The bra provided the support but the straps do not allow enough room for adequate adjustment and the front hooks stick out and is not a smooth look with whatever shirt you are wearing. I was dissapointed because I liked the look of the bra. Valerie from Victorville

This bra is comfortable and easy for me to put on and off, I really like the front close, it doesn’t roll under and I am not constantly tugging and and rearranging it to be comfortable. This is the style of bra I like most, front close sports bra. I have bought this bra in the past but seems they have changed it somewhat and it feels better than I remember. I recommend this bra for plus size women who like this style Gisele from Ringgold Georgia

Doesn't fit comfortable and the back pulls up from the weight of the breasts in the front. Too stiff material. It is a nice bra, just doesn't fit comfortably on a short person with large breasts. Would like to see wider straps and longer bottom edge (5-8 inches) for more stability and comfort. BK from Deltona FL

Very, very comfortable for me. I have very heavy breasts that do not support themselves at all and the fuller back has seemed to help so much. The cups hold everything up but there is really no shaping like I'm used to with underwires and it does roll at the bottom. Ann

AWESOME! I absolutely LOVE this bra! It supports exactly where I need it to, it’s VERY comfortable and I love the back support feature because it doesn’t fall down off of my shoulders as other bras do. I’ve ordered similar bras from other companies but they just didn’t work out! I just ordered two more from HerRoom and I’m sure to order more in the future. Suzanne from Iowa

No side boning so bra rolls up.

Glamorise Response: If the bra is rolling up, your band may be too snug. Consider going up one band size and down a cup size (48B) to prevent rolling. Jane from lake worth florida

The bras seemed to be well made, however, the hooks were so far apart the material spread when closed poking out. The cups fit fine and were comfortable even though breast surgery on my left breast left it smaller. I had to return the bras because of the closure problem.

Glamorise Response: If the fabric is pulling too much, the band may be too snug on you. You may want to try going up a band size to see if that lays more flat and you use the tightest hooks to prevent any material coming through. grandjan from Galion/OH/USA

This bra felt rather stiff when I first put it on. However, I soon forgot about it. It helped relieve some of the pressure on my shoulders and was very comfortable throughout the day. It’s front closure made it easy to put on and off. Not as shapely as some bras but great for work Judy from Florida

Oh how I wanted this bra ro work! I mean front closure and back support as well, woo-hoo! However, the fabric stretches and causes sag and doesn't have any side support. A bust for larger busts. Returned it.

Glamorise Response: The straps are adjustable and if adjusted to a shorter length, it can add considerable support. Kathryn from Tennessee

I've spent a fair amount of time trying to find a bra that fastens in front (rotator cuff injury makes back fastens painful), and still provides good support for those of us on the ample side. This bra does the trick. It's comfortable and really encourages better posture. Sharon from Virginia

This is very comfortable and easy to get on since it hooks in the front. I tried several other designs but this one puts less stress on your shoulders and has nice straps across the back. I don't do high intensity workouts just tennis and golf and this was plenty of support. Sue from Vancouver

There is nothing “magic” about this bra and it absolutely does not “lift” a darn thing. If you require a bra of this size (46F) then there is a great chance that you need support. My breasts are heavy - soft cups have never really done much for me, so I’m not sure why I thought this one would be any different. The straps don’t stay in place - I have to readjust them on a daily basis - and the clasps (especially the top two and the bottom one) unclasp themselves at random. I would definitely not purchase this bra again.

Glamorise Response: Based on your strap and clasp comments you may be wearing a bra that is too big. You may want to size down one band and/or cup. Or you may prefer underwire cups for more support or lift. In most cases women tend to prefer one or the other. Even though it’s a sport bra you may prefer our wire style Glamorise Underwire High Impact Sports Bra 9066. Lauren from Fresno CA USA

What?!?! So THAT’S where my breasts should be. This is THE ONLY bra that has ever provided me with the proper support that I need. Let’s face it, I have very large breasts. This bra has 7 hooks in the front; there is NO WAY that they will come unhooked. Also awesome is the fact that there is NO UNI-BOOB !!! My posture is better, too. Finally, a bra that works for me!!! I need an underwire. I got this bra because of the band/cup size, but it just doesn't support me at all. My breasts look like they are just pulling the whole thing down. I keep it for when I am just "bumming around the house" I like the front hook and the straps stay in place, which is about 70% of what I look for in a bra.

