a beautifully designed and constructed bra, but it simply wasn't as comfortable as the other bras I purchased. Lula from NC

This is a pretty bra and I like that it is cut higher on the top of the bra but I need support more than anything and this bra does not give it. Stretchy straps give way too much bounce.

Goddess Response: It’s the body of the bra that should provide most of the support. It might be that you need to go down in the band and up in the cup for a more “custom” fit. AND this would make you less dependent on the straps for control. webshopperonly from AR

This bra gives the best support of any bra I have ever tried. I have been in PAIN for weeks due to being "fitted" by a "professional" fitter and being sold sexy, rather than supportive, bras. Although this review indicates 36G, the fitter's size recommendation, I am sending that bra back and already have a 38H from HerRoom. It is WONDERFUL! I look perky and my whole figure looks slimmer, now that I have a bra that lifts and truly supports. My mom told me I needed a "highly structured" bra, and the Alice sure is that, but amazingly comfortable. Andrea from New Orleans, Louisiana

I thought when I took it out of the package that I wouldn't like this bra because the fabric felt a little rough. But I wore it all day the first time, had no irritation or redness anywhere, not even at the shoulders or underarms. I am now in love with this bra, and the support is wonderful!! This is the best fitting bra I have ever had! The separation is awesome, and the wires sit flat against my chest wall. The lift and hold are fantastic, and there is no wobble when I walk. The straps are the most comfortable I have ever tried. It's very full coverage at the front, so I can't wear it under anything low cut, but I love it as an everyday bra. June from Boston, MA
