This is my go to bra. It is very supportive and comfortable. I have owned it in various sizes - 42G(D4) but the cup was too big.I had it in 40G-but the band felt too snug. So, I ordered it in 42E-going down a cup size and it fits perfect. My only complaint is I would love it if it were available in white. Jazzplayer62 from Philadelphia, PA

Great as a t-shirt bra! I've been looking for a bra like this for ages. Wonderful, full coverage. It does come up a little high under the arms. Not enough to poke you, but it would show under a loose tank top. Staci from Cleveland, OH

Looked like a very nice, well made bra. For me, the upper part of the cups were too large and wrinkly. It wouldn't work under a t-shirt which was why I purchased it. Kathy from Powell, Ohio

I love how Elomi bras fit, this one is terrific as a t-shirt bra, no seams to show through my knit tops. My only complaint is that the underwires are a bit long (I never realized that could be an issue) so this bra often requires some readjusting for me to keep me from getting stabbed in the armpit. I will be less likely to buy new models online, but I still love my Elomi bras - worth every $. Lisa from Chantilly

I have had this bra before and found it to give a lot of support. This time, however, it seems to run smaller than my other elomi bras.

Elomi Response: If you find that this style is running smaller than some other Elomi bras in the cups, consider going up one cup size to a 38H. If the band is also feeling more snug than average, consider sizing up to a 40GG. This will give more band space and additional depth in the cups. Idajag from Idaho

This bra is comfortable and has a lot of support for this cup size. If it holds up after a couple of laundries, I will probably order more. My only complaint is the it fits a bit high under the armpits, so will be hard to wear under anything sleeveless. VC from Claremore, OK, USA

I own many bras, for inexpensive to some top end but I always seem to reach for this one in the end when a want good support without bounce, needing a smooth look, and without squished cleavage. The only negative to this bra is the straps should be made at least an inch longer for adjustment. Jane from Newberg

I love Elomi bras. I really wish I could get the half cup (demi cup) in 48E. I wear the 46E demi cup but really need a 48. The smoothing bra cup is a full cup and bothers me a little rubbing under my arm (underwire under the arm). I do like it a lot though and Elomi makes great bras!

Elomi Response: We are happy to hear how much you love Elomi bras! If you are looking for a bra that is cut slightly lower under the arm; may we suggest two styles from our sister brand, Goddess? Both the Bridget (GD6070) and Heather (GD6060) bras are amazingly supportive styles designed with shorter wires for under-arm comfort. SC from Tn

This bra was small for its "universal size". Both the band and the cups. I also didn't like the stiff fabric.

Elomi Response: The cups on the Elomi Smoothing Seam-free bra typically run a bit full. If you are having issues with the cups being too small, you may be in an incorrect size. The HerRoom Bra Fit Center is an excellent resource for finding the best fit for your shape. Also, if you find the fabric harsh on your skin then we suggest giving your bra a quick soak in a mild fabric softener to help relax the fibers. Gina from Turners Falls

Purchased same size as my discontinued Fantasie bra that I love. This is very similar. Feels a little tight at first, but I know elastic will stretch a little. Cups seem a little shallow- a little “pillowing” at the top. Overall great fit, great comfort. Will buy a second in black! Angel from Atlanta Ga

I followed the suggestion to size down, and don't think it was necessary. This bra fits very similarly to other Elomi bras. I didn't find it bigger than the Cate bra, for example. This bra is exactly what I want if only it was big enough. Very sturdy and supportive for us very large busted gals who need it and seamless to boot. But it doesn't come larger. Come on Elomi. You're the one who's supposed to have all the sizes. Whats the point of making a bra with deluxe support that doesn't fit the very women who need that! Cathy from Croton on Hudson/NY/USA

I have been wearing this bra exclusively for over 5 years. Love the firm support with full coverage. "See It Under" pictures hold true for me. Negatives would be that the underwire is so thick it sets off the metal detector in airports and the wire ends tend to poke through the fabric when the rest of the bra is still in very good shape.Would and have recommended to friends. julie from east peoria, IL

This is well made, seamless, gives a good shape, supportive and seamless. Everything I need but doesn't come in my size! The 40 GG cup is too small but not available in larger cup and larger band doesn't come in GG. Come on Elomi! Very frustrated.

Elomi Response: If you love the fit and support of Elomi bras, then we recommend trying one of our best selling t-shirt styles, Amelia (EL8740), for a seam-free shape under clothing. A so-so bra the cup does run big. Normally I am on the verge of needing a cup size larger, in this bra I could use a size smaller. Occasionally get an underwire jab in armpit. Not an attractive bra but serviceable. Had I tried it on in a store I wouldn’t have bought it. Will be at bottom of drawer for when I am behind in laundry, last choice of current bras to wear.

Elomi Response: If you find that this style runs a bit full in the cup for you, then we suggest ordering a size down. A smaller cup size may also help lower the underwire to a more comfortable place on your body. Helen from Andover MN

Cups run a little big. I like the fit other than that. I think I would almost need a half size smaller not a whole cup size so I'm not going to worry about sending it back. This was was bought to wear around home doing house/yard work so I'm ok with the cups being just a tiny bit bigger.

Yet another "plus-size" bra with only three hooks and a very narrow back. I don't know how this is supposed to provide support for anyone.

Elomi Response: The most important factor for proper support comes from wearing the correct size! The number of hooks has little to no bearing on the amount of support provided. It is the combination of a snug band and the center gore tacking at the chest bone that gives support. Please refer to HerRooms Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size. I REALLY wanted to love this bra. However, the fit was TERRIBLE! According to the description, this bra runs large, so I ordered my regular size (Sculptresse by Panache 40 GG), as well as a 38 G. Neither bra fit. The bands were so short I couldn't hook either one, yet the cups were so large my breasts were swimming. This is a bra designed for Barbie.

I wish Elomi had smaller band sizing. That said, this bra has very nice fabric and would have been nice under lightweight fabrics. The cups seemed wide and had a minimized effect and pulled breast tissue in an unattractive way.

