My seamstress recommended this bra because it wouldn't show any lines under my Mother-of-the Bride dress while also giving me the support I needed. And she was right! It is very comfortable. I highly recommend HerRoom. Customer Service was excellent on the phone and online. Elaina from Southampton, NJ

I found this item to be way too small. 44DD is my typical bra size and this one wouldn't close by a long shot. I'd guess it was about 4 inches away from closing. I'd recommend sizing up if possible!

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. We suggest checking out our Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Amanda from Detroit

I returned this item; although I am sure it would have held me in place all day, my chest was hiked up way too high to look natural. I guess that's better than too low! Lori from Hopkinton MA

I hate shoulder straps on any of my bras. So, I only wear this Dominique Longline model exclusively. No wearing complaints and washes beautifully in a zip-mesh laundry bag on the gentle cycle. Caution! The boning does set off the alarm when going thru any TSA check point! No big deal, as the women TSAs understand and the male TSAs really don't want to explore you. TIP: If you want to easily slip into any longline bra, just hook up all the back hooks to eyes, then step into the bra and slide it up into position! I do wish the manufacturer made an A-cup for Size 40. So, I fill the cups with those chicken filets and they do the trick! The smooth textured fabric and boning never shows thru. So, I stay away from the lace longline bra. I will never, ever be tempted to wear a different bra. And I love the shape it gives me! PITAsWife@Disney from Disney World, FL

This Bustier(Longline Bra) fit my daughter quite well. The cup shape is better than the one we returned previously. She feels it will be fine under her wedding dress and is pleased with the smooth lines it creates. rebecca from south Jordan Utah

I have a hard time finding sizes that work for me because I am larger around the body and smaller cup size. I thought that this was fairly true to size and it actually fit well around and in the cup but it came up a little high under my arms and the back and sides are not as reinforced as the front, so it does not smooth as much as I would like. The ribbing is not very strong and folds in on my sides. But it is fairly comfortable due to it's flexibility. I'm still trying to decide if I think it will work under my wedding dress. This is a wonderful long-line bra with 1 exception. Nice material, sturdy and well-made, the cup size is perfect according to the sizing offered on the webpage. I love that it's long enough to rest on the top of my hip bones which helps it stay properly in place and feel comfortable. Only 1 complaint. It is too tight around my torso. I used the measurements according to the website guidelines. I wish I'd ordered an inch larger. If I close the top 3 hook & eye closures the skin of my back gets pinched up - not comfy and not attractive (and I am not fat, I am thin.). So I just leave the top 3 hooks undone. That's a fine fix. I might even try to find a bra extender that's long enough for this bra. I didn't want to pay to return it for a larger size so I'll jerry-rig it. If the torso sizing had been right I would give it 5 stars. Lisa from Atlanta GA USA

It's soft, comfortable, yet holds me in. I ordered a size up with the 38. It fits around me. The cups are generous as mentioned. I could make the B cup work but I think an A cup will be better so I'm exchanging. Thanks for all your help! Dr. George from Vernal/UT

I first ordered 36D and it was way too tight even though that is my regular size. I exchanged it for a 38d. I tried it on standing up and even though the cups were really too big, I thought it would work under the dress I bought it to wear with. Wrong! I didn't try sitting down. When I got to the dance and sat down, the bra pushed up and showed and was so high under my armpits. Pauline from Jackson,Mi.USA

The quality of this item is great. It is made very well and seems like it would last. The cups do run a little large. I usually buy a 34B and those bras fit me perfect, whereas I had some room in these cups. And there is absolutely no padding or support in this bra. Which is fine if you aren't already small-chested! Overall I do think this is a great product, just doesn't give that va-va-voom that I would have liked. :-) Trisha from Syracuse NY USA

I went up a band size and down a cup size as recommended and it fits great. I probably could have ordered the 42C and been fine (I am in between a 40-42 normally) but this is very comfortable. Looks great under the bridesmaid dress. Renee from Forest Lake, MN

I am normally a 34DD. I did not keep this bustier, but I really liked it! The cup size was a little large/generous for a DD, but the band/general size seemed true to size. The only thing that might have been an issue had I kept this is that because of the boning, the bottom edge curled a bit and would have shown under a thin dress. Elizabeth D. from Philadelphia

For the first time ever, I may actually get to wear a strapless top. This fits very well under my dress (the boning doesn't show through at all), and although the tops of the cups are kind of flimsy, I feel supported enough to venture out to a special occasion without straps. I bought this for myself in 32DD even though I am a 28/30DD and unfortunately it was to big. Gave it to my sister who absolutely loved it! She said it was more supportive and lifted than her normal bras! It also gave her a beautiful waste. The low back and sweetheart neckline makes it a lingerie essential for dresses. I had to return it for a 40D. I could not turn it around to the front side after finally getting all the hooks fastened. Trust me it was a struggle. I am hoping when I get the exchanged item it will be ok. I ordered the size I usually wear in a normal bra but I think I would suggest to anyone purchasing this to order a size up to avoid returning and or exchanging it.

