After ordering and rejecting four strapless bras, this is the one I settled for. It kind of fits and keeps my breasts contained. However, it is ugly, the side boning has deformed and digs into me ruthlessly, and it squeaks with every move. Loudly. Super loudly. I was advised to go up a band size and down two cup sizes. I went along with this insane sizing. I hate every molecule of this bra.

Elila Response:  Thank you for your feedback. The back of a bra has 80% of the support and the Elila sizing is based off on getting your band measurement by wrapping a tape measure under your armpits and around your chest just above your bust. If you get an odd number round up. For the cup wrap the tape measure around your back so it comes around the fullest part of your bust, be sure the tape measure is at the same height both at the front and the back Subtract that number to get your cup size in inches and convert. 1 =A, 2= B etc.. Elila cup sizing is the alphabet so no double letters needed.  Hope this helps! Laurie from Greenfield CA USA

This is a great bra for heavy, full breasted women. I had almost given up looking for a strapless bra that supported me well; I'm so happy I ordered this bra. the support is great, the shaping is decent, the coverage is good. This bra really should have the gripper strips and then it would be perfect! Leila, add the gripper strips, for this price, we deserve it. Blackbutterfly from Pittsburgh/Pa

Strapless in my size?! I went looking for a miracle as I can barely find bras in my size let alone good ones. This is supportive and has side bones but so far has been comfortable and wasn't digging in. The cup covers but I still had a little cleavage for low cut tops. It is pricey but I do recommend investing in this one! Amber from Phoenix az

I really liked this bra but, it was too big and I had to send it back for a little smaller size. It was comfortable, it felt secure. It didn't feel like that it would fall down. I liked the construction and the material. I feel that it does run big in the cup. I ordered the same bra in a different cup and it fits well. It was a good purchase. Dee from Las Vegas

After having my second child, none of my bras fit correctly anymore. I was wearing 44G, so I measured myself and plugged the numbers into the sizer on this site. I'm actually a 46I! This bra was rated best for my new size so I made the purchase. Boy, am I glad I did! The girls fit fully in the cups and it separates them nicely! The only complaint I have is that the horizontal seam on the cup shows thru t-shirts and other tops. Otherwise it's great! Val from Buffalo,NY USA

Finally a strapless bra that actually contains my breasts instead of them just sitting on it like a shelf! I haven't worn a strapless bra since high school 20+ years ago and was not looking forward to finding one for a strapless bridesmaid dress but was thrilled with the choices here! I read all the reviews for every bra offered in my size and am very pleased with this purchase. 4 stars instead of 5 only because I do wish the back was a bit wider so my back fat didn't squish up quite as much. Otherwise, a great strapless bra that seems like will stay in place, offer some support, and not end up around my waist! Cara from Colorado

The reviews on this bra sounded great, and I ordered this in my size for my upcoming wedding. I got the size I wear in all other bras and this thing is huge. The cups are twice the size as the cups on my normal bras. I guess I'm going to try going down a cup size and see if it will work. I really want a strapless bra that isn't a bustier but it's hard to find it in my size. Lauren from Buffalo, NY, USA

I wear this bra on a daily basis. It has the best support for extremely heavy breasts. However, I find the straps useless. I have them moved on the front to the peak and sewn down. I find the loops for the straps rip after first use. It would be useful if it came with more comfortable permanent straps for those of us that need this level of support. No, it isn't pretty, but very good support. Also, the sides could be lower for better comfort. Jennifer from Houston, TX

I really wanted to like this bra. The cups are fine--not great lift, but they do keep me in place and the shaping is decent, but the side boning digs into my ribs, and I'm in agonizing pain after wearing for a short time. Not to mention that while the cups shape me okay, they point me downward. Good shape, bad direction. The real problem is the boning on the side. It has literally left me bruised and once it made me bleed. Naomi from Mountain View, CA

It is a good bra. I just needed a bigger size. I bought it for a wedding but it was too late to exchange it so I made it work. If your breast need a lot of support this should do the trick for you. Just make sure you get the right cup size. Only complaint is the lining on the inside tore the first and only time I wore it and I cant return it!!

We are happy to hear you were able to use the bra at your advantage. We would suggest when making future purchases to use our Universal Cup Size feature. This will help you find the most accurate size within different styles. We are sorry to hear that the lining was an issue. This is being investigated and addressed. APRIL from HOUSTON/TX/USA

I was very hopeful that this bra would fit well since I am big busted. I am normally a 34 HH. Since that size was not an option I tried the 34 I. The cup size was too small. It cut into the top of my breast. I feel the sizing was off. The bra was high quality though and if it would have fit, it would have been worth the money.

According to our measurement chart for Elila a HH would equal an L cup but unfortunately our strapless bra only goes to an I cup. You might want to try going up to a 38I and then have the back taken in by a tailor. Sarah from Mineral, VA

This bra is the first one I found in the strapless style that offers good support. It is very comfortable however I think it should also come with clear straps as well as the color ordered. I would also like it in many colors it would be great to have that option. All in all I am pleased with this purchase I bought three and will order more cause this size is hard to find. I like the quality of the bra and am especially impressed that it can hold all of this up, but I'm a little confused about the way it fits. I have been fitted several times for bras and wear a 46I. When I tried on the bra it poked out in the middle...I've never had a strapless bra because I could never find one big enough, but isn't it supposed to rest flat agains the breast bone???? When I put it on, it doesn't fit the way it does in the picture, but I'm not sure what to do next in terms of trying another size. Confused from Kansas

The cups were way too big for me so I had to return it, but even if it was the correct size the bra felt cheap. I bought a strapless bra from another store for $45 and it was much sturdier and held me up. I will not be exchanging just returning, as I was not happy!

VERY GLAD I DID!!! I actually wore this for a whole day...and it held up! A little poking from the boning under the arms but nothing too uncomfortable. Excellent buy! Sophisticat from New Jersey

Separated my breasts too far apart and made them look flattened.

Elila Response: Elila has not heard this before and they just fit tested this size and the high points and uplift were to spec. Many molded bras today are made in such a way that the bust is too round and close together so when the customer tries a different type of engineering it often appears to be incorrect even though it is not.
