I have owned several Fantasie bras. This particular one is rough and scratchy on the material where it hooks together. I can't wear it. It is so uncomfortable and distracting. Not sure what happened on this one, but unless it is an anomaly, avoid it at all costs!

Fantasie Response: If you otherwise enjoyed the sleek support of your Fantasie Smoothing Balcony bra, then we suggest giving her a quick soak in a mild fabric softener. This will relax the fibers and makes them softer against the skin! Gail from Joliet, IL

Nice bra, good construction. Just does not fit me and I like a little padding.

Fantasie Response: If you like your t-shirt bras with a little padding, then we suggest trying one of our newer styles, Fantasie Aura Underwire Smoothing T-Shirt Bra FL2321. Aura is a modern take on a classic Fantasie silhouette. She is designed to lift and center the bust, smooth the back and support invisibly under clothes. Aura also features a J-hook to make summer tops and dresses a breeze! Barb from Marietta

This Fantasie bra has been my go-to bra for ensuring smooth lines under thin or sheer shirts. It fits me perfectly and the quality is excellent. Occasionally with other companies after years of wear the material will weaken and the underwire will pop through - I have never have had that happen with Fantasie. Highly recommend. I absolutely LOOOOVE this bra! It’s the true meaning of a T-shirt bra. It’s smooth and holds the breasts up where they are supposed to be. The regular price has been $50 for YEARS! As soon as I saw it on sale for $35, I bought 5!! Wish I had gotten more now. Mia from Woodbridge, VA

I thought this would be a molded cup but unfortunately it was not.

Fantasie Response: In the case of Fantasie’s Seamless Balcony Bra (FL4520), the word “molded” refers to the cups being formed over a heated mold that creates their rounded shape. If you are looking for a smooth silhouette and cups that are contoured, then we suggest trying the Fantasie Smoothing T-shirt Bra (FL4510). This style features light foam cups for coverage and modesty. Jenn from North Wales, PA

I bought this same bra about a year ago from a specialty store, but I had to travel 40 miles from my home to buy it. I loved the way it fit and wore it almost everyday so when it was time to get another bra I decided to try to find the same one online to save the 40 mile trip. Nothing can compare to being fit properly for a bra but since I already knew my size it wasn't an issue to buy this one online. I like that it's comfortable and smooth under the shirts and gives good lift since I'm a larger size. Jennifer from United States

I have never tried on a bra that fit so badly. It had no relation whatsoever to the shape of my breasts--stretched tight in some areas and wrinkly and loose in others. I tried 2 sizes and both were bad.

Fantasie Response: We suggest trying a style from our sister company Freya, Muse AA1901. This bra is a light spacer that will form to your breast tissue and is also convertible. Jackie from Salt Lake City

I love these bras Having a small back and a large bust it is very difficult to find bras that fit well and are priced right. I have been wearing this style for about 8 years at one time I could get them at Nordstroms but I guess they are not fancy so not too many women what them. I have also purchased 4 bathing suit tops from HerRoom and I love them. The fit is perfect Janice from SSF CA USA

Comfortable fit however, not smooth fitting over bust. Material gathers and does not fit smoothly.

I had been having trouble buying bras recently and I was very hesitant to buy one online. I followed the measurement guidelines and was surprised to see that I had been wearing the wrong size bra! So, I viewed the ones that were recommended and went with this style since they had great reviews. When I got it in the mail,I was anxious to try it on. I did and it fit perfect. I was shocked but very happy. It's amazing how well this bra, lift, supports and shapes me and it's not even a minimizer. Very happy with it. Christie from Hutto/Texas/USA

Loved this on the first wearing, but ended up with rash under my arm from the side underwire the second time I wore it. Made me sad.

Fantasie Response: The FL4520 is a great, everyday bra! It sounds like the bra was not quite the proper fit. If the wire was causing irritation under your arm, the wire was not clearing breast tissue. I would try the same bra in a 34FF. This will give you the same cup capacity but will anchor the wire in the right place. The center of the bra should be sitting comfortably on your breast bone, and the side wires should be clearing ALL of the breast tissue. Don’t forget properly washing your bra, and rotating all of yours bras can help keep them in the best shape possible as well as alleviate skin irritations. Kathy from Pensacola

The absolute best bra I've ever worn! I ordered 9 different bras and this was my favorite by far! I have very large breasts that are heavy and deflated from pregnancy, and this bra does an excellent job of lifting and supporting while not adding bulk. The center sits flat to my chest bone providing perfect separation. This bra also provides a naturally round shape under clothes as well. Tiffany from Louisiana

I ordered this bra in part because of it was supposed to be similar to my beloved Fantasies 4510. Let me say it is not. I spilled over the cups so much, I thought there had to be a mistake in the ordered size. Be careful with this one or maybe it's just me. Seems each time I try anything else within the Fantasie line, the fit is grossly off. Disappointed

Fantasie Response: Hi Dana, The 4510 and the 4520 are both part of the Fantasie Smoothing collection. The biggest difference is that the 4520 has a softer finish and not as heavily molded as the 4510. 4520 offers a softer lamination with natural cotton, and yet still provides a seam free, natural shape. Due to the softer finish, the cups may run slightly different then the stiffer 4510. If looking for something lighter, yet molded, perhaps try the Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire Bra, which is a breathable spacer fabric. Dana from IN

Last summer I bought a bikini from the Fantasie line. I loved the top and how it fit, so when it came time, recently, to replace my bras I thought I'd try out some Fantasie bras and see if I liked them as much as the bikini. Well, I was absolutely excited that I love the bras I ordered. I diligently looked thru the comments and appreciated what everyone said. This is one of the most comfortable bras I've ever worn. The support is different from the minimizer bras I've always worn, but I like it!!!! I am thrilled to not have red strap marks on my shoulders, which I've had from wearing minimizer Wacoal bras for the past 10 yrs. I also bought the Smoothing T-shirt bra and totally love it!! My favorite though is Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire bra.......love the colors and the fit and molding.......my only wish is that because I'm 4'11, that the straps had less decoration on the strap so I could tighten it about an inch more. That's okay, I can take it to a seamstress and get the decorative strap part shortened to fit my body. These bras are AWESOME!!!!! And are basically the same price, some cheaper/some a little more expensive, than the Wacoal bras I've been buying.....WOOHOO!!!!! Jodie from Denver

My favorite everyday bra. I have three and plan on getting another. It gives support, classy cleavage (visible but not smushed together, busting out) and works well for saggy, post breastfeeding women. Works for most of my low cut shirts. Bonny from honolulu

This is my go to every day bra. It gives me great support all day long, it's very comfortable and it doesn't give me any extra padding. If I wear it with a sheer top and I'm worried about modesty, I have cup liners that I use. I own several of these in all of the colors. I will no doubt buy more. I also think that they last for a long, long time. Leigh from Indiana

My number one, all-time favorite best bra ever! Lace is pretty, but I hate all the seams. These are smooth, with great support that lifts without making anything project forward. Durable and generously sized for my very full bust. I've tried dozens of others in the last few months and this is the one I keep coming back to. Love, love, love it! Claire from Albuquerque/NM/USA

I have been buying this bra for years and I have not found one that I like better. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that the straps slip off of my shoulders; I wish that they would place them a little closer in on the back to prevent this. Overall, great bra, great fit! Brenda from GA

This and other soft cup bras are perfect for sagging moms recovering from breastfeeding. It's my only non sports bra that is comfortable and holds me in. I have molded cup bras that fit but I fall out of anyway because my breasts have more liquid properties. This bra keeps them in while still allowing for low cut shirts. Bonny from honolulu/hawaii/usa

My favorite bra! I can't ever find anything bigger than a DDD in stores and they NEVER fit me right, so I decided I would order from HerRoom and go a size up. I didn't realize the sizing was different than US bra sizing, so I ordered a 36G thinking it was 1 size up... It fit perfectly! I never knew I am actually a US size I cup. The center actually fits perfectly between my breast up next to my chest and doesn't bulge out. The only thing I'm not 100% in love with is how far apart the straps are. Even though I've tightened them, I find they occasionally slip to the edge of my shoulder. I would prefer them to be stitched a little closer together in the back. Celina from GA/USA