HerRoom Response: We suggest trying Elomi's sister company Fantasie. She is designed to accommodate smaller band sizes and larger cup sizes. Farmnfolk from Ohio

This is the perfect bra for me, trust me, I have ordered an insane amount of things and yet keep coming back to this one. I am hard to fit since my bust is very round, not really large projection wise but large across, this plus size bra is purpose for my plus size (wide) bust. Structured at the bottom of the cups like I need, smooth so no irritations from embellishments, natural round/not pointy. Melissa

This bra was an old favorite of mine. Unfortunately the cups were overflowing after a while, so I thought I'd try one cup size larger. Perfect fit! I really love the soft, smooth cups that don't show seams under t-shirts. Yay! Straps have lots of adjustability. Deanne from Kissimmee, FL

It fits high under the arms and the underwire digs in a little. I had to bend the underwire in the center on each cup to adjust the wire. Otherwise, I like the smooth look of the it. Curves from Florence

I absolutely love that this bra has only 3 hooks! It's been so long since I had that. I'm so over large cup bras having 5 hooks. It seems to be a high quality bra. It's very comfortable and supportive. I am normally a US size 42G. I actually think I need to size down to either a 40G or a 40F. Brittany from Tennessee

This is by far the worst bra I have ever owned. I was so excited when it arrived. I put it on the same day and within two hours I had to take it off because it was painful to wear. The straps dug into my skin and left red marks. The "minimizing" affect of the bra made it difficult to breath and hurt my arms by pushing my breasts too far to the side. I would not recommend this bra if you have bell shaped breasts.

I think this would be a great bra if it had thicker cups for concealment like the discontinued Elomi EL1220 had. It has a decent fit but felt a little too thin and bouncy for my liking. Back to the drawing board.

HerRoom Response: We suggest trying Amelia EL8740 because the cups are spacer and will provide more modesty or Bijou EL8722 which has a thicker cup. Linda from Madison

I was prepared to love this bra based on the reviews, but unfortunately it didn't work for me at all. But for me this bra flattened out my chest and pushed the girls under my arms. I went down in size based on rec's re band & 'Universal D' equation and still it was too wide an under wire but cups spaced too far apart.

Very nice bra. Seems to fit well and is pretty comfortable for an underwire bra. It does separate the breasts, which keeps them cooler. But it makes me look wider, so I don't like that. It only has 3 hooks, and should have more for large cup sizes. Still, I like this bra because of the comfort. Doreen from Michigan

Fits nicely and is comfortable. It does lift and separate though, so the breasts get pushed out to the sides more. This look is not flattering for me (makes me look even bigger), but I'm keeping it because it's comfy and keeps me cooler. Another strange thing is that there are only 3 hooks in the back. For large cup sizes, it should have 4 hooks. And, like most bras, the straps are too short. Doreen from Michigan

I had two of the discontinued style Asia bras and absolutely loved them! My only complaint was that it was brown leopard print and I could only where it under certain things. Two stars comfort. Otherwise, zero. I don't think this bra was meant for someone with big breasts. The center lay flat, it fit great, it was even comfortable. I'd keep it if it didn't push my breasts so far apart that they literally looked smaller. WAY too much separation. Looked terrible.

Elomi Response: We think our newer style Bijou EL8720. would be perfect for you. This bra is lightly lined, has a great deep plunge and the cups are designed to bring the breasts in and up. Karen from Denver, CO

Well made, but it didn't give me the support I was looking for.

Elomi Response: Most of the support of a bra comes from a nice firm band. We usually advise going down in the band, and up in the cup for better support. If you're looking for other smooth cup bra options, perhaps give Amelia (EL8740) or Bijou (EL8720) a try. Amelia offers cup sizes to a HH cup, and Bijou offers cup sizes to an H cup. This would allow you to go down in the band and up in the cup for a snugger band, and for better support. Cornelia from Barstow, Ca

I love the fact that there are no seams in the cups so it looks smooth under knit tops. The straps are comfortable, although I would like to be able to tighten them up a bit more. The underwire hits me in an uncomfortable spot--it pokes me under the arm. I've only worn it two days, but I think it will be fine.

elomi Response: Deanne, if you love seam-free cups, you might also love some of our other smoothing styles. Have you tried Amelia (EL8740)? Amelia features breathable spacer fabric cups, perfect for keeping you cool and comfy in even the most humid conditions. (I couldn't help but notice you live in Florida)....And if you're feeling a bit more daring, you might love Bijou (EL8720). They were very uncomfortable. I think they are the wrong size. I used to wear this size but may have to get a smaller size for I have lost weight.

elomi Response: Patty, our bodies are always changing, and it's a good idea to check your size at least once a year. Even if your weight hasn't fluctuated, your body may have changed. Any change in lifestyle can affect your body, such as starting/stopping working out, pregnancy, hormone therapy etc. Things shift around. you mention you've lost weight, so no wonder the bras were too big for you. Sizing for this particular style has been a task and one that resulted in less than satisfactory results. The cup sizes I tried just did not work. Other styles with more cup construction provide more accurate and supportive fit. Didn't like and would not recommend for cup size G or larger.

Elomi Response: Sandra- Thank you for your feedback on Elomi EL3911 in 36D6. Tomima's Tip suggests: "This bra runs large. Everyone should go down a band and cup size (eg: 38G should go to 36G)" Another Elomi style to consider is Amelia Underwire Bandless Spacer Bra EL8740. It offers seam-free breathable spacer foam cups that provide improved shaping and firm support without adding size. It's perfect for a petite frame and anyone with a short upper torso. As always-please refer to HerRoom's "How To Measure for a Bra" to help determine you correct band and cup size. Sandra from Maryland

This is the best fitting and most comfortable bra I have ever worn! By trial and error I have finally found the correct size bra. I have purchased both colors in this style and would love it if more were offered. The Elomi brand is made for me! Thanks for offering so many options for ladies with more ample breast. I have been wearing this style bra for years and until recently, felt it was the perfect bra. However, elomi has made some unwelcome changes. The fabric is now stretchier and flimsier with much less support. It just feels flimsy. I bought one of these bras a few months ago and within 2 weeks of wear, the underwire broke through the fabric and stabbed me in the arm. Beth from North Bergen, NJ

