I feel sad this style is discontinued because it works perfectly for me. I did go up a cup size as recommended . Ir's a fantastic tshirt balcony bra. I love that it is just lightly padded. For me the fit works perfectly. I bought this bra a few years ago and loved it but I did not buy it again until recently. i hope Curvy Kate comes up with something new as a substitute. I'll miss this one. Kathie Lou from Jackson,Wyoming, USA

Band too tight, cups too small in center of chest, but too roomy at edge of chest just below where straps attach. Had to return it.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. We suggest checking out our Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. KT from California

I loved this bra initially, it was comfortable, true to size and had a subtle and interesting print. But the underwire popped right out on one of the cups after 3 months of light wear (less than once a week). I'm shocked because my CK bras are usually very well made and last at least a year with minimal wear.

This bra was super uncomfortable. I wore it twice (and only the second time because I really like the color). The cups cut into my armpits, the band is itchy. I'm on the hunt for a bra that fits my shape and size, this one isn't it. Emily from Michigan

I wanted something for under t-shirts. Supports well, even in very active work. My only con: it's very tall under the arms, so it's not the greatest for someone petite like me. It's still a keeper, since the cups still fit! Kristen from IN

I know my size in Curvy Kate pretty well and this one is just not the right cut for me. I usually don't have a problem with their balconette bras, but this fit more like a plunge. The way my breasts are I can't wear a plunge bra so this went back. It's a very cute bra, had it been cut differently I would have kept it. Cali from Asheville, NC

Definitely order a cup size larger. The cups of the new 32GG that I just received are almost the same size as the cups of the 32G that I bought several years ago. The underwires are exactly the same size and the cup depth is only marginally larger. Leigh Anne from PA

This is a replacement so, not my first CK product. Her Room had exactly what I was looking for, in my size and the shipping was very fast. Packaging is excellent. The products themselves are top quality and fit perfectly. An excellent buy. Nancy from Frisco, TX, USA

Very pretty bra and seemed it would support well. However, I am returning it because the cup size did not fit me well. In this Curvy Kate bra, my chest was bubbling over the top of the cups and the low cut did not provide adequate coverage. Janis from Alabama

This bra is excellent! I have had it for well over a year and it has been very durable (being one of only 2 bras that I own). Very comfortable to wear, sometimes I even wear it while I work out. Great support and makes your boobs look great. I have out-grown mine and plan to buy another one with a larger cup size. Emily from Kentucky

My first issue was that the size chart for this brand said I was a different size than what ended up fitting. The first day with the correct size, it was quite uncomfortable. There's a thick seam further back on the band from where the wire ends. It kept pinching and poking me. After breaking it for a couple days, now it's great. My advice, go up a band and cup size because their chart is wrong. EAL from New York, NY, USA

It is a very pretty bra; unfortunately the low plunge did not contain me whenever I bent over. The cup size seemed smaller than the Fantasie brand I've been buying.. Nancy from Aliso Viejo, CA

LOVE this bra. I've been wearing a 32DDD from Victorias Secret and because it was too small, my breasts were actually hurting pretty bad. A day after wearing this and it completely went away. I should be in a 32E, but since the note at the bottom said to go up a cup size, I got the 32F and its perfect. It covers my entire breast (even the side boob wrinkles by my arms!!). The stitching is a little rougher than other bras I've had so if you have sensitive skin-this may not be for you. Otherwise, it's an awesome and comfortable bra and pretty cute :) Emily B from Connecticut

It is cute and sexy in a subtly way by having the animal print that is very close to the background color. It also covers and supports for larger bust sizes. It is a bra that can be used by women with smaller breasts and women with larger breasts. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Finding bras that are less expensive and fit me is quite a challenge. As a young professional I often struggle with finding suitable bras for work and play. Heroom has a wide variety, especially in my size. This bra allows for work and play. I can easily take it form the office, to happy hour with clients and feel confident about it, instead of self conscious. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I struggle with molded cups and this is not an exception. I have some gaping towards the top of the cup near the bra strap and some of my center fullness seems to be pushing out the shape of the cup into an odd shape.

