Quality of your products have changed. I have been a loyal customer for years. Just by handling the merchandise without opening I could tell it wasn't the same. The other bras that I've purchased in the past were top of the line these weren't.

Fits great! My only fault is how pointy it makes my breasts look. This may be purposeful but was not the look I was going for when buying.
HerRoom Response: A pointy breast shape could be the cup too large or you have not completely put all your breast tissue into the cups.

Beautiful bra but tried 2 different sizes and could not get a good fit.
HerRoom Response: A long line bra is a tricky fit because it not only needs to fit your bustline but also take into account your waistline. The manufacturer has to make proportion assumptions. We have many suggestions on this bra for adjusting your size for a better fit.

I've ordered this bra years ago. It's a great bra. Relieves pressure from my shoulders and my breasts are lifted. I asked for assistance from customer service, if I wear a 36G/H, could I fit A 36FF, the answer was YES. Well, it doesn't fit.
HerRoom Response: A 36G/H (D4) & (D5) would be your size if you are a Goddess36FF(D4). Longline bras also need to take into account if you have a tummy or shaped more pear or apple. Then, you need to move up at least one band size to get it to fit around your waist. You would move from a 36FF(D4) to a 38F(D3) or even to a 40DD(D2) if you have a significant waist.

Well ladies,This is a nice lace long line strapless bra that covers the whole breast.I where a 42ddd in a regular bra So, I took a chance and went up 1 size in the cup to a 44cup. I think I should have stayed with my 42 cup because there is room at the bottom of the cup.Far as the band it is perfect size,I order the FF the lace don’t stretch there are elastic panels on each side in the back. The thing that needs improving are the hooks and closers they are not heavy enough. But, overall well made with good support will stay up with out straps.SEXY Too Will buy another in white in 42 FF Love It

It was big around the stomach area not very sturdy
Goddess Response: It sounds like you may have ordered a size or two too big. If the cups fit you nicely, but the body of the garment lacked support, then we suggest sizing down in the band and going up in cup size. A 36 band and a DDD (D3) cup should give you a nice shape and more stability from your longline bra.

I order this bra because I could not find one in stores that fit right and actually covered my breasts. I am a 38DD so I ordered the 40DD per recommendation and it fits. Only problem I have is the cups are a little big and shaped funny, more pointy than round. But it definitely covers the whole breast, lifts them up, and slims the tummy like I wanted. So overall I'm happy with it.

as the site suggested, I went up a cup and band size. I had to return the item and go up another band size and down to my "normal" cup size. Fits beautifully and holds the girls up! My only complaint is that the lace pattern shows through light colored tops and the bra only comes in white. I have ordered another style to try in nude.

This bra fits really well and provides loads of support for a strapless style. I wear a lot of vintage and vintage inspired clothes, so the bullet shape is exactly what I was after. The subtle waist shaping is nice, too. The suggestion to go up in size was spot on. I am usually a 34 DD, and the 36 DD fits perfectly.

I needed this to wear under a corset for a wedding. It will need some of the bones removed but it fits well. I think the cup is a little big but a cup size smaller would be too small. It also has a kind of noticeable cone shape but I think I notice more than anyone else. Overall, it is a good strapless bra for bigger busts.

Fits perfect and holds everything in place breast wise. Only con is it pushes my love handles out the bottom so I have to wear with spandex. I am a bigger girl so i wasn't surprised by this. I got this for a bridesmaids dress for an upcoming wedding. I'm 5'8" and weigh around 200 pounds, wear a 38DDD. I haven't used it yet but I tried it on and it seems very comfortable. I like that it actually covers the whole breast, even up over the top. I don't really like strapless bras because my boobs end up bouncing around everywhere. The cups are kind of pointy...but it doesn't look pointy when I have a dress on. Corset part is very comfortable. Very excited to use it for the wedding!

I've been wearing this bra for almost a year now and I have to say, it's pretty good. I wear a lot of vintage styles, which are difficult to find undergarments for, and this bra has been a fashion-saver on a number of occasions.
The only reason this wasn't a 5-star product was because of the boning. It's extremely easy for it to poke through the fabric and stab you.

This bra is not what I expected. The cups on this bra give my breasts a cone shape, not a flattering look, or at least not the look I was going for. The waist fits snug but gives a beautiful shape which is the only reason I considered keeping it.
Goddess Response: We are sorry to hear you are not liking the cup shape of this bra. Remember when trying on any new bra it is important to scoop into the bra properly, put a t-shirt on, then judge your new silhouette. It is hard to see the full picture just by looking at yourself in the new bra.

This longline bra did an amazing job lending me the support that I so desperately needed as a plus-size woman. I am able to wear formals, halters and other tops and blouses that I had pushed to the back of my closet because I did not have adequate and supportive underwear. Now I am experiencing total freedom when it comes to wearing certain articles of clothing. The only thing that I do not like is the side staves stick me in the arms, which is uncomfortable after I've worn it for more than a few hours...

It is a beautifully constructed longline bra. The cup size was good but I should have taken into account that the area under my breast and my stomach matter when choosing a longline bra.

The bra works really well! It actually holds up my boobs which is always a plus for a strapless bra. The boning in the bra can be an issue depending on the fabric. the cups are a little pointy and has this madonna look. Overall I am pleased

In theory- this is an awesome bra, but I haven't gotten one that fits correctly yet. I reached out to HerRoom before I placed my order to confirm the sizing and was told that it is in line with current Lane Bryant/Cacique fit bras... so I ordered my standard LB size... it was a full cup and band size too large. I've returned the ones I originally purchased and am waiting for the exchange size currently. Hoping it fits the way it should!
Goddess Response: Amy, all brands fit differently depending on style and fabrication, so it's important to be flexible about your size. You'll most likely find you wear different sizes in different brands. If you found that the bra was a cup and band size too large, simply go down a cup and band size, and you should be good to go.

The longline is likely to slide down, it gives me the support I need for the girls, but also provides some midriff shaping. The lace is beautiful, really makes me feel special when I see myself in the mirror

Needed a larger band size than normal. Purchased for daughter who needed good support for dance team. Support is good but the cups have very high coverage across the top and I needed to literally cut them down.

I ordered as was instructed. The cup was a size smaller and the band up to the next size. I felt like the band should have been more snug. I think this also may be because I have lost weight. The cup size fit perfectly. It worked out fine under the gown that I wore.

Sizing is totally off.....cup size is much larger
Goddess Response: Pamela, it's difficult to help, as I don't know what styles you're accustomed to wearing. If the cup size is too big, simply go down a cup size. Remember all brands fit differently, so it's important to be flexible about your size. it's very common to wear different sizes in different styles, and sometimes it's just trial and error until you find your perfect size - very much like buying a pair of jeans.

I ordered this for a strapless bridesmaid dress I had to wear. I ordered down a cup size and up a band size. So I normally wear a 36DD, but for this I ordered a 38D. It fit perfectly and held me up nicely. I liked that I felt secure, which usually doesn't happen in a strapless.

I really wanted to love this bra but it is so hard to close! It's basically impossible to do it by yourself. I went with the other reviews and ordered a band size up and cup size down and it fit good in the band but the cups were still too big even after "swooping and scooping" so since the cup didn't fill up it makes my boobs look really pointy. Sadly it just doesn't fit in the bust and is really uncomfortable.
Goddess Response: Jen, if the cups are still too big for you, perhaps try a cup size down. Every Body is different, and a style may not fit your body the way it fits someone else, so sometimes it takes trial and error to find the perfect fit for you.

So, I took the suggestions of other reviews, and ordered a down a cup size and up a band size. Normally I wear 36C or 34D, so I ordered 38B. The cups were too big, and the band felt a bit loose for my taste. As all bodies are different, it's hard to suggest what others should order. I'll be returning, and either try the 36B, or try a different brand all together.
Goddess Response: Unfortunately, sometimes finding your perfect fit is good old fashioned trial and error. It sounds as if a 36B would be the ticket to success here.

I bought this to go under my wedding dress, unfortunately I could not wear it because the breast area came up to high. That's ok though because I have worn it with several other shirts and dresses since then...and LOVE it. The cup is too big so when I order it in black I will be going down to a C, hopefully that helps. It does have the "pointy" look which I am really not a fan of but I like the support and how comfortable it is. If I could get this bra with the round/smooth shape I would buy it in every color.