I returned this bra, but it was really close for me. The straps on this bra are to die for - I was in HEAVEN on that front, but it was the fit that ultimately drove me away from this bra - the under wire ran too high on the outside - so it was in my arm pit and pinching. The cup fabric was a little too rigid, so it gave a strange form to my boobs that also put me off. Jennifer from NV-USA

Today is the day I write this review. This bra is AMAZING. It makes me look 10 pounds lighter and, somehow, ( I am in pretty good shape, but... ) this bra makes my entire body look tighter and more fit. No kidding. This bra makes my girls perky and perfectly naturally rounded like I am 20 years old again. I love this bra in the summer time, and when I am not working, due to the nip factor. But I think it's the lack of any padding and the incredible support of the unique fabric that make everything a little smaller and tighter, while still maintaining my natural shape (for reference: 30FF, I'm natural and wider/shallower profile ). My go-to everyday bra is Freya Deco, and I have a wardrobe of Freya bras in different styles. The sizing of this bra is consistent with Freya bras. This is my only Fantasie bra, and I generally prefer the less coverage styling of Freya since my breasts aren't that large. But this bra is my favorite summer bra for Tshirts and tank tops. It's really not pretty nor sexy to look at, but under clothing it is so comfortable and gives me a great shape. braholic from md

I have been wearing vanity fair bras for years, they discontinued the bra I usually bought in the 36DD. I ordered this Fantasie bra in 36DD thinking it would be the same size. The material and the band around was wonderful however the cup size was that of "B" rather than a "D". I was disappointed this time but I will order again. LeAnn Hill from 160 South 5th West

Gives good shape, in a way that is surprising given the lack of structure to the cups. The wires are narrow, as is the center gore, which is a nice change for people like me who are used to the wide wires and wide gore of the Rebeccca. It also gives a more centered, projected profile, which is nice. Descrete under clothes. I get some slight wrinkling at the top of the cup, because the shoulder straps are too wide, and I have to loosen them a bit in order to pull them over onto the flat part of my shoulder comfortably (if I don't loosen them a bit then they put pressure on a part of my shoulders that is already prone to tension, due to bad posture when working at the computer). The straps are set farther apart then the Rebeccca, but not as far apart as the Cleo Maddie, and the lower sides on the cup keep it from digging uncomfortably into the shoulder/arm pit. This is my go-to bra. I wear it with everything. It lifts, separates, holds, tacks and supports plus it has quality construction that has held up through all sorts of abuse. Found this style years ago while looking, ironically, for a nursing bra. After trying one on, I ended up using it for breastfeeding. Just drop the straps down. The underwire doesn't dig into my armpits, the center tacks to my sternum, the molded (not padded) disguises my cup size difference between left & right, balcony cut fits under every shirt I own AND the sewing between the strap & cup holds the swim bra hook from my strapless nursing tank (not sure if I can name them here). I try other bras and just keep coming back to these. 5'7", 150lbs & short waisted Melissa from Dallas, Tx

The bra cups aren't molded foam, they're just stretchy lycra/spandex fabric, leaving nipple outlines visible

HerRoom Response: This bra is a molded bra meaning molds were used in production. There are no seams like a cut and sew bra. In the future look for a bra with "Contour" or "T-Shirt" in the description like our Fantasie Smoothing T-Shirt Bra . Becky from VA

This bra probably would have been fine, had I not succumbed to Tomima's Tip and sized down in the band/up in the cup. I could barely fasten the 32 band, but had too much room in the E cup. I was spilling out the sides, but the cup was loose and wrinkly. Disappointed.

Fantasie Response: Fantasie’s FL4520 Smoothing Seamless Balcony Bra is made of a great rigid “simplex” fabric which is designed to really give support & lift, to smooth out the wrinkles in cup try adjusting by pulling breast tissue from side forward. Another great option for a seamless bra is Fantasie’s Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire Bra FL2024 – not as rigid in cups for a totally wrinkle free look! Chloe from Wilmington

I really wish they would make this bra in 30GG/H. I have worn this style bra for probably 10 years years and through a pregnancy. My cup size went up after nursing and where I used to wear the 30G I now need a GG or H. I can not find any other bra that gives me the comfort support and rounded shape this one does. I end up buying the 32G, but once the band stretches too much I lose support. I guess I will have to find someone who does bra alterations to take in the back to get a good fit. I just wish fantasie would offer this style in my true size as it would be great to buy off the rack. Why is it so hard to find a bra without a padded cup or a ton of lace (that shows through tshirts in this size? Ana from CA

Love this! The back is more smoothing than most bras. This bra is almost a reduction bra, so it makes my breasts less prominent, which is very good and gives me an overall slim shape, but still gives them great lift and shape. Band size does run big and cup size a little small. I wear a 36FF in another style Fantassie bra and this one fit very differently. Also, it says "molded" cup, but its not what I would consider molded. It is just thin fabric for the cup and I was looking for more of a shape like the convertable bra has. However it is SUPER SUPER comfortable! I will be just exchanging it for a different size Erin from Chicago/IL

Fantasie Response: It could be that Fantasie’s Smoothing FL4520 Molded Cup is a bit too rigid or structured for your liking. Perhaps Fantasie's Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire Bra FL2024 would suit your needs – the “spacer” foam cups give just a little for ease of fit & comfort. Connie from Hernando Beach ,Florida

I needed a T-shirt bra. My usual size is 32F, but the "Tomima Tip" said that the band was running large and to order a size down and gave an example. I followed the advice, but the bra was too small. I couldn't even get it hooked! The other bra that I ordered was perfect. I ordered that one in 32F.

Fantasie Response: Susan - It is true we always suggest to go down in the band & up in the cup with this style, bras fit better when "anchored" snug around the back. It could be that the cups in the Smoothing FL4520 are running a bit too small for you, perhaps try sticking with the 30 band but go to the G cup. Another great alternative T-shirt bra is Fantasie's Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire Bra FL2024 which is more true to size in band & cup, stick to your usaul size 32F on this one. I am so sad that this bra does not come in my size a 30GG. What I love about this bra is that it gives excellent shape and support with a smooth silhouette. I know they say that a 3 part cup with seams is supposed to be more supportive but I have not found one bra as good lift as this. This gives the most youthful look too. It brings the girls out front, but since there is no padding it doesn't look ridiculous. It's not a pretty bra, but it gives lift and shape incomparable to every other bra I have tried. A pretty shape is far more important to me than a pretty bra. I am 5'2', with a very short upper torso, so the fully adjustable straps are a must. This bra also has short wires so that they don't dig in under the arms. Sometimes the straps slip off, but it does have a leotard back which helps to keep them in place. Another thing, my breasts are full and this gives good coverage but is cut low enough that it doesn't show when I wear tops that are more open low-cut. The center is small too which is nice because it doesn't dig into your sternum. I have not found any other bra that I like as much as this one. BUT now that my current ones are starting to get older I need a new bra! If anyone has a suggestion for a replacement let me know!

Fantasie Response: SJ - It sounds like FL4520 is really the bra that fits your body type & needs. It is unfortunate that your perfect 30GG size is not available. It might be worth sticking to this bra at 32G & having the band altered to fit snug for you. And please try Jana Underwire Molded Convertible Bra FL2832 as well. Be on the lookout for a new Fantasie bra that is to ship in May 2014, Echo Lace FL2941 Underwired Molded - it just might be perfect bra for you! SJ from MI

I went down a band size in this style as recommended and this was correct. Cups are soft but still supportive. I need bra styles that push my breasts to the center and this bra does this. The cups are very close together. This is a nice style to own when you have large breasts but don't want the additional volume of padding or thick cups. Sovay from Wisconsin

I thought I should give this Fantasie style a try, best bra I own to date. Lifts, supports and hides more than you might think even for an unlined bra (although I would not wear with a super thin or sheer top). Ok bra but not perfect for me. Band in back is too thin for a full figure bra...only two hooks, creates back fat. Poor side support...doesn't help support breasts from the side. Underwire shifts and is uncomfortable. Still 3 stars because it does fit my breasts which is hard and middle section lies flat on chest and no spillover. So hard to find a really great bra though!