HerRoom Response: For an underwire bra with a front closure, consider trying Glamorise Elegance Front Close Wonderwire Bra 1245. Julia from Chagrin Falls OH

This bra looks amazing on the website & I think it probably would be for a smaller bust. The back posture feels great but the breast doesn't have a center. All bust rolls in together with no separation.

Glamorise Response: Front close bras inherently do not have the same level of sink (against the chest cavity) and you may try going up a band size if the band is rolling up. You may want to try Glamorise Magic Lift Full Figure Wireless Support Bra 1000 for a supportive Magic Lift with a back closure to sit closer to the chest. Gayle from Victoria Australia

I was really hopeful that this bra would be perfect for me but unfortunately, it wasn't perfect. I'm 73 years old and a former 38B bra wearer. Today, the 38 band on this bra was fine but the B cup is too big. What I really need, I think, is an A+ cup, but I couldn't find such a thing. The fact that I'm 5' 0" tall may be another reason for the bra not fitting correctly. It's a little "too tall" for my frame. Carole from Charlotte, NC USA

I was so happy this arrived quickly. I am recovering from a 'triple' shoulder fracture, and this was so easy to put on without causing any pain to my upper arm, my upper back, and my shoulder. It's a great fit with good support, very comfortable, easy to fasten, stays fastened, and does well in the washer and dryer. I would recommend this if you've had an injury that prevents you from getting your regular bras on. Now I want a pink one! Jamie from Ashtabula, Ohio

MY FAVORITE!!! Of the 5 bras I ordered at one time this style is my favorite hands down. I should of ordered 1 band size smaller. I expected a sports bra shape because it is a front close but surprisingly it gives me a pretty nice separated shape. My biggest complaint it there is only 2 adjustment sizes and they are very close together. I plan to buy more of this one if it lasts! Felisha from Comanche, TX

I had purchased this bra in size 38B and was very satisfied except I felt it was too tight around the ribs so ordered a size 40B. Big mistake! The 40B was comfortable around the ribs, but the cups were much larger. What do I do now? Couldn't send it back because I was so sure it was going to be perfect that I cut the label out before trying it on. Naughty me.

HerRoom Response: Remember when you go up in a band size you should go down in a cup size, making your sister size a 40A. Unfortunately this style is not offered in the size 40A. For a different front close bra offered in that size, consider trying Valmont Satin Trim Front Closure Soft Bra 45801 that is similar in style to this one. Dorretta from Mesa, AZ

It was big enough around, but the B cup was HUGE. I plan to purchase cup fillers to make the cup work. The bra was very good quality, and once the cup issue is solved, it should be a very comfortable and serviceable bra. My next order will be an A cup instead. Patricia

This sports bra fits true to size and is comfortable. I like the front opening so there are no hooks to dig into my back during floor exercise. I did not give it 5 stars because the cups are pointed which I avoid in bras. But my exercise clothes are loose so the unnatural pointiness doesn’t show

HerRoom Response: If you are looking for a different option of a front close sports bra that gives a rounder shape, consider trying Glamorise MagicLift Front Zipper High Impact Sports Bra 1266. Gayle from Long Key, FL

I am pretty disappointed in this bra. The back rides up and the bottom snap digs in and itches my skin. I often have to wear it with the bottom hook unsnapped to avoid the itch, but then the band starts to roll up. The whole thing has also come unhooked while I was wearing it.

Glamorise Response: If the back is rolling up, that means you are in the wrong size bra. Keep in mind that all brands size differently after a D cup. We suggest checking out our Size Guide to ensure that you are in the right size "Glamorise" bra. Allison

I was looking for a bra that would have the straps cross my shoulders in a different spot than usual to give my shoulder dents a break (big busted girls know the struggle there!). I was hoping for more support. Carrying large breasts causes a lot of back pain. The only help I have found has been sports bras, but I needed something I could put on without assistance. The front closure seemed like a good option, but unfortunately there is not enough support to help my back.

