I have purchased this bra in several sizes as my weight has gone up and down over the years. Currently the best fit is with the new 36Fs that I acquired at HerRoom. The Bijou provides great support with minimal padding, no nipple show through and a natural shape. HerRoom's delivery was prompt and packaged nicely. It's not the sexiest bra, but it's not matronly either and it's great for everyday wear. I am happy. Kristina from Long Beach, CA

I followed the directions for sizing, which came out to a 42G. That is the same size as the bras I have been wearing for the past year. First of all, I could barely get the bra hooked because it was so tight around. When I finally did get it hooked, I had blobs of skin bunching up above the back and sides, and 1/3 of my breasts being pushed out of the top of the cups. This did not create a provocative cleavage, but more like 2 more breasts without a bra. I doubt that my breasts would have been contained even if I were to go up two cup sizes and a band size.

HerRoom Response: Keep in mind that all brands size differently after a D cup. Check out our brand conversion chart on our Bra Cup Fitting Guide. Becky from Madison, WI, USA

This bra is very comfortable. The straps don't always stay on though. It has the nice hook on the back to secure the straps, but it can get tight at the end of the day. I also have trouble reaching the hook. But it looks amazing on! Mallory from Auburn, WA

I have bought this bra several times and generally love it. However, this time this bra has already come apart in the cup. Stitching has come undone and the thin padding is coming out. Disappointed.

Elomi Response: We suggest having 3-6 basic bras in your lingerie wardrobe. Having a larger bust can create a lot of stress on your bras and requires a larger wardrobe and extreme care. Check out HerRoom's Lingerie Essentials Guide. Michelle from Gilbert/Arizona/USA

This bra was very beautiful. I however did not like the fit, as I felt that if it pushed the girls under my arms, causing difficulty with arm movement.

Elomi Response: For a more supportive and uplifted shape we suggest a seamed bra. Elomi's new bra Matilda EL8900 seems like it could be the perfect bra for you. The side support panel on the bra is designed to position your breast tissue more inwards, which will help your girls from feeling like they are under your arms. Wendy from Pahrump, NV

The wires stab me in the middle of my chest and there is a lot of pressure. On me the bra doesn't lay flat like on the photo model and bunches up at the front. I bought this bra in a discontinued color therefor I can not return it and am stuck with a bra I can not wear.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. We suggest checking out our Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Jane from Newberg, OR

I love the bra--IF I COULD JUST GET IT!!! This was the second attempt to get a 36G USA-size bra, THAT I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED!! Someone has not been double-checking the size, and I have received a different size on BOTH attempts. It's infuriating that I have to pay shipping on someone else's mistake!

HerRoom Response: I'm sorry to hear you had this experience, but all Elomi bras are U.K. sized. So this means that if you are a US 36G (D4) you would need to order a 36F (D4) to get your correct size. Check out the HerRoom UCS Guide to help you find your right size in multiple brands. A comfortable and well-made product. The underwires do not poke me in the armpits as I often experience, yet I still feel supported on the sides. I am accustomed to the center gore being higher, but I am liking this lower height a lot too - not because I would ever wear a neckline so low, but it is comfy and sits nicely on my sternum. The taller ones seem to gap out a bit no matter the combination of cup/band sizes I try. Gennah from 48419

The fit seems accurate but the shape was not what I wanted at all. The sides had little support to lift and center (which is what I need) which resulted in a slightly splayed/separated look. The straps were too wide-set for my sloping shoulders. I think a different style is in order for me.

Elomi Response: For a more supportive and uplifted shape we suggest a seamed bra. Elomi's new bra Matilda EL8900 seems like it could be the perfect bra for you. This bra has center pull straps, a kicked-in back and a j-hook, which are all great for sloping shoulders. This bra is sure to bring the girls in front and center. Lauren from Fairmont WV

I wear Elomi bras exclusively, but this one did not fit at ALL. Everything about it was too small: the band and the cups. It seemed the cups were about two sizes too small. I ordered this style because of the j-hook, but I could barely get it fastened.