Actually I give this 4.5 stars. It is the best fitting bra I have ever had. It is the ONLY bra that actually separates the breast....I actually have a gap between my breasts now...The wires actually hold the bra up next to my breast bone, which I have NEVER had a bra do this before this one. It actually took me a while to get used to looking down and seeing a gap where I have not ever had one before. The shoulder straps are fairly comfortable and this is where I think the bra could be a bit more padded for additional comfort. I have very, very full breasts and this bra hold all the "girls" inside the cups without any pillowtops (breast bulge) pushing out over the top! The sides and back of the bra hold in and smooth well, also. I watched a video on how to measure breasts for a better fit and ordered a bra larger than I imagined...I was a bit leary at the larger size, but this bra fits perfectly! I will order this style bra and not buy anything else! Thank you Elomi! Dianna from Bedford, TX

Great bra! Probably one of the most comfortable I've worn in a long time. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it wasn't a molded cup bra with a little more coverage. Being a large chested person that has a very difficult time finding a good bra I would absolutely recommend this bra. Kelly from Houston, TX

I disagree with the fitting tip that this bra runs large. I felt that the sizing was accurate. But it was the strangest fit I've ever experienced in a bra. This bra widened my bustline and stuffed my breasts under my arms. If I were facing north, the girls would be looking east and west. Maybe this style would work well for someone with wide-set breasts or a wide ribcage. MrsBear from upstate NY, USA

I ordered this and the elomi amelia in 38h and both fit well. I had the old version of this bra in a different size and was expecting the same amount of "molding" but the cups are thinner and aren't what I would consider molded (as in, when you lay it down, the cups stay up and rounded... this does not). It's still a terrific bra and the elomi brand has help up longer than any other I've tried. Not the most modesty in the cups but not a deal breaker either. Can wear it with tshirts if they aren't super thin. Excellent full-coverage, seamless, everyday bra! Meghan from Houston, TX USA

I was really excited about this bra, until i tried it on. The straps, the seamless design, all good. The way it shaped my breasts, awful. My husband said it made me look like I had pecs. The bra pushed my breast/chest tissue up on my chest wall, but somehow shaped my breasts in a downward slope. Also, i feel I am very average in saying my breasts are asymmetrical, but my one breast spilled out, no matter how I tucked it, creating the dreaded quadraboob. I felt the cup size was correct as it fit the other breast, and I've not had that exact problem with my other bras. Brooke V from Iowa

For years I've struggled to locate the perfect bra. The search is over! Elomi is superior quality, sturdy, washes well, and offers THE best support out there while providing great shape. The tag says to hand wash, but I always throw them in the washing machine and sometimes even the dryer. They come through perfectly and last for years. The high sides provide excellent support for the underarm/side of breast fat/flab that older women sometimes get and/or those who have undergone surgery or extreme weight loss. I adore this bra! It's very supportive for my breasts, doesn't ride up in the back, the straps don't dig into my shoulders, the wire fits snug with no gaps, and the underwire hasn't torn through the fabric or poked me. Washes beautifully. So comfortable that I honestly forget I have it on. And the biggest bonus for me is that I have underarm floppy skin from a breast reduction 15 years ago. This bra holds it in tight (but not painful), with no problems. I'm going to order a couple more, as it's difficult to find the perfect bra and when you do, you want to be sure to always have them! Highly recommend. Maggie from Columbus, OH

Love this bra! I had this style in the leopard print but unfortunately put on some weight. It was the first bra I had ever had that allowed me to wear v-neck shirts without the bra showing. However, when I ordered the larger size due to weight gain I could not keep the strap on my shoulder. I don't think that it is the fault of the manufacturer but a problem with my spine. Unfortunately I was not able to identify this problem until I had worn the bra so I cannot return it. Becki from West Michigan

Just wasn't good fit in cup and was not soft or comfortable on your skin.

Elomi Response: Lori-Thank you for trying Elomi seamless EL3911 in 42 D2. Tomima's Tip for EL3911 is: "This bra runs large. Everyone should go down a band and cup size." Please refer to the Bra Fitting Advice Page on the Herroom website to ensure you're ordering the correct size. Another great seamless style from Elomi is Amelia Underwire Bandless Spacer Bra EL8740. It has seam-free breathable spacer foam cups that provide good shaping and firm support without adding size. In addition, side support cup panels of satin simplex fabric that help center breasts and prevent side spillage. Lori from Troy, NY

I gave this a 4 star because I don't know if there is a perfect bra.... I do like this one though. It is the second one I have ordered. It is a tiny bit big on the top half of the cup but I know that I am shallow there. I usually wear a 34F but wear a 34E in this bra. Gloria from Montrose, CO USA

This Bra stays in place, really does give support and is comfortable and well made. I usually wear a 34F and have this Bra in that size but the cups were too large and I could not wear it under t-shirts. After reading on HerRoom that the Elomi 3911 runs large I ordered 34E. I will be sending this back as it's one of the most uncomfortable bras I've ever tried. It's so hard to find a larger sized bra that isn't matronly looking. This one fit the bill, but is unwearable because the underwires are killer.

