I had never heard of a swim bra until I saw another reviewer mention it on another site. I did some research and it led me here! A swim bra, what a fantastic idea. Being a larger chested woman, I hate, hate, hate shopping for swimsuits. I need a top with under wire, good support, good coverage, and no padding or molding. That shouldn't be too hard to find, right? Apparently it is. Every year I search all the swimsuit sites. There are always such cute options, but when you search for under wire and coverage, you are usually limited to one or two options. Those options are either molded cups that add additional bulk or not available in my size. When I found this swim bra, I thought all my issues would be solved and my swimsuit top horizons would be opened up! A "bra" to wear under my tankini top, what a fantastic solution! I would finally be able to purchase a cute tankini with the dreaded shelf bra at a nominal price, just like all my friends do. Imagine my disappointment when I went to order and it wasn't offered in my band size. I was devastated, but decided to order the size closest to mine and cross my fingers that it would fit. Unfortunately it didn't. Even though it was too loose in the band area, I could tell that it offered great support and just the lift I needed. The material is great and I used the universal size chart to determine my cup size. The cups were just about right! My plan was to wear this as a "bra" under a tankini top. The only negative for that purpose is the back comes up a little high, so you would have to be selective in finding a tankini that comes up high enough to cover, but I think that is doable. Even though it didn't fit me, I still give it 4 stars. If they would add additional band sizes (in my case smaller) and a little lower back, I would give it 100 stars. Even though it didn't work for me because of sizes offered, I would highly, highly recommend this as it is a great solution for so many woman like me that get so frustrated in finding a supportive swim top for a big bust. I don't know if manufacturers ever look at these reviews, but if you do, please, please consider adding smaller band sizes and a little lower back clasp. If you do that, I can end my hunt for the elusive, supportive, underwire swimsuit top and end my long journey of frustration with swimsuits. I can "run" free alongside all the other cute swim tops at the beach.