Great quality product, but I found the cup size to be much larger than a D cup, so my bras were a little too big in the cups causing the front closures to pop open because it wasn't "filled" in. These have been my go-to bras for the last decade. As you can imagine, I have a very hard time with back issues and struggle even finding a bra that comes close to fitting my large frame. The bra does everything I need it to. It supports with the racer back design in the back and the wide straps across the shoulders make carrying the load a lot less painful. I appreciate that there is no wire as other brands dig into my rib cage and taking them off at the end of the day is almost euphoric. But this bra, I can wear this baby all day and all night (I don't tend to sleep in bras so I'm not sure how it would fair overnight). This bra is completely opaque in the front (I did get black but still), and I appreciate that in terms of nipples. This bra is a little bit easier to get on than the other similar Magic Lift bra. Again the hooks at the top of center front do stick out a bit under thin/knit shirts. The bra will show with scoop/wide necklines. The breast tissue will be more under the armpit than in an underwire bra but you don't get uniboob really, and overall it looks fine. This bra is fine, I would probably buy it again if my shoulder stays uncooperative. Futuralon from CA

High marks on comfort -- even though the bottom band rolls after a couple of washings. Not being a fan of the soft, uni-boob look, I am constantly on the look out for bras that offer separation. This one is about 2/3 of the way there. I'm an "apple" shape and because this is a supportive bra that holds things in place, it is not particularly slimming under clothing. I have frozen shoulder and I have to have surgery on my shoulder so I needed a front closure and this one did not lay flat no matter what I tried to do. Because of my body size I have to order online, the stores here don't carry my size not even in a sports type bra unless i want to spend a fortune which I can not afford. Very well made bra with the exception of the bottom band which does tend to roll. I love that the front hooks are in two sections so you can adjust as needed. Most front close bras do not have that. I have taken the same bra size for a decade. This bra was too tight and the cups were too small. The basic design is great and if it fit better, it would probably be a good bra for me. I wore it for full day hoping that it would "adjust" with wear. It didn't. If I were to order it again, I would have to go up a size.

Glamorise Response: We suggest going up a band size and cup size to a 46J. Keep in mind that all manufacturers have a signature fit, and your size from one brand may not be the same as another. Lora from Pittsburgh, PA

Filled out the charts for right fit, went for recommendation. Rode up in the back, just didn't work. Will probably not wear again.

Glamorise Response: It sounds like the band it too tight. You should try going up a band size to achieve a better fit. SJ from Banning, ca, usa

This bra has wonderful lifting support without underwires. The wide straps provide comfort across the shoulders, but could be a bit longer for taller torsos. Having the back support built in helps improve posture and enables the lifting support of this great comfortable bra. I'd love to see this same bra designed in a summer fabric option if possible. The only thing wrong about this bra is the 2 month back order time to wait for delivery, but then again after receiving this bra for the first time I can see why I had to wait so long...it's the perfect bra! I have found that there are two bras which support my H cups nicely- adequately. The Elila #1305 and now the Glamorise # 1265. When wearing them" The GIRLS" know they are under control. This Glamorise bra, as constructed-magically supports from the rear panel and the straps-- the inserts --side and bottom of the cups also help. Result is the breast weight is evenly distributed--shoulder/rear panel. Plus the Glamorise cups give a pleasing projection --and a very feminine appearing chest. This bra is most comfortable as an all day and also -now at night--helping keep the breasts in position while sleeping. With large breasts it is great to have an appealing large breast appearance. There is just so much one can do in positioning H cups. I will order another in black-which is my significant others choice for me to wear when the time is right. It may be functional but this bra does have it's appeal. kay from NE

This bra is amazing, and I can see why it was on back order for so long. I work long hours and after a while, bras will start chafe around the rib cage and in the strap area. This bra doesn't do that. It maintains its shape and support all day long. This is the first bra that I haven't raced to get out of at the end of my work day. I will definitely buy more. I have to return this item. After following the instructions to find the correct bra size, I was disappointed that this bra didn't fit well. I currently own a Vanity Fair 44DD, but according to the size chart on this website, I purchased a Glamorize 48DD. The band fit well, but the cups were pretty loose. The fabric was also somewhat itchy. Thankfully, returns are simple with HerRoom, and I ordered the same VF bras I own (again through HerRoom) in the 44DD! Emily from Evansville, IN USA

