Bottoms are kind of hit-or-miss, but Fantasie bottoms are the way to go. I also tried two Freya bottoms and greatly preferred the two Fantasie Versailles bottoms I tried.
These are a little expensive, but it's worth it. Instead of feeling awkward in my swimming suit and wishing I had another, I feel comfortable and confident.
Both Fantasie styles I tried were almost shorts and a very flattering cut. They had two layers of fabric instead of just one and they covered enough of my behind.
I ordered a small and they were true to size (I used the sizing catalog and in both the Freya and Fantasie bottoms, this was accurate).

Fits very comfortably and I like the gathers on the sides which can be hiked or lowered according to your preference. Would like the top to come a little higher on my torso and the skirting to lower a bit more but that's the only reason I dinged them one star. Otherwise I'm very happy with this purchase.

size extra small is actually too big, probably need to order a size smaller than you regularly wear.

Was a bit too large for me. I am 5'-9" and 140 lbs, usually fit a medium, but the legs were too loose.
