It was advertised to fit to 36D. It would not fit a child.

I bought the first one at a store in Martha's Vineyard while on a New England trip and loved it. So, I ordered two more online when I got home. It is the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. Elaine from Mountain Home

One of the straps broke apart at the seam the first time I put it on after washing it when I tried to adjust the strap. I've owned these in the past & never had a problem. So it was total waste of money. Very disappointed.

Coobie Response: We are sorry to hear this. We will let our design team know about this issue. Thanks! Rachelle from Oregon

Love this style, bought the soft peach and the soft periwinkle and both are stunning colors! These fit me perfectly. LOVE COOBIES, all styles! I bought 3 styles, 6 total about 2 weeks ago. I just bought 4 more, 3 COOBIES and one in a stunning royal blue. Cannot wait to get my 4 new ones! Susan from Columbus OH

As I've lost weight in the recent past and am looking and feeling great, I'm updating my lingerie, both panties and bras. I have lots of genie bras, looking to update a few basic colors. Love the couple of Coobies I bought a few years ago. Chose this style in the peach which is a beautiful color and the periwinkle which I love and do not have in my wardrobe of bras. Love these! Highly recommend. Kat from Columbus OH

Lovely bra. Love the gently snug fit and NO HOOKS in the back!!! The hooks have always "dug into" my spine, since I am very slender, and this bra is absolutely painless!! Thank you for developing this style! Charlene from McKinney, TX USA

Fit of Coobies is amazing! No back hooks to dig into my spine! I am very thin and this is a huge to have a comfortable bra. The support is more than I hoped, ease of putting it on is great....I am completely satisfied and I thank you very much! Charlene from McKinney, TX USA

This bra is more supportive, with side ribs that give shaping. It seems very sturdy. The scoop is higher,so it may peek from some of my lower cut tops, but this is the one I will love to wear to work. I'm so happy to have found Herroom, where small breasted girls have so many great bras to choose from! patricia from colorado usa

I am about five weeks post bi-lateral mastectomy and am part way into reconstruction. Pre-op I wore a 36 or 38D. I needed a bra that I can wear both during this process and potentially after reconstruction is complete. I found I prefer these bras without the padding, as the pads sit in the wrong area of my chest and looked unnatural. This bra is extremely comfortable, easy to sleep in, and provides coverage. I love that it stretches and I can continue to wear it as this process continues and once my reconstruction is complete. Miranda from Satellite Beach, Florida

Whoa, if I were any larger, the one size fits "most" would not fit. It is snug for me, but okay. I typically wear small and sometimes medium tops, and size 36A/B in bras. The removable inserts are lumpy and don't provide a smooth look. Lynn from Delaware

I got this bra for maternity use because my sister recommended it. I am a 32DDD and it is hard to find a bra that has a small band, but large enough cup coverage. The band fit well enough, but it barely contains my breasts and offers no support whatsoever. If you are large-chested, I would only consider this bra for sleeping. Britt from Lincoln

Love the bra. But the black bra came without the pads (inserts). Contacted customer service they said to take photos and email and they would review and maybe send me a postage paid label. As of 8-12-2014 I have heard nothing. So I returned the bra 8-12-2014 paid the postage myself and requested a black bra with the inserts. Betty Hagg from Hattiesburg, MS USA

After having open heart surgery, a typical bra was unbearable. Someone told me to try a Coobie. Since you step into them, there was no reaching around my back to hook a bra. Now, two years later, Coobie bras are all I wear. I'm average size and Coobie bras provide all the support I need. A bonus is the straps stay in place. I love the colors, too. Jan from TX

These bras have been a life saver for me. I recently had a mastectomy and the bras I got from the mastectomy boutique were horrible- they were like wearing a strait jacket and the prosthesis weighed a ton. A friend told me about Coobies and I will never wear another bra. They have slits where I can slip in the pads provided and a very lightweight prosthesis I found. Thank you a million times for inventing this bra. It's made my life SO much easier. Karen from FL