Elomi Response: Bella Your height suggests that EL3911 underwire sweep might be too full for your frame. Please consider Elomi's newest seamless style Amelia Underwire Bandless Spacer Bra EL8740 in 38 D-7. This is my first Elomi bra so I wasn't sure how I'd like it. It seems to be well constructed and the fabric is soft. Good support is offered, but I did find the cups to be somewhat minimizing, which is something I really didn't want. This will work well under t-shirts and sweaters where you want a smooth front. If I order another Elomi bra, I'll order up in the cup size because it will probably still offer the support but won't smash them like a minimizer bra does. Maggie M. from Columbus, OH

Great basic, smooth bra. Cups are thin--great if you don't want to add bulk. Mostly, this bra behaves a lot like minimizing bras I've tried. Breasts are sort of flattened and pushed to the side. It's helpful for me with some specific dresses and shirts, but not my everyday look. And universal cup size is so helpful! I measure a 38H, but in Elomi I am ALWAYS a 38FF. And nearly every 38FF fits me perfectly. K8lin

This bra is amazing! I hope they never stop making it!! I have tried for YEARS to get a comfortable bra that fits right, does not ride up and makes me feel like a woman. This is it! The fit is right! Holds up well in the washing machine (inside an undergarment washing bag of course!). You do have to take care if you pull it around your body to hook the clasps in front (like I was taught), the underwire breaks very quickly if you are not careful. Other than that....all I can do is pray that they keep making this bra for many years to come! Deb from Wisconsin

For the first time in many years, I have found a brand Elomi that fits like a glove. And the first time I've ever worn an F cup! It is made well and fits great. I love the straps, wide, adjustable and they don't fall off my shoulders. It rolls up a little in the back, but my excess flab causes that. This is a pretty bra too. I am no longer in tears walking out of a poorly stocked retail store that never offers the sizes I need. I recommend reading all of this website's articles regarding sizing and how to measure for a bra. It helped me tremendously. Cindie from Dallas, TX, USA

Normally a 42H but took the advice and ordered 40G. Settled on 42G after several returns and reorders. Her Room was great in that regard. Stuck it out because finding a seamless bra without extra padding is next to impossible at this size. Smooth and well made. Is indeed seamless under thinnest of white shirts. That said I rarely wear this bra because it is so uncomfortable. Widens out the front so pushes some fat up under my arms restricting movement - this could really use a vertical plastic support underarm to help push things forward. Also, the back band could really be wider for upper sizes with more hooks. This thin band wants to roll and makes the worst of back fat. Elomi is a good brand. Wish they would get the engineers to work on creating a better non padded T shirt bra design for the upper cup sizes.

Elomi Response: Thanks so much for your suggestions Pamela, we’ll be sure to pass them along to our designers. We offer two other seam-free styles which are built on the same frame, but will fit slightly differently than EL3911 - Nala Underwire Moulded Bra EL8710 , and Asia Underwire Molded Bra EL3913. You might want to tryHermione Underwire Bandless Molded Bra EL8120 : The spacer fabric cups will keep you super cool, and they won’t add size. Hermione also features a hidden side panel in the cups to help bring the breast tissue forward. Pamela from Georgia

I ordered a 36G instead of my usual 38G, as recommended. However, the band is painfully tight. I will have to see if I lose some weight before I can wear this bra. Because it doesn't have side supports on the cups, it tends to flatten out your breasts in a way that I don't like that much, but it is nice because it's not foamy. Personal preference will reign on this one, but I still haven't found the ideal t-shirt bra for large breasts.

Elomi Response: Elomi's Hermione Underwire Bandless Molded Bra EL8120 is the seamless bra you're looking for. I had to return for the next cup size up. I have a tiny bit of spillage with this; however, I am exercising and hoping this goes away. I am thrilled with these bras. The exchange was easy. I have been wearing them non-stop since I received them. I did put one of my old bras on to compare and it was such a huge difference. I felt the back strain from the old bra. This bra does an amazing job with support. I really don't like having such large breasts and this bra seems to help with that, visually. My young daughters even asked what happened to my chest while wearing the bras for the first time. I would highly recommend these bras and I will be buying again. The only thing I am sad about it is that they don't come in a variety of colors. I love to live out loud under my regular clothes. There is just something about knowing I have pretty colored matching bra and panties on that are hidden from the world. Jessica from Ocala, FL USA

Elomi Response: Jan- Please consider trying elomi Smoothing Foam Underwire Bra EL1220 in 36 D-6. Tomima's Tip for 1220 is "This bra runs a little large in the cups. The band of this bra is very comfortable, but there is TOO much fabric in the cups, causing bumps in clothing. As a tall gal, I typically have to adjust my bra straps to the very longest position...this bra has very short straps and pulls the back up. So sorry i removed the tags and cannot return it. This bra gave me a serious case of "torpedo boobs". The last thing I want with my GG-J breasts is for them to stick straight out from my chest in points, and that's what this bra did to them. Breasts this large tend to draw far more attention than I'd like without threatening to poke someone's eye out. It was promptly returned. I hated it, but I'm still giving it three stars since it was my shape preference that lead to my dislike of it. It seemed like an otherwise quality bra.

Pros: It fit real good, I wasn't popping out all over the place and it lifted me up. Cons: it flattened me out, I like a nice rounded shape and this bra made me look 2 cup sizes smaller. It did nothing for my fashion sense. I like pretty bras, this bra looks more like a sports bra. It fits the sterotype of a bra made for busty women (a bra your grandmother would wear, no frills) and i'm just not ready to compromise style for comfort. I'm on the look out for a comfortable, stylish bra. I guess i'll just have to keep looking.

Took fitters advice and started with, and kept 40F instead of my normal 42G size. Fit is OK - wires are the right size, band is just a little tight but fabric on the cups isn't deep enough. Flattens me out and makes everything wider in spite of the side supports. Fabric is soft, bra has excellent workmanship. I kept the original in spite of a not quite right fit. Just ordered a 42ff trying to get a less tight band and deeper cups. Band fit is right on and I usually use 42 band. Unfortunately the wires are way too big and although there seems to be enough fabric in the cups this size seems to be even worse at pushing everything flat so that it seems to get in the way of clear arm movement. Will return this size. Tanya from Georgia

I have never found a bra that gave me real support. While a 38D is not overly large, they are rather heavy and no bra has ever been able to hold them up. Elomi has accomplished the impossible! This is a great bra! Hard to fit from Seattle

I like the bra, but the wire digs into my armpits. I have only worn it once but I am going to try it again.

Elomi Response: Make sure you are in the correct size. Look at Tomimas fit tips for guidelines on the proper fit. Is the cup too big? Sometimes when you have a shorter upper torso the wires can dig under the arm. (Upper torso meaning the space between the shoulders and the underwire just under the breast tissue.) The underwire is too long and rubs on my armpits. I really need to return this bra.