Dominiquw Response: The fit on a longline bra can be somewhat different for many of the various body types. This garment is a molded cup and the bust must fit more perfectly in the cup. This is the nature of any molded bra. Denise from Philadelphia, PA

Love love love this garment!! It was perfect for the strapless dress I was wearing - no lines showing, no bra peeking over the top of the dress' sweatheart neckline, no flab getting pushed out/over any part of the long line ,VERY comfortable, and most importantly, made me look at least 10 lbs thinner! Will patronize your store often - you make great products! Thanks for suggestion to order one size up. I normally wear a 36, but the 38 was perfect. You guys rock! Many thanks! debra from mount gretna, pa

I liked how smooth this bra was and the lack of visible boning, but it would not stay in place. If I raised my arms above my head and moved at all, it would slide down and my chest would pucker out above the cups. It was also too short for my liking, falling a couple of inches above my hips. It was true to size. I initially tried a 34DD like other reviews suggested, but it was way too big.

Dominique Response: This garment is designed to be short in order that the fit is for shorter waisted bodies. You would require one of our torsolettes which is several inched longer. Sbeyer from Urbana, IL

I love the bra, but I was safe and ordered both the 36D and 38D, just from reading the other review, I thought, well....better order one of each size. Good Idea! I originally wear a 36D, but when they both arrived by husband said...you better try the 38D first...just for fun, I tried to try the 36D, no way definitely go up up one size on the band. I am medium/slender frame and the 36 would not even reach on the last hooks...fit like a dream...just out of curiosity, I tried to try the 36D. SHARON from ST. AUGUSTINE, FL

This is my favorite all around bra for strapless wear. I keep several of these bras on hand for fittings with my clients, especially for bridal. It is amazing how few women wear the correct bra for strapless and very fitted dresses. Most of the gowns I see do not have nearly enough support to wear without a bra and by putting them in this one they can realize how the dress should fit and look, then go out and buy the appropriate bra. The center front boning tends to push outward over the belly. kitty from baltimore md

We looked all over at stores and malls in our area and even further. As the mother of the bride, I certainly couldn't allow my daughter to wear an ill-fitting garment. So, I stumbled up this site. I read all the reviews. My daughter is only 5'1, so I was happy to see that petite people also liked this garment. Anyway, it came, fits perfectly and we are very happy! Beautiful bra! Very comfortable and didn't crumple when I sat down. I usually take a size 32DDD/E (Wacoal sizing) and this one was just too small in the cups. The center support stuck out a good bit from my chest. There was virtually no support without the straps either. Also you really need to be fit to wear this without a muffin top. I'm 125 lbs sedentary and this would require spanx to look right under my dress. Priss from Virginia, USA

This was my first time wearing a long line bra. It was supportive and comfortable up to a point. The wiring would poke me in the stomach when I sat down. I need to lose a few pounds and once I do I think it will be a more comfortable fit. But, it could be because I have a short torso, I'm only 5'2". I was very pleased with the lift and support that the cups provided. Artis from Atlanta

I love the simplicity of this item. The fit is great, and the smooth front make it great to wear under all sorts of items, even ones that are meant to show off what I'm wearing underneath! The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's a bit difficult to fasten alone. Lisa from USA

Bought to be worn under a special top. Did not wear it as when I tried it on, I found it too difficult to turn on me once hooked and more disappointing, the cups made my breasts look like a pair of torpedoes. I am big busted enough, I don't need to wear anything that is going to call additional attention to "the girls."

HerRoom Response: With this type of garment, it is best if someone can help you fasten it from behind. Jackie from New York, NY

I really loved the way this bra fit. The boning was comfortable and gave really good support. The only draw back for me was that the gown I was going to wear this under has a low cut v-neck halter top and the bra was not cut low enough for this particular dress. It stuck out the top in the front and on the sides. Valerie from Hermitage, PA