These are the best bras I have every bought or worn. I will never buy any other bras again. I like the fact that there is no under-wire & no hooks in the back. The straps are skinny so they don't look bad with sundresses of the same color. I have bought almost every color & I am happy w/ all of them. They have enough support to wear everyday & they are comfortable to sleep in if you have to. Melissa from MI

Not too shabby for a wire-free leisure bra. For reference, I am a 32DD (US size). Like most wire-free bras, this isn't going to support as well as a "trusty" underwire nor is it going to look as great under form fitting clothes, but this is perfect for wearing around the house and/or to sleep in. It's very comfortable and gives a gentle light-med support. Surprisingly, it's not giving me the uniboob. I am unsure on how I like or dislike the removable inserts though...they do help eliminate the "beaming headlights" at least. Sibemom

I bought a bunch of the Full Size ones when I was pregnant and I loved them (38D). Since I am smaller now (36C) I bought 5 of the One Size ones. They are too tight on me (5'8" and 135 lbs). I am exchanging them for the Full Size ones today. I do love these bras however but if you are a 36C, buy the Full Size ones for sure. Corie from Illinois

When I got this I was very excited. Tried it on. Fit great. Took off the tags and threw everything away. But then I put a shirt over it. The right cup insert was super bumpy and the strap was very itchy.

One size does NOT fit all. This bra is about as supportive as it looks, which is not very, since the fabric is quite stretchy (more stretch=less support) and the straps so thin and stretchy. I have mom boobs that need discipline, and normally wear a 34D, and was hoping this would be a good sleep/lounge bra. It is a poor enough fit that I move around inside it and my sensitive skin starts to get irritated from the rubbing against fabric.

Coobie Response: These ultra comfortable bras typically fit a 32A thru a 36D. They are not specifically "support" bras so if you need extra support (as you mention) you will most likely need an underwire item. Dorothy

This is a nice quality lounge bra.... for women with a D cup or lower. I currently wear a 34G, which is an odd size and nothing fits right, so I didn't expect perfection. I bought this for light support under my lingerie (I thought it would make the girls a little more appealing) and as a sleep bra. I will not be able to sleep in it, but it will work for what I wanted. I gave it 4 stars, because if you fall under the size range, I truly believe you will be happy with this bra. Carolyn from Texas

I am 5'2", weigh 130 pounds had a double mastectomy and am presently waiting for surgery for permanent implants. For anyone who understands what "tissue expanders" are, it's the reconstruction phase that fills out surgical tissue removal. Having said that, right now I'm probably the equivalent of a generous B cup which is what I was before surgery. I cannot imagine in my wildest dreams that this bra would be comfortable on anyone heavier, larger busted than I am right now. I had to take out the shapers that were in the picket of this bra. Although I love how comfortable this bra is....and love the fit and lack of scratchy, itchy labels and straps....the reality IS that I would call it a size small to medium and nothing larger. Any really large woman with big breasts would find herself in a vice grip. I gave it 5 stars because it works for me...but beware....this is not one size fits all women... love comfort from Katonah NY

Wow, I'm a 32DD and this one-size bra actually works. I was amazed that it does offer support. Light support, but enough for everyday use, as well as for yoga and other low-impact exercises. I'm sold! Nice colors, too. Kim from Lihue, Hawaii, USA

The bras ride up my back and don't provide any support. The bra stretches out. I wear the bras overs my supportive Victoria Secret bras like a tee bra. One size does not fit all. Why not make a petite size? Not happy about my purchase.

