If you are short waisted this is not a good bra for you. I have to send it back because the wires went all the way down to my last ribs. Super frustrating.
HerRoom Response: It is noted you are petite in height. It's also important to make sure you have pulled this bra up high enough so that hte underwires are resting in your breast crease.

I love it. This lifts and supports WHILE keeping me very close to my natural shape (bottom-heavy, a little wide-spaced) so it does not put push, pull, and contort my breast tissue uncomfortably/unattractively. I bought this to go with an off-the-shoulder dress but will probably end up wearing it with the straps on a day-to-day basis. Also great quality - as nice/nicer than $80+ bras I've had.

Seems sturdy enough even as a large breasted woman. Only issue is the boning which I know is needed for the best support... but really would be nice if it had more padding. My ribs are not fond of something pressing that hard against them.

Good supportive convertible bra. Only reason for a 4 insead of 5 stars is it felt heavy/thick. I want a strapless bra for summertime and I get hot enough on my own LOL so don't want a bra that adds to the heat.

Fit well, good support. Two issues:
1. The gripper band irritates my skin. Not sure if the fit is not as good as I think or if my skin just doesn't like the material.
2. The location of the strap hooks in the front are way too far into my armpits (even the set that's closer in). So I end up with the hooks digging into my upper breast tissue and it leaves marks. (Not unique to Elomi.)
Elomi Response: The strap hooks on most strapless styles are placed to accommodate a more open neckline. If you are looking for a convertible style with straps that sit a little closer to the neck, then we suggest the Elomi Bijou bra (EL8722). Bijou is a traditional t-shirt bra and features a J-hook for your racer-back tops and dresses. Also, the hooks digging in suggest that the cups are too small. You’ll likely find a more comfortable fit in a 40GG.

This is by far the best bra I've ever worn!! It's the most comfortable and the best constructed bra for my build -- short, 46DD. It is so comfortable that I wear it all the time, while my other bras (with straps) gather dust in the drawer. Yes. I wear it strapless under everything. You see, I have sloping shoulders and bras with straps always -- without fail -- slide off my shoulders. I am constantly reaching inside my top to pull the straps up. Not with this bra! I love it. It is pricey but the comfort is well worth it. Great support too.

Item was returned. It covered only 1/3 of breast, overflowing.
Elomi Response: Evelyn
We appreciate that you ordered the Elomi strapless in 38FF. By your description on how EL1230 fit, I would suggest going up in the cup. Tomima's Tips for EL1230 are, "Consider going up a cup size if you are between sizes. The cups run a little shallow." Another tip when buying a strapless bra, "the band should be snug!" If the band is too loose, the bra will shift & move and will not offer the support needed when wearing a strapless bra. Make sure your breast tissue is positioned in the cup properly too!
Please consider consulting the Bra Fitting Advice Page on the Herroom website. This will guide you through the steps to help determine your correct band & cup size. Also, consider looking at "How to Put a Bra On" on the Herroom website.

Elomi Response: Alexa-
We're sorry Elomi 1230 in 44 D-3 didn't work for you. Purchasing a strapless bra can be a daunting task. The key to wearing a strapless bra is having a snug band
and the correct cup size. Please consult the Bra Fitting Advice Page on the Herroom website to help determine your corrrect band and cup size.

This bra fits well. I thought the cup size was a little short for me (Goddess brand provides more cup"depth" top to bottom), but it would be suitable for a low-cut strapless dress. I am wearing strapless bras daily due to shoulder pain, and find I'm able to wear this one comfortably all day. The cup "width" seems true to size. I am keeping it and will enjoy wearing it, but I prefer the Goddess Marilyn strapless bra.

I had high hopes for this strapless bra, but it was just too wide at the top and didn't give me a flattering shape. I think maybe it is too much to ask that a strapless bra in this size will be flattering.

I just received this bra today and the band size was a good fit but the cup size was too small. I read the Perfect Bra Fitting Checklist and measured myself which I am 41 1/2 so I rounded up to 42 and then I measured around the fullest part of my breasts which is 52. So I am a 42 J, I followed the chart and my universal Cup Sizing is D7. I am disappointed that they don't have a larger cup size. On the upside I did not expect the next day delivery, I am impressed and will keep searching for the right fit bra on this site.

This strapless bra provides more support than any others I have tried. In fact, I had given up on being able to wear a beautiful formal dress for lack of support for "the girls". This bra allows me to wear the dress and not look like I am sagging. It does not make me look overly pointy, but unfortunately it does not minimize projection - although support and minimizing in a strapless bra at a size 36FF may be much to much to ask!
It is relatively comfortable and stays up well due to the rubbery edges. The back strap is wide enough to minimize back fat overhang, and overall lays well. I would strongly recommend giving this one a try!

I was hoping to use this bra for my upcoming wedding. Bought a strapless gown without owning a working strapless bra. After reading previous reviews I thought this would work. It arrived with deattached straps so clearly it's not exclusively intended as a strapless bra. The molded cups were in my opinion an unnatural almost triangular shape and while it technically fit, it was not flattering nor did it offer strapless support. I ended up sending it back. I would suggest you are familiar with elomi molded cups before investing in this product or be comfortable with the possibility of having to make a return (and pay your own shipping for it.)
Elomi Response:
Most designer strapless bras come with detachable straps so the bra has dual use as a regular bra and a strapless bra. If the bra did not give the proper support it is possible that the size was incorrect. If the band is not tight enough it will not give the best support. This is one of the only strapless bras in your size. Sorry it did not work for you.

I ordered this bra in a 42 E on the advice of a HR Rep. I wear a 42 ddd in my everyday bras. The band was tight and my breasts were too large for the cups. I returned this bra :(
Elomi Response:
Try the 42 F or FF. Stay with the 42 band because you need it tight enough that it will not fall down when you are wearing it. Strapless bras need to be snug, but the cup was too small which makes the band feel more snug as well. This is a super great fitting strapless bra when you get it in the correct size!

I wear this bra strapless. It looks smooth under tops and supports well. My only issue is that after a few hours the strap (the part with the fasteners-specifically just past the armpit edge of the foam cup) really starts to dig into my skin and gets uncomfortable. An adjustment fixes that, but it's still enough to give it 4 out of 5.

I was in a frantic mode to find a strapless bra for a wedding I was in this past weekend. I had ordered several other bras (from other sites) but none of them fit in the cup. So I took a stab at this Elomi strapless number! I have to say that this bra is WONDER! I felt completely comfortable and sturdy in it. There was no movement from it. My girls were molded and held up. I wish that more of my "everyday" bras would fit just like this one. If you are looking for a strapless bra, look no further! I am always skeptical when reading reviews, but I what I'm saying is 100% the truth. This bra made me feel secure and sexy all at the same time! If you are considering it, BUY IT!!!

I ordered this bra to wear in a friend's wedding (halter-style dress) and am so happy with it! I have never owned a strapless bra because I have not found one available in my size. This bra is very comfortable and fits exceptionally well, especially for a strapless. The band is not overly tight and when worn, the straps are soft and don't cut in. Very happy and will consider more Elomi bras.

Very comfortable and true to size (as compared to other Elomi bras I've bought in the past.) I wore it out the other night with a strapless dress and it gave proper support and was surprising comfortable for a strapless bra. This is coming from a chick who has NEVER worn anything strapless because I could never find a strapless bra that fit my big boobs and yet was small enough around the ribs. Elomi is the best - I loooove that their sizes fit people like me (36E/DDD).