Curvy Kate Response: With a molded cup, if you are shallow, you may encounter gaping at the top of the cup. You should consider sizing down in bras with a molded cup. KP from California

This bra is so pretty that the photos do not do it justice. The cups have a nice, rounded shape and the under wires are close set in the front. I loved the bra and I thought the wider band was comfortable and supportive. Stacye from East Grand Forks, MN

I somehow miss the note that said this bra runs small in the cup size and because it's discontinued I can't exchange it. HOWEVER, I fixed the issue of it being too small with a bra band extender. I usually wear a 30FF or its sister size 32F, and found that this solved the problem by making it more of a 32FF. It still doesn't fit "perfectly" but it is much more "accommodating" now, if you know what I mean. The center still doesn't touch my sternum but I feel like I can breathe regularly now. Just wanted to share my tip if this happened to anyone else! Very pretty bra! McKenna from Hayward, CA

This is a very pretty bra, but it had really full cups for a balconette. It was basically a full-coverage bra on me, which does not fit me correctly, as any sort of top movement creates gaps at the top of my breasts and looks very unnatural under clothing. There was nothing wrong with the bra itself, it was just the wrong cut for me. Lia from Garner, NC USA

While I find that most Curvy Kate bras fit a bit snugger than other brands for my universal size and that is typically okay, this one is almost too uncomfortable. The fabric used for the band is rough and I am aware of the bra at all times. The straps, while they stay put, have enough decoration on the edges that they are also a bit rough. The shape it gives is alright, but I have preferred other Curvy Kate bras more. Ginger from Oklahoma USA

I love this bra! I am 5'5'' and weigh 160. I have been in between a 32 and 34 for a few months. I am really glad I went with the 32. It is snug, but not painful. I fill the cups completely, my right breast is a little larger and puffs up out of the cup slightly, but I always wear camis under my shirts, so that hasn't been a problem. This is the perfect simple black bra that makes you feel a little special. This was my first Curvy Kate, and it will not be my last. Hannah from Chicago/IL/USA

I am short with very full breasts and need a lot of support . I initially tried my usual size, 36FF, but the cups were way too small and the center didn't come close to touching my chest. The band felt just right and quite supportive with three rows of hooks. I moved up to the 36G and whoa - it's comically huge. Still supportive, though, to the point where I'm spilling over the top, even while there are huge gaps in the sides of the cups where I don't even come close to filling them. Not sure who this bra is made for, but it definitely isn't me. Sherri from NC

I never review anything, but I had to review this bra! I love it!! And that means a lot for me. I usually walk away without buying anything, and typically in tears. It's always hit and miss when I order online and there is always atleast one this to complain about, but when I received this bra and put it on I was instantly in love! It fits so well and looks great under a t-shirt. It is comfortable and adjusts all the way to the front for my short shoulders. The only complaint I have is how high it hits under the armpit. It irritated me to begin with, but now that I am used to it, I don't notice it. I would definitely recommend this bra! Ashlee from MIDVALE

Great bra! I have been bra shopping online for a month now, a few returns. Been pretty unhappy. Came to this site, decided on this bra, worked right away! It's molded and firm which I wanted but not hard and chunky, which is nice. It's not pointy. Fits great on my rib cage. Smooth under shirts, and nice cleavage. It's sooo hard to find a nice 34 E bra that isn't flimsy and this one does the job :) I shall shop Curvy Kate and this website from now on! Lauren from Colorado

While it is beautifully made, it has a poor fit. Even with universal sizing, I felt like the cups were still too small and it did not have enough built in support. It definitely could not be an all day type of bra. Maybe I have gone up a cup size?

Curvy Kate Response: We are sorry to hear about your difficulty with fitting CK2401. Unfortunately we do not make a larger cup size than a 34H in this style, however we could recommend that you try Curvy Kate Daily Boost Balconette Bra CK1801 Dianne from NC, USA

Love this bra very low cut for all your sexy shirts or what ever? I had this one for 14 hours and my shoulders are great! Looks great, feels great! Comfortable for sure. I have two of these will buy another! I did fall out a little with a loose t-shirt on and had to adjust the girls a little. Still love this comfort of this bra!! JM from Redding CA USA

This was my first purchase in trying to find a bra that actually fits. I really, really wanted to like this bra but it just didn't fit the way I hoped. No matter where or how much I adjusted the girls I spilled over the top. What was odd was I didn't even fill the cup completely at the apex, so I'm not sure how I would need to adjust the size or if it would help. It was very comfortable despite not fitting my shape. This bra is very cute, but very uncomfortable. The band runs small, so I had to buy a bra band extender, which fixed the issue of the band digging into my skin, BUT doesn't fix the bigger issue: the underwire digs into the side of my torso (bellow my underarm), and my boobs fall out of the cups and totally spill over every time I bend down.

Curvy Kate Response: Hi Dina, We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with CK2401 Smoothie Bra. It does sound like you are in the wrong size, and if you are in a 34H + bra extender, it sounds definitely like you should be in a 36H. As this style does not extend to this size, we would recommend you try Daily Boost Balconette Bra CK1801, this is offered in a 36H and is a great T-shirt bra too! Dina from CA