Elomi Response: You are a very petite frame and the wires on the elomi styles might be too wide and full for your frame. You might want to try one of the Fantasie smooth styles like the new Rebecca spacer-fabric bra, or even some of the lace cut-and-sewn styles in Fantasie. The 3911 runs full in the band and the cup so you could even try it in a 38D6. Martha from Ann Arbor, MI.

Overall I love this bra but one of the wires is poking under the armpit. I'm undecided on keeping it. I'm short, 250# with heavy breasts so getting wires in this cup size that don't poke is difficult. All that said bra does indeed offer full coverage, is sturdy enough to be a workhorse bra and yet feels silky on the skin. Straps are slightly padded. Bra virtually disappeared under my thin white T shirt test. Dana from Georgia

I bought this bra because I have 2 of the elomi smoothing nursing bras and they are my absolute favorite nursing bras ever. I can't give this bra a very high rating for several reasons. 1. The underwire feels like it comes up too high under my arms and is not very comfortable. 2. It seems like it hold my breasts out to the side more than in front. Perhaps this is a fitting problem, I'm not really sure. It does give good support and the band and straps are comfortable.

Elomi Response: The 3911 runs full in the band and the cup, so it is difficult to judge your size in elomi based on this style. You might want to try our Hermione underwire bra 8120 in elomi that is a smooth cup spacer-fabric that is really comfortable and is a great fit. Andi from Selinsgrove, PA

This bra does not fit me correctly. I will be returning it.

Elomi Response: Was it the band or the cup? Be sure to look at Tomimas fit tips to make sure you are in the correct size. The 3911 in elomi does run a cup and a band size large, so you could try a 40F 40(D4) next time! Also the elomi Hermione bra style 8120 is a great style in a spacer fabric which is a breathable fabric great for summer. Rachel from Toledo

While I liked almost everything about this bra, I still had to return it. As is the case with most large cup bras, the side panels were more than seven inches high and right up into my armpits. My breasts sit high on my chest and even though numerous reviews recommended this particular bra as being an excellent solution for this issue, with the straps completely loose, the sides where still too high. Not all F cup breasts are hanging down to our navels, some are up even with our armpits!

Elomi Response: Please be sure you are in the correct size bra. Check Tomimas fit tips to make sure you are purchasing the correct size. When you measure the band get the tape measure right under your breasts and the size that you measure is the correct band size. The 3911 runs large in the band and the cup, therefore you would have to try a 44F cup. There are other options for you in the elomi brand that might fit lower under the arm like the Betty or the cleo bra styles. Betsy from West Michigan

I like the looks of it, but the cup is too large for me. Some gaping fabric at top of cups. Will exchange for something else. Band size is good.

Elomi Response: The 3911 runs large in the band and the cup. You might want to try it in a 40DD, or the elomi Asia bra style 3913 is also a great smoothing choice as is the elomi Hermione style 8210 which is a great spacer-fabric bra with a light contour to the cup. Margie

I learned of this line of bras from a professional bra fitter. However, she offered no seamless option. I ordered the same size as my other Elomi bras, but this one was a bit too large in the cup. The underwire feels like it's going into my armpit area. I really like the bra and will buy more, just will go a bit smaller on the cup size. Bev

It was the first time ordering Elomi, and the quality is fantastic. The sizing is way off, too big, and my girls were partially under my arms. I tried on Chantelle at Nordie's Rack, and the cups were closer together, but of course they didn't have the color I need (nude). I'm returning and ordering Chantelle Hedonna in a 36F (DDD=F from Chantelle) and hoping this will work better. Will post my results!

HerRoom Response: The size E in Elomi is one cup size larger than other brands. Elomi sizes their cups - D, DD, E, F etc.

Elomi Response: The Elomi 3911 runs full in the cup and the band. The Fantasie Esme bra style 2471 would be a great smoothing style for you or the Elomi Hermione style 8120 which is a spacer fabric that allows the fabric to breathe and is really comfortable. shelikescats from fresno ca

I thought this was a very ugly bra but if it had fit me well, I would have kept it. The band size felt generous but the bra spaces the girls too far apart; I felt that my boobs ended up in my armpits. Don't know if it is just this particular style of elomi bra of if this is typical of the brand but I will try other brands for now.

Elomi Response: This elomi bra runs full in the band and the cup as well. If you want to try another style that will pull you closer together you might try the Freya deco style 4232, which is a plunge style that gives a lot of “vavoom” and cleavage. You may also want to try the Fantasie 4510 contour cup that pulls the breasts up and gives a nice lifted appearance. Maria from Seattle, WA

I am very happy with this purchase. I can count on one hand the number of bras that have fit me perfectly in my lifetime, and I'm over 60 years old! This one fits!!! I don't have to worry about straps that dig into the shoulders; the band and underwire hold all the weight. The side boning lets the "girls" appear prominently without being pushed under the armpits the way a lot of minimizer bras do. I have only one small caveat, the inside "slings" could be a bit larger. Thank you for a plus size bra that actually separates the breasts! I don't like the look of a horizontal tube sitting on my chest. A bra is supposed to tuck in all the way in the middle, not poke out in the center. For some reason it is hard to find that in a large cup bra. This one works beautifully and is supportive all the way around. And the seamless smooth look is perfect -- no scratchy lace or seams showing through. As with all bras, I keep wishing for a much wider back and wider straps but companies still keep making the narrower designs. Overall, the bra is comfortable and well made. Sue from Minnesota

Finally a bra that fits. I wear a small band size (34) and have large saggy breasts . My cup measurement is 43 inches which equals GG in this bra. Retail stores do not carry bras for my size. I have to special order and return them if they don't fit. After doing this numerous times, I finally found one that provides the support I need. It is comfortable and works well under T-Shirts. I have finally found my perfect bra! Figuring out the right size from the conversion chart was the biggest challenge. I selected one in each color and submitted my order. Within 4 business days my bras were here... I couldn't wait until I had the chance to try them on. I find the straps extremely comfortable, the cups are supportive and hold my breast tissue in from the sides toward the center of the cup. My breasts are held all day in the same place they were when I was in my late 20's early thirties without having to pull the band down or adjust the underwire throughout the day. The fabric is very comfortable, just enough give for all day wear yet I feel well supported. I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love! Suggestions should be heeded when they advise you to go down a cup and band size. I am ordering the Elomi 1220. Pricing for this quality of bra is reasonable. Excellent customer service. Wonderful product. I will be a return customer for as long as I have breasts! Grady0317 from Orlando, Florida

