Wore it once for over six hours and it wasn't that uncomfortable... I was impressed with the level of lift still possible. Danielle from Charlottesville, VA

Had to return first order because I ordered size that was too large. Turnaround was quick and the new size fits well. Marie from Longview

I didn't think it was possible to have a supportive strapless bra. I was very skeptical to order something online...but I was so pleased with this item! I ordered my normal bra size and another size just in case (took the advice from some other reviews), but my normal size fit perfectly. Terry from VA

I followed the instructions for ordering this bra in the correct size and ended up having to return it twice as both times it was too big (band size and cup). I think it will be a really great bra with good support, but getting the right size is tough.

Goddess Response: Our “Tomima Tip” is to go up a band size and down a cup size (so if you usually wear a 36C you’d actually order a 38B). You’re right, this bra is wonderful, and one of the most supportive styles in the market, but as you know it has to be in the correct size for you. Sometimes it’s just a matter of trial and error, going up or down in the cup and band until you get it right. Mary from CA

I got this particular strapless because it is not so long as to poke my legs when sitting down, but still has the boning to add a secure feel. Highly recommended for those with a short torso. Amanda P. from Washington, DC

I tried two sizes and kept this one, it did the job I needed to be done but had a little room in the cup. I intend to try the 42DDD my actual size because although this 42F worked I'd like to fill the cup. I wasn't sure what to get because I usually have problems getting enough cup coverage so I used half the guidelines, I went up a band with the 44FF but found that I was overly concerned with the cup size and my tummy wasn't enough to require the larger band which was encouraging. So the 42 band is perfect for me and I have a feeling the DDD cup will be too. It was a leap for me but I'm glad I did it. I had a ball at the ball. Thanks again HerRoom for giving full figures a chance to fit in. Sports bras are next. 40 and fab from NJ

Great fitting longline bra! I took the advice on this particular style and chose one size larger band and one size smaller cup. Normally, I would be a 34DDD. The corset style helps to support a larger bust; it's perfect under the spaghetti strap matte jersey dress I just made. Dorian from Dayton, OH, U.S.A.

I can't rate the 44F because I had to send it back as it was to big. I didn't have time to exchange, so I reordered(impressive delivery time) the item in 42F and it was ok but for my next event I may try the 42DDD which is my actual size, I think for me it would be perfect. The 42F got me through my event, I danced the night away, it gave great support especially to my FULL bust line, it was comfortable, didn't hinder movement, was cool even when the heat was on, great breathability. In my strapless low back gown many couldn't believe I was old enough to have adult children. This bra(in 42F) did it's job for me. Thanks HerRoom. I can't wait to try some sports bras for zumba class now. 40 and fab from NJ

excellent support. Had to buy two cup sizes smaller and one band size larger, not so slim as I used to be in the midriff. Mary from Tx

I was pleased with this bra. I wear a Bali Minimizer bra in size 42DDD on a daily basis so I initially purchased this Goddess bra in a 42 F. The cups were too large so I took the advice of Her Room and went up a band size and down a cup size and ordered a 44 DD. It fits very nicely. It actually lifts-not like other strapless bras that have no support. I recommend this bra. Monique from California

The fit on this was a little off but I think if I had ordered it a size smaller it would have been perfect. I am normally a 42DDD and I ordered a 48D. I went up 3 band sizes and down 2 cup sizes to try and get the right fit. It worked okay and I did wear this bar under my maid of honor dress and it work out fine. It kept the girls up all night.

Goddess Response:We would suggest to go up one band size, and down one cup size. At the very most we’d recommend going up two band sizes and down two cup sizes. We're so happy to hear your girls were up all night! Maryea from Maine

Finally I found a strapless bra that fits. I was amazed at how well it fits in the cups, as I usually spill over and this time the girls actually stayed inside the bra. Yeah! Makena from San Bruno, CA USA

The sizing was exactly as advertised. It fit perfectly following the guide. I've never bought anything like this before and I was dubious about the whole thing, but I'm very happy with the ordering and the result. Thanks. Shayna

