It fit fine but the top of the bra was round. My dress was strapless and the tops of the bra did pop out occasionally. So I would have preferred the bra to be cut straight across. Maybe the next bra you design will have that feature. Mary Ann from Brooklyn, N.Y.

I have never worn a more comfortable bra! I almost thought that it wasn't working because a could barely feel it there! but the support and overall look and feel it gave was amazing. Will buy more. Vanetta from Jamaica

I followed the instructions suggested for going down a cup size and up a band size and it fits great. I'm a 36 DD, and ordered a 38 D, and I feel completely supported when wearing this bra. Michelle from Texas

The girls do not move in this bra! I don't have to go around all day tugging everything back into place, which is awesome. I usually wear a 34DDD or E, but I followed the advice listed about sizing and bought a 36DD. I am worried that if I lose any weight (I fluctuate a lot) it may begin to slip, but we shall see. I also noticed that this gives me a bit of cone-boob, but it actually looks pretty good under my dresses. I definitely recommend! Nikki from Tennessee

Usually love goddess bras, but this was mostly useless. I'm returning it because it had very little support. You do need to go up at least a band size, I'm usually a 44 and the 48 was a bit big, just be sure to compensate by going down one cup size for each band size you go up.

Goddess Response: 689 is one of the most supportive bras we make. It’s built for the ultimate in support and shaping, featuring light boning in both the cups and the body of the bustier. However, even the best bra in the world can’t do its job if the size is incorrect. As you’ve discovered, most of the support should be provided by the body of the bra, so it’s vital that the band is snug enough around the torso. It could also be you need a larger cup size to give you the fit and support you’re looking for. You might try Elomi 1231, a bustier in our Elomi brand. It offers seam-free cups, for a lovely smooth look under clothing, and it gives you two more cup sizes in a 44 band than 689. Remember, Elomi is UK-sized (please refer to size comparison chart). I would recommend a 44G in this style, as there’s no need to go up in the band. Katherine from Boston, MA

For the most part I am happy with the bra, it offers great strapless sport for my large breast. My only complaint is that the boning started popping through the lace after wearing the garment a few times. Shayla from Hampton/Va/U.S

Have not really worn this bra yet, but when I tried it on it was comfortable...the cups are a little big but I am sure I can fix that...I will wear this for two special upcoming events.... Marie from LaPlace

This bra is perfect. The advice to order up a band size and down a cup size was right on. I was getting upset over not finding a bra for a halter dress I'm wearing for an event, but HerRoom saved me! I have told many friends about this site. Pamela from Pennsylvania

This one fit well but the cup size is well below my regular cup size of a G. Fits and is comfortable. Looks a little torpedo like though. I found this evens out if I but pads in the cups. It's also not very smooth to wear it under something that isn't lined. All in all I am pleased, can't be to picky since it's hard to find a strapless bra for breasts my size :) Amanda from Otsego, Mn

i was worried that the DD would not be large enough for my regular cup size DDD, so i ordered 38 instead of my regular 36 band width. the bra fit my cup size just fine, but was indeed far too loose all around. i could have fit into a 34. i thought the bra was prettier than the photo shows, but did not care for the pointy bust look. ali from fayetteville, ar

I followed the suggested size guide and got a cup size bigger. The bra was entirely too big with that method. I should have just gotten my normal bra size. The bra is nice, I can see wearing it under summer wear after I return it and get the right size. Pat from New York

very difficult to put on by self, and the boning around the breast area was not very comfortable. sly

The cups on this bra run large. Using the sizing guide tips, it came in perfect (ordering a back size up and a cup size down). I would have preferred that it be a little bit longer in the front. It kind of creates the pooch belly because of where the elastic stops at the bottom but wearing a pantie that has a high waist fixed the problem. But overall VERY comfortable! I don't know what to think about this bra. It doesn't fit anything like the picture. I am a curvy girl and usually buy a 36D. I followed the instructions and got a 38 C. It didn't fit, it way way too huge. I spoke with a customer service representative and s/he suggested I try a 38B. I got it, tried it, and it fits terribly. It is one of the most unflattering items I've ever tried on. They must have modified the sample on the model in the photo (don't know if that's Goddess' fault or HerRoom's fault), because it cuts into any hip fat (even though it gaps in the back), sags around the middle, and doesn't stay up.

Goddess Response: The band must be too big if you had to alter it. A 36 might have been a better choice in a D cup. Sorry for the inconvenience. Jessie from Portland

I tried the advice of going a band size up and a cup down. The band was perfect but the cups were way to big. I have done an exchange which went smooth and quick, the new bra is on it's way. Crossing my fingers its perfect. The quality looked great, I was bummed it was so big Amanda from Otsego, Mn USA

The size was perfect - ordered 1 size up 1 cup size down from measurements. I purchased to wear with mother-of-the-bride dress. Wore it as a test to work one day. It was comfortable, except a bit pinchy under the arms sitting all day. Co-workers commented on the difference in my appearance. It was slimming and uplifting. TJ from KY

I originally bought this long line bra for a formal dress bought for my grandson's wedding. I needed strapless and at my size only a long one would stay in place. The dress needed a bra that had a deeper dip in the front. I then wore the bra with another dress that worked perfectly. It was a very hot Georgia day and the bra did not bother me at all. I am actually a bit unhappy with this bra. The structure build on the cups shows easily through fabrics and the cups are cone-shaped. I feel the way this bra is shaped does not fit in with the modern-day woman. It really is a shame, especially since the rest of the bra is amazing! It has great fit once you find the right size. I wish they would take a similar design but focus on making the cups smoother and rounder.

Goddess Response: The garment is all lace and will show through some clothes. The seam in the cup is straight across the cup which can sometimes give a more projected cup look. Jana from Walla Walla/WA

I am a first time buyer of HerRoom...Ii recently just purchased this item. The cups are very huge normally i wear a 40G but took the advice of other reviewers...and ordered up in the band and down in the cups. The fit of the band was very good but the cups are still too big..but decided to keep it anyway..gives very good support and it does have that pointy Madonna look!!!!!! Tyechia from Colorado Spgs

I followed the Tomina's tip(instead of getting the equivalent of a 34G I got a 36F) and the band was a little tight but I broke it in! I'm glad I did not order a 38DD(which was the next tip if you have a "tummy") because the cups are great! Raechelle from Arkansas

Best strapless bra I have ever had, I tried size 34 and 36, the 34 is a little too tight, and the 36 is a little loose, but better then the 34. The bust size is just right. Marilyn from Chesapeake Beach, MD

I ordered larger based on the suggestion, it is almost too big, I would order my regular size next time. I wish it were a little smoother under my dress, but IT HOLDS ME UP!!! After trying on dozens of strapless bras I was almost ready to give up, but this bra really performs as advertised. Barb from Pennsylvania