Elomi Response: We suggest going one cup size up in this bra. Also, make sure your straps are almost fully extended when trying to attach your j-hook. Linda H from HSV, AR, US

I usually wear a 38GG in Elomi but for the next one I buy I need to go up in the cup size if that is an option. Otherwise, the bra has good lift which I need! Tym from White Plains/New York/US

For years I have been wearing the Fantasie Smoothing Tshirt bras. I'm always getting compliments from other large breasted friends about how the girls are riding high. The bra's were comfortable and the fit seemed the best I could get. The problems I had with them was the center gore never laid flat on my chest and I still got the double boob thing. This Elomi Bijou tshirt bra fixed that! No more double boob, center gore lays flat, all day comfort. Love it!!!!! Thank you HerRoom for helping the girls and I out! Jennifer from Milton, FL USA

I have this bra in a purple color and it's beautiful. I love having the J-Hook so that my straps don't hang out when wearing racerback tanks. Fit is perfect, something I've come to expect from Elomi. You can't go wrong with this brand Julie from Louisiana

I really do like this bra. I feel it has good coverage, lift and support. The only issue I have is it doesn't come in a small enough band width. I wish they made it in 30 & 32. I have to take it in and have it altered in order to fit properly. Saying all that, it is the best one I've found so far.

HerRoom Response: We are so glad you love this, but think you should try the Freya version "Deco Vibe" (AA170) that does come in smaller bands. Laurie from Idaho

Cute cut, okay fit, TERRIBLE QUALITY!!!! After wearing the bra, I decided it could be a really fun plunge bra to have for special occasions. After wearing it, I washed it on a gentle cycle and line dried it. It started falling apart! After a second washing the bra began to lose it's integrity all together. Along the cup line in the front, the seams began to rip, tear, and stretch. Despite my size, I can usually get a year out of a Fantasie bra, so you can imagine my surprise when this bra fell apart.

Elomi Response: Bijou is a fabulous fun plungy bra! We always recommend hand washing your bras, as washing them in the machine (no matter how gentle the cycle), is very rough on the under-wires, and will shorten the life of the bra dramatically. You mention the seams ripping and tearing along the cup-line. This might be happening because you're in an incorrect size. If the cups are too small, there could be too much constant stress on the seams. Please refer to HerRoom's Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Rachel from Richland, WA USA

I bought this bra and like it very much. It will allow me to wear tank tops without showing my bra straps. I had to go up a cup size though. I normally wear a 34G in Panache and Fanatsie. I'm thinking of buying more so I can wear more tank tops. Spring is just around the corner. Erica from California

Perhaps this bra would work better on a different shape. On me, it fit well in most areas, however, the cup edges came up too high, too straight, or something because they stood out a bit. It was visible through most tops. Other than that, the bra was gorgeous and great quality. But for me, I had to return.

elomi Response: The cup edges are "infinity edges" designed to hug your shape like a glove. It could be that the cups are a bit too large for you. Perhaps try a cup size smaller (UCS 34D5). If you're looking for another option, perhaps try Amelia (EL8740). Amelia features breathable spacer fabric cups, (sooo cool and comfy), and provides a bit more coverage than EL8720. Ginalou from MN

This bra fit fairly well BUT the cups were perfect on my right side, and way too big on my left side. It seemed to give good lift, if a bit wider separation than I'm used to. But having one breast with the room to shift about (up top) felt awkward. I have a "very low balcony" so I think it would work well for someone with fullness in her upper breasts. I love Elomi bras because so far I've bought 3 different styles and they are true to size no matter the style. This bra wears comfortably but the underwire gets tiring after several hours. The cups are absolutely comfortable. The cups "wear" slightly more outward than my natural breast shape but the comfort is worth it. I also love that this bra has a low center. Too many larger sized ups have underwire that pops up or out - especially because my chest is on the petite side. I like it enough to order another color. Diane from CT