I have always had large breast and had no luck with strapless bras. The ones that I chose never fully supported me and made my breasts look sloppy and slouchy! Until I found this one! I usually wear bra sizes that range from 34 dddd to 34 G. I purchased the 36DD and I absolutely loved it! It slid only a little bit, but I read after I purchased that unless I was heavier not to go up a size. This bra had amazing support and allowed me to be comfortable and confident. I will order at least 3 more in the size of 34 dd just to ensure that I have enough. I love this bra!!! I would recommend it to anyone who has large breasts for weddings, strapless dresses, one shoulder shirts etc. BUY THIS BRA TODAY!!!!! Jasmine from Colorado Springs, CO

This long line bra worked perfectly under my mother-of-the-bride's dress. The dress did have small straps but the back of the dress was a little low-cut so that a normal bra stuck out. The bra was actually comfortable and did NOT move, and I didn't need to make an adjustment all evening. I did follow the ordering advice of getting a larger strap size, but found that only made the bra too big. However, the cup size being smaller did work just fine. Thank you for a great bra. This is my second time ordering from HerRoom. I ordered a corset from another maker and it did not work. I love how this fits with a tight fitting dress. It's perfect. For a dress that is a little looser not so much. I would recommend this to anyone with large breasts and volume which I have. Good luck! Liz from McLean VA

If this bra was made in my actual size (32DD-32E), I would have given it 10 stars if I could. As it was, I bought a 34DD. Many of the commenter's mentioned they thought the band size ran small, but I found it fairly true to size, if not bigger. I normally wear a 32DDD/E or 32F, so I knew this wouldn't be perfect. As it is, I find it just a little too big, both in the cups and also in the structure around the waist. I am by no means a skinny-minny, but I do have a small frame, so it's generally difficult to find full-torso clothes that fit. But I have to say, I have been dreaming of this silhouette for YEARS. I just never thought anyone would bother to make one, because I felt like my size/body shape was such a "niche" and not mass-marketable. The bra is very comfortable, definitely fits under strappy dresses and blouse-y strapless tops. I think the only clothing it wouldn't work under is super form-fitting attire, but I'm considering having the garment tailored. All in all, awesome product that could be improved just a wee bit. Love it! Sharm from California

I am a regular 44DD & needed a strapless bra for an upcoming wedding. I followed the chart recommendation & bought a 48C 2 band sizes up & 1 cup smaller. The Band fit was perfect, I found it very comfortable however the cup size was a little too big I actually needed a B cup! but I decided to keep it anyway as it will work. My overall review is I'm happy with my purchase & definitely will recommend for all first time strapless bra purchasers like myself. Jennifer A. from N.Y

I followed the advice of buying up one band size & down a cup size, but it was totally unnecessary for me. I ended up exchanging for the size I actually measured for. In the end, the bra worked great & gave me the low bra-line that I needed in the back. However, I still have to return the bra because it's too high in the front. My dress is V-shaped in the front and back, and the bra comes up way too high in the front.

Goddess Response: Yes you’re absolutely right, we usually recommend going up in the band and down in the cup in this style. You seem to be the exception that proves the rule… We’re happy the size worked, but sorry the style didn’t work for your dress Addles from Arizona

Not a comfortable fit. cups were really high on breast and had no form. returned item

Goddess Response: It’s difficult to diagnose what’s going on without seeing the bra on the body. However, the cups feature light boning for shaping and support, meaning that they do have an inherent form. You might have purchased an incorrect size in which case the bra simply can’t do the job it’s meant to do. Trisha from Modesto, CA

I returned the item - I normally purchase my bras from a department store - I wear a Wacoal 40 DDD - so in reading your sizing I ordered the 40 F. Cup size was fine - but the 40 was way too small, I couldn't even get it hooked around me.

Goddess Response: American brands use fabrications which are often much stretchier, and more “forgiving” than the Goddess brand. Goddess offers a very “specific” fit so the size has to be absolutely correct to get the ultimate in lift and support. This style runs extremely small in the band. We recommend going up a band, and down a cup. Sometimes you’ll even have to go up two band sizes and down two cup sizes for that custom fit. Perhaps 42DD, or even 44D would work better for you.