I was highly disappointed in this bra considering all the positive reviews it had. I was planning on using for a wedding I was standing up in. The cups looked like they would be too big, but I can't confirm that. I ordered my usual size and opted to bypass the recommendation for the bra extender since I didn't consider myself having "a tummy". I normally were a size 12/14 jean and either a large or medium shirt, depending on the cut and fabric. Yes, I have some curves, but consider myself a healthy weight and didn't think my slightly cushioned abs wouldn't be considered a "tummy." Apparently I was wrong. I had at least a 2 inch gap between the hooks when I attempted to try it on. I'm not even sure if the extender would have helped. Maybe it was sized wrong, but it's going back.
Goddess Response: We’re so sorry GD0689 didn’t work for you. This style has been in the Goddess family for many years, and the sizing is unique. I do think you would have had better luck if you’d followed the Tomima Tip of going up one - sometimes even two band sizes, and down the corresponding cup size. Our customers find that this usually provides a perfect fit.

The fit and the support is perfect. My only issue is the item isn't long enough on me. I have a long torso, and my problem area is the pouch I have under my belly button. This item stops right at my belly button, which creates an even worse pouch. I have to wear a waist trainer over this whenever I wear it.

This product was absolutely amazing!! I followed the advice from other comments and ordered a different size than I normally wear. I usually wear a 46DD and I ordered it in a 48D (add one band size, and decrease one cup size).Fit me like a glove! I have never been able to find a strapless bra that was comfortable enough to wear all day and all night and that actually have me great support! I wasn't sagging or spilling out at all! The only reason for 4 stars is that the cups did give me cone, straight out of the 80s, Madonna shape. It wasn't that big of a deal for me because the dress I was wearing helped to reshape them after I had put the bra on. But if you're planning on wearing a top that is flowy or has a lot of room I can guarantee that you'll end up with cones. I tried leaning over and scooping them into place as directed and it still didn't help with the cone issue. But overall this is a wonderful, amazing bra!!! I would definitely recommend!

I purchased an extender to go along with this and when the bra finally came the extender did not line up with the bra hooks. I got the bra on but for a full figured woman it did nothing it all. It did not have the support I was looking for. I was disappointed.
Goddess Response: Rose, it might be an idea to use more than one extender - lining them up next to each other, to make the band more comfortable. It might be you're not getting the support you need because your cups are too small. GD0689 has cups to a UCS D4, so you have two more cup sizes to try. Please refer to Tomima’s fabulous fit tips to help you find your perfect size.

I was so disappointed in this order. I needed a good strapless bra for an upcoming wedding. Now it's here and is nowhere even close to my fit. Another family member also ordered one and the size was equally as far off.
Goddess Response: We're so sorry this style didn't work for you. GD0689 is one of our classic styles, and it has it's own particular fit. We recommend going up in the band (one or two cup sizes, and then down in the cup the corresponding one or two cup sizes). Every brand fits differently, so it's important to be flexible about your size. Sometimes it takes good old fashioned "trial and error" to find the perfect fit in a particular style.

Pretty good corset! Make sure you measure a little above your waist and go exactly by that measurement. I am a 38G or H and I bought 42F. I probably could have gone even a cup size smaller. Also the corset really will hold in your waist, but if you are a plus size gal like me you will need shapewear for your hips for smoothing. The corset was perfect for my strapless gown!

I wanted to like it, but I can't. The band definitely runs very small. I wish I had paid attention to reviews about that. any shaping benefit was negated by the bulging over the too-tight edges. The cups were not too big for me, but the shape they gave me was awful. I'm not afraid of a bit of a retro look but this was straight-up grandma torpedo boob. I had to send it back.
Goddess Response: I’m so sorry GD689 didn’t work for you. As you’ve mentioned, we recommend going down a band size (sometimes two), and then up the corresponding cup size. If you’d ordered a band size up, and the band fit you correctly, the cups would also fit differently, and I’m sure you would be happier with the resulting shape. Alternatively, you might want to try Maria (EL8500) our strapless bra in Elomi, our sister company. Maria is a strapless bra, not a bustier. Many customers team this bra with a shaping garment which goes up to the waist for a completely smooth look. You’d wear a 36D3.

Cups run very large, order two sizes smaller. Order not your band size but the inches you are above your belly button.
Goddess Response: Your fit tip about the band is a really good one! We recommend going up a band size, (sometimes two band sizes, if you have a very full tummy), and then going down the corresponding cup size. Did you perhaps go up a band size, and not go down a cup? Also it’s so important to remember to “swoop and scoop” your breast tissue from the back to the front in front of the under-wire into the cups. You’ll find you’re taking the breast tissue out of your underarm area, and filling the cups where it belongs. Adjusting your breast tissue in this way will not only make the bra fit properly, it will make it much more comfortable to wear!

I wanted to love it. I bought it for a wedding I'm standing up in that I need a strapless bra for. I'm only a C cup, sometimes D, but I just hate strapless bras... So I want a sure thing when I have to wear it all day. For one thing, this bra is really hard to get on by yourself. It's got about 8 clips in the back and you can't just turn it around. That was a bummer. But when I finally got it on, my breasts looked so pointy. I couldn't do it; I had to send it back. If you don't mind the shape, than I think this bra would have held up with no problem all day and night! I just prefer to be more rounded.
Goddess Response: Maybe the reason you hate strapless bras is because you haven’t yet found the perfect one for you. Check out FL4530 in our Fantasie brand. The cups are completely smooth, and provide a gorgeous round, lifted silhouette. The band runs a bit snug, so perhaps try a 38B in this style.

My seamstress suggested I get the Godess bra for under my dress for my daughters wedding. After receiving it, to my dismay I was unable to wear it as when I tried it on at my last dress fitting the bra showed at the cleavage line of my dress. Also I was professionally measures for my bra and I ordered that size and there was excessive fabric in the cups. The little time I had it on it wasn't a smooth feeling.
Goddess Response: “Excessive fabric” in the cups suggests that perhaps you just need to go down in the cup (42C). This would also bring the height of the bra down in the front. We usually recommend going up in the band, and down a cup in this style. If you’re looking for a seam-free, absolutely smooth look in a strapless bra, perhaps try EL1230 in Elomi, our sister brand. I would recommend a 40DD in this style.

I searched forever in stores and online for a plus-size strapless longline bra for my bridal gown, and (as with ever hour-long, grueling bra fitting ughh) expected the result to be the wrong fit and prepared myself to return it long before I even received it. And let me tell you...I was WRONG. This bra is EXACTLY what I was desperately searching for!! I wear a 40F in Layne Byant sizes, so I followed the fit tip of ordering down a size in the cups (nervous--my cup usually runneth over) and up a size in the band (and I ain't afraid to eat, let me tell you) and the result is a perfect fit. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it does give you a little bit of the Marilyn Monroe cone action, but if you are wearing this with something structured like an evening gown or a wedding dress, the shape shouldn't be an issue. My busty bridal dreams are saved!!

I have never been able to wear a strapless bra since I have extra large bosoms. it is either too small and I have boob muffin top, or fits the boob but no support, and I'm floppin all over the place. I took my measurements and went by HerRoom sizing, that's the best way to go if you're unsure about your size, mine fits PERFECTLY. Full coverage, with support. I really wanted to love this bra after reading the reviews. I went up one size with the band and down a cup size as recommended by other reviewers. Perhaps my breasts sit higher on my chest, but I found this bra's cups sat extremely low. The cups themselves were outrageously large completely covering the tops of my breasts down to the bottom of my rib cage. My breasts were barely lifted from where they typically sit without a bra. The lace itself was scratchy as well and I felt would abrade my skin if wearing it for long periods of time. The bra did not provide any lift at all and all the shape came from the molded cups, which were an odd shape due to the stiff lace and boning. The one positive I can say for this bra is that like liked the long line. It was firm without being binding.
Goddess Response: Hi Jacqui. If you love a long line bra, perhaps try our Goddess Keira Longline Soft Cup Bra. You’ll get the light control, and added support of a longline bra, and the comfort of wire-free cups. We use an ultra- supportive satin simplex in the cups, which is oh so comfy! The band runs a bit full, so we recommend going down in the band, and up in the cup. (38DDD).