I've had this style before. I like that it gives me enough support and supports the back nicely. I'm keeping my "wrong size" one because it will be good for days when I'm bloated or hurting because it still supports nicely but a bit looser and more gently. i love glamorize bras, but i am really struggling to find one that actually fits properly, its the problem of not being fitted, i think. this one is too big on the cups, yet using the sizing calculator this in a size smaller than recommended and it is a tad loose. Sadly new zealand does not offer bras in this size so getting fitted is not an option. (last time i tried to get a fitting, the girls at the lingerie store just laughed and said ' we sell them that big' ). But yes i will buy another and maybe next size down. deborah from new zealand

This is not a bra that I would ever purchase again. The supporting elastic at the bottom of the bra always starts to bunch up after I've been wearing it for over a couple of hours making it very uncomfortable. The front closure and support are the best features of this bra but not worth the hassle. My cleavage gets too sweaty in this bra as it does not separate very well either. Amanda from Berkeley, CA

i read the reviews and ordered this bra one size larger in width. i did not order the cup size any larger. if you have hand cramps, know that this bra closes in front with hooks and eyes. there are two columns of them, which really helps me since i'm always somewhere in the middle. so i use the second row, the one that is tighter. i only wish it would have three instead of two. the hooks and eyes make this bra far more durable than those that close with one plastic bar. i love this bra for its help with my posture: i consider it the best i have ever found. but you will have to give yourself more time to get into this bra. the only thing i find hard to deal with is that the front bottom curls upward. i wish i knew what to do to stop it from happening, but it still is not a deterrent to buying this bra. kiki

Compared to the 1006 in a 46G, which I was saving and have now outgrown, for it is now too small for me; and I have had this 46 DD about a week, exchanged from a 46G that was too very much too large in the cup. The 1265 in 46DD is still too large in the cup. It is not supporting. The straps are taken up, to attempt to get the boobs lifted. This just caused the fabric that hits the front center of my arm, above my armpit to be uncomfortably tight. The straps pressing on my shoulders at the base of my neck are very uncomfortable. The band has rolled upward. But, if a 46 is not supporting, a 48 (your recommendation for a rolling band) certainly will not. My measurements are 42" below the bust where the band fastens, 46" above the bust where you say to measure for band size, and, 50 in the bust with the 1006 46G with a 2 inch cleavage coming out the top, (totally unwearable, squeezed in there) In the 46DD 1265 my nipples are below below the midline of the cup. There is a 3/8 inch fold I can take in the fabric in the top of the cup. If I measure in that bra my bust measures 51. I'm trying to find a sturdy bra for everyday wear in the right size. Either the 1265 runs big, or the 1006 runs small. Debi from Fort Gaines

This bra was too large. I called and asked for advice for correct size. I measure 42" under bust and know this would be too uncomfortable for me. My bust measurement is 51 or 52 depending on which bra I have on. So, I measured under my armpit and that was 46". So, I returned the 46F to exchange for a 46DD. That bra is also a bit too large in the cups, and the cups seem to be pointing outward. Having already spent $6 to return once, I have kept the bra, will just wear it around the house. Better luck next time. Will maybe try 44DD or 44F. Debi from Fort Gaines/GA/USA

For a support bra there's not too much support. It's somewhat comfortable but more in a leisure bra sort of way. The breathable fabric so so easily stretched that there's just no secure ness to it. Maybe if you have a job not requiring much bending or what not but I lift, bend, reach, etc all day I don't have time to fix my bra bc it rose a inch up my boobs. I know this is my size bc I've measured myself almost a dozen times. And one day at work and it's so stretched it might as we'll bet a cheap sports bra from Walmart. So I'll give it a 3 bc the good part is the straps and how they go to sort of a racer back THAT part I really like Lindsay from Sellersville, pa

