I ordered this bra for my wedding in August. I measured around so I should’ve been a 44 but when I ordered the bra the 44 Was Way too big. I’ve already returned it and I’m waiting for the exchange. Other than it being too big the bra is absolutely wonderful and I will be ordering from her room again. Georgette from Albany, NY, USA

The Elila Lace longline Bra fit very well. It is comfortable. I did not need a extension to button in the back. Tiffany from Corryton, TN

the cup is excellent but extremely generous the first time a E cup is too large. This is a well made garment with excellent support and comfort. I will buy a different size but the same brand O

I love my garment. The fit was flattering and the boobs were up. I took the advice of ordering cup size up and other size down. Overall shipping arrived early next day ( like 10 am next day delivery). Very impressed by that, as the wedding was that Saturday. My only reason I gave a 4 was because my bra was missing the strap components in the zip lock bag. It wasnt attached to my bra. I appreciate all of your assistance and i plan to reorder from this site. I love great bras for busty women. Kyra from Houston , TX

I bought according to Elila size recommendations and it still didn't fit. The cups were too large, which NEVER happens to me (I'm a 42H) and the extender they recommend was completely useless. It was scratchy and uncomfortable.

Elila Response: We suggest adding 3" – 4” to your diaphragm measurement to find your band size then measure your high bust point and deduct that measurement from your band size to get your cup size.  Susan from California

As with the other long line that I purchased, I had to go up two band sizes but the cup was accurate. This is a very nice bra but too long for me - might be ok if I was taller or if I didn't ever sit down. Kendall from Houston, TX

This was a pretty frustrating purchase, even with all the details and fitter comments. I am a 38G(D6) in most styles. I read the fitter notes and ordered a 40I(D6) to start - too small in the band, too large in the cups. I tried 3 more sizes and ended up getting a 42F (2 bands up, 3 cups down). Even then, the cups are slightly big and boning is not great. I can fix that but beware when you order.

Elila Response: Elila sizing is +4 which means that you measure your band then add 4” so if it measures 38” then you start with a 42 band.  If you are curvy go up a band size to 44.  Since you started in UK sizing with a D6 I will assume your bust measured is 47” at the fullest point. The difference between 42 – 47 is 5” which makes you a 42E/DD.  I hope this helps with your sizing in Elila. Kathy from St. Louis, MO

This corset has boning IN THE CUPS. At first I thought it was weird, but man, my ladies aren't moving an inch. The top of the cup was too big, so I had it taken in, then my wedding dress constructed around it. This will be the first strapless dress in my life where I won't have to tug it up all day. Highly recommend for under a wedding dress if you're ok with boning on your tatas. Naomi

Love it....beautifully made, sexy and chic. You should go up a size and down a cup size for proper fit. I also purchased the Elila strapless bra without the lace and the lace one fits and looks better. If you follow the tip of going up and down a cup size, you will be happy too. Please offer more colors in lace like red for the fabulous girls!!!! Izettarenee from Virginia

I work w/Brides. This customer is plus size & has trouble finding her size in the market. I am happy to report that the Elila long line looks to be an excellent choice of support for her. She does need to use an extender across the back, but she feels good & looks great w no spillage across the top or roll lines from a strapless bra. Ladies - allow time to ship back & forth to get your correct size & most will have a great fit. Wedding gowns from Westlake OH

I purchased is for my wedding dress. The cup size is absolutely perfect; however, the band size fits tighter than my bra band size 38. I had to order a long line bra extender to make it work. It would be nice if HerRoom also offered the extenders because it was difficult finding one that matched the hooks perfectly (the one I found does not).

HerRoom's Response: Thank you for your feedback! HerRoom does offer bra extenders and recommend you trying Va Bien Bra Extender 104 for this longline style. Jamilah

Went down (according to reviews) a cup size and it was still huge and too tight around. Don't think I will be reordering this bra. I already have issues buying online, but being my size it's hard to fit my bras in store. Was hoping to use with my wedding dress but don't think I would get it back in time and honestly have no clue which size would work best, totally not a normal size bra.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. Elila has unique bra sizing. Please refer to our comment on the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. We recommend going up a band size and down two cup sizes. If you are typically a 36F, we recommend trying a 38D (D1). Danielle from Edgewood, NM

The garment around the waist fits perfect. I have a bit of tummy and it pulls it in VERY well. However the cups are great too but has a cone shaped boob effect. can easily be smoothed out by a bandeau bra around the breast. Great buy, Happy Shopping!! p.s go down a Cup or two in the breast area. You wont regret it. Sharell from 27409

While I like the piece, the sizing runs very odd. I wear a 34 DDD and order that plus a 36 with a smaller cup as the rep suggested. Both do not close on me. The cups are also shaped very pointy but I thought if I could get it to shut it would have been okay since there is no lining they would have probably shaped to me.