I love the length and comfort of this bra, however, the cup size is still too big. I normally wear a 40DD (dress size 20) and have tried this bra in 42D - not big enough around and cups way too big. I then tried it in 44C - fit around but cups still too big. I ordered the smallest cup size - 44B and the cups are STILL too big. How is that possible when my normal size is 40DD??
Goddess Response: Hi Kayce. GD0689 is part of our original “classic" Goddess collection, and has been a customer favorite for many years. This style has its own unique sizing, and we recommend going up one, or sometimes even two band sizes. It could be that you’re not “swooping and scooping” your breast tissue into the cups, and therefore it seems that the cups are too large. If you make sure to bring your breast tissue forward, from the back to the front, placing the breast tissue in front of the under-wire, into the cups, it changes the fit of the bra completely. You’ll find you’ve created more volume in the cups, and less volume in the band. Please refer to Tomima’s fabulous fitting tips and videos to help you.

I'm amazed that it fits! I ordered my usual size 34DDD and another in an alternate size 36DD (1 band size up, 1 cup size down, as recommended by other customers). The usual size did not close at all. The alternate size fit shockingly well! I have a curvy petite frame with a short torso, and the boning in this bustier fit me just fine. It leaves a smooth line around the waist rather than sticking out like a peplum at the hip, which is great. I highly recommend this over any other strapless bra for well-endowed ladies!

Goddess Response: GD689 is one of our classic styles, it has its own fan club, but it’s not for everyone. As with all bras it’s essential to be in the correct size! We recommend going up in the band one or two sizes, and then down in the cups for a perfect fit.

This bra truly is very supportive. I followed the directions and got the bra a band size bigger and cup size smaller (I'm a 34DDD). I'm 34-29-38 and short-waisted, and the bra fit perfectly lengthwise. It took a bit to get my breasts to conform to the cups properly, but only took some scooping and bending over. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the top of the bra sits very high on the chest, as it is a full figure bra, which creates an issue. I bought this bra to wear under my wedding dress, but it stuck out above the dress, and others I tried on as well. Still, it's worth having for any tops that have a higher neckline and you don't want to show your bra straps. Also gives you good posture!

Great product. My advice would be to follow the reviews-order a solid cup size down. I did not find it to be "Madonna" boobs, especially if you get the smaller cup so that you fill it out more. Plus, when wearing it with a form-fitting dress, it adds even more support and shape. I would recommend this to a friend.

Did not like this longline bra at all. For a number of reasons: (1) the sizing is way off. I ordered my usual size, 36D. Could have fit 2 additional breasts in the cups. (2) The style isn't stylish, it looks like something from the 40s. Basically too structured, with too many seams that show through your clothes. (3) Even though the cups were too big, the waist fit. But the length of the bra was too long (I'm 5'4" and short waisted, so maybe that's the problem.)
Goddess Response: We recommend going up one or two band sizes, and then going down the equal number of cup sizes in this style. Perhaps a 36B would work better for you.

Man, it's hard to get on by myself, but after I got it on & looked in the mirror with it, combined with the RAGO 6210 girdle, I look pretty spectacular!! In fact, the waist definition is exactly like the model's photo. The combination really sucks.... in a good way. It really sucks me in, & I love it!!

I purchased this bra to try on wedding dresses. Very pretty, but not comfortable. After about 30 mintues, the wires were digging into my skin and was very uncomfortable.

I have to start positive: The ease of purchase and lightning-fast delivery get high marks. But the size was all wrong for me. I ordered the size I wear in a daily bra, but this band size was entirely too small -- so much so that I couldn't even clasp it to truly try it on -- and the cups were at least one size too big.

I ignored the comments to go up a band and down a cup, and ordered my true size. I am glad I did, this bra fits perfectly. I haven't tried it on with my wedding dress yet, but the lower back should be perfect with it. My only complaint is that it is a pain to put on by yourself, it really is a two person job.

I was crazy over this. It was hard to put on; however once it was on it looked FABULOUS. To be honest this is more of a wedding day type of bra which is why its so long on the torso but I got it (even though I'm not getting married) because I'm busty and this provided a lot of support.

Amazing! I ordered my true size and it fit perfectly (I'm a DDD so I went with F). Not very fond of the bra straps, but I won't be using them anyway. It's a bit of a struggle to hook it on your own, but I'm getting better at it. Surprisingly comfortable, I will definitely be ordering more.

OMG I love this bra! It was the first bra that came up in Google when I was searching for strapless bras for larger busts. I made the mistake of buying two other corsets that did not work for me. i should have just bought this one as soon as i saw that it was a customer favorite. I am in three weddings this year and I need a bra that was going to serve me for all 3 events. The Goddess bra is comfy and fits just right! I usually wear a 32 G but the 34 FF in this bra is perfect for me.

I needed a good strapless bra for a bridesmaid dress. I'm normally a 36FF. I was silly and didn't heed the notes and warnings to go up a band width and DOWN 1 cup size. I have a bit of a tummy but was hesitant my FF's would fit into an F cup. I WAS WRONG!! I had to order the correct size and rush the delivery to get it in time for the wedding. Don't make the same mistake I did! Love this bra - it's sexy, gives excellent vintage shape and wonderful support for my girls. I want one in each color now!

Tremendous comfort. I ordered one band size lager and one cup size smaller. I could have gone with two cup sizes smaller though. I wear it strapless and it never moves out of place and doesn't dig in anywhere. I'd highly recommend it but would be careful with the sizing as it doesn't match with my current bra size.

I have owned this bra in white. It is the only one that holds the girls in place while I am dancing and I can wear something sexy and show my shoulders. I originally ordered the black in a size larger than my regular bra knowing that black runs small. I returned it and spoke with a representative at Her Room. In the end the one that fit me best was 3 back sizes and 2 cup sizes bigger. It fits like a dream and is sexy as all get out! I just wish I were flexible enough to be able to fasten it myself.

Shopping on the internet is always a risk especially when one lives in Europe and is shopping in the US. I am so happy I took the risk. The shipping was fast and they even helped me pay the extra taxes I needed to pay.

This bra is excellent! I can't say enough about it. I have never found in my 33 years on this earth a strapless bra that I have been able to wear. Not even as a teenager when my boobs were half the size they are now. The sizing is true to the directions given on the site. Go a band size up and a cup size down. I normally wear a 34 DDD so I went to a 36 DD. I read all the reviews before ordering. I ordered extras in other sizes in case one did not work out. The shipping was super fast. I will be using this site again. I am very happy. I danced all night at the wedding. A+++

I needed a strapless bra to try on wedding dresses, and based on the reviews of this one, I ordered it. I went by the advice to go up in band and down in cup sizes so I ordered a 38D, but that did not fit at all in the band or cup. Exchanging for a 40DD was fast and painless, and the larger size fit perfectly. It cinched in my waist and held "the girls" up well during the 2 hours of trying on gown after gown. I'm losing a lot of weight, so I may need a smaller size closer to the wedding, but I would order another one if I need to!
*Note- The bra's lace is lovely, but the cups are sheerer than on the model.

I love this corset/bra. I wear 36DD (in a cross your heart Playtex Bra) and the 36DD fit perfect! I have noticed other bra companies do not always fit (usually too small) but this was perfect. It is very flattering and still comfortable for a corset. I wore it all day for two days and never got uncomfortable. And most importantly IT HELD ME UP. The support is excellent. Very pleased. Ordered 2 more. My shoulders are loving the brake! My only questions is, is there a way to hook this up without help? My husband hooks me up but it would be nice to be able to do it myself. Is there some mystery-way I am unaware of to hook up myself???

I need a strapless bra to go wedding gown shopping, so I decided to order it from herroom.com. I normally wear a 38-40DD (depending on the bra) so I originally ordered a 40D. I couldn't even get it closed, let alone find out how the girls fit in the cups. My exchange for a 42DD just arrived and it fits the way it should fit, but I'm not as thrilled as other reviewers are (can't put my finger on why exactly). Since I am losing a lot of weight, I plan on buying a smaller size and style closer to my wedding date, so this one will do for trying on wedding dresses.

