This is a bit more challenging to hook than the other racing back style, and I am not sure why? But it is very comfortable and gives a great profile under clothes. Every now and then I feel a pinch. If there was a 4.5 star option I'd give that. Glicker from Andover

I love this bra except for one huge problem. The underwire pokes out of the underarm area after just one or two wearings. If the wire could be anchored with a hole in the center bottom to be sewn to the bra, maybe this problem could be avoided.

I have this bra in a 34G and it fits well in a racerback by this company. Decided to try this front closure and ordered a cup size up (from other reviews I read this was a suggestion). Well, the band had to be a 32. Don't suggest you get this.

The partial lining on the inside of the lower cup is now finished differently. The old lining was finished with a soft overlock stitch. The edge of the new lining has fabric folded over it and stitched. Too obtrusive for the inside of the cup.

Glamorise Response: Customer is correct. Change was made about 2 years ago, but from a raw edge to an overlock stitch with a binded tricot at the top of the inner sling. The change was made in response to customer feedback. This change was also fit tested in-house to ensure the same fit was maintained. I ordered it my true size and had to exchange it for band size bigger, and therefore cup smaller. (From 34H to 36G). I am still not thrilled with the fit but suspect it is user error. I like the front closure.

This Bra is disappointing front closure is tricky & hard to hook. The cup size runs very small, and the Bra is very painful as underwire at the bottom of the cup digs into flesh, it looks good but cant stand the pain too bad.

I like the bra. I'm a little nervous about the latch in the front. It is plastic and not too thick. I can see this breaking. So I'm being careful with it. What a pleasant surprise. This lifts and separates without bulk. The front closure is awesome,it took a little getting used to but I really like it.The back doesn't dig into my meaty back. Once in this bra you need to adjust your breasts but after that they stay out in place for the most part. The front clasp is very secure, it does take manual dexterity to close the front so be advised- but when you do it 2x it will be 2nd nature. B

This bra's underwire was too tall. If I lower to fit under the arm it is way down in the front. I am just 5'0" inches tall & this came down too far in the front even though it is a nice short front. This bra does run tight in the band that is why I ordered a 40 & the band fit. When I was thin and wore a DDD I could wear this style, but I guess either the wires get taller the larger the cup size, or they changed the wire style over the years. Women with size 38DD need minimization, separation, and encapsulation. No padding. This bra offered no padding, but nothing else. I buy front-closures for the separation, which this doesn't do. The front close clasp on this bra is a thin, flimsy plastic that I have a really hard time closing. It is so thin that it feels that it may break and will not withstand many wearings. I am very large busted & am so disappointed in this flimsy little clasp.

I think I was quick to review this bra before I gave it a chance. I did have to remove the lining in order for this to fit properly and at first I didn't like the way it felt, after wearing it for a day I absolutely love this bra! Only things I would change about it is the lining of course, and the stitching along the nipple, because the line does show through some tops and I prefer a smoother look. Loranne

If you are looking for support, this bra definitely has support, almost too much to the point that you feel constricted. There was a lining under the lace with a band made of a thin rubber that causes a definitive line, which in turn causes a VERY noticeable bulge. I removed this and it improved the bra, but for the price I honestly did not like the cone shape it gave my breasts under a shirt.

Love Love Love this bra! It fits just right. Easy to close in the front and stays flat, no twisting. The coverage is good for it being an unpadded bra. I have worn this type of bra for years. It is the easiest to put on and take off since the clasp is in the front. The Glamorise I got some years ago had a problem with the wires sticking out, but I don't have that problem anymore. If they were sticking out when driving I used to pull them out and throw them out the window in anger. They felt like they were going to pierce my ribs. Thank God they fixed them. Finally a bra in DD+ sizes that the underwire doesn't stick up 4 or 5 inches between the breasts nor push away from the chest. This is my first front hook bra and it's great!! I am very big busted and always thought that this type of clasp would not hold. Wrong! Love how the bra holds in from the side. Have always had a problem with keeping straps up so always go with front close. This is the first time straps on front close still fall down occasionally. The only thing that could make this bra better would be if it were made of tee-shirt material. I suffer from breasts that are different sizes. This means most bras don't feel comfortable or lay flat between my breasts, this one does. PROS: comfortable, straps are padded and wider at the top of the shoulder which helps distribute the weight so they don't cut unto you, also, straps aren't too wide set, if you have traps they tend to roll if they are too wide or too close together. First I chatted with a representative asking for advice. Always hard to buy a bra online without having the opportunity to try it on. I love that this bra is front hook and for me reflects true sizing. It wears well and I have never had an issue with the closure. The worst feature is that it can not be worn with a lightweight t-shirt as it shows a definite seam. Alabama gals love their t-shirts and this is not good as it can only be worn underneath heavier weight clothing. Janeybs from Madison, AL USA

I've never worn a front close bra until my wife bought this for me for my birthday. It's one of the most comfortable bras I have ever worn. Excellent choice for post-rotatorcuff surgery. For more than a year I have been unable to reach behind my back. Front closure is nearnperfect. The wider cushioned strap minimizes the pressure on the top of the shoulder where the bone was shaved. For outpatient therapy, I needed to wear something to cover my large chest. Very pretty bra but the width of the band is too wide for a very small frame. The straps were too thick for tiny sholders. The underwire was too long and poked into the underarm area. The cups did work for a 38D. Chose to return this for another style. Simka from NH

As I get saggier, my short frame has rebelled against the bra I've worn for years. After trying the polka-dot front close underwire just because it was black and cute, I'm not going back to that other old brand. I am standing straighter and not 'yanking' at it as I did the other. Woohoo! (I'd love to have some other colors, but have settled for the neutral which is your only choice in my size besides the polka-dot...and white of course, which I never get.) Being a 42g is a problem for walking in a store and purchasing a bra. As an older lady, it also hurts my shoulder to reach behind me and fasten a bra.