Coobie Response: We're not sure what size you are from your description above but it sounds like you have a small band size/bust. The One Size fits 32A-36D. Melissa (pend) from southington

I finally found a bra that is comfortable enough to wear all day. I have an athletic build, large rib cage and smaller breasts, and this bra does what I want it to do, without a lot of extra material. The skinny straps stay in place. I like the removable pads, although the first time I washed it the pads slipped out of the small openings. The chest band does scrunch up at times in the front, but I am very happy with this bra. I bought two and will order more. Lora from Oregon/USA

I'm impressed! I wear a 32DD, and this bra gives support that's perfectly adequate for a typical day, even for some yoga or a walk. It has adjustable straps, which is great, because I'm short, and looks enough like a tank that I'm willing to wear it as a layer. Kudos, Coobie! Kim from Hawaii, USA

I wear a 36D, so the one size was stretched to the maximum suggested. I think they are almost too small. I would suggest getting the next size for plus. They will do, but are almost too small. Also wish they weren't quite so scoopy. I didn't really want my clevage showing so much. They didn't include any washing instructions with the packaging, on the websit or on the bras themselves. Need to add that.

Coobie Response: The 36D is at the top of the size range for the regular size so if you like a bit more relaxed fit then the Full Size is a good alternative. Washing instructions are posted on Fabric & Care tab. Sandy from Phoenix, AZ

I have spent the better part of my life on a quest to find the perfect bra. At last I have found it. Hooray!! At friend of mine bought one of these bras at a boutique........I tried it on and was immediately sold. I have purchased 4 of these wonderful bras and feel like I should buy more as I am afraid that someday they will no longer be available and I want enough of them to last the rest of my life. I bought this bra thinking that there would at least be some support (but not significant) from elasticity in the fabric. There was none, just lovely soft hanging fabric with very generous strap length.

Coobie Response: Thank you for your purchase. While many customers find that there is more then enough support you may want to try an underwire item for your particular body type. Mary from Bandon

Back in Feb. I was reading a blogpost about the benefits of being "bra-free." Being the hippie that I am, I jumped on board right away and took off my bra. I was on a spree for many years of going underwire free... so it was just one more step in the right direction. I wear camis with built-in bra shelves.. and am a 36-B sooo I'm fairly covered with my layering attire. On the post, the woman RAVED about the Coobie as the perfect bra-free solution if you wanted SOME support and a nip-perk prevention. When I was shopping around for some lingerie for my recent wedding, I came across the Coobie and thought to give it a try. I am SOLD!!!! IT is the GREATEST MOST COMFORTABLE bra around town. annnnnd totally is kosher in my hippie-bra-free mind. haha!! Mrs. D from St. Louis

I bought these for my very active daughters who have been living in cami's and sports bras for years. They were skeptical that Mom would buy them something one size that would be comfortable and fit well and be flattering to very petite young ladies. Well they are eating their words, and wearing their bras, and wanting MORE. Great colors, Mom's - this is a great gift for your daughters. Linda from Laurel MD

On a recent vacation, my goal was bralessness. Being a 34D, this was a bit of a challenge, but with a combination of swim tops, sports bras, and soft "bras" like these, I succeeded :) These are GREAT! Supportive, yet incredibly comfortable. Well made, too, with terrific details - like the straps you can wear multiple ways. I took the pads out, but I'm sure other people will like the coverage. MC from Los Angeles, CA, USA

I love this bra! I got it in every color! 1. because I can't stand the hooks on all bras for a whole day. 2. because I am small busted and the bra rounds you out perfectly with light natural looking padding. 3. I can wear them like a halter top under tank tops with wide armholes. 4. Easy to get on and off and totally adjustable for comfort. Just be aware that is IS scoopneck, so not good with anything too low cut or v neck. Diane from New York

I have been trying to find a comfortable bra for years. I wear a 36A and you can never, I repeat never find a comfortable bra. I was just searching the web one day and came across this site. I immediatley saw the Coobie Bra. I ordered 4 of them to start. They arrived today. Wrapped so pretty in pink tissue paper. I took one out of the package and tried it on. I immediatley feel in love with it and the feel. It is just wonderful. I was always tugging my bra down because of being small had nothing to hold it in place. I am so happy with my purchase I will be buying more of these later today. Also, you are not paying $ 40.00 or $50.00 dollars. It is a very reasonalbe price. You have my vote on this wonderful bra. I actually purchased this for my daughter. We have struggled to find a bra suitable for an 11 year old, meaning something other than a thickly padded bra or in her words an "old lady" bra. This bra is perfect! Very comfortable and a cute style, not like an sports bra. I think I will order some for myself even. Bra shopping is a big event for young girls and we were getting very discouraged from the selection in stores. This made "bra shopping" fun, she checked the mail every day. We will be ordering more! Purchased this bra as a gift for my Mother. Following 2 strokes she has problems with hooks so I decided that these may work better for her. I didn't read the description well...this bra is padded and Mom didn't like it. The pads are not stationary and presented a problem for her. It is a pretty bra though.