I returned this item. The sizing is off. It was way too small. I have purchased many bras from Her Room which have all fit well but I would recommend going up two waist sizes on this item.
Goddess Response: Yes Fawn you’re correct: The band runs small. HerRoom recommends going up one band size in this style, or two band sizes if you have a bit of a tummy. Fortunately GD689 has lots of cup and band sizes to choose from, so it’s easy to find the perfect size for you. Perhaps try a 38D2 in this style.

cup size was fine but i found that it gave me a more pointed look than I wanted. I think I chose the wrong band size also so I ended up returning this bra.
Goddess Response: HerRoom recommends going up a band size and down a cup size for your perfect fit, and the cups shouldn’t look pointy if they’re the correct size. As with all bras it’s so important to be in the right size to get all the benefits the bra has to offer!
You might also want to try Smoothing Underwire Bustier Bra EL1231 in our Elomi brand. This bustier features light foam lining in the cups for a lovely rounded, totally seam-free look. The band runs full in this style so we suggest going down in the band, and up in the cup. Perhaps try a 38D5 in this style.

It is a very beautiful Bra and I loved that it fully covered, however, I wear a 36DD and the Bra was at least one and a half sizes too large.

I followed the advice by going up one band size and down a cup size and the band fit perfectly, but the cup was a half a size too big, which I have never had that problem before, so I am sending back and getting the same band size just a cup size smaller. This bra truly is amazing! I have never, ever been able to wear anything strapless, one shoulder, etc due to my full chest but that is changing!!!!! I have support, I mean support and it is a beautiful bra and no unwanted cup rolls anywhere else, back fat, etc, it is truly supportive, and I cannot wait to get my correct cup size!!!!! So happy

Beautiful, wanted to love it... but ultimately wasn't cut low enough. Also, for long-waisted gals (like me) it cuts off basically at the natural waist. So it didn't go all the way down to my hips like I wanted. Word to the wise.
Goddess Response: Lauren , have you tried Smoothing Underwire Bustier Bra EL1231 in our Elomi brand? EL1231 features molded seamfree cups for a wonderful smooth look, and the bottom of EL1231 sits a bit lower on the torso than GD 689.

I followed the suggestion of going up a band size and down a cup size because the band runs small. I even saw the note to go up two band sizes if you have no waist. I was pretty confident it would fit me correctly because I have a visible waist. Apparently I do not so the product does not fit due to the band. I am unable to completely see if it fits properly in the cup because I'm about two inches shy of it closing.
However, since the bra is for my wedding, I am nothing if not persistent.
I ordered the bra extender in both a small and medium since I am unsure how much extra room I need for it to fit.
For the above mentioned reasons of sizing I lowered my review by one star. I lowered it another star because the cup has no lining under the lace; it is lace and then my breast. Perhaps that is mentioned in the product descrlption and I never saw it.
Goddess Response:
So many of our brides love the frothy lacey look of this bustier, but we totally understand your concerns!
If you’re looking for a perfectly smooth look, elomi Smoothing Underwire Bustier Bra EL1231 is the bustier for you! EL1231 features foam mold in the cups for absolutely no show-through and total modesty, and the band in EL1231 runs true to size.

You might also try elomi Smoothing Underwire Bustier Bra EL1231, a bustier in our sister brand Elomi. Very impressed with the Goddess longline product. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to locate a bra that does not dig into my shoulders nor cause shoulder pain. I don't consider myself extremely large but my girls are heavy. I followed the other reviews with sizing and this worked for me. I did notice the second bra I ordered seemed a bit snugged - working with it anyhow. I wore it to a football game and the boning poked thru. ( I guess too much jumping up and down). Anyhow, I repaired it and it is as good as new. I have shared this bra with other ladies I work with.

The only thing is when I ordered it I followed the site and ordered a band size up and a cup size down but it was still a bit big around my waist. I ended up exchanging it for my normal band size and it fit perfectly.

I can't imagine any customer could have been happier than me after trying on this garment. I had spent more than I wanted on a strapless formal gown. It came with extra material to make straps. Since I have large, heavy breasts, I have never been able to wear strapless fashions. After spending a lot more money to have the dress altered, the bodysuit (bra straps) I wore to the fitting, was inexplicably visible from the side view when I tried on the altered dress. The seamstress said there was nothing she could do. I searched and searched on-line for ideas to salvage the situation when I hit on the Goddess Lace Longline Bra. I read each and every review. I ordered one size larger and one cup size smaller and wow, wow, wow it fits and works with the dress! I am more than impressed and can't wait to try on other strapless clothes. Amazing.

I loved the bra!!!! It was the BEST strapless bra I have EVER worn! I am always even more self conscious when I have to wear something strapless, but this time I had NO worries. I should have gotten a 42, but things still worked out. Thank you so much for this site-I will FOREVER be a customer!!!

I bought the higher band size/smaller cup size as suggested in the reviews, and it fits perfectly! My only complaint is that the cups come up fairly high on my chest and I will have to pin the bra to the inside of my wedding dress because they would show otherwise.

Size: 40DD
I followed the instructions on ordering for this bra and I wet down a cup size an up a band size, originally getting a 40D, however when I tried it on I just felt like the girls had a little too much jiggle on top for my comfort. So I exchanged it for a 40DD it and a new one came within a week with no issues. I did have to pay my own postage to send it back, but I felt it was worth it because when you have bigger breasts, you CANNOT find strapless in an actual store that puts and keeps the girls where they need to be. New one fits great, gives me a good shape and stays put. The only negative I would say is this bra is VERY difficult to put on by yourself because of the many hooks, and you can't really hook it in front and turn it around like you can with other bras. But again, I feel it is worth the effort because once on, everything stays in place.

I was so excited to finally have a reason to buy this bra! I had read great reviews for over a year and thought it was the perfect bra to go with my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding. I wear a 40F in Lane Bryant's bras, so I ordered a 40F. The sizing was very comparable. The downfall to this bra is that it gives you "cone boobs" and comes up pretty high on your chest. However, it felt like it would proide lots of support so I made do with my "cone boobs" and tailored the dress to cover. My BIGGEST complaint is the quality! I only got to wear this bra once and the wire/boning on the side came out and poked me the whole night of the wedding. I am VERY disappointed. I will never be able to wear this bra again, yet it was the most supportive strapless bra I've ever had (for 2-3 hours).
Goddess Response:
Lindsey, we’re so sorry you were disappointed in this bra. The boning should not pop out after a few hours of wear! The band does run a bit snug in this style, and we very often recommend going up in the band and down in the cup. Could it be the band was too tight for you and there was simply too much strain on the frame? Perhaps Universal Cup Size 42D3 would work better for you. And yes, with our exclusive design using boning in the cups and body of the bra, this style is designed for maximum stability, lift and support!
As always, in order for the bra to be able to do its’ job, it’s essential to be in the correct size!

This item fit perfectly and looked great under my dress. I normally wear 40 D but I read the reviews and decided to go up in the "waist" size and down in cup size as suggested. I definitely recommend this bra! It is the only strapless bra I have ever been able to wear comfortably.

This bra is amazing! It is not only the most comfortable strapless bra I've ever worn, but its beautiful as well! At first when you put it on, your breasts seem to have that weird "madonna boob" look about them, but once I put on my dress you don't see that at all! It gives you a very natural, very supported look. I followed the advice on size. I usually wear a size 40DD bra, so I ordered a 42 D. It fits perfectly in the cup, but even with the band on the tightest clip, its a little bit looser than I'd like, especially since I am still losing weight. I'm going to exchange this bra and try a size 40D and hopefully that'll work and the cup will still fit. The only time I wouldn't recommend this bra is if your neckline is a very low one, as the bra comes up a bit higher than most bras. great bra!