Fantasie Response: When an underwire moves around or "shifts" this is an indication that the cups still might be too small & believe it or not the band is too lose making the bra uncomfortable to wear. Please refer to Herroom's Bra Fitting Advice Page to ensure that you are in the correct bra cup & band size. For more side support you might consider going to a more rigid firmer cup like: Jana Underwire Molded Bra FL2832 - Gives great side support with comfort & has the "J-Hook" option for even more comfort & support! I have a small body and large breasts and can never ever find something in a regular store. I've been wearing a 32DDD Wacoal bra for years cause that's the best I could do. But I finally found this site and discovered bras with a 30 band and much larger cups! YAY! This bra actually gets ALL THE WAY DOWN in between my breasts so they don't squeeze out in the middle and create uni-boob. It covers all my breast tissue and keeps it in place all day long. The bra itself is high quality, but it didn't work for me. It's not what I would call "molded" -- it's got a couple of layers, but it's soft and in no way molded. Unless I was sent the wrong one... it doesn't really cover up when you are, ahem, cold and was a little loose toward the top, but that's just me.

Fantasie Response: Kirsten- So sorry for the misunderstanding with Fantasie FL4520 cup constructon. Often times there is a misconception of the terminology used to define a molded vs. contour bra. Molded bras have cups which are machine molded from a single piece of fabric into a shape the manufacturer feels mirrors the preferred natural breast shape without any seams. Molded bras are usually unlined and may be either soft cup or underwire. They are seamless to create a smooth silhouette. Smoothing T-Shirt Bra FL4510 in 30D6 is the contour version of 4520. The innovative foam cups make this bra an essential for a smooth shape underneath all your fitted clothes! Full busted women can achieve a perky silhouette in this classic, comfortable style with excellant modesty coverage. A newer Fantasie contour style bra you should consider is Jana Underwire Molded Bra FL2832 in 30D6. This bra has a J-hook feature to convert to a racerback and is lower at the necks edge. This bra is amazing!! I have been wearing this for 4 years now! It fits me perfectly, and that's saying a lot because I have always had a really tough time finding a bra that works for my big natural breasts. To support them always meant sacrificing the sexy look of cleavage because all bras in my size are full coverage harnesses, but this bra lifts, separates, and still makes my breasts have a nice look of cleavage. FL4520 is a fabulous style for ladies who are full, firm, or augmented, or have a short upper torso (not a lot of room from the underside of the breast to the shoulder). Fortunately you have several seam-free choices in Fantasie: You might want to try our Esme Underwire Plunge Bra FL2471 style if you like a smooth unlined bra. Esme features centered straps to prevent slippage, and for maximum stability and support. If you prefer a bra offering complete modesty, perhaps give our Smoothing T-Shirt Bra FL4510 a try. FL4510 has foam mold cups which provide coverage without adding bulk. Ellen from N. Falmouth

This bra was not what I expected... It fit fine, but has NO padding at all! Had to return it!

Fantasie Response: Laraine- A very similar style from Fantasie is Smoothing T-Shirt Bra FL4510 in 38D5 . This balcony styling gives a lower center, and the cups have just enough foam for modesty without adding bulk. Another style to consider is Fantasie's Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire Bra FL2024 in 38D4 (Tomima's Tips suggest to Go down 1 cup size. This spacer foam will mold to your shape). The tri-dimensional foam provides lightweight contouring that's breathable and provides cool comfort. Great for warm-weather. Laraine from Hemet, CA

I cannot say enough about this bra, I just adore it! I wore those contour bras forever, thinking that was the only way I could get the support I need. I initially ordered this bra a couple years ago thinking it was a contour bra as well, and I was super unsure about keeping it since it wasn't what I was used to. I am so glad I did! This is my go to bra. I've ordered a few more since my first discovery of it. Basically, this bra is well priced, comfortable, supportive, and makes your boobs look awesome! It puts my slightly splayed breasts right in the middle of my chest, pointed straight and perky. It does all that without those heavy cups in contour bras (much more light and breathable). I am rambling now but this bra is AMAZING. Em from Virginia

No side support...gaps at sides...I always wear this brand..but this bra is horrible for shaping and support

Fantasie Response: Another more supportive style is our Fantasie Rebecca Molded Spacer Underwire Bra FL2024 in 36 D1. This contour, spacer foam option offers lightweight contouring that has seamless, semi-rigid contour cups. Go down 1 cup size, hence suggesting 36 D1. This spacer foam will mold to your shape. I wanted a MOLDED bra, which I thought was one that was 1/8 of an inch thick to offer some support and hide the nipples. This is flimsy material & an underwire. I suggest the FL4510 to anyone who is looking for a "lightly padded", or "strategically padded" bra.

Fantasie Response: This Fantasie style is very light and perfect for anyone who is firm, full, augmented or short in the upper torso. Our Fantasie Smoothing T-Shirt Bra FL4510 is also a balcony frame with a firmer cup than 4520 offering shape, without adding size and good modesty coverage. Judy

This is a softcup bra; it doesn't show very well in the picture, but if one of your breasts is smaller, the material will pucker. I do notice, however, that even if there's a little puckering when I put it on, the breast tissue seems to 'settle' and fills up the cup perfectly after an hour or two. Shanna from Waynesboro

This is a wonderful bra. The space between the cups is unusually perfect - the breasts are held apart rather than smooshed together; so I feel much slimmer wearing this bra. Please check out HerRoom's Universal Cup Size so you can be sure you are ordering the correct size in brands. You could try this bra in a 32F (or UCS 32D4). Returned because too small. Sizing instructions measured me as 35 and since I have always worn 34 that's what I ordered. WRONG. In addition, I'm accustomed to the Le Mystere type of molding which is superior and this bra falls short

Fantasie Response: The 4520 is a non-contour bra unlike most of the Le Mystere styles. There are other styles in Fantasie with a contour thicker cup like the 4510 or the 2024 Rebecca bra. You might also be a 34D5. Laurel from Greensburg, PA. USA

I read through lots of the review and thought this bra would work for me as an every day bra. Unfortunately, I did not feel very supported and the center part of the bra really dug into me. Not sure why. That hasn't really ever happened in any other bra. Overall, it looked like it fit right, it was just really dig into the middle of my ribs.

Fantasie Response: It sounds like the center gore of the bra is too high for your frame. You might want to try deco in freya that has a lower center gore but is a contour cup. There is also the esme in Fantasie style 2471 that might also work for you which is a smooth cup non-contour bra with a kicked-in back to it. Ashley from Arden, NC USA

I am only 5' and wear a size 14 petite but am blessed/cursed with a colossal bust that I do not want to have reduced surgically. I have spent a lot of money over the years trying all kinds of bras including expensive Wacoals and others. I was buying 36DDD, 38DDD, 40DDD but none of them fitted right or gave me enough uplift. Finally, I went to a wonderful bra fitter who put me in this Fantasie Balcony Bra. I wear a lot of fitted solid color silk and cotton tops to show off my jewelry so a good smooth fit is essential. The transformation was miraculous. She said I was a 38G which isn't made in this country. I love this bra and have bought six more since then. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is the straps They are too thin to stay put (I think my massive chest must weigh about 40 lbs) and they keep sliding down my shoulders so I have to wear a bra strap holder to keep it in place. Other than that I am very happy with this bra. Bess In the Big Apple Bess from New York

This style did not fit me as well as the Fantasie 4510. There was some side slip on this one.

