The extender is too wide for all of my bras. I had bought this product from another store but they were just as wide. I took a chance and thought these might be more narrow. With the wideness, both sides of the hooks are too far apart and don't line up with my bras.

Don't like the fact that you are forced to buy a mixed package of these. I haven't worn a white bra since I was 16, so I am left with two white extenders that I can of course use, but would rather not on a beige or black bra.

These are much better than the old ones I had purchased in a sewing notions store. The material they are made of is much smoother and perfect even when you have a bra that fits, but the hook is bent in such a way that it scratches. All you have to do is snap one of these in and your problem is solved. They are also perfect for using on a bra where the band size is lower than what is needed for comfort. With the three adjustments they can be adjusted for comfort. AJ from Conn

I purchased the 3 and 4 attachment bra extenders because my very favorite bra was being discontinue and the closest size available was a 36DD when I actually need a 38 DD. I personally do not love these extenders as the elastic pinches me. I washed the one extender I have used and that seemed to help since the elastic softened some with washing. These extenders worked perfect for me. I need a large band size and small cup size and everytime I would order a different size in the band or the cup it would effect the fit of the other as well. I have these in both the 2-hook and 3-hook size. Long story short: had a breast reduction and went from 32FF/G to 34C. With smaller breasts I don't need the bra bands as tight as I used to need for hoisting my breasts up. :) I made the mistake of buying several bras with 32 band size and now I find them unnecessarily tight. The 2-hook extenders do not fit the 2-hook bras I normally wear, because they are too wide. I am size 38-B and almost all my 2-hook bras have narrower fastening bands than these extenders are. In response to those who commented they could only make the band size too large and they weren't able to get it just right--try hooking the extender to the "second-to-the-loosest" or middle column of bra hooks rather than attaching it to the loosest column of hooks. You may find that allows you to get it right. Hard to explain why without trying it, but I think it takes advantage of the fact that the distance between columns on the bra may not be exactly the same as the distance between columns on the extender. The extenders are very comfortable and soft like they say, however they are too stretchy for me. I just needed to slightly extend the back by maybe .5 to 1 inch, but even on the smallest hook with the extenders, it lengthened the back strap by no less than 2 inches. I was disappointed in the extenders. I can either adjust the bra to make it large for me or much to large. It does not have the proper adjustment for me. It also does not match up well to any of my current bra's so the clip snap fit in the back is a little hard to do. Too wide for all my current bra's...but workable.

The ad description says 2 1/2" for a 4 hook, which is exactly what my current bra band was. However, the Fashion Forms extender was over 2 1/2 inches, so the hooks do not line up. It's usable, but causes a slight pucker in the band.

HerRoom Response: You are correct, that these extenders do not line up with every bra on the market. And, we don't know which brands those are. I have been searching for a store in our area that sells bras that will fit my daughter and I, but no luck.
