This is a very nice everyday bra — very comfortable, with clean lines under clothes. I'd like to get this one in other colors! Jessica

This bra gave me 'cone' boobs. The seaming on the cups is not flattering and does not have a rounded shape. My chest is round to begin with, so the cups are strangely triangular.

Fantasie Response: If you are looking for a sleek side support bra from Fantasie with a less defined shape, then we recommend the Fantasie Fusion Underwire Full Cup Side Support Bra FL3091. Fusion has a vertical seam and stretch upper cup that gives the breasts a rounded shape. Chelsea

Cups run on the larger side. The fit is just ok, and the shape is reminiscent of those pointy bras from the 50s.

Fantasie Response: If you are looking for a side support bra with a little less coverage than the Serene bra, then we recommend the Fantasie Fusion Underwire Full Cup Side Support Bra FL3091. Fusion has a vertical seam and stretch upper cup that gives the breasts a rounded shape. V from new york, new york

This is a high quality bra...I am amazed at the quality for this affordable price! I need a firm 30 band, and this is just perfect. Cup-wise, this seems true to size for projection, and offers full coverage. The cups really contain and support...very little jiggle, which is what I wanted. This is the best bra I've had so far, and I've tried many over the years. Shopper from Oregon

This is my second purchase of this style bra. I ordered a 32F the first time, but wanted a little more cup coverage to avoid the double boob look. This style fits very comfortably. The wires stay where they should and the straps do not dig. This is a great everyday bra, the larger bust version of a t-shirt bra. I do wish there was a size between F and FF because I have a little too much material in one and not enough in the other for my bust. Jessica from Pittsburgh, PA

Fits great- easy to put on. The previous nude bra from herroom had one strap that would not stay flat- kept curling up. Hope that doesn't happen with this new one. Black one was fine! Pamela from Duncan/ok/USA

This one didn't work for me. So much separation that the girls were partly in the way of my arms. The straps didn't support enough, and the narrow tab for the 2 hooks also gave too little support. Now I know that even a sturdy cut and sewn cup can't do all the work my full and aging bust needs, and will avoid this type of bra. If you're in your 20s or 30s and have a wider rib cage this might work well for you. It's nice looking and looks like Fantasie used quality materials.

Fantasie Response: The majority of your support should come from the wings of the bra so it's important to be in the correct band size. This will also effect your cup so consider that when changing your band size. We suggest checking out HerRoom's Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Laura from Pittsburgh

This bra doesn't provide nearly the amount of support needed for larger breasts. It fit pretty well, although I had slight puckering in one of the cups, but the amount of breast movement/jiggle I had while walking was unacceptable. There's no way I could wear this in public. People would stare!!!

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. We suggest checking out our Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Jennifer from Herndon, Virginia

This is a beautiful bra but it didn't fit me right. The side shaping panel seam cut into the sides of my breasts and it was a little tight across the top of the cup. I used to wear a 34FF but had put on weight so I went up a band size and down a cup size. I have two other Fantasie bra styles in 36F that fit very well, this style in the same size just didn't look or feel good. I have an elomi in size 36F that has a side shaping panel but it doesn't cut in like the Fantasie Jana. I would have to say then that the cup runs small on this style. I've also noticed that most of the Fantasie bras offered at Her Room have the side shaping panel in the cup, I just hope they don't all run small in the cups. I could have tried going up a cup size but I really don't like how much time is involved with the exchange process. There is a lingerie shop in town that has a large selection of bras so I didn't have to wait when I needed to change sizes but they can't carry every style and color of Fantasie bra to try on. I'll be happy with what I have for now. Teri from Iowa

This is my favorite bra. Great support, super comfortable, works great with most tops, and it's sleek enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing one of those utilitarian bras that larger busts are often forced into. In general, Fantasie make great bras and swim wear for large busts (and small backs, like mine). This model is my go-to everyday bra. I'm going to stock up in case they discontinue it. This bra is very uncomfortable; the material is extremely uncomfortable and irritated my skin to the point that I developed a rash within a few hours of wearing it. Also, the cups ride so high under the arm that I can't comfortably have my arms at my sides. However, the size is pretty accurate. Michaela from Purcellville, VA, USA

I gave this 3 stars because it did not fit well at all. The band fits me, however, the cups cut me off at the top, causing lots of spillage over the top.