Coobie Response: Hello - We're happy that you find the bras pretty! We find that the removable pads generally make everyone happy. If a wearer does not like them they can simply be removed or any other pad or form can be inserted. Melody from Texas

I regularly wear a 30FF bra. The Coobie bra holds fairly well and gives the chest an appearance somewhere between the sports bra look, and the regular bra look. It does not give any kind of protection against shock/impact in the way that a sports bra functions, but if you're just walking around and doing casual activities, the bra does well. The straps are actually detachable, so you can make the straps cross back or halter, which is very nice. The fabric is very comfortable and breathable. I was concerned because the bra does not have cups that keeps each breast separate so you don't get sweaty cleavage after a long day, but that little pinch in the middle of the front fabric keeps the breasts separate enough for comfort. I tested 3 of these bras over the course of 3 days. I work in a hot kitchen and stand on my feet for about 12 hours. The bra did well. The straps could be a tad wider, as they dig in a bit, but not terribly so. And remember, this is after 12 hours of sweating and moving around in a busy kitchen. The part of the straps that dug in were mostly the plastic parts that adjust the length of the strap, which is part of the reason for taking one star away. The other reason would be for the shifting pads. After 12 hours, the pads had rotated or shifted off to the side. Not sure at which point in time along the 12 hours they had actually shifted to a position that was unacceptable. The pads are the perfect thickness for smoothing out the nipple area without adding bulk, however if the pads float around too much, this defeats its intended purpose. I understand that the pads need to be removable, but there must be some way to create a more ideal solution. Either way, this bra is one of the best in its class. I've been waiting for something like this. Although improvements can be made, it is still worth the purchase. Would I wear this under a cocktail dress to a party? Probably not, as there are other bras that give better shape, but I would recommend this for anyone who wants something comfortable to lounge around in, or for wearing under casual clothing on a daily basis, or for long days doing low impact work... Just buy it already. ghp

This bra exceeded my expectations! I had a breast reduction 10 years ago and am still a 34DD/36D depending on what clasp I use. This bra is as comfortable as everyone says, and I found it more so after I took the pads out. I have other comfortable bras, but they smoosh the girls together and I end up with a uniboob, but not with this bra! And though I agree a wider strap would be more comfortable for those with more ample bossoms, I like that the skinnier straps just look like you are layering tanks. I certainly wouldn't call the straps uncomfortable or painful, though. If you are considering buying this bra, just do it! I will be buying many more! Dawn from Texas

This bra is pretty much what I epxected, it is very comfortable although not supportive. I bought it to wear under TShirts, really just so I don't have any show through going on.It does the trick. I only wish the padding was sewn in becuase in the wash it moves around. I have found it's best to take the pads out and handwash them. This is too big for me at 32b size 0. I thought I would be fine reading how most people thought it was too small, but for me this is too loose! The banding rides up until it ends up cutting my boobs in half. It's not tight enough to provide any kind of support from the bottom and parts of the bra bunch up and look bad under shirts. I wish there was a petite option. I bought a few in excitement but I don't feel right returning intimate items. I will try to stitch up the sides or put elastic in the bottom...

Coobies Response: Thanks for trying our product. It is highly unusual that it would not fit you being a 32B as they do fit most 32B's. We'll take a look at making a petite size as well. M from Los Angeles, CA

The Coobie bra was recommended by a (very buxom) friend as a comfortable bra because it has no underwires yet gives support. I got excited--I'm a 36D--and decided to try it. I was disappointed, by the straps, which are so thin that they cut into my shoulders. I had to return the bra. The straps need to be wider.