It reminds me of the matronly polyester bras we were required to wear as recruits in military boot camp 20+ years ago. This is what you would call the "industrial strength" bra. No lift whatsoever, even though size wise it was the right size for me. The fabric was so scratchyt. The structure in the back did feel pretty supportive, but the bras is not nearly as pretty as the photo makes it look. It's more like you'd expect a matronly prison warden from the 1960's to wear. Pregnant with my second baby, due in just 3 weeks. I am a very large breasted woman to start with ( no implants what so ever!) With my first born I was a 40 DD and went up to at least a 40 DDD ( the biggest size I could find in stores) And it still didn't fit right. This time around I looked online for a bra that I could use for nursing to! This fits a little too big, but I am sure that it will change once my milk comes in. My older bras (44 DDD) were just too tight and I was popping out every where plus was very uncomfy. I like how I can easily take this on and off and it buckles in the front. Loved the price. Wasn't to pricey, like other ones that I've came across meant for nursing. Plus I really like how the back is, I really needed something that would give me support since I am naturally big breasted as it is. I recommend this to any naturally big breasted woman who is looking for a good bra that has support before nursing/during nursing or just flat out to support the girls! Melody from South Carolina

After injuring my shoulder, I needed a good front-closure posture bra. I tried quite a few before I found this wonderful Glamorise 1265. Not only does it fit very well, but the soft lining of the cups, the band, and even the backing on the closure portion make it the most comfortable and non-irritating bra I have ever worn. Thank you! I followed the measuring instructions carefully and ordered a 40H--this thing is HUGE. No support at all and my breast hang down to my waist. The fabric is itchy and it too stretchy to provide adequate support. Since I've worn it I won't be returning but this was my first and LAST purchase from your company. What a waste of $30. It has taken me over 2+ yrs for me to find a comfortable bra. You name it, I have tried them. The cost didn't matter to me I just wanted a bra that fit, gave me support and didn't hurt! This bra did this and more! For the first time in years I found support for my back not aching and my arms not hurting. The price was also fantastic. I gave a couple Glamorous bras as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She told me these were the best bras she has ever worn in her life! Ladies check it out. You will never regret it! The staff working for Her Rooms know their products! If you are having a specific problem, share it with them via phone. They will make suggestions of models brands of bras etc to try. Also if you don't know how to measure yourself they will be glad to share how to do that to. They will explain the difference between sizes as well. Good luck on your shopping!! I love Her Room!!! I am very pleased with the fit and support of this bra. I had ordered another one but it was much too uncomfortable - I am comfortable with this bra and like the fit. The only difficulty is the back keeps riding up so the girls tend to droop again. I would love to know the solution to that. Lee from Burien, WA USA

Not the most comfortable bra I've ever owned but it does a good job of support. It definitely needs a longer panel on the bottom in front as that's what rolls up and makes it uncomfortable.

Glamorise Response: The bands tend to roll when they are too tight. We recommend sizing up in this style, to 38I. Ginna from Palm Coast, FL, USA

I have worn this bra for many years; it's been my favorite, however, the new ones I received did not lay flat in the front. The fit was good, but you can't wear it with t-shirts because it sticks out and doesn't lay flat. I was extremely disappointed in this product.

Glamorise Response: Unlike wires it is difficult to get soft cups to lay completely flat against the chest wall. We recommend you going up a cup size as it seems like the cup may be too small for her. Doris from Hillsboro/Illinois/USA

Very comfortable. I have trouble finding comfortable bras. I like the two rows of hooks in the front, so the bra can be loosened or tightened. The posture back is extremely comfortable. This might have been a good bra but for me the band was too large the cups and straps were set too far apart so my breasts were pushed way out toward my armpits and the straps would not stay up on my shoulders and were too short and being elastic offered no support. ok i hope this review helps. I started to look for support bra's because my back is killing me, after mri, xray and a specialist, it could be the girls, with that said i ordered this bra for the back panel support. Ive had it a week and i dont feel a whole lot of relief yet. it feels ok compared to the bra i was wearing. I'm 5'4 290 and wear at store 44 DDD. the fabric under the bra that is supposed to lay flat curls up and then pokes so I folded it up to avoid the pinch, if I lay down in this bra forget it, my boobs spill out and move all over, working day to day its ok but again I feel like I'm adjusting the pinch in front, pulling the back down. the front buttons are kind of a pain and not super easy. I have to get one latched, then move the girls into position an then finish the rest. They are supposed to separate but after a coupe hours they smash together again and the latch part pushes up against my shirt and looks bumpy. the fabric is ok, not to rough or uncomfortable but there is zero cup support. I'm going to use for now since i threw all my bra's out, going to try underwire full support as I feel the back support doesn't do enough to out weight the support I need, I cant find one that has the panel back like this one and underwire full support of a regular one. overall its not great but its not terrible either, I guess because bra's are a constant issue its better than some. also, there is a bit of fabric bunch up in the nipple area but I don't feel i could go a cup smaller so i adjust and pull to try and smooth it. eek. gonna try again. I'm a shoes and bra off when i get home type so you have to get used to all the back fabric. Going to try a sleep bra for home time as well. Happy shopping.