I followed the fitting tips and still had to exchange it for a larger band size. If you are plus size you may have more problems fitting. I have a small cup (not an A but just shy of a B) so I had to use some pushup pads to fill the cups. Nice quality and comfortable

I'm normally a 38D but followed the other reviews. My boobs look a bit pointy and the band is a bit big. I also find it a bit itchy and can see it through my dress a bit, however, it does hold you up which is hard to do with a bigger chest. Still debating whether to keep it or not.
Goddess Response:
Our fit tips are just suggestions, and may not work for every body. If you’re finding the band is a bit big, try the 38D. This style is designed for maximum lift and support, with boning in the cups and in the body of the bra. If you’re looking for a bustier which will be invisible under your clothes, take a peek at elomi Smoothing Underwire Bustier Bra EL1231 in our Elomi brand. This style features seam free cups for a completely smooth silhouette. We recommend you go down a band size and up a cup size in this style, so please try Universal Cup Size 36D2.
Soaking the garment in fabric softener usually takes care of any itchiness.

I was really excited to try this bra after reading such great reviews about its support and fit. I'm normally a 40DD and I followed the size suggestions and ordered a 42D, go up a band and down a cup, but the cup size was too big, would need very pointy girls to fill this out! Exchanged again for another cup size smaller, same problem. I've never had this problem before and certainly don't have Madonna boobs that are pointy enough to that bra. Very disappointed.
Goddess Response:
It could be that you’re just not adjusting your breast tissue into the cups properly: Make sure you’re “swooping and scooping” all of your breast tissue from the back to the front and into the cups. The under-wire should sit behind all of the breast tissue on your ribcage. This will change the fit of the bra completely, and you’ll find you’re bringing the breast tissue out from under your arms and into the cups where it belongs. Your waist is more slender, and the cups are fuller. The look is curvy, not wide.

This bra fits very well. You might need to order two different sizes to see which one is the best fit for you. For me, best fit was up one width and down a cup. My true to size was too snug for me to put on without any assistance. The removable straps are a plus for now or later. I highly recommend this bra.

This bra was definitely different from my other bras!! I did read the reviews from the other ladies and was kind of right! The bra I originally wanted was a size 46 D but others had said that the bra ran a little small to order a size bigger but to also order a cup size smaller so I ordered a 48c so when I got the bra it fit around but the cup was huge. So huge I could roll it around so I had to send it back. I would suggest to order this a band size bigger and 2 cup size smaller.
Goddess Response:
Congratulations, it sounds as if you finally found your perfect size!
Our recommendations are meant to serve as a general guide to help you find your size in a particular style, and might not work perfectly for everybody (meaning ‘every body’). There could be many variables, including differences in cup size depending on whether the breast tissue is firm or relaxed, or band size depending on personal preference…

Although this bra seemed really supportive, the shape of the cup was too weird. I could see the rippling of the seam underneath my shirt, even though I'm pretty sur it was the right size (it was fitting snuggly against my breast). I would have kept it if the seam had been less noticeable under the dress.
Goddess Response:
If the shape of the cups was ‘weird’, it might very well be the cups were too small for you. An easy way to test if this is the case is to reach back and press on the back end of your under-wire… –you should feel them sitting behind your breast tissue on bone: If the under-wires are sitting on top of your breast tissue, the cups are simply too small.
If you’re looking for a seam-free bustier, you might want to try elomi Smoothing Underwire Bustier Bra EL1231
. This style runs big in the band, so I would try a 36D1.

Very supportive. However I have two misgivings, which kept me from giving 5-stars : The lace fabric is highly textured - I don't think I'd wear this under a slinky dress. The bra comes up high - the top-edge showed over my moderate-neckline spaghetti-strap dress.
I ended up adjusting the dress strap-length to accommodate the bra as It was the only bra I could find that gave me enough support. The ironies of the bra search!

I needed a strapless supportive bra for a bridesmaid dress. Being a large chested girl my entire life despite my size, I've felt strapless bras had little to no support. I've never bought shirts that would require a strapless bra because of this. But when I found out I NEEDED one for this bridesmaid dress...I was extremely concerned. I did a lot of shopping around and research to find the very best option. I came across this website. So many options! In my search, I actually bought two different kinds all with great reviews. And I was very pleased with the results of both. After reading the reviews on this particular bra I did as suggested and bought a size up. Make sure to read the tip! I'm regularly a 38DD. So, I bought a 40D. Fits perfectly, very comfortable, and I love how it makes my girls look! I won't be feeling self concious in the dress on my friends wedding day! Thank you HerRoom. You've certainly gained a new customer for life. You've made a life long battle of shopping for bras that much more easier.

I ordered a band size bigger and a cup smaller as recommended and that was right but the cups are shaped weird and very uncomfortable for the girls
Goddess Response:
Very often it’s how you’re adjusting your breast tissue into the cups that makes all the difference in how a bra fits and most of all how it feels: Make sure you’re “swooping and scooping” your breast tissue from the back to the front into the cups. The under-wire should surround all of the breast tissue and sit behind the breast tissue on your rib-cage. Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit for some helpful hints too.

I am not sure.
Where do I start?
Let me start with the Pros
Comfort
Breast Support
Cons
Boning in the back pokes my back fat and pushes up
The bottom band in the back folds up.
When I finally got the bra on with the help of my eight year old daughter I noticed the cups look big. I remember reading a review and a rep from HerRoom said to swoop the breast tissue into the cup. When I adjusted my breast it did fill up the cup nicely. One reviewer said her mom said she looked like Madonna in her pointy bra and I have to agree. The breast do look pointy but when you wear clothes they do not. The bra does offer a light midriff support. I would have prefer the bra to be a satin fabric vs the lace only because the satin would have camouflage the boning, but this is my personal preference. My only concern is the back boning is just in the wrong spot that it pokes my back fat and is noticeable under my clothing. Other than the back boning issue the bra is comfortable, supports, lifts and shapes the breast.

I purchased this bra in both beige and black colors. It is fantastic under blouses and more formal dresses. I have tried many other strapless styles but, this one actually holds me up and let's me move or bend over. Other strapless styles I have worn usually don't stay in place and some have even folded over or rolled over when I needed to bend down! There is nothing worse than having the cups of your bra let loose all of your cleavage at once! That will never happen with this bra. The cups have great undewires and aditional boning in the cups that truly surrounds all of breasts into the cups. If you learn to do the "swoop & scoop" with your breasts as you nestle each into each cup, you will have a very high lift and pronounced shape all night long. Waaay better than those flat shaped, no support bras that leave you with a "uni-breast" look!

This bra is absolutely gorgeous! I placed my order based on the reviews I read. I am a 38DDD and I ordered a 40DD. It fit me perfectly and is very comfortable. However, I was giggling a little at the top when I was walking (not a problem with the bra, just because I’m top heavy), so I ordered a pack of "Pick-Me-Up" breast lift-up tape from “HerRoom”. I figured the tape would solve my giggling problem by holding me in place when wearing this bra because the bra itself lifts and holds you up very well. I highly recommend this bra.

We recommend going up one or even two band sizes in this style, and then down in the cup. I was looking for a strapless, longline to use with my wedding gown. At this stage in life I like bras with support and a little shaping. I am a 40DD so followed the tips and ordered band size up one and cup size down one. This bra did not fit at all. The band was loose and the cups had no support. I returned it and the search continues.
Goddess Response:
As you know even the most perfect bra in the world won’t be able to provide lift and support if you’re in the incorrect size. Sometimes you have to experiment with cup and band sizes to find that perfect fit. God689 features light boning in the cups and body of the bra for the ultimate in lift and support, so I’m confident it will work if you can find the correct size for you! If you’re finding the band is too loose, go down a band size (if the band is too loose, the cups will lose support as well). Make sure all of the breast tissue is contained in the cup, and the wire sits behind the breast tissue on the chest wall (sometimes you’ve got to go up in the cup to make this happen).
Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit

The first one I got was too small and this one which is one size up fits but it is not as snug as i thought. It does give me strapless support and I know that's what it is for, i just expected it to give some tummy control.
Goddess Response:
It’s difficult to give you specific advice as you don’t mention what size was too small… Perhaps try going down in the band to a 42, and up in the cup to a FF for a snugger band and more tummy control. You could also layer a control garment under or over the bra for maximum tummy smoothing.