Coobie Response: Thank you for the feedback Katherine, you may want to try our Full size which has wider straps and will fit you as well. Katherine from Brooklyn, NY

The bra is very nice; however, as a 42C, even the plus is way too snug. Alls well that ends well in this case, my mother loves it and it fits perfectly (she's around a 38B).

Coobies Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra was not a good match for you, but we're soo glad it works perfectly for your Mom! Virginia from Alexandria, VA

These are very comfortable bras and because of my breast size (DDD) I need the added support even at night so I sleep in one. This is, as has been stated repeatedly, NOT a support bra. It's a comfort bra, which means that it has some support but not like standard bras. My only complaint is that the straps are a little too narrow for a plus size bra and they occasionally twist or flip over. If Coobie ever re-engineers this bra, I hope they'll address this issue by widening the straps. Maria from Melbourne, FL

Nice fabric. seemed to be well made. One size fits all was way off. Im a size 12 and I couldnt get the bra over my head. Way too small.

Coobies Response: Please select the "plus size" size - which should work well for you. It fits sizes up to 42DD. Also, step into this bra and pull up rather than trying to pull it on over your head. Faye from Mableton GA

I had been looking for a bra that I could use my "Dimmers" with - silicone spheres to prevent "headlight" show-through. These come with a pad, but I wasn't looking for extra bulk. I took the pad out and put my dimmers in and I'm good to go. There are bras made with the silicone sphere built in but they are too padded. This is just the ticket. I'd give them a five if they came in sizes, the 34DD girls feel a little smashed by the end of the day. Annie from California, USA

I was completely satisfied with my recent purchase of "sports bras". I call it my "Nantucket bra" because when I was on vacation in Nantucket, my daughter-in-law encouraged me to buy this bra which I did and have been searching for replacements ever since. Finally I found "HerRoom" by placing the product # of the bra on the web site and there you were. Thank you for a wonderfully, comfortable bra. Marie from Huntington, NY

This bra is SO comfortable that I sleep in it. I've been looking for something like this to wear under pajama tops during the winter so I would have a little bit of support for The Twins while I sleep. My only criticism is that the shoulder straps tend to flip over. I think if they were a little wider and had a bit of padding this could probably be remedied. I thought these bras would finally be the bra I was looking for. I decided to keep them...my size is 42A and the straps are just too tight and not really that soft, sort of stiff and scratchy. I took the padding out immediately and it will work for a weekend or under tank tops bra but not the best. I was glad to get it off after fitting...but I think it might stretch out so I will keep. but still can't seem to find a bra that fits well and is comfortable....I will say I have shopped at 4 bra websites and Her Room is the best yet for shipping time (Lightening Fast!) and cost. Thank you for that!

This bralette did not fit correctly. The pads that are sewed in cannot be taken out and they were stretched beyond capacity to the point that it ruined the bralette. This product is probably best for very small busted women.

Absolutely the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. Great for my work day, evening wear and my toughest workouts at the fitness center. I did purchase the plus size and it's perfect. Don't know how the regular would have fit. I'm not big busted, but tried one on before I bought and loved the comfort of the plus size. Changes I would like:

1) more give or looser fit in the bottom band. I don't buy for cup size. I don't like that tight binding feeling.

2) modesty inserts are too hard or stiff - should be thinner and softer.

Did not like this item. It had no support. There was a piece of cloth for dimmer coverage that was totally visible and would be under clothing. This was literally like not wearing a bra at all.