Glamorise Response: Thank you for your feedback. If the cups aren’t separating and it's pushing up against your shirt, you definitely need a larger cup size, try a G cup. If the back is riding up it’s one of two things, either you not adjusting the straps properly or you are needing to go up one band size to 46. I would try the cup increase first and if that doesn’t work go up a band size as well. Melissa from Santa Rosa, CA

This bra is very comfy! It gives a bit of support while not being at all constricting. I like to put it on for a lazy day around the house. I don't like the shaping it does (very minimal, and what there is is quite pointy...), and it doesn't offer as much support as the underwire bras that I have always worn and prefer. But underwires are not the most comfortable thing sometimes, and this is the best non-underwire bra I have found to date. Heather from Boston, MA

I just received my shipment of 3 of them today, 10-18-2012. And I have to say that although it is mostly comfortable, I do not like the seam across the front. It is not flattering in the least, and looks horrible under clothes. The one I have always worn is Leading Lady style 5042. But you don't carry that in a 54F. If you did, I'd buy a dozen! Cause that is my perfect bra. Also with this one, it rolls underneath (even though it is not supposed to). I will be keeping these, as I threw my old ones out already. Please carry the Leading Lady seamless bra, style 5042 in 54F. Thank you :) Candace Candace from Yuba City, California

The front closures make the bra so easy to put on and hook. Front closures do not define each breast as nicely as a back hook, but the ease and comfort to the hands, arms and neck are worth the trade-off. The back support provides extreme relief from pain, exhaustion and forward lean; I LOVE the upper back support this bra provides. The padded shoulder straps and toward-the-spine angle add to the overall support and relief. K. Sue from Walla Walla, WA; USA

this is a great back support bra and feels very comfortable. but the seaming across the middle of the cup makes it look awful under clothing. So I'll wear it on days i stay home or when I know I'll never be taking a coat or jacket off. And it's not just this bra. Every one styled like this seems to have the same issue. It makes me wonder why it hasn't been fixed industry-wide.

This is the best I can find. For a size 44f I really like the no-poke or chafe support - but I hate the 5 hooks in the front. When are they going to learn that just cuz we're big we don't have to be bolted in. I typically will sweat in my cleavage with all those hooks. I wish they would make the perfect bra - a racer back -close to this, with a low plunge single hook in the front. Glamorise makes one close to it, but it only goes to a 44dd - come on - make 'em just a tad bigger folks! Susan from greenfield mo usa

This bra, though comfortable initially, seems to put stress on the shoulders, which is a problem for me. Otherwise, it is quite comfortable and provides good support. Cris from Seattle, WA

This item was purchased for my niece in the nursing home. She was really excited to once again have a bra since they had been unable to locate one locally. The cup was a little large but I have recently ordered two more in smaller cup size. They were backordered but she is greatly anticipating the next ones when they do arrive. Thank you for offering this service to people of her size. Myrle. Robbie from Albany, Ga.

I ordered two Glamorise bras in the same size and the one fits perfectly (1005) but this one gaps and sags. I ordered back support because a friend told me she loved hers - I think the difference in our sizes makes the difference in our love of the bra. Margaret from Joelton, TN, USA

I have tried so many brands that promise support and comfort, but this bra is the only one that delivers for me. I am a size 36I and have had back trouble when sewing. With the back support and lift that I get with this bra, my back no longer pains me. Being small framed and top heavy (I seem to be just all out front)requires special 'assistance' daily. I just love the front closure. It makes it so much easier to put on. The wide straps give me shoulder comfort, the wide backing helps to hold my bra in place to keep me from sagging as the day goes on. I can now defy gravity and be comfortable all day. Thank you so much for making a bra just for me. Kathy from Houston,Texas, USA