This bra looks good under certain dresses. I wish it Fit me like it does on the model. It's a little big in the cup. I followed the sizing guide and ordered a band size bigger and cup smaller. I am usually a 38d I got a 40c and I could have gotten a b. I do not like how it makes me have "chubs" over the cup (like where your armpit is) if my event wasn't so close I would have returned it. It's not that comfy but gets the job done.
Goddess Response:
If you have ‘chubs’ over the cup, you cannot go any smaller in the cup. It’s so important to adjust your breast tissue into the cups properly as this can change the fit of the bra dramatically! Please make sure you’re “swooping and scooping” the breast tissue from the back to the front into the cups. I think you’ll find the bra will fit beautifully, and look and feel completely different. Love love love this bra! I have ALWAYS had problems finding a strapless bra that will fit my "ladies" properly, but this one fits perfectly. The fit tip was right on the money and I ordered accordingly. The bra holds me in and holds me up, to be more precise. I'm gonna order one in the other color :)

This is by far the best strapless longline bra I have ever tried. I am normally a 42 dd but I went by the other reviews. I am very thick in the middle. The support is unbelievable, I felt so secure and never had to pull it up or adjust. Everyone should have this in their wardrobe.

I needed a good strapless bra for my friend's wedding, and this was a perfect fit. I am normally a 36DD but I ordered a band size up and a cp size down like they suggested. It fits and it is really comfortable. I've already recommended it to the other bridesmaids. It is slightly conical-shaped so it looks strange under a lightweight regular shirt, but under the dress it looks great!

I ordered up one band size and down one cup size, but it didn't fit...twice! Several returns later I gave up and a friend is now wearing the garment. She normally wears a 38C and it fit her perfect. It was beautifully made and was so disappointed it didn't fit me.
Goddess Response:
We’re sorry this style didn’t work for you, but as we all know not every style is for everybody. You don’t mention exactly what was happening with the fit when you adjusted band and cup. Was the band too small or too big? Was the cup too small or too big? It’s difficult to determine what the actual problem could be without knowing the details. We find if you have a tummy, you some times have to go up two band sizes. Glad to hear your lucky friend has a beautiful new bustier!

Like the way the breast were lifted, but did not like that I heard squeaking every time I moved. The wire buckled under the breast. Had to return it.

Where has this bra been all my life? This is the most perfect strapless I've ever bought; it fits beautifully. I even bought the other color! I wear it with the Wacoal hi-wasit iPant for complete shaping. I usually wear a 32FF, but that size doesn't exist here. So, I read the tip & went with a 34F, although in hindsight, I should've gone with the 36DD, now I know better. Caveat emptor: the cups may be a bit conical for some but I don't mind.

I am very impressed with this item. I have never found something to work on large breasts, but this does. I am originally a 36 DD but ordereed 38 D as the rule states. And I am so pleased. Will be ordering a black one. If you are skeptical of this working, I am proof large breasts can be supported. I literally laughed when I got it on because of how happy I was. Thank you so much!

Best long-line bra EVER! I thought the F size cup seemed like it was going to be too big when I first put it on, but it worked out well. It was extremely tight the first time I put it on, but loosened to a comfortable fit by the second time. It made my waist look really tiny, too.

I have really heavy breasts (48G) and had given up hope in being able to find a bra such as this one. When I saw it on HerRoom I was excited and wanted to purchase it right away. It was my favorite brand of bra (Goddess) so I had high hopes. I wasnt disapppointed at all, I followed the ordering suggestions and recieved my bra within days. It fit great with just a little bit of room in the cup size but I'm fine with that. I suggest that if you want to finally be able to wear something strapless, to order this bra!

The bra arrived in just a few days from ordering. I followed the posted information of ordering the bra cup 1 size smaller the the band 1 size larger. I was hesitant on doing that but the bra fit perfectly!!!
This is the first time I have ever seen boning in the cups of a bra which is creates perfect support for a strapless bra for a full busted person. I am super happy with this bra, the way it fits and finally a bra that really supports. I think the boning in the cups is the secret. Goddess got it right with this strapless bra. SUPPORT !!!

I love this bra, I can wear it to work all day under scrubs while working on patients and its actually very comfortable. It helps me keep my back straight and gives me great support. On regular bras the straps always hurt my shoulders and this is the only bra that I can wear without the straps, I don't ever feel like I might topple out of the bra. The band is a little tight on the 38F for me at times so I also got a 40DD. I alternate wearing the two (My weight fluctuates considerable from month to month) and this works perfect for me. They only problem I have is that if you wear a fabric that isn't very thick like cotton t-shirts the bra shape/boning in the cone does show through.

I bought this bra for a wedding because I have to wear a strapless bridesmaids dress. I haven't used it for the wedding yet, but I have tried it on and used it once and it is great. I can finally buy strapless and one strap dresses. It's really exciting. The bra works perfectly. Didn't have to pull on it or anything all night. Also, I did take the advice to go up one # size and go down one cup size and that worked well. So happy with it!

I was ecstatic to find this longline bra! It fits my Hispanic body so well, as I am shortwaisted and a bit "fluffy." In years past, longline bras were a staple - now we're limited to "high-top" control panties, waist cinchers, or spanx-like camisoles that smoosh your breasts. Clearly I'm looking for midriff control and this bra is fantastic. The boning provides comfortable control and support. I wear this not as a special event garment, but with the straps whenever wearing sweaters or other form-hugging knit tops. Love it, love it, love it!

This is a very good quality bra, and in the right size would be superb. I took the advice offered by the site and ordered up a band and down a cup. I am normally a 34DD but ordered a 36D. Unfortunately the band was way too big, and I should have stuck with my actual size. I think if you are slim through your mid rif, your std size band is the way to go.
Goddess Response:
We’re so sorry your experience has been disappointing, hopefully we can make it up to you in the future!
Goddess 689 is one of our very favorite styles as well! I’d love to be able to fit you personally to make sure you’re in the correct size, but since we’re fitting you in the “virtual” sense it’s sometimes necessary to experiment with size and style to find that perfect fit: We recommend going up a band size, and then down a cup size in this style –because we want the body of the bra to be able to accommodate the tummy area. Usually women are fuller around the torso, than they are directly underneath the bust.

The cup size was beyond a B cup. I was very unhappy with this bra. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Goddess Response:
Most women carry a lot of breast tissue on the side of the torso, under the arms.
It’s so important to swoop and scoop all of that breast tissue forward (from the back to the front into the cups) making sure the under-wire sits behind the breast tissue, on bone. This will totally change the fit of the bra.
I’m almost certain you’ll completely fill those B-cups with breast tissue that was “hanging around” under your arms where it wasn’t doing you much good. Your silhouette will look longer, leaner and lifted.

WOW is this bra big! Which is fantastic for me because I usually wear the biggest bra available and NEVER find strapless bras that fit my cup. I wear a LB 42-44DDD and and Intmcy 44G. I ordered this bra in a 50FF then returned all the way down to a 50D. It is super comfortable but the cups are gigantic. But the bones are SO comfortable and the elastic is soft and doest not ride up or pinch. I also ordered the 48 which as about 1 1/12" shorter than the 50. So now I have ordered a 50C and a 48C because the 50D is wearable but still too big in the cup, shocking I know! But I am SO happy for us big chested girls, there is this bra! I know there are a few girls bigger than me up top and here is your strapless bra ladies! It holds mine in place and I would say go up one or two band sizes but go DOWN two or three cup sizes. I have not gotten the C but if that fits, it will be like getting into a size 12 pants LOL I wear a 26W. Beautiful bra, comfortable underwire and bones. Nice soft lace and elastic. Supportive and worth every penny. It does give you a torpido shape boob, but if you're in a formal dress, that will be fine. But if you're wearing a loose tshirt or something, beware of the Madonna effect LOL. Love this bra, wearing it in a wedding this weekend and bought another one to wear for my wedding next spring. Just order many sizes and be prepared to be happily shocked. Thank you HerRoom!

I truely like this bra. The only problem is it's a bit uncomfortable with the boning poking me when I sit. The second day I wore the bra one of the boning popped out. I was in a wedding and measured myself according to the formula given on the website. The advice was to get a size bigger if you have a tummy and lower the cup size well it ended up being too big around and the cup was too small so I ended up ordering another one 38DD it fit better around but wished I went up a cup size.

