This is the best slip ever. I wear a lot of vintage dresses that need a slip and this does not show up underneath. I wear at 34G(DDDD), size 29 waist and the M/L is perfect. I balked at the price but in the end, it was so worth it. Bessie from Houston

How far up the side seams do the weights go? Can this be trimmed if it's too long?

We do not suggest you hem, or alter any of their products as the material needs the correct blade and to but cut along the correct grain to avoid rolling. This slip is to clothing what primer is to foundation: it makes everything you wear over it look smoother and wear better. Unlike a traditional nylon slip, the fabric is comfortable, dry and supple, and it doesn't bunch or twist thanks to small weights sewn into the seams toward the hem. It vanishes under clothing. If you are wearing tights under your dress this slip will prevent a buildup of static and keep the dress from sticking to your tights. If you're not wearing tights it will give you a layer of modesty and help your dress hang better. I have it in black and in nude and wear it anytime I'm in an unlined dress or skirt. It's not so easy to find slips these days, but I'm a big fan of them to prevent dresses clinging to tights, and to add another layer of warmth in the winter. This one is wonderful - I gulped at the price, but I don't think I will ever regret spending the money. Susan from Rhode Island

The slip is great. It really smooths out the lines for dresses of certain materials. I love the feel and the look. No extras just very comfortable and does the job. I am not a fat person but bra, slip and panty lines in certain dresses can look terrible. This bra really helps. Only negative is that it's a bit long for my dresses. The quality of the slip is nice, but I'm a size 2 and was looking for something more fitted. This was a little too large, even in the S/M and would look bunchy under a fitted dress. I exchanged this for another slip, which is perfect. Overall, I would recommend this, but maybe not for women who are a size 0-2 and looking for something sleek. VMO from Washington, DC

Due to chronic neck and shoulder pain, a bra is simply out of the question for me. I make most of my dresses and these slips are perfect. They provide enough coverage that I don't have to wear a bra. I also have this slip in nude and the Only Hearts long slip, which I did need to hem. Although these slips are expensive, they are well worth it to me. I would highly recommend these slips for women who don't, or can't wear bras. Sue from