Fantasie Response: The 4520 is a more relaxed fit than the 4510. One of these styles usually fits better than the other just depending on the customers preference. We have 2 new styles in Fantasie, the Esme and Rebecca which are both great styles you might want to try. The Esme is a smooth non-contour bra, and the Rebecca is a contour spacer-fabric bra coming out soon! TexasABC from Texas

When I first became too large for Victoria Secret bras, my mom took me to a specialty shop in the next town and I purchased this bra. 10 years later I found that I was still almost exclusively wearing this bra under my work clothes - even though it was getting a bit faded and one of the wires poked through the end a while ago! So I decided that despite all of the pretty, lacy bras in my drawer, that I really needed to reinvest in a couple of bras that I will wear every day - not just for special occasions. So I found the exact same bra that I purchased 10 years ago and bought it again in 3 different colors... and I haven't been disappointed! I've worn one of those three bras every day for the last 2 weeks. They're so comfortable and supportive and I really like the shape in them! Ileen from Washington, DC

I have worn this bra for years. I have not gained weight, in fact, if anything I have lost a little. Anyway, about 2 years ago when it was time to reorder this 4520, I tried it on and it was like I was putting on an E cup or something... I had to return it. The cups were far too small. Long story short I cannot wear this style anymore and I am very upset about it. So, 2 years ago, I got professionally re-fit and I am now in a 32 J or 32 JJ. I believe I am still a G (as G's used to be). I was a 34G for 10 + years!!! Anyway, now that I am 3 cup sizes bigger it is even harder to find a smooth T-shirt bra like this one. Super bummed. But, I still refer it to my smaller busted friends. :O) TAMARI from SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

I've been buying this bra for 4 years through another company. It's my favorite bra and it fits like a dream. I was disappointed on the bra this time because it puckers in the corners so now it is not smooth and can't be worn under a t-shirt. I'm not sending it back because I'm desperate for a bra, but I'm disappointed in the quality. Not sure if it's your company or that after 4 years of consistent quality and fit - I finally just got a "lemon."

Fantasie Response: Make sure you are in the correct size. Our bodies change all the time and you have to get measured to make sure your size has not changed. We have a new Fantasie smooth cup called Esme 2471 that fits great as another option for you. It has a little stretch at the top of the cup so the cup lays smoother and has a toe-back to help the straps stay on your shoulders better especially with sleeveless tops. C. Lind from Omaha

LOVE this bra! It is the only demi-style that I've ever found that works for my cup size. Highly recommend - but suggest a formal in-person fitting to start. I was wearing a wildly wrong size for YEARS but now could not be happier with how I look and the fit of my new bra! LD from Lansing, MI

I love this bra. Although I recognize that seamed bras are better for your overall breast health, sometimes you need something smooth under thin knits, and this is just the bra. There is no padding (good for me, I don't need that kind of help) so nipple show through could be an issue. The only slight downside - My breasts are not perfectly symmetrical so this bra is fitted to the larger breast. There is a miniscule amount of wrinkling on the smaller breast cup, which I have smoothed down toward the underwire. I am debating on tacking it there to keep line of the cup smooth. In accordance to the site's description; ordered the bra in a band size smaller and a cup size larger than normal. However, turned out that whilst the band size turned out to be a good fit; the cup size is still too small. Guess would have to order one in a bigger cup size then. Can't really comment on the bra since it didn't fit properly.

Fantasie Response: Stacey, sometimes we just have to experiment with style and size to get that perfect fit, and it sounds like you’re so close! Just go up another cup size to a 30FF, and you’ll be there. Stacey from WA

This hikes everything up and puts it where you want it. It's gravity defying. All fantasy bras lie flat between the boobs. The only bad thing is I've lost forty pounds and have gone from a 38 band size to a thirty four. Like many women I stuffed myself into a C cup for years spilling over. Now I realize that a DD makes me look smaller not bigger. This is a great bra for hourglass figures. Thanks Fantasie. Kathie Lou from United States

Favorite Bra. Looks good under almost anything. Comfortable. Well made. I like the fabric cups that do not stand up freely, as if made of cardboard, but still shape well. My only complaint would be that the top of the cup will pucker, may have to do with my age/sag though. S.L. from Indpls., In.

The sizing was way off in this bra. Couldn't even get in on. The cups were more likely in the B range, definitely no where near a DD. Can't offer much more of a review because I couldn't get in on!

This bra is a good fit and pretty true to size maybe runs a little small. I like the smoothness of this bra but if you are looking for a lot of shaping or support from this one, it may not be the one for you. Most of my bras are the 3 part cups that provide awesome shape and support but you can't wear a lot of the tops I like because the seams tend to show through or cause a visible distraction. This bra does not do that which is why I decided to keep it for a weekend bra with my t-shirts, etc.. Now the hunt will continue for a smooth bra that provides the same shape and support as my 3 part cup bras.

Fantasie Response: You are right that the 3-part cups usually give more support. You might try the Fantasie 4510 that has a similar shape to the 4520 but it is a contour cup that will give you more lift and support. The 4520 gives a more relaxed round shape and the 4510 gives more projection and a great shape for your t-shirts. Brenda from Phx, AZ, USA

First of all ... what a nice surprised to get my bras wrapped in purple tissue!!! NEVER got that kind of service from a mail order before. Very nice touch. I haven't decided if I am going to return this bra or not. I read the reviews before I purchased it and as some state it does not fit smooth. The cup material does pucker some. Yes I did SHAKE the girls in and pulled from all directions. I need a good t-shirt bra that doesn't show lines. I do not want the hard molded bra and I can't wear the ones that have the higher sides because they come to far into my armpit. But I LOVE these bras. They are the first ones I have found in 40+ years that actually lay flat against my chest in the middle. I am going to try it on again and shake and pull one more time before I decide if I am going to return it or not. I wish someone carried these in my area. If I have to buy on line I will buy from HerRoom..loved the additional touch. cathy from Lincoln Nebraska

I bought this bra in a 32E to start with and was way to small. I returned it and went up a size and felt more comfortable but the wire still dug into my sides, and felt itchy. On the bright side it makes your boobs looks smaller and more appealing. Overall though, I'm returning it and getting a whole different bra.

Fantasie Response: Even the most perfectly constructed bra in the world can’t do its job, and will be uncomfortable if it’s an incorrect size. If the wire is still digging into your side, it’s a sure indication that the cup is too small: I’d go up a cup size to a 32FF… Fan4520 has been in the Fantasie “family” for years, and has its own very loyal following. I must say, I’ve never found this bra to be itchy. It provides a very natural, subtle round shape which we love! Taylor from Rockton/IL/US

Fantasie Response: You need to be fuller at the top to fill out this bra! It is also a great style for someone with a shorter upper torso. You should try the Fantasie 4510 that is the contour version of the 4520 which will alleviate the puckering at the top of the cup! Julie from Brighton, MI

This is the second bra I've ordered in this style, one white, one nude. It's a comfortable bra, especially for the summer months. I appreciate that it's light weight while being supportive. It's also cut deeply enough in the front to fit nicely under cami's, v-neck or scoop neck tops. My only wish is that this bra would be available in an ivory. I would have preferred that over the darker nude. Otherwise, a great fitting bra that looks great under tees. Elaine from Niantic, CT USA

There is no molding in this bra. The cup size for me was probably too big, but I really wanted show-through protection so I am not exchanging. The bra's band is true to size, but make sure to use American sizing when ordering the cup size.

Fantasie Response: The 32E is 3 D’s. In the bra description molded cup means it is heat molded when constructing the bra, but does not mean the cup is a contour cup which has a little lining in the cup, that is a more rigid and thicker cup. It can be very confusing. Please try the Fantasie bra 4510 contour cup in a 32DD. This bra will suit your needs better than the Fantasie 4520. Stacy from Urbana, IL

It seemed like it was well made, but it didn't fit at all. I always order the same size in many different brands, but this one did not fit at all. The cups were way too big.

Fantasie Response: You could try this bra in a 32F or a 32E depending on if the cup was one or 2 sizes too bi. We also make the Fantasie 4510 Fantasie 4510 which is a balcony smooth cup bra that has a contour cup versus a softer cup like the 4520. Melissa from St. Louis

The straps slip off my shoulders...difficult to continually use the additional wrap clasp!! I am disappointed that this molded cup bra does NOT come with central shoulder straps....can't find one in my size that does??!!

Fantasie Response: If the straps are falling off your shoulders the band size could be too big which would mean that you need a 32GG bra with a centered strap. The Fantasie 4500 has a centered strap and runs fuller in the cup so you could try it in a 32G cup. Roseann from Canterbury CT USA

This bra sort of fit and sort of didn't fit. I was disappointed with this one as I have other Fantasie bras and this was just cutting it too close. The band fit well but the cup cut across my breast, not enough to give me a "quadra-boob" effect, but it looked if I bent over my breast would fall out and yet the cup wasn't big enough on the sides where I was spilling out. The other version of this bra did not come in my size. I had to return.