I love the Elomi Caitlin and this one I think is great too but for some reason, the sizing is different than the Caitlin. The cup size is larger and maybe the band too, a bit. There is enough excess material near the armpit, i am tempted to add a dart to the cup material but am loath to ruin their wonderful engineering. That said, it still doesn't bind, pinch, or roll over and it gives me a very appealing shape. Kerry from Wenatchee, WA, USA

This bra was the most supportive bra I have ever tried. However, the underwires did not have any give to them. I couldn't even bend over and use my arms. This is the style I keep coming back to. It supports really well and I don't get over-hang (spillage) or anything falling out the bottom. The only problem that I've had is that the wires will snap in half. They haven't poked out to hurt me, but there is less support when it happens. I was on the verge of getting reduction surgery because I can not workout or even walk on a regular basis because of the control issue.....altho the bras I ordered were not specifically for sports....they both are wonderful. I have complete control and the girls are back where they belong.....The spacing is great and shape is very natural......You have to get this bra! Shelby from Nashville

was uncomfortable and made my breast look really flat and as with most bras I try it gave me the "cone boob". I don't understand why I can't find a bra that gives a nice round shape.

Elomi Response: A smooth cup will usually give a more minimized shape unless it is a contour or padded bra. Try the Elomi 1221 if you want a plunge push-up molded cup or the Elomi 1220 which is also a contour cup but without the push-up, both will give you a rounder shape! Angela from VT

The bra fits good, it's pretty comfortable, the only thing i don't like is that it separates my breasts. When you are big chested with a smaller waist you don't really want them separated, it makes you look wider. I have a hard time finding the right bra, but this will work in the mean time. This is the best bra I have ever worn. I bought one months ago, but couldn't remember where. Found 'HerRoom' and was elated to find they carried this bra. I had breast reduction about 20 years ago and have an impossible time wearing an underwire bra because it rides the scar and hurts. This bra fits the way a bra should, I can wear it all day and never think twice about it. Claudia from Oakland, MI, USA

First of all I sent this item boyfriend's address since mail and packages get stolen from my apt, and so since it was addressed to a boy, the BRA was wrapped in blue paper with a sticker to HisRoom. Very funny we both laughed (he will check out the site though!) BUT this bra is amazing. Never in my life did I ever think I would be able to find one that fit! I'm not plus sized, just a really big chest and for once I don't feel like I am swimming in material. Very supportive and comfortable. I followed the sizing instructions and it fits perfectly. I also love how there is almost zero back fat with this bra!! Love this and will definitely be ordering more in the future =] Nicole from Pittsburgh

Love this Bra, my shoulders are a little tight after my 1st week of wearing but I think that means the support is from the shoulders more than the underwire. This is the first bra the front didn't stick out because my cup was so full, I am well endowed and they seem to stick out in between the cups by the end of day. Hallelujah. I have a large cup size, but I am not plus size and it is so difficult to find a bra with large cups and the right size band. This is my second bra from this brand and I will continue to buy more. The cup is nicely shaped, the separation is perfect, but the band is awful. It's too narrow in back, which causes significant "overage" on top of the band. Thicker shoulder straps would be good and more padding on the underwire would be a definite improvement. All in all, the fit is where I need it to be, but the thin band in back will keep me from buying this bra in the future. Natalee from Seattle, WA

I followed the recommendation of the fit tips and ordered the 36GG (I usually wear a 36H). It fits with no room to spare. The cup is cut odd. There is more material under the arm between the strap and the back leaving the bra baggy under the arm (I also had this problem with the seamless foam bra but not with the caitlyn bra). I ordered this and the foam one as well. Loved them both. They lift and separate without having the underwire poke out the front. I really like this bra. It is the first bra I've ever had that sits against my breast bone but the band is so tight. The cup fits perfectly - so do I try a 40G or a 40FF?

Elomi Response: We’re so glad you love this bra! You just need a minor adjustment for that custom fit: If the cup fits you perfectly and you want to keep the cup size the same, just go up a band size and down a cup size (40FF). Jean from US

Great fit, shaping and great support-that's hard to find in an H cup (US). Check the size chart on this one-it doesn't match with US sizing, so you may have to try more than once to find the right cup fit. But trust me, it is worth it! Deb from Florida

Because of your "Tomima's Tip" I sized down in this, and it is WAY too small. Do not believe the tip, readers! I think you might even want to size UP in the band. (Normally I'd choose a 40G; the 38F was too small both ways. If I were to purchase again I would try a 40G or 42G.) This is *very* disappointing and needless to say it casts doubt on any "tips" or "fitter's comments" on this site.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry you did not notice our example in the tip. Going down a cup size and a band size means the cup size stays the same. If you are normally a 40G, you should have tried a 38G. Barbara from U.S.

This is one great bra! It offers strong support and comfort all in one package. I'm an H cup and this bra really does lift and separate terrifically. My only caution is that you CHECK ELOMI'S SIZE CHART- it differs from traditional US sizing. I actually had to try 2 different sizes to find the one that suited me best. The 42FF was a little small, so I went up to a 42G and that one fits perfect. This is best bra I've tried so far (and I've tried many!) dbart91 from Hollywood FL

I tried 3 times to get this to fit. When i finally got the right cup size (because you have to be exact), then the straps wouldn't lie against my chest in front and in back they puckered. It just isn't the right bra for my body shape. :(

Elomi Response: You may be right, perhaps this bra might not be the right style for your body shape. But I just want to make sure you’re putting the bra on properly. This step is vitally important if the bra is to do the work it was designed to do and will make all the difference in how the bra fits: Make sure to bring the breast tissue forward in front of the under wire into the cup. The center front should lie flat against the breast bone. …And don’t forget to adjust the straps – perhaps that’s why the straps ‘puckered’ (that can also happen if the band is too loose around the body). Very often going down in the band and up in the cup will solve the problem. California Cbeee from Lake Elsinore