This is hands down the most comfortable, flattering bra I have ever owned. I could wear it all day and never have it pinching poking or reminding me of how huge my bosoms are. I absolutely love this bra. And the price, you cannot beat it, I have $100.00 bras that don't fit as well and start driving me crazy half way through the day. I ordered this one as part of my desperate quest to find replacement bras for my favorite discontinued models that I have unfortunately outgrown. This bra is quite different from any I have ever worn and reminds me of the bras my mother bought in the box for years and years. It offers a retro fit; wide set, pointy cups with substantially tall banding under the arms which calmed down enough for comfort after washing. It is well made but, alas, is not the perfect bra for me however I kept it and wear it because the girls need some support as I continue my quest. Jan from Bristol, TN

This bra was one of the most comfortable bras I have ever owned & that means a lot to me being that I have a large chest... Unfortunately, when I picked up my 5y/o a few weeks ago, one of the wires ripped through the bra, cutting my poor child's stomach, leaving him with a scar. It was a beautiful bra & I loved it, but I've had bras (that were cheaper) for YEARS that have not had wires and/or stitching come out. This would have gotten 4 or 5stars from me had it lasted more than a few months.

Fantasie Response: Tese - When an underwire pops out of the casing it's usually an indication that the cup size might be too small. Please refer to HerRoom's Bra Fitting Advice Page to ensure that you are in the correct size. Tese from Newport News, VA

I've worn the wrong size bra basically forever and because of this I always hated wearing them. This is the first bra I ordered in my correct size and I actually ordered it thinking it was a contour one (this is why it's important to read through the entire descrlption!). When I received it and saw that it was unpadded I was a bit nervous. Lo and behold, it offered great support. The cups are made of a stretchy material and are extremely comfortable-no cutting into the top of my breasts. Plus, I had no east/west issues at all! It's a great everyday bra, though I'm leery of wearing it with anything form fitting as it's not thick enough to prevent show through. Overall, I'm quite happy with it! Dee from Texas

This is THE BEST FITTING bra I have EVER worn!! I have bras by Prima Dona, Chantelle, etc. None of those bras even came close to fitting like this! This seemed like a very solidly constructed bra but just wasn't right for me. Band runs true, cup runs a little small. If you're a full cup order one cup up, I would say, for the larger cup sizes. The cups are not quite full enough on the bottom to give me a natural shape. I found it had more of a downward-pointing bullet effect which I don't like. I went with Fantasie's Smoothing T-Shirt Bra in one band up and one cup down instead for a perkier shape and much more support. Megan from Wisconsin

The band on the bra fits loose and my breasts are actually pointing outwards when I put it on. Very unattractive. I usually wear Panache or Wacoal bras but I thought I'd give the Fantasie bra a try and I paid more for this bra than the others I own! I'm very disappointed. Dee from Atlanta, Georgia

Good support, very comfortable, attractive fabric. Purchased this item as a replacement for the now defunct Anna style; it's pretty good, but not as rounded a shape as the Anna style. The cup is more elongated, and, if not adjusted properly, the top edge of the cup cuts into the top of the breast. It is not a matter of cup size, but rather of shape. This shape is for a breast that is shallower on top on fuller on bottom. Rheesa from San Diego CA

The bra is very comfortable and the cups did not give me as pointed a shape as I'd feared. If you have full breasts, this is a great bra, as it has complete coverage. Because the material is so stretchy, the cups felt a bit generous; I might have been able to go down a cup size. Also due to this generously stretchy material, I didn't feel I got the kind of lift I prefer. After test-wearing it for a bit, I conceded that it was okay, but I probably wouldn't wear it all that often because I just preferred a little more lift in the cups. I didn't feel like spending money on shipping various returns back & forth experimenting with cup size, so I just returned this one for a refund since I have other Fantasie bras I am happy with. Straps were too wide and cup was cut too high in the front.

Fantasie Response: You have such a petite frame and probably need to look for a style that is less full in the cup which is difficult to find in your cup size. Was the cup too large? Maybe you need to go down to the H cup. Stephanie from US

I like the fit of this bra. However, the straps in the back fall too far into the middle of my back which creates a bulge towards the back of my underarm which looks terrible in tighter fitting shirts. I'm in good shape and normally don't have back fat issues but where this strap falls just creates a really really unflattering sight on me.