Fantasie Response: It sounds like the cup was too small for you. The Fantasie 4500 is a smooth cup as well but runs a lot fuller. Keep in mind that it runs a cup size big. Rebekah from Philadelphia, PA, USA

I returned the Fantasie 4520 Seamless Molded Balcony Bras to your company as they did not support me well enough and I ordered a couple of Fantasie 4500 Molded Smooth Cup bras instead, which I love!

Fantasie Response: Glad you’ve fallen for our 4500, we think it’s pretty great ourselves! This bra runs a full cup size larger than 4520, and it’s actually built on a completely different frame. The straps come from the center of the cup (great for ladies with narrow shoulders), and the cup provides more coverage. Lora from Powell WY USA

Did not fit at all and had no support.

Fantasie Response: 4520 is a seam-free bra without a foam mold which many customers who don’t want anything “extra” prefer. 4520 does seem to work best on busts with the “Three Fs”: Full, Firm, or Fake! It’s also a wonderful bra for those ladies who have a “short upper torso” (by that we mean not a lot of room from the underside of the breast to the shoulder). Also please remember to “swoop-and-scoop” the breast tissue from the back to the front to fill the cups: This step is vital for any bra in any brand to fit properly and to give you the full benefits of support! You might want to try our basic foam molded T-shirt bra 4510… Chic grandmother from Smyrna,GA

Very pretty and well constructed, and width of sides (under arms) works well for "petites". However, low ranking only because cup size way too small. Additionally, the straps seemed to be set a little too wide for my shoulders. Sheila from Grove City, Ohio, USA

I ordered this bra in part because it says it has molded cups. The cups are very soft and it looks terrible on. I will be exchanging it for something more supportive.

HerRoom Response: Yes, this bra has molded cups. You are probably wanting contour cups - thin layer of foam for modesty.

You might want to try our basic foam molded T-shirt bra 4510Aimee from Azle, TX, USA

Did not like the way it fit at all. I ordered my size and it seemed too big. Did not support like the reviews said it did and there were wrinkles all along the breasts.

Fantasie Response: This is one of our very favorite bras, but certainly, it’s not for everyone. It works best on busts that have the three ‘F’s: Full, Firm, Fake! It’s also a wonderful bra for ladies with a “short upper torso” (by that we mean ‘short’ from the underside of the breast, to the shoulder).

Also a reminder: “Swoop-and-scoop” the breast tissue from the back to the front, to fill the cups… -this step is absolutely vital with ANY bra, in ANY brand –to fit properly and to give you the full benefit of support. iceprincess from California

I have 5 of these bras previously purchased at department store over the past 5 years, absolutely love them. However, 'm sorry to say the one I just purchased does not fit well. Instead of giving the lift and fitting comfortably as the other 5 do the cups on this one are ill-fitting, there is no lift and it's just not comfortable. I don't remember anything stating it was an irregular, but unfortunately that is how I feel it fits. I washed it so I have no intention of returning it, but I'm sorry to say the next one I purchase and I will purchase the same style again will be purchased from the department store.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear it did not fit. HerRoom does not deal in seconds. Everything we sell is direct from the manufacturer.

Fantasie Response: Patty, I’m very puzzled by your HerRoom experience. If the style and size you ordered from HerRoom are the same as the style and size you purchased from another store, the fit and feel should be absolutely the same! Patti from Tempe/AZ/USA

I love this bra. I wish they made the light pink color in my size, but I'm content with the beige. It's super comfy both on the wire and in the band. I bought a 2nd one just so I'd have one to wear around when the first is in the wash. The cup is fairly full and as it heats up with your body heat it molds a bit to your shape. 5 stars! I bought some more of these for my hard-to-fit daughter. She has tried many different brands and models to support her quite large boobs on her short, plump body and this is her favorite bra. I recommend this model based on her claim of comfort. The straps and back don't cut into her, while the molded fit keeps things in their place. One bra worn daily, lasted her a solid year, so they are well made. Joy from Mississippi, USA

I like the feel of this bra, the fit is very comfortable and I love that the material is not stretchy. The cups are narrow and set close together, which I like, since I have a small ribcage and most bras in my size are very wide set. So this bra gives a nicely rounded, natural shape. That being said, I think the fit is a bit off. It seems to run small in the cup and the band was too big on me. I do have a larger breast-by as much as 2 cup sizes in some bras- so if you are in the same situation, I suggest going up a cup, as this bra will not stretch at all to accommodate the larger breast. Sent it back and would have gotten the same one, but they did not have it in 30H... Ramona from Sacramento, CA

I do not think this bra is worth the price tag. I have had good experiences with Fantasie bras in the past but this one does not seem to match the others in quality. The bra is super thin so there is absolutely no modesty in nipple coverage. I just feel like I could have gone to a discount store and paid $15 for a bra like this.

Fantasie Response: 4520 is one of our all-time favorites so I’m really sorry your experience wasn’t a good one. It’s a seam-free bra without a foam mold which many of our customers actually prefer. But if you’re looking for that “modesty factor” you would want a foam mold contour cup bra… Happily Fantasie has several styles to choose from: 4510 is our basic T-shirt style, or if you’re in the mood for a bra with a bit more “fizz” you might like Rhiannan 2222 which is cut a little lower in the center front than 4510 and sports a subtle print. You might also love Ava 2132 with a sexy plunging neckline and gorgeous lace accents for an elegant sophisticated look. Shopper

Very comfortable for a bra with an underwire. Side smoothing in the back is nice. True to size. Takes a few days to break it in and a couple washings, but then it's comfortable enough for those 12-18 hour days. Let's face it, when you are a size 40E, any bra is going to be uncomfortable by the end of the day, but this one provides support and comfort for as long as you need it. It fit great, but offered poor support, had cone-shaped cups, and was yet another bra built thinking my girls are in my armpits.

Fantasie Response: It might very well be that you’re not in the correct size. I’m a bit puzzled by your description of the cups being ‘cone shaped’ as the shape of the cups in 4520 provide a very subtle rounded shape –some would say the shape is even somewhat minimizing. The cups are non-stretch for stable support. Perhaps you would prefer a seamless bra with a foam mold: Fantasie has lots of styles to choose from such as 4510 (our basic T-shirt bra)… or 2222 Rhiannan which is cut slightly lower at the center front, and sports a subtle print for that “pop” of fashion… or 2132 Ava with a plunging neckline, and trimmed with Swiss guipure lace for a very elegant sexy look. All of these styles will bring the breast tissue forward out of the armpits, and will give a more defined silhouette. Erika from WI

I was quite disappointed. This was supposed to be a 32E bra. It was more like a 32B or C as far as I could tell. I had to return it. It looked ok, but I had no way to know if it would have worn nicely or not.

Fantasie Response: #4520 is one of our most beloved and popular bras, and it does run true to size, so I don’t quite understand why the cups were so small. (Could it have been mis-marked!?) If you’ve been wearing 32DDDs in an American brand you might need to go up a cup size in Fantasie (32F). Our European fit is more a specific, or “custom” fit than some of the US brands, so it’s very important to get the size right! Never be afraid to go up in the cup. Cris from Spokane WA

This bra has no padding, and therefore no shaping. Not the type of bra I am looking for as a 24 year old. I wasn't aware of that when I ordered. The cup also fit strange, with extra material that stuck out on the side. Maybe this bra works well for others, but it definitely was not for me. Happy bra shopping!

Fantasie Response: It’s obvious that you’re looking for a bra with a foam mold –which also helps with the “modesty factor”. You might want to try these Fantasie foam mold T-shirt styles: Fantasie 4510 , a classic T-shirt bra; Rhiannon 2222 , which features a Roman-inspired script print and is cut slightly lower in front than 4510 ; or Ava 2132 , which is cut lower still, and has gorgeous Swiss guipure detailing on the straps –a very special luxury touch! The cup size of this bra was three sizes too small. I found the same to be true with a second garment - different brand. I wonder if these bras are just mismarked. I have ordered new sizes and will see if they are more in keeping with what I would expect in a 36F.