I normally wear a size 34G, but the 36F fit great. I've never been able to find a strapless bra before and this bra not only works, but it makes me feel pretty! I prefer to wear the bra with the straps, as they give extra support, but even with itself the bra is pretty supportive. I would not say 100%, but maybe 85%. I will definitely be buying another one in black in the future!

Sadly I was unhappy with this product. I found that the material used was scratchy. The advice given was that if you had a tummy, then you should order it a size larger around the band and 1 size smaller in the cup. So i ordered a 50 C. It was way too big, both around the band and in the cup. Unfortunately, I had left the ordering of this bra until too late and wasn't able to wear it for a special event.
I probably won't order this one again. I am however looking forward to trying other items. The fact that they even have intimate items in a larger size is a big plus for me!
Goddess Response:
More often than not, it’s the size and not the style that’s not working; and all brands fit differently, so it’s important to be flexible about your size. It’s sometimes necessary to experiment with size and style to find the perfect fit for you.
Fortunately Goddess offers so many gorgeous styles to choose from in your size, so you have lots and lots to choose from!

There are a few problems I see with this item:
1.) It's next to impossible to put on by yourself.
2.) The back support runs small. This okay for me because when I have it tight it helps me with back support. My husband tells me to reach my arms up and puts it on as tight a hook as possible.
3.) The cups are too small. I don't think they run small; I'm just especially "gifted." It would have been nice on a larger size.
That being said, this is the only product I've found that even comes close to letting me wear the bridesmaid dress my mom bought for her wedding and I like that there are optional straps included. The versatility of this product is great. As long as its not an every day, I think it will work out.
Goddess Response:
We usually recommend you go up a band size and down a cup size in this style: If you feel you really do need a bigger band and cup, perhaps try a 40FF.
Going up a band size, and keeping the cup size the same will give you an extra cup if you need it.

Can't wear the bra if your sitting down! The wires poked my ribs and pushed my boobs up to my chin!! And when you stand up, it made my boobs look pointy! NoT recommended!!!!
Goddess Response:
Not every shape or style works for every body. Goddess 689 features light boning in the body to define and shape your silhouette, and it also has light boning in the cups for super shaping and support.
Is it possible you ordered an incorrect size? Goddess 689 is a very “specific” fit, so it must be absolutely the right size to be comfortable, and to work for you.
We recommend going up one or even two band sizes, and then down one or two cup sizes in this style. Very often the cups will appear ‘pointy’ when the cups are too small, and also when the cups are too large. And then most importantly don’t forget to adjust your breast tissue into the cups properly as this will make all the difference in how a bra fits.

Very supportive, though a bit hard to get on if you're putting it on yourself! The only thing that I don't like it how high the cups cover - it makes it hard to wear strapless because the top of the cups would show out the top.

It was great. I really appreciated HerRoom getting it to me in one day. I was in a wedding and the bra I originally had was not working this was perfect. The Bra came 2.5 hours before the start of the wedding great save and excellent fit.

Size was way too big!
Goddess Response:
Kelly, you don’t say what was too big –the cup or the band –so it’s difficult to offer advice….
We usually recommend going up in the band in this style (one, or even two band sizes) and then down in the cup, one or even two cup sizes… But most importantly, don’t forget to swoop and scoop your breast tissue into the cups properly, as this will make all the difference in how a bra fits. After trying several other higher priced strapless bras and waist cinchers I've concluded that this is the most comfortable and does the best job of supporting my middle-aged and past-perky breasts. I hook the fasteners first and then step in and yank up. The garment seems well-made enough to handle this. Much prettier than spanx-type slimmers and more comfortable too.

I love this bra. I was skeptical about it. But I am glad I ordered it. It looks good just a bit bigger around my waist. The cap size is fabulous so I will just do alteration on the side. I love it, because I can wear this with confidence that my boobs will not be popping out.

I like the bra. The band fits well. I couldn't go down a cup size as they recommended because they didn't make it so the cup is too big but it's being tailored. It fits nicely under my wedding dress and make it have a nice shape. Shipping was prompt.

I ordered and sent back 4 of these and could not get the correct size. I followed the guidelines but could not find a size that fit properly.
Goddess Response:
689 has its own passionately loyal fan club, but as you know it’s absolutely essential to find the correct size in every bra.
We suggest going up one or even two band sizes, and then down one or two cup sizes in this style. And then most importantly don’t forget to adjust your breast tissue into the cups properly: This will make all the difference in how the bra fits!

Fits nice. The first strapless bra i've been able to find in my size. The only bad thing is the first time i wore it one of the ribs already poked a hole in the material and started slipping out. Previous recommendation of ordering one band size up and one cup size down was right on.

I am typically a 38F so I was very weary about following the guidelines of ordering up a band size down a cup size (40DD) but it was a perfect fit! I have never before found a strapless bra, even a longline bra, that would hold me up sufficiently but WOW this one is awesome!! Tried it on under my wedding dress and love the way I look! It trimmed my waist and lifted and separated so it wasn't lumpy. It was a little looser than I expected it to be around the middle (meaning I could actually breathe and move) but it didn't need to be tighter to hold me up -- being comfortable is a bonus!! It does look a little funny by itself (torpedoes!) but being held in by the dress makes them look good and rounded. A+++! Highly recommended and will pass this on to friends! Supports better than most bras WITH straps!

It fit fine but the top of the bra was round. My dress was strapless
and the tops of the bra did pop out occasionally. So I would have
preferred the bra to be cut straight across.
Maybe the next bra you design will have that feature.

The girls do not move in this bra! I don't have to go around all day tugging everything back into place, which is awesome. I usually wear a 34DDD or E, but I followed the advice listed about sizing and bought a 36DD. I am worried that if I lose any weight (I fluctuate a lot) it may begin to slip, but we shall see. I also noticed that this gives me a bit of cone-boob, but it actually looks pretty good under my dresses. I definitely recommend!

Usually love goddess bras, but this was mostly useless. I'm returning it because it had very little support. You do need to go up at least a band size, I'm usually a 44 and the 48 was a bit big, just be sure to compensate by going down one cup size for each band size you go up.
Goddess Response:
689 is one of the most supportive bras we make. It’s built for the ultimate in support and shaping, featuring light boning in both the cups and the body of the bustier.
However, even the best bra in the world can’t do its job if the size is incorrect. As you’ve discovered, most of the support should be provided by the body of the bra, so it’s vital that the band is snug enough around the torso.
It could also be you need a larger cup size to give you the fit and support you’re looking for.
You might try Elomi 1231, a bustier in our Elomi brand. It offers seam-free cups, for a lovely smooth look under clothing, and it gives you two more cup sizes in a 44 band than 689. Remember, Elomi is UK-sized (please refer to size comparison chart). I would recommend a 44G in this style, as there’s no need to go up in the band.

This one fit well but the cup size is well below my regular cup size of a G. Fits and is comfortable. Looks a little torpedo like though. I found this evens out if I but pads in the cups. It's also not very smooth to wear it under something that isn't lined. All in all I am pleased, can't be to picky since it's hard to find a strapless bra for breasts my size :)

i was worried that the DD would not be large enough for my regular cup size DDD, so i ordered 38 instead of my regular 36 band width.

i thought the bra was prettier than the photo shows, but did not care for the pointy bust look.

The cups on this bra run large. Using the sizing guide tips, it came in perfect (ordering a back size up and a cup size down). I would have preferred that it be a little bit longer in the front. It kind of creates the pooch belly because of where the elastic stops at the bottom but wearing a pantie that has a high waist fixed the problem. But overall VERY comfortable!

I don't know what to think about this bra. It doesn't fit anything like the picture. I am a curvy girl and usually buy a 36D. I followed the instructions and got a 38 C. It didn't fit, it way way too huge. I spoke with a customer service representative and s/he suggested I try a 38B. I got it, tried it, and it fits terribly. It is one of the most unflattering items I've ever tried on. They must have modified the sample on the model in the photo (don't know if that's Goddess' fault or HerRoom's fault), because it cuts into any hip fat (even though it gaps in the back), sags around the middle, and doesn't stay up.
Goddess Response:
The band must be too big if you had to alter it. A 36 might have been a better choice in a D cup. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I originally bought this long line bra for a formal dress bought for my grandson's wedding. I needed strapless and at my size only a long one would stay in place. The dress needed a bra that had a deeper dip in the front. I then wore the bra with another dress that worked perfectly. It was a very hot Georgia day and the bra did not bother me at all.