Fantasie Response: Our strap placement creates a “U” or leotard-type back which is usually very flattering for most figure types… Make sure the band is snug enough to stay down on your torso, and the band should be parallel to the floor. If the band is too loose, it will ride up in the back, forcing the soft tissue (which we all have) up under the arm, and creating that bulge that you’re concerned about. It’s almost counter-intuitive: You would think a snugger band would create bulges (or back fat) when in fact more often than not, the opposite is true …it’s a band that’s too loose that’s creating the problem! This bra made me look like I had cones for breasts. Immediate return.

Fantasie Response: Sometimes the bras with seams may appear more cone-like, but in your 34HH cup size you really need the seams to give you the proper support you need from your bras. There are many other styles that might work for you, but if you are looking for a smoother rounder look you could try the Fantasie Esme bra 2471 or the elomi Hermione 8120. Michele from Brooklyn,NY

Fit fine (right size); picture looked like it had some self-imposed structure, but the seamed cups offered just okay shape and terrible lift. The right strap hurt after wearing it for just minutes. I tried it on under a shirt just to see how it would look, and it make me look way older-- like gravity had prematurely aged me. I guess I really can't buy seamed-cup bras and expect to look good.

Fantasie Response: If you are looking for a seamless contour shape you might want to try the Fantasie 4510. This bra has the smooth shape you are looking for and gives a lot of lift and a super great shape for t-shirts. We also offer the Freya Deco style 4234 that also gives a smooth shape and has more plunge than the 4510 to give you a youthful “vavoom” look. If you try the 4234 Deco you might try the 30GG because the band runs fuller than the other styles. Sally from USA

Fantasie Response: The serene is a great bra when you get it in the correct size. You did not get proper side support meaning the band, or the side tissue in the cup? It sounds like you might need a smaller band size like a 36G. But if it is the side breast tissue that was coming out of the bra then the cup size is too small. Please see Tomimas fit tips to make sure you are in the correct size. Patty

I have never in my entire life had a bra that fit properly. For years I thought I was a 34DD, but I am in fact a 30G!! This is the first bra that I purchased in my correct size, and it is fantastic. The band is snug, and the cups are perfect. The fabric feels sturdy, and is actually pretty! The cups are definitely full coverage, and the gore comes up very high, so I can't wear it under anything moderately low-cut. It also doesn't offer as much lift for my soft breasts as it could, but it has firm support. In all a fabulous, worth the money bra! Thanks! Sarah from Kentucky

I tried this bra because I was hoping for a fairly smooth 3-part bra. The fabric is pretty smooth, but I'm pretty sure the seams would still be very visible until a fitted top. The cups were just a bit too small for me, enough to make me not want to keep it but also think that the next cup size up would be too big. But since lately I've been having more luck with Chantelle bras, I'm not going to go out of my way to keep exchanging this one to figure out my perfect fit. Danielle from New Orleans, LA

This would've been a great bra, but the idiot designer only gave it 2 hooks. Someone my size definitely needs 3 or 4 for comfort and support. The front is so well designed. :( What a shame the back isn't! (I tried this on at the request of an professional bra fitter, so I know that the sizing is correct.)

Fantasie Response: Sorry this bra did not work for you. If a bra has more hooks in the back that does not mean that it is more supportive. The support comes from the design of the bra and the tightness of the band. There are a lot of bras out there with 4 hooks that do not give proper support. The seams and construction of a great bra are what lifts the breasts. Katrina from Greenville, SC

Comfortable although hot in summer. Cup shape very protuberant although looks OK under clothes.

Fantasie Response: This is a comfortable bra and gives lots of lift and projection! !The under-seam gives lots of lift to the breast tissue! Hanna from Brooklyn

I really wanted to like this bra but it just doesn't fit me very well. The cups sag a little bit on me - I tried a 32HH and a 30 HH. The band on the 30 fit great, but the cups were too small. I am going to return it. Portia from Ames

Like the bra, I didn't get it 5 stars because I cannot wear the bra all day. It's not the most comfy bra to wear but that's obvious because it is an underwire. I would give this bra a try if you are considering it. Bridgette from New York

Cups were larger than expected. A little scratchy too, though it may have softened up once washed. Sent it back.