HerRoom Response: We would suggest you look at our conversion chart to find your correct size in this brand. You say you are a 36DD, but you ordered a 36F which is 2 cup sizes larger. Betsy from Gilboa, NY

I really wanted this bra to work, but neither I nor my daughter could fill it out properly. The full-cup style is just too large for our lower-hanging, bottom-heavy shape, even in our large cup sizes; there just isn't enough tissue on top to fill the full cup. I suspect it would work well for rounder shapes.

Fantasie Response: 4520 works best on busts that have one or more of the “Three Fs” (Full, Firm, or Fake). It’s also a wonderful bra for those ladies who have a short upper torso, meaning not much room from the underside of the breast to the shoulder. Please remember to swoop and scoop the breast tissue from the back to the front to fill the cups: This step is vitally important to ensure the proper fit of any bra in any brand. 4500 is a full-cup style and runs a full cup size larger than 4520, so maybe this style would work a cup size smaller… Alternatively, you might want to try our 4510, a basic foam-molded T-shirt bra. If you’re looking for something with a bit more fashion, and a sassy lower center front, try our Rhiannon T-shirt bra #2222. Deanna from CA

Looked good out of the package but the band size was slightly large, I'm closer to a 38 than a 40 so it's difficult sometimes to find a good fit. The cup size was small, in this brand I normally wear a 38ff and this was an experiment. However, for all larger busted women, the straps were thin, stretchy and unsupportive even if the size were correct. I returned both bras this week and will keep on trying to find a t-shirt bras as well as one that hooks in the front for pending shoulder surgery.

Fantasie Response: Very often I go down in the band in this style, and you’re correct, if you’re accustomed to wearing a fuller coverage cup bra, the cups in 4520 can seem a bit smaller as it’s a lower cut balcony shape. If you’re looking for more support all ‘round, perhaps you’d like style 3911 in our Elomi brand. It too is a smooth T-shirt bra without a foam mold, but the cup provides fuller coverage, the band is a bit wider, and the straps are thicker and firmer to give the ultimate support and comfort. I had to send the bra back - unfortunately! To me, "molded" meant molded cup, and it was not. Trying to replace 4515 bra, which, again unfortunately, has been discontinued.

Fantasie Response: 4520 is a seam-free molded cup bra without a foam mold which many customers who do not want anything “extra” prefer. Fantasie 4515 which you love has a foam mold which helps with the modesty factor. The great news is that we have a bra in the Fantasie collection which is built on exactly the same frame as 4515! It’s a gorgeous T-shirt bra called Rhiannon style 2222. This bra features a subtle print and comes in Nude, so it’s perfect under even the most unforgiving of tops. Nitia, if you’re pining for 4515, I know you’ll love Rhiannon! Nitia from Dallas, TX USA

I love this product and have been purchasing them from a specialty store for a few years. When I just had my 3rd baby, it makes things much harder to get to the store to try on and be fitted. I found these online and was so happy to order them. I knew they would fit great. I even use them while nursing. It would take a LOT to make me switch to and wear another type of bra. These are great for lifting and separating. SERIOUSLY! I love them. Aimee from Sibley, MO USA

The Fantasie Smoothing bra is SO comfortable and well made, that when it didn't fit me I just wanted to cry. The lower cups fit perfectly, as did the wire diameter and band, but the upper cups had awful vertical wrinkling. The cups are shaped such that you MUST have very full, round breasts (or fakes) for them to fit properly. Pay attention to the reviews and fitter's comments so you won't be in for disappointment!

That being said, this is a superbly well constructed and again, super comfortable bra. The cup material is not like most molded cups I've seen. Material on this type of bra is usually thin and very stretchy. On this bra, however, the fabric has very little stretch and is actually pretty tough. I can tell that it would offer great support and smoothness in the right size. Easy to see how this would be a hit. Unfortunately I ordered the smallest size offered so I'm out of luck. Such a bummer. :-(

Fantasie Response: We’re so sorry this bra didn’t work for you. You are quite correct, in order for this bra to work, it helps to have the three F’s: Full, firm or fake. Also, this bra is absolutely terrific if you have a short upper torso (not a lot of room from underneath the breast to the shoulder). It sounds like you are a very petite frame. You might like our Freya Deco 4234: It’s extremely plungey and sexy and gives a very natural, rounded look… soft, yet so supportive, wonderful for the petite gal! Sara from Buffalo

The cups didn't fit well. I also bought the Fantasie Molded Smooth Cup and the cups fit perfectly, so I was surprised by the difference. Elastic straps allowed too much bounce for my taste.

Fantasie Response: Unfortunately, Fantasie #4520 isn’t for everybody… If you like a contour cup you have lots of choices in Fantasie 4510, 2132 and 2222 –all different from one another, with something fabulous to offer for everyone. Sarah from Bosie/Idaho/USA

Unfortunately the DD in this brand is a true DD. The cups are very small, width wise compared to my other DD bras from HerRoom. The underwires do not stay in place and shift towards the center causing painful poking. For a balcony bra there wasn't much in the way of lifting. A very disappointing purchase.

HerRoom Response: It does sound like the cups are too small to contain all of the breast tissue. In order for the bra to be able to give lift and support, all of the breast tissue needs to be surrounded by the under-wire.

Fantasie Response: Perhaps you would prefer a contour cup bra: Fantasie offers 4510, 2222, and 2132. I would recommend going up one or two cup sizes –but NOT a band size! Note: We offer a very specific fit, so if you are accustomed to wearing U.S. brands it’s not going to be unusual to go up in the cup size in a UK brand… Never be afraid to go up in the cup as generally, most of us are wearing our cups too small in the first place. Finally, I have found a bra that fits! And even better, its comfortable too! I can wear this all day and I feel great and secure, I think I even look a little smaller now that I am wearing a bra that keeps me in the right places. I am just so pleased that I found Fantasie and they have sizes for small girls with big chests! The only reason why I took them down 1 star is because I hadn't realized that the bra did not have any padding to avoid nipple show through. Regardless I intend to try more of the Fantasie brand, and might even buy another 4520. Thank you! Halee from Arkansas

This one didn't work for my, shall we say, gravity-affected shape. If you imagine the cups are divided into quadrants, the upper outside quadrant of the cups (the part where the straps attach) wrinkled badly as if the cups were too large, but in the upper center quadrant, I think I would have spilled over had I gone with a smaller cup size. Tried repositioning, etc, but no luck. Also, the lift effect was not as good as with the contour-cup style I like from another manufacturer. It may be that molded cup bras like this one just aren't up to the job in my case, and I need to stick with contour cup bras.

Fantasie Response: 4520 is one of our favorite bras, but it’s not for everyone. Usually you need the “three Fs” for this one: Full, Firm, and Fake (‘fake’ meaning implants)... Also if one has a short upper torso (not much room from the underside of the breast to the shoulder) this bra is amazing! You might want to try our newest Fantasie contour cup T-shirt bra Rhiannon. It’s a very easy fit, with a subtle fashionable print, and so lifted and supportive! If you were wearing a 32F in 4500 (from your previous review on 4500) you would need a 32E in 4520. Hands down, best bra I've found. It holds, lifts and also gives nice cleavage that isn't over the top for everyday life. If I want deeper cleavage, I sometimes wear a more padded bra, but I don't like adding padding and appearing even larger. I feel it runs just slightly large...it's the only bra I own that I need a DD instead of a D. (Usually a 34D). The two things I'd love to change - I wish it looked a bit sexier...but I'll give that up for function. And, the straps are kind of large and unattractive - but I realize they are part of why it is such a great supportive bra. I just wish they were a little more attractive and for when I want to wear a tank or shirt that they may show a bit. Laura from Oakland County, MI