I cannot say enough good things about the Elomi 3911! The straps are comfortable and do not slip--yay! The entire bra stays put all day long with no riding up or need for the occasional adjustment or tugging. The separation is amazing—the underwire lies flat against my chest and doesn't dig in anywhere—whew! The cup fabric is firm enough to contain and shape, so there is no bounce at the top of the cups. Because of the separation and the perfect cup fit, this style is practically a minimizer. Just the fact that my girls aren't all smooshed together in the middle makes everything appear....smaller, somehow. This is my go-to bra for every day. And when I want a bit more personality, I wear the Elomi 3913 Asia leopard-print bra, because it is IDENTICAL to the Elomi 3911 except for the fun print. Karli from Iowa

Even though this bra does not fit me quite as well as the Elomi Caitlyn, I want to give it five stars. Women who have smaller rib cages, large breasts and sloping shoulders have a difficult time finding bras. This bra, along with the Caitlyn, are the only bras I have ever worn that give me lift and lies flat against my sternum. And I have tried many bras. Nice bra but poor fit for me. Top all gathered. Perhaps its not the bra but the size I chose. This was the first time I went down across the band and way up the bra cup. I tried two Elomi bras and I prefer the one with the molded cup by far. Great site so glad I found them.

elomi Response: Generally we recommend going down a cup in #3911 when comparing it to the #1220. If there were gathers in the top cup, the cup was too big. Fanci from Sunny , Fl

This is one of the better underwire bras I have been able to find in my size. It seems most bra makers stop making underwire bras once you get past a 46DD; then they go to soft cup which is ludicrous since it's women who have have higher than an 46E that really need an underwire!!! I digress...

The cup was a little small for my bust but was the highest available in my size. I don't mind squeezing into it since it provides superior lift, separation, and the strength of a posture bra without being one. I highly recommend this bra to anyone with a larger chest who needs a good underwire bra. It's well worth the hefty price. MEA

Love, love, love this bra! I am small waisted with a huge natural bust. It is quite challenging to find good fitting, supportive bra. I do normally were a 36G in the Elomi brand. I went sown a size like suggested. It is a slight bit to small, but I think if I stayed at a 36G it would of been to big. I am currently a year into nursing, so my breast are still shrinking. Which makes the tight fit ok for me because it will just keep fitting better as I continue to shrink. I have 2 other styles of Elomi bras, and this is by far my fave so far. However the straps do slip from time to time and the wires are a bit too long, they do lay flat on my chest in the center but tend to poke me in the arm pits. Karen from New Mexico

I didn't find this bra to be comfortable at all. It also gave a weird shape to my breasts from the side. I found the underwire to be somewhat binding,...maybe I need a larger size, I don't know. I just find it annoying that you have to guess what size you wear from brand to brand. A 44DD should fit the same in any bra.

Elomi Response: I agree, it is annoying to have to guess your size depending on the brand, however I find I have to do a bit of the same when buying jeans I’m not familiar with…Through trial-and-error, and patience, it is possible to find the perfect fit! Generally speaking, if the under-wire feels like it’s ‘binding’ the cup is too small, also if the breast tissue is “packed” into a cup that’s too small, it can distort the shape of the breasts and not show them off to their best advantage. You might try a 44E (DDD). Mary from Chcaigo, IL

Not totally happy with fit, holds the girls a little high and comes up under arms a little high, good construction, would not buy another though.

Elomi Response: We love to hear about the girls being held high, however we know how uncomfortable it can be when the bra digs into the underarm! This bra has a very generous cup, and sometimes we’ll go down in the cup size for a perfect fit. Alternatively, you might try Elomi 1220 (a molded foam cup) but it doesn’t add bulk. It’s a bit more tapered, cut lower in the front and under the arms. joyce

This is a great fitting bra I hate to take it off. I am ordering in another color now. The best fit I have had in a long time. The back stays down and doesn't ride up at all. The straps stay on my shoulders, and even with my body fat, NO Roll! I was so tired of buying bras at Lane Bryant and Avenue that just didn't have the right fit, but they had the size. I found a shop while on vacation and the girls helped me find the right size in this 3911. I payed a higher price for it there, but the service was worth it. Now I am ordering a 2nd color from you. I'm ecstatic over the fit of this bra!! It is the very first time I have found a bra where center front actually rests/touches my chest and gives much desired separation. I've always struggled with shoulder straps slipping off of my shoulders, but this bra properly fitted has eliminated this problem. This bra is comfortable, fits well and offers excellent support and as a dancer this is important to me. I'm all ready a repeat customer !! Rosemary from Morgan Hill, California, USA

I love this bra! It supports me and holds me up better than any other bra I have ever owned! It was a little uncomfortable at first, but just like a great pair of shoes it is great after wearing it in. I love that it has 3 hooks in the back instead of 4, so I don't feel strapped in. I will definitely be buying some more, but would love to see them on sale! J from VA

This will have to be a wear around the house bra. The cups fit fine but the shoulder straps were too big even after I adjusted them to the tightest position. Might be because I am 5 foot 1 inches tall. Needless to say it gave me no support at all.