Absolutely love this bra. I'm 5'6" 140 lb. and wear a 38D. Tried the one size because I wanted the colored ones but there just to small so I had to go with the plus size. What I like most about the bra is how comfortable it is and the padding is just right to prevent any show thru. The one thing I would change is to make the straps permanent instead of adjustable. I understand that would stop you from being able to cross it in the back. It tends to dig in a little were the metal is, but on the other hand I have very sensitive skin. I would not hesitate to buy this bra. In fact I just bought 2 more. I may just permanently sew the straps on myself if it really becomes annoying. Jesse from Idaho

This bra is AWESOME!! I have a broad chest (42) but small cup size (A). This is the most comfortable bra I have ever owned in my entire life. I wasn't sure after reading reviews if these were the bras for me. But let me say I love them and so glad I took the chance. I took out the pads which was a mistake because with them it eliminates the uniboob look. They are extremely comfortable and hardly know I have them on. I do aerobics and they support well. I am a 36C if that helps. If you are concerned just order 1 as I did. I soon ordered 2 more. Great bra! Also, I love not having hooks in the back. I have not worn a bra since 1978 except on rare occasions. Usually it's a cami under shirts that won't show I'm braless--thus restricting my "fashion" choices. I have extremely sensitive skin and hate anything that scratches or binds. I absolutely love this bra! Finally a comfortable bra with enough padding to not have 'show thru.' It also is designed so that it minimizes any back fat. I'm a 38C. I ordered both the one size and the plus size but found out I need the plus size. Only issue I have is there are only the basic colors in the plus size. PLEASE bring more colors! Kay from Idaho

Bra fits tight under arms and I believe it is because it comes up too high to wear as a bra.

HerRoom Response: You comment that you are petite in height. The wide sides could be too large for you if you are really short waisted.

Coobie Response: You should try style Coobie 9042, which is cut slightly different. There is a slight chance that you may have a defective one that was sewn incorrectly. This bra fits "almost every body" but not 100% of the population. Jo-Anne from Hanover, MA

Love, love, Love these bras! I own about 12 of them in every color! They are so comfortable. They are great under low cut things. Because they are full coverage its ok if a little shows. Replaces the need for a camisole! Mom of 3 from Manhasset, NY

The most comfortable bra I've ever owned. Perfect for hot summer days, and also can be used as a modesty item for too low V-necks when needed. I have one in every color. Elizabeth from Tucson

This is the most comfortable bra in the world. It feels like nothings there but has enough padding and lift to be able to wear under tight t-shirts. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Straps are a little short for me. (Common issue for me.) I also didn't like the pads. They seemed a little stiff and showed through the bra. I really would like to have a comfortable sleeping bra, so will continue my search. NuNu

I am a double mastectomy cancer survivor who opted to not have reconstruction surgery. These bras are very comfortable when I use them with "Softees" fiberfill breast forms. I found prosthetic bras heavy, hot & uncomfortable. Diane from Johnston, IA

Was looking for a comfy weekend/summer bra. The Ahh bra had too many bad reviews, but this looked great. For 18.00 you get a one size fits all bra (I'm a 38 C) It has good support, comfortable and removable foam pads for added coverage. I bought one in black. Will buy more. Try under sundresses that are low cut or have arm holes that are too big. Now this is an ahh bra. Samantha from Albuquerque, NM

The MOST comfortable bra I have worn in years. It has replaced ill-fitting sports bras. Almost feels like you are wearing nothing. Gives adequate support for a full-busted woman. Very happy customer & will continue to order. Marty from Charlotte, NC/USA

The bra is very comfortable. I can move around without feeling like the bra has control over me. I like the fact that I can wear a tank top, without showing though. Joyce from Cincinnati, Ohio

Great for sleeping in, around the house, easy on and off comfort. Doesn't give you much of a shape under clothes but comfy and fairly supportive if you aren't doing anything that active. Vay from Brooklyn, NY

The bra is comfortable, easy to get on, but not so easy to get off. Because of how it is made, it does not accentuate the bustline, so if you want a curvy look (unless you are big busted), you won't get it. After wearing it a few days, it felt like it stretched out a little, not as fitting as when I put it on the first time. It's OK for casual wearing around the house, but would not wear it if dressing up. Antoinette from Manchester, NH USA