I have had very large breasts since i was 16 (very large being bigger than a DDD) and it was so hard to find a bra that supported me, didn't try and flatten me and didn't have any shaping or padding (I sure don't need it). This is the BEST bra ever. I actually use it as a nursing bra - I just drop the strap and peel the cup back. (I have a friend who converts it using a nursing bra clip and elastic) I've tried them all. Soft cup, underwire, cone shaped, molded, seamed, etc and nothing out there on this side of the pond offers as much support or shaping for my poor, tired, overworked breasts. I'm 5'7" - but short in torso - broad shouldered and have a 1 cup discrepancy between sides. The underwire doesn't stab me in the underarms, the straps sit perfectly on my shoulders and this company understands that a G or H cup does NOT mean a 44 band! I love this bra! At first I bought a 32E, and the cups were too small. After I exchanged for a 32F, this has become my favorite bra. I bought two! Very comfortable straps, underwire, and cups. The only downside is that, like most non-push-up bras, there isn't any contouring in the front, so you might also need some 'petals'. Lauren from Ohio

I'm relatively happy with this bra. I'm adjusting to the fact that the size I'm fitted for feels super tight and therefore uncomfortable...yet seems to hold everything where it should be. First time I've had a bra that doesn't move/lift when I do and looks so much better under my clothes. Since it doesn't have contour foam, it does show more nipple than I'd like, but at least doesn't have a ton of padding that someone in my size doesn't need! I thought there were a few spots that were scratchy which I thought would hurt, but so far haven't felt them once on. Sweets from Illinois

This is absolutely the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. I am hard to fit because I have a large cup size and a petite frame, and have yo-yo'd on my weight... but the I found the Fantasie 4520 a few years ago and was thrilled. FINALLY a bra that fits!!! It provides a smooth look without padding and is the first bra to accurately accommodate my F cup size without being too bulky everywhere else, and is the first bra I have ever found to have the wires fit me properly on the chest sitting flat on my sternum, separating and lifting. It's a natural fit with good support and looks great under t-shirts, sweaters, even dresses. It is now my only bra - I have many in all colors to fit my wardrobe. I'm tall and thin with a narrow back (32) and D cup, and need a good support bra to preverve those Cooper's Ligaments! This bra seemed flimsy and not very supportive (alot of bounce and the straps are really stretchy). I believe the descrlption of "molded" balcony bra is misleading; there is absolutely no molding or foam in this bra. I have the fantasy 4500 and it gives better support but is too revealing under a t-shirt. I was hoping this bra would offer more "concealment". I would really like to try the Elomi bras (they look really supportive) but I see they are not available in 32 band size. Overall, though, I love your website and thorough descrlptions of the garments.

Fantasie Response: Molding does not mean “foam” it means seamless and molded with heat. I would suggest Frey's new Deco Bra 4234 or Fantasie 4510 for a “molded” bra with concealment. tallgirl from wisconsin

Compared to the other Fantasie bra I purchased (6820), this one is a little bigger in the cup for me, but would work. My breasts are not exactly what you would call "full" ones. Yes, a little shallow up top. Unfortunately, the wire that sits against my sternum seems to dig. I tried to readjust it several times, but to no avail. So I will return it. Not sure if its the style or this bra in particular.

Fantasie Response: A perfect alternative is the NEW Freya 4234 Deco in a 36G (UK size equivalent to a USA 36I); it’s great for those “less firm” breasts. A cut and sewn bra such as Freya Rio 3510 is also a good choice; cut and sewn bras provide great “up lift” and support - Betty

Freya 4234 Deco would be a great alternative. And as Deco has a deep plunge front, the wires would sit much lower on the sternum, and you would most likely not feel them at all. - Freddy Deb from Colorado

Very comfortable bra - Of all the ones I purchased to try, I kept this one. But there is serious show-through on the cups. And because my breasts are so large, they are heavy. The straps drag down the front and pull up the back. I don't think that's the bra's fault. I just have a heavy chest.

Fantasie Response: See note on style 4500 (kiki) for this customer in regards to the “I” cup; A perfect alternative is the NEW Freya 4234 Deco in a 36G (UK size equivalent to a USA 36I) -- Betty

Yes, but I would buy Freya 4234 Deco in a 34GG. Deco runs a bit fuller in the band and the 34-band would ensure the band wouldn’t ride up, and it would give her breasts better overall support. An added bonus is that Deco has a thin foam mold which will take care of the “show through” issue. -Freddy Kiki from Atlanta

I just got my smoothing balcony bra, and wow, what a great fit. I think this one fit better than any of the other Fantasie balcony bras I own, and they too fit really well. What I noticed right away was how soft the fabric was all around. Where the straps meet the cup doesn't rub or irritate. The support is amazing, and the shape is just right. My girls are as snug as a bug in a rug. Great position and lift. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because at the very top, the material wrinkles a little, so it doesn't give quite the smoothness I was hoping for. You can see it a little under my tighter shirts. Maybe after a few more washes it will be more flat, but I have tried to manipulate my girls all which way, but no success. I noticed that when I tighten the straps to its tightest point it does help, however, that makes it too uncomfortable for my shoulders. I also have a shoulder condition, so that may be the reason its uncomfortable when its tightened all the way. Otherwise, that little flaw is nothing compared to the comfort. It really is comfortable. I feel supported, and the material is wonderful. It definitely isn't lined, so anyone who expects to have a thicker cup, this isn't for you. Although, I don't like thicker cups as it doesn't conform to my breast, unless its the memory foam cups that Fantasie has available in the Isabella and Francesca line (which is wonderful, gotta try it). So, overall a great bra, and I highly recommend. Tammy from Orange County, CA, US

This is not a cold weather bra. Turns out there's a difference between molded and contoured. Who knew?

I like that the wires lie flat against my breast bone. It gives good separation and OK lift and support and looks pretty good under my lower cut shirts. I don't like the puckering at the tops of the cups and I can't keep the left shoulder strap up. I've shortened it until it hurts, and it slipped off. I've loosened it and it falls off. I just don't know what the problem is, or what to do about it.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry that you didn't understand the difference between contour and molded. We have a great glossary for these kinds of things. Again, a contour bra will have modesty in the cups. We are also afraid that some of your symptoms are due to the fact that you are petite in stature. Please see our petite plus size bras.

Fantasie Response: On the puckering part: This bra is for the “firm / full” breast customer. If the breast are “pendulous” it will not fit well. You may also want to try Fantasie 2132 (go up a cup size so order a 34GG). Cindy from Tukwila, WA USA

I am 5-6 and 125 lbs. This bra is perfect for a thin person who has a full bust. It looks great under the thinnest t-shirts (nothing shows through) or suits, and gives a nice cleavage to a medium to low cut top. And even in 30F it feels like you are wearing a sexy bra. One note, the sizes for each style can be different. I can be anywhere from 32D to 30DD and my other Fantasie bras (style 4500) are 30D, I had to order 30F for a proper fit even though the customer service rep told me to order 30D. I loved this for the first 3 months that I wore it, it was a fantastic fit, gave my breasts a lovely shape and was comfortable. However , now I am falling out of the bottom of the band, I have to adjust myself constantly to the point that I have stopped wearing it. I usually replace bras about every 6-9 months if they are a favorite and constantly worn, but 3 months seems too soon for a bra to show this much wear. It is such a shame , because it was a great bra but I would not repurchase. The search continues for a bra that fits my very bosomy, very short-waisted self! Elizabeth from NYC/NY

I really like this bra. I like the position of the straps on the shoulders. This bra really looks nice under my clothes and gives the 'girls' that uplifting look that they need. I also wear the Fantasie 4500, but I wear that bra in size 30DD. It took me a couple of orders to get the size correct on the Fantasie 4520, but with the easy return policy that was not a problem!! Give this bra a try, I think you'll like the look!! Lana, LOVE THIS BRA from Oklahoma, United States

Wow!! What a great bra.....IF you have fuller breasts on the top. I have nursed 4 children and the girls just aren't what they used to be. The bra fit very well. Band was perfect and cup size was perfect BUT, the cup around the top of the breast "puckered" just a bit. I dipped, scooped, pulled tucked...I did the bra filling dance to try to make this bra fit right....but, I don't have the fuller upper breast tissue to make it fit right. VERY nice bra. Needs a little more "lining" to insure nipple coverage, but overall a great bra. I am sad it didn't work out for me. Wendy from Wichita, Kansas