Fantasie Response: The Savannah by Fantasie 2152 would be a better choice for you if you want less fullness. This plunge bra gives great support yet it is lower in the center gore and feels less full. Kristin from Goldsboro, NC, USA

I loved the fit, look and comfort of this bra, but had to return it. I couldn't get past seams showing thru all my clothes. Living in Phoenix, most tops are of a light weight material and the seams show thru. Perhaps this would be best for those in a colder climate where you have to wear heavier weight tops and sweaters. Nothing about this bra worked for me. I was popping out of the top. It appeared that the cup size I ordered was too small, or perhaps it was simply that this type of bra isn't cut out for someone with my shape.

Fantasie Response: Judging by what you say, it seems the cups are too small for you. Jacqueline from United States

I actually love the look of this bra, but after wearing it for just short amount of time I began to feel uncomfortable and then it became unbearable to wear, leaving welts across my back where the band hooks connect. just for the record I did wash the garment before wearing. Two days later I still have red irritated marks.

Fantasie Response: Nancy, the band should feel like a “snug hug”. Snug not tight. It sounds as if the band is just too tight for you. Perhaps try going up a band size. Nancy from Hartland

This bra is fantastic! Having small shoulders and rib cage but being endowed can create some issues when trying to find a bra that fits well. Fanatsie bras work well for my shape, I had to go down a band size (up a cup size to compensate for the change). This bra gives a wonderful shape and brilliant support, it is very comfortable and a great for me - I have breastfed two babies so the boobs are no longer 'perky' but this bra holds 'em up, giving them back their 'perk'. Great under loser fabrics and sweaters. MCR from Arlington, VA

This bra has a weird cup shape and the material is itchy. Having said that I also am still looking for the right bra and am finding fit a huge problem for me.

Fantasie Response: It’s hard to say for sure without actually seeing you in the bra itself. Most importantly, you have to make sure you’re in the correct size, as no bra will be comfortable in the wrong size. 32D is an extremely common size and it shouldn’t be so difficult to find a bra that fits and is comfy. Here are 3 steps to a fabulous fit:

1. The center front of the bra (the “gore”) should lie flat against the breastbone. This is called “tacking” and will help to support the breasts along with the band.

2. The under-wire should sit behind the breast tissue (and not on top of it) to ensure the breasts are fully supported. The under-wires should surround the entire breast, with the back end of the wire sitting behind the breast tissue, on bone.

3. The band should fit snugly around the body (like a good hug). It should be snug enough to stay parallel to the floor, and at the same level around the torso.

If these three things are happening, the bra fits, no matter the letter or the number. Fantasie has just launched a new style: Florence #2411. Florence is a flattering balcony shape, with luscious all-over black and gold lace, and it’s soft and comfy. The silhouette is subtle, round, and lifted. Erin from Lincoln, NE

The bra would have fit great when I first tried it on, if I had ordered the correct size. The problem is, I should have ordered a 30G instead of the 32G ... that was my error ... when I reorder it (as I'm already on the tightest hook, and there's a pinkie sized space between the bottom of my breast and the under wire) I'll order a 30G. It's very comfortable though. »V. from Springfield, MO

Not only is this bra really attractive and sexy, but it is also quite comfortable, secure, and strong. With large breasts, I was worried that this bra would not fit properly or would not support me. It definitely does both and is super cute on top of that! I will definitely buy this bra and brand again. Sarah from Atlant/GA/USA

This bra does not work for an older large cup size -- you just end up hanging down over the underwire. Not an attractive sight.

Fantasie Response: Unseen, it’s difficult to comment because there are so many “fit factors” involved. Not only style, and correct band and cup size, but how you position yourself into the bra: Breast tissue in front of the under wire, center gore tacking between the breasts, and the band tight enough not to ride up… For extreme lift and support, you may want to try our newest addition to the Fantasie family: Karina 2452. Karina is a gorgeous full-coverage bra with a side support panel, and center pull straps which are great if you have narrow shoulders. These features provide the ultimate in comfort and support. Again, Fantasie bras are a winner for me. I usually cannot wear bras with a wider set strap, as the straps slip and are a major annoyance. However, I needed a balcony, wide set strap bra for a special occasion dress and went back to my old favorite, fantasie, and this is another winner. The structure and design of the cup make it possible for me to wear this style. Fantasie is, in my opinion, the best choice for women like me, with narrower ribcages and shoulders, but full breasts, and little back fat. Most bra makers assume you need high sides and 5 snaps to hold it all together. Also, I recommend measuring and following the excellent video and directions found on this site in stead of assuming you know your size. I ordered a size I have never before worn, but it fit. jemije5559 from Buffalo Grove, Il, USA