Elila Response: Elila fits classically so we suggest that you measure your diaphragm and add 4” so if you normally measure 34” then you would be an Elila 38. After measuring your bust, make sure to deduct this measurement from the Band to get your cup size. Christine from Maple Shade, NJ, USA

Go a size smaller than what you normally order. I usually purchase a DD cup, and I still have plenty room in a C cup. I like that there are 3 rows of hooks to adjust the corset fit. Jessica from Bossier/LA/USA

This longline bra is the best I have ever tried. I think not having a molded cup is the best for my poor teardrop girls! In molded bras, I have to get an I cup, this style fit me in an H cup very well. It really sucks in my waist, gives me a great shape and puts the girls up high again! JB from AR

Just wore it for the first time tonight. The waist fit is great. Holds you in and is not binding and doesn't fold over or roll up. The cup was a bit roomy. Could have used a smaller cup size but couldn't tell it under my clothing. Will purchase again. Sheila from Inglewood

I ordered this bra In the size I normally wear 44H, cups were to big, ordered a 44F still big no support. However the bra felt great I came to realize I'm too heavy for this bra. Went to a bridal store and the same thing happened. Yvette from Los Angeles

Fits perfectly. Follow the instructions on the site on sizing up a little. The band size was up a whole size for me, and it fit like a 36 does. Beautiful. It'll be great under my wedding dress. The only complaint is against my own body. Unfortunately when your boobs are two different sizes, it's going to fit a little weird. Obviously you have to size on the larger one for things like this. I love it, though. Very comfortable. Jade from Wisconsin

The cup was too big and the material is itchy and it feels like something is sticking you. The body fit was as they said buy it one size larger. But I feel if you buy one size larger then you should drop one size in the cup.

HerRoom Response: You are exactly right, we advise customers to go up a band and down a cup in this particular style. Sherry from Cleveland, Ohio USA

Its great to find a strapless bra to holdup large chest. The only thing I would say is if you have a tummy it may bend a little when I sit down. But it's a good find because it supports my chest. Shaunda from Fl

I ordered from the recommendation that you should select one band size above your size you regularly wear. I kept the cup size the same. It fit perfectly. Definitely go the one size larger than your regular band size. I also ordered the next size up just in case, but it was too large and the cup was also too large. So if you are leary on what size to get, you should be safe with one size larger than your normal band size and the same cup size, don't increase the cup too. Colleen from Washington

The cups were large and came up fairly high-much higher on me than what appears in the photo (way over my dress neckline...which isn't super low). The bodice was very supportive, but cups were overly large. I usually wear a 34DDD (i'm genetically well-endowed) but this seemed to run a little bit big....would be a great strapless for large-breasted women, just not quite right for me.

Elila Response: The Elila strapless longline is a full coverage garments with firm support so the cups will be fuller. We suggest going down a cup for less coverage. AW from Dallas, TX

I don't like the shape of it at all, but I haven't gotten around to returning it due to time. The cups are strongly shaped. I have never seen anything like it before and it kind of pulls my boobs down instead of holding them up.

Elila Response: It sounds like the garment was on the small side for you. Try the Elila 4820 strapless bra that goes to an I cup. It works great with the style 8203 shapewear bottom to give your body a smooth appearance. Erin from 85041

I ordered a size up (band) and size down (cup) but the band was still too tight and the cup still to large. Ended up exchanging twice before getting the right fit. I am regularly a 34GG and ended up with a 42E. Tip: Go up 2-3 band sizes and down 2 cup sizes. The material was nice and felt comfortable. The cups are as comfortable as can be expected for an undergarment like this. Ordered this to wear underneath my bridesmaid dress. Gigi from PA

Love this bra!! I am a T-girl who grew up wearing firm, long-line bras and had always wanted to find a modern yet retro-style one at an affordable price and this one is lovely. The under wire cups have a lovely shape with forms and they are large enough to hold he forms in completely yet still allow reasonable cleavage and the fit as recommended by Herroom (up one band size, down a cup size) is perfect. The only downside its the bra's very visible vertical support stays which will print through light fabric dresses, so select your outerwear appropriately. Thank you Herroom, fabulous garment and service Maria from Oregon

The tummy control on this is AMAZING. Bought it to wear under my wedding dress. The cups do run a little bit big though. I initially ordered it in a 40G, as some of the reviews suggested to go up in the band size and down in the cup. I ended up exchanging it for my true size, 38H. The cups are still a little roomy, but it fits everywhere else so I'm keeping it. Definitely recommend! Jana

Not for a plus size woman like myself. I agree with women who have said this garment is too high in front for a v-neck. You cannot get it on in the correct size without help - and I even went up one size from my usual 36. I would not recommend to women with stomach "rolls". I wore this garment for four hours, sitting for two, to test it out to wear under a bridesmaid's dress. The garment is supportive enough, but when taking off the dress I wore that day, I noticed that the boning in the front was bent inward. In the difficult search to find a supportive strapless bra for someone my size, I was hopeful trying this on and wearing it briefly, but it is not an acceptable solution for me. This bra fits fantastically. I am a 32E but being that it can be difficult to find bras that size I decided to get this one in my cousin size 34DDD. The cups are a tad bit big but it is so minimal that it doesnt make a difference. It gives really good support. I decided to jump around and dance with it for a bit and everything stayed in place. The belly control is FANTASTIC! NO NEED FOR BELLY CONTROL SHAPEWEAR!!! I'm 5'2 and the length of it works perfectly. The lace is just sexy and beautiful. I bought this to wear with my wedding dress but something tells me I will be using this bra a great deal more than that! Gretchen from Allentown, PA

This was a very nice bra and created a nice line and lift due to the way the cups are constructed. It was nice and light. However, the mid-section didn't fit smoothly, it was just slightly too large for me, so it wrinkled. Kathy

This bra fits and is decently constructed, but is not very well suited to a low cut dress. The middle of the front comes up fairly high and doesn't really allow for any cleavage. I was able to just get by with the dress I bought it for by pinning the bra to the dress itself so I could be comfortable knowing the dress covered it. The support is not fantastic for someone my size, but it's okay under a dress with some structure to it. The size 40 was a snug fit and my waist is 34 inches, so I'm very glad I went up a band size and down a cup size on this one. It would have been too uncomfortable if I'd ordered my usual size.