Very comfortable, gives the girls a good shape; gravity has won the battle and this bra is a reasonable alternative to a surgical strike. Still a tiny bit of spill on the side but I don't think a larger size would have worked. I find it very difficulty to find comfortable bras that fit a small back and large, gravity challenged breasts. This one does a decent job. Beth from Charlotte

Great support and seamless fit. My only gripe with this bra is the sizing. I wear a 32E comfortably. However, this bra goes by British sizing, so the 32E is really a 32DDD in US sizing and therefore fits a tad smaller than what I'm accustomed to. The next size up would be too big, so I stayed with the 32E/32DDD. Sarah from New York

I love this bra. It fits me like a glove, very smooth under garments including t-shirts. My twins tend to spill out over the top of most bras...but not with this one, they stay in place! I have 2: white and black. The black seems to be a snugger fit than the white in my size. The support is superb. My only gripe is it isn't thick enough to cover my nipples. Sarah from New York

Doesn't fit quite right, so the fabric tends to pucker a bit and it shows through T-shirts sometimes. I sew, and took some tucks in it, but it still puckers right below the straps. I decided to keep it, and I do have to say it is comfortable and fits well around the band.

HerRoom Response: The puckering you are speaking about usually means the cup size is a little to large for you, and/or your breast tissue in the top of your breast has lessened. You might want to try the C cup size. Rose from Mesa

I sent this back because the cups were too big, & tried it in a 30e. Cups too small. Tried them both several times & found out something I've never read about. My size seems to change from day to day & sometimes from AM to PM. On "big" days the 30f fits perfectly & on "smaller" days the 30e fits like it was made for me. I know one changes at different times of the month, but I'm 62. Guess I need to buy 2 sizes of everything. dorothy from Punta Gorda, FL

I'm not sure why they call this bra "molded," as there is nothing molded about it. It is just your basic unlined t-shirt bra. Great fit and shape if you don't mind nipple show-through. The wires are definitely shorter under the arms as the HerRoom comments point out which caused me to spill out on the sides. I think this is probably a great bra just not for me. I'm a pretty petite person, except for my chest, and now that The Girls are where they should be on my body, I look and feel better than ever. I can't thank Fantasie or HerRoom enough. I will buy all the colors of this bra and probably many more! I would say the only con about this bra is there is literally no padding. Great Bra! Holds the girls up, and keeps them front and center instead of pushed out to the sides like so many larger cup bras. No padding, at all (which I don't need), but still gives you a very smooth look as there are no seams. It's not a minimizer, but makes you appear smaller just because things are where they belong and supported. Great T-shirt bra! Hey lets face it, great bra for anything! Doesn't give you a rounded look, but more like a natural look. Great profile! My only complaint is that the band runs big - which seems to be a Fantasie Bra trait. I have a 30E, and have to hook it on the last row of hooks. My new favorite bra !!! Bonnie from Conklin, NY

I really like this bra! Great support with minimal coverage. It really lifts my breasts and makes them go forward without that horrible torpedo look. It is good for short women as the underwires are short. It is nice to wear under lower cut shirts. The center of the underwires actually lays against my breast bone, which hasn’t happened in any bra I've owned since I was a much smaller cup size. That has taken some getting used to since I can feel it there. It is not uncomfortable, just different. The straps are thin, which is great for summer. They are a bit wider set than I would like, but they do not fall off my shoulders now that I have tightened the straps. I'm not sure why this is called a molded bra as there is no padding and the cups are not foam. For a full cup I am wearing a Goddess 3910. Thanks for your great options HerRoom! Kristin from Iowa

I was disappointed. Although the concept of this bra is exactly what I was looking for, the fit was impossible. I am pretty reliably a 32DD through a variety of brands and find that balconies fit me the best, but these cups were way too small for me--I bulged out everywhere. I don't think this bra can be said to run true to size, at least not in my size. I'm hoping that customer service can advise me if I just need to purchase a larger cup size in this style. This is a very nice bra. The straps are a comfortable strechy fabric and the bra creates good cleavage. Because I'm very busty with a small torso I tend to wear lower cut blouses as the higher cuts make me look too boxy or deformed. I was not as happy with the bra when I received it as I thought I would be. The cup does not at all seem molded, and the cup seems more demi than full. I only wear fantasie bras, and was a little off on this one. though i opted to keep the bra because i truly needed black for an upcoming wedding, i would continue to order fantasie, but i think you should look at this description further.

I am consistently a 36DD in 'Fantasie' and every other brand and style of bra that I've bought over the past month - Elle McPherson, a different Fantasie balcony, a Bali "Passion for Comfort" bodysuit; ditto a Wacoal "Bodysuede" one; Barbara, Freya, Empreinte, Marie Jo, Lejaby, Aubade, Panache, Caprice, Lise Charmel, Antigel, and Moving Comfort. Same thing with the Chantelle and Le Mystere bras that I already owned: they contain all of me too in my usual size. (I'm 'revising' my underwear drawers this year rather than buying any clothes.) So, I'm shocked that this model is so unsatisfactory on me. Yesterday when I received it and tried it on, I suddenly had flesh and fat protruding out the sides of a bra for the first time in my life. Ugly or what! As best as I can ascertain, the cut of this bra is the problem. I don’t think it’s the fact that it’s molded and unlined that’s causing the problem. It's definitely skimpy on the sides. Also, there are vertical wrinkles on the front of the cups that I can't get rid of by re-positioning my breasts. I've never had that happen before either because I am full and rounded on top. The band fits well and follows the "2-finger" rule. I notice that although this model is called a 'balcony', it doesn't look like one at all! Its shape lacks conviction - and therefore, style - across the top. Instead, it's somewhere between a 'full cup' and a balcony. It's not a demi or 3/4 cup either. The other Fantasie 'balcony' bra I recently bought is a true balcony, has flair and fits perfectly. I'll have to search again for a non-contour, non-padded or foamed, plain molded bra to wear as a T-shirt bra. I will probably try "Wacoal's Bodysuede" line–if I have enough money left to buy it - because I recently bought the bodysuit in that line and the bra part contains all of me. It’s really hard to find a good bra of this type for a reasonable price. Which is a pity for those of us who don’t want to add even ½” to our bustlines; or who are tired of seeing mainly boring ‘foamware’ and shapewear in department stores. Beverley from Canada

This is by far the absolute best fitting bra I have ever owned! I love how the cups are seamless and offers a sexy cleavage for those low cut tops or tanks. The first time I wore it I felt as though I was 10 lbs lighter. I felt more confident about my larger chest size. And I love the fact that the cups have no lining or padding. Only a real, natural look remains. If you are in your correct size, this bra fits amazingly. It gives you good support, smooth and nicely shaped breasts that look awesome under a t-shirt or a tank top. Fantasie 4520 is the ONLY bra I wear. Sizing is the issue I have with Fantasie; check out their sizing chart...and if that doesn't help send HerRoom an email with your exact problem. They are great about getting back to you with an answer. But, once you finally find the size that fits you best you won't regret it. HerRoom is great about allowing you to return an item if it doesn't fit properly, so it is well worth your time and money. Granted this is not a very inexpensive bra, but for me it is worth EVERY penny. As I had said in a previous review, PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THIS BRA, FANTASIE!! TAMARI from Southern California

Great bra, especially under t shirts because it is totally seamless up front. It is confusing that it says "molded" because it isn't lined, but that was exactly what I wanted - an unlined and unpadded full support bra. This is a great everyday bra. I tried it first after being fitted at a lingerie shop and was told "Put this one on honey- it will make you look taller!" In fact, it does seem to. This bra does a great job lifting and separating, and it's incredibly comfortable. I feel like it has also held up very well over time, as my first one is about a year and a half old and still works well for weekend wear. Amy from St. Paul

I purchased this bra 3 years ago and loved it. I just got finished nursing my first kid and needed some new bras....I went and bought another Balcony bra and love it...it makes me look slimmer and feel slimmer and puts the girls where they are supposed to be. Thanks Fantasie!!! Robin Robin from Anchorage AK