I am actually a bit unhappy with this bra. The structure build on the cups shows easily through fabrics and the cups are cone-shaped. I feel the way this bra is shaped does not fit in with the modern-day woman. It really is a shame, especially since the rest of the bra is amazing! It has great fit once you find the right size. I wish they would take a similar design but focus on making the cups smoother and rounder.
Goddess Response:
The garment is all lace and will show through some clothes. The seam in the cup is straight across the cup which can sometimes give a more projected cup look.

This bustier did not work for me at all. I wear size 34D and I felt the cups on this bra were too big. I also found the bra to be very uncomfortable. It felt like a breast plate when I sat down.
Also I only weight 115 pounds, but this bustier gave me "muffin bottom" which looked terrible. I had to return it. Alas my search for a strapless bra continues.
Goddess Response:
Very often the cups will seem too big if we don’t take the time to swoop-and-scoop the breast tissue into the bra. It’s just as important to place the breast tissue into the cups properly as it is to find the correct size and style (please refer to Tomima’s “3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit”
to help). I promise this will make all the difference in how a bra fits.
This bustier features light boning in the cups and in the body for the ultimate in support. Perhaps at a 34D, and 115 pounds, all that structure was a bit much for you… Also we usually recommend wearing a smoothing support garment to take care of that ‘muffin bottom’ which sometimes happens when a bustier hits just in “that” place.
You mention you’re looking for a strapless bra, not necessarily a bustier: Perhaps cross over to our Fantasie brand and try our Fantasie Strapless Bra 4530. This style is a customer favorite and very reliable –extremely supportive, and comfy. It features foam molded cups for a smooth seam-free look.

I bought this feeling a little skeptical about how it would fit me. I have always had one breast bigger than the other and all of my life, I haven't been able to find proper bras that fit. I tried this one because I wanted to even out my breasts underneath strapless tops and dresses. I love the the fit of this longline. Everything about it is fantastic. I carefully followed HR's guide to fitting for a bra and the tip regarding ordering down one cup and up one band size (I think it was). The people here really know what they're talking about. The fit was spot on. I still have one bigger than the other, but even without pads, this bra evens things out beautifully due to its strong support. THe ONLY thing I have a problem with is that it is visible under shirts with smoother material. This is due to its lace design. If there was another one like this that was smoother so I can wear it undetected under tshirts, I would buy two! HR if you know of such a product, please let us know!! Great product---super company. This bra definitely gives me the lift and definition I needed for my strapless bridesmaid dress. It holds everything up and makes my dress much more comfortable. I did go up a band size from what I normally wear but should have went down a cup size too. But not a problem, HerRoom was very accommodating with an exchange. I did 3-7 day shipping and had it within 2 days. we took the tip that was given on the website to order the band size larger than what you wear. It was clear to my daughter and I that the bra you sent us was mislabeled. We measure it and it was not a 40 more like a 34. So needless to say we had to send it back.
Goddess Response:
There’s not a lot of “forgiveness” in this bustier. The boning and precise engineering are designed to give the ultimate in shaping and support. It may be necessary to go up one, or even two band sizes, and then down one or two cup sizes depending on the size of your midriff. As you know all brands fit differently, so it’s important to be flexible about your size.

I really love the comfort of this longline! If only it were just a wee longer, maybe 2 inches, it would hide them love handles well, it smooths out the torso very well, but rides up slightly on that spot.It keeps everything in place , very comfy, only thing I did not like to much was how pointy it makes the chest, like a Madonna look, major minimizing going on there, the look it gives under tops it doesn't seem right for me, but my husband seems to like it with the top off ;) very sexy. Maybe with the right dress it will work.

Have never found a strapless bra to lift my full figured girls until I came across this one. GREAT!

I liked what i saw of the construction of the bra. My only complaint was that i followed the directions on the site and went up a band size and down a cup size and the banding was wayyy to large. i have since sent it back for an exchange. Hopefully they are able to ship me one in time for my wedding.

Size: 34DD
I was so excited to find this - finally. I needed very firm boning to hold "everything" up under strapless summer dresses. I bought this one because I thought the lace would be cooler in summer, although the lace texture shows a little under tight knit. I also want to try the Elila 6420 because it's firm and a smooth fabric. Regarding size, I normally wear a Playtex bra in 38D but when I ordered that size in the Goddess it was perfect in the cup but the bodice was so huge I could grab an entire handful of excess. The customer service woman advised me to get 34DD, which I was skeptical of, but she was right on. The ordering and exchange processes worked well. I'm a new fan of HerRoom.

I believed that a 36F was a substitute for size 36DDD, however, this bra doesn't come close to a proper fit. The bra is exactly what I wanted but the fit is way off. The no return no exchange possibly seems unfair when I couldn't even try it on because of the size disparity.
Goddess Response:
Tomima recommends going up a band size and down a cup size in this style…

This is the only strapless bra that ever fits this well on me. It's almost perfect (if it extend just long enough to strap my belly in it would be just perfect). This bra is great. I recommend this to all women with big bust. I felt so free first time I put this bra on. For the first time my shoulder is free from carrying my heavy boobs. I feel lighter. I've waited so long for this bra. Im not kidding!!

What they say about this bra is true. I ordered a 42D instead of 40DD and it fits perfectly. Bra arrived promptly and was exactly what I wanted! Great experience with HerRoom!

Buyers are right when they say to go up a size in the waist area. I had to order & return a couple times to get the right size. I am very pleased with the right fit and I would recommend this for women who are full size and need a strapless bar for sexy or summer dresses.. Thank you. HerRoom

This item does run big in the cup size. I ordered a 40 D because I do have a stomach and hips so I wasn't sure about the fitting so I ordered a size bigger for the midsection. It is very comfortable and it really supports without having to worry, I normally wear a 38 DD. The cup size is a little big, but otherwise great. I am wearing this under my strapless wedding gown and am very pleased with my purchase and I received it very quickly. I would recommenced this to anyone.

This bra fits excellent. Just the wire in the back bunches up and starts to pinch me. I was thinking about remover them. Do you sell one without the wire.

Size: 44DD
I am 5'4, I wear a size 12/14 in pants, and I actually wear a 40DDD. I took the advice from the site about going up a size in the band, and down in the cup, but I know how large my breasts are, so I went with the 44DD, and it works perfectly. I am a bridesmaid in a Wedding in May 2011, and I took the chance of ordering this, and I'm so Happy with the results...... Its called the "goddess", and that is surely the shape you get. When I was trying it on, I had to pick up my husbands bottom jaw, cause I think he likes it better than Me. LOL! If you are a full figured woman this is the bra you need. Even though I am full figured, and not a skinny lil bone, I turn heads daily!!!!

The 48C bra was returned because it was too big. I received the 46C strapless Goddess bra and it is great.

I was very pleased with this bra before ordering I read other reviews most were helpful... I ordered my regular band size and cup size the cup was a little big but I was prepared for that I rather it be a little bigger than spilling out... the band size fit with no problem!! I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others needing a larger size bra thank you having what I needed when I needed it!!

Love, love, love this bra! It's the best strapless bra I've found for bigger busted women. It holds everything in great and boosts them up perfectly. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because I wish the torso was a little bit longer to help other trouble areas.

Bra was comfortable, but this is the second size I have had to send back. I have since gone with a different bra totally. The cup size on this bra was huge. It was like I wasn't even wearing a bra at all. It fit around nicely. No pulling or digging in and it was very comfortable. I used the instructions to measure from this website, first I ordered a 50F. Sent it back for a 50DD (DD is my normal cup size, but normally a 44 around) and the cup size on the DD was just as big as the F. I didn't want to have to keep paying to send it back and wasting my money and plus my wedding is coming up so I don't have the time to keep exchanging them til I get the right size so I gave up.

For my wedding gown, I ordered many, kept this one. Even more supportive with the straps, and it accepts the clear ones too. Have used again and again.

This bra is comfortable and easy to wear, it doesn't ride up or slide down but your boobies look a little pointy. Overall though, its a very good bra.