This is the best fitting bra I have ever owned. Great support and separation. I like the fact that it only has 3 hooks in the back rather then 4 or 5 making you feel like you are wearing your grandmother's bra. Smooth fit under tees but has enough fabric for modesty. The band does seem to run a size larger so my next order will be the smaller size band. I love this bra and highly recommend it. It is well worth the extra cost. After finding the right size in this bra, I can say I like it a lot. I originally took Tomima's Tip advice and ordered the bra one band size smaller than I normally do (a 44 instead of a 46) since she noted it ran large. But the 44 was way too tight, so I got a 46 and it fits much better-- maybe even a bit snug still, but not too much so. I am wearing a 46DD and that is my usual size. The bra does give great and solid support and shaping, and it's smooth fabric is perfect under knits. All in all, one of the best bras I ever have found in my size. The only drawback in my opinion is that the cups have no give at all-- no stretch. I bought two, though, and am glad that I did. Carrie from Indianapolis, IN

Another disappointment. Perhaps I should quit expecting to find a decent bra for a large bust -- even one as pricey as this one. The fit was horrible -- cup size didn't come close to every other bra of the same size I've tried. I honestly wondered if it was an error. The fit looks great in photos but I was very disappointed and am returning the bra. So much for expensive, award-winning bras! Andrea from Utah

The bra fits great, feels great and is priced better than Le Mystere, Oprah's pick. I like this bra better than both the LM9955 and 965. I prefer a less molded fit because I am large enough added padding is not ideal.... The Elomi 3911 is so comfortable. Tomima's tip to go down band size was great but I think I should have gone down a cup size too because I have a little excess space in the cup. I will definitely order this bra again!! I'm normally a 36H, and in this bra I'm a 36G, but it fits very well. My girls are set slightly wide, and this bra gives great side support without side boning, which is nice. The fact that there's lining but not pre-shaped foam that you have to shift yourself into is also nice. I can honestly wear this bra all day at work and not have to constantly refit it or feel chafed at the end of a 16 hour day - pretty good for a bra this size. M from California

I've always had problems finding a bra that provided support and didn't feel like it was going to permanently scar me. The person who came up with 'side boning' on bras for full figured women should be shot. This bra provides support and coverage for the girls and I don't feel like I have to rip it off the moment I walk in the house. I also own the molded cup version of this bra and I love both. I love this bra once I got the right cup size. The web site says to go down a band size but keep your cup size, but I had to go up a cup size. Keep that in mind when ordering. This bra is perfect for larger breasted women. I am average all over but have a large bust. I have searched endlessly for great bras that truly last and can hold everything up where it's supposed to be. This bra does that. I have to admit, like other reviewers, the underwire did hurt after a full day of wear. Yet, after more wear and a couple washes it doesn't any more. This is a great/quality bra. Worth the money. The HerRoom sizing chart is wrong. I wear a 36J, and the HerRoom sizing chart for this bra said I should order a 36GG since it was UK sizing. I received the bra today and it was too small, as well as the elomi tag on the bra states that the UK and US sizing are the exact same. If the bra would have fit, I think I would have liked it very much. I'm very disappointed the HerRoom sizing chart is wrong.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry you did not understand our sizing chart. It is, however, accurate. If you are a 36J in UK sizing, you would be a 36H (not 36GG) in the Elomi sizing. You did buy a bra one size too small. Jasmine from Manchester, New Hampshire

I have been on the quest for a bra that fits for quite sometime. I've always been busty but after nursing two kids, well. . . I bought this bra because a friend of mine who is shorter, but similarly well-endowed (34J) recommended it. For the first time ever, the center piece of the bra lays flat on my chest - I didn't think someone my size could achieve that. My ladies are separated and looking good. I like that the back of the bra isn't huge. I was a little concerned because I am used to more coverage, but I am not popping out the top. However, I have been wearing the bra all day and the underwire is digging into my rib cage . . . though it must be said that the back has not ridden up; another common problem for me. I will try washing the bra and wearing it on the loosest row of hooks instead of the middle row of hooks, but I think I am still searching . . .this isn't it. Jodi

This bra is very well made and exactly as described as far as I can tell. But I would certainly recommend it only for someone tall with broad shoulders. At 5'3" and 150lbs, even pregnant my frame is much too narrow for the this design. The straps are way too far apart, although the band size was appropriate. I wish someone made bras like this for smaller frames, b/c I can't find anything with a lining that fits! The shape of this would have been just what I wanted. Kimberly from Ohio

Several months ago, at the local bra specialist they gave me this bra in a 42I w/extender (later found out that was the wrong size, but it was all they had and I guess they had to make a sale to keep up with quota). Still, wrong size and all, it was pretty comfortable. A light went off in my head, that I could get the right size, if I ordered off the internet, and I ordered it through Herroom after an extensive phone conversation with their personal shopper. I ordered a 44FF (UK size), which felt very good, except for a little puckering in the front of the cup. But then I put on the 44F(UK), and I knew I had found the perfect bra! Snug, not tight, smooth cups, not too much pressure on the shoulders, center bow flat up against the chest wall and cleavage. For 40 years, after I had to give up my undershirt, I have never worn a comfortable bra-----until now. This is so comfortable and fits so well. I am overjoyed. Kudos to the Herroom staff. I must have called 5-6 times before I finally placed my order for some other bras, too (haven't tried them on yet) and everyone was so patient and so knowledgeable. The shipping was amazingly fast - I ordered on a Saturday afternoon, and the PO brought it Monday afternoon. Although it is counter-intuitive, I will never shop at the local bra specialty store again. They purport to 'fit' you, but then stuff you into whatever they have. At Herroom, you can buy different sizes, try them on at home, and make a decision knowing you have several choices. Jane from Houston

I found this bra to provide good fit and support, and to look very nice under clothes (no seams). It is about as comfortable an underwire as I have worn. I've only had it for a few weeks, and worn it 5-6 times, so I haven't seen how it will stand up long term, but it seems to be a very practical bra. I absolutely love this bra. It provides the perfect support and I never have to adjust it during the day, unlike with my last bra. The cups gaped a little under the arms, but fortunately I purchased it from a small lingerie store who does alterations; they did a quarter inch dart on each side and that took care of the problem. Oh, I do love the way this bra fits at first blush. I have only tried it on, so not aware of how it will wear, but it sure seems nice. The cups are wonderful - supportive, nice shape (up and firm, more rounded as per a t-shirt bra), great separation, too. Straps feel very good, so does band. The first thing I noticed after it was on is that is doesn't feel like it's on. Sizing is exactly right based on other bras and the fitting I had. It looks lovely under a t-shirt.
Except...the boning under the arm is awfully firm. I don't know how it will work over time, but I guess I'll find out. That keeps me from giving it 5 stars as does that I don't know how it wears over time or even feels after wearing it many hours. Annie from Chicago/IL/USA
