LOVE this bra! It does the job perfectly while still being pretty and, especially, seamless. A bonus is that, even though I am an F cup, the band is only two hooks. Kinda miss the metal tag that was on my older Chantelles.

Love the look, fit, coverage and quality. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because to cups have a very strong odor almost like formaldehyde. I hand washed and still smell the odor. I’m hoping it goes away.

This bra was recommended by a sales clerk after I told her that I was looking for a bra that had a little padding and "definition" without being outrageously padded, but I also wanted to be able to fold the bra to pack it and others like it in a suitcase. The bra worked well on a recent trip. It's comfortable, and I appreciate the adjustable straps; I have a short torso, and many bras have straps that can't be adjusted enough. The bra looks nice under T-shirts and other knit tops without making me look "exaggerated." I wish the straps were a bit wider, but that's a minor complaint. Originally ordered this in a 32F (which is the size I've been wearing in this exact bra for years). It felt too small (in the wire) and seemed to be cut lower than my others. Pretty for a tshirt bra... but ouch! I ordered two Chantelle Rive Gauche 3 Part Cup Lace bras in the same size and they fit perfectly. But on this one, the band was so tight and itchy I got red marks under the underwire and band from it digging in my rib cage. The molded cups are stiff with quite a bit of padding, and oddly shaped with nipples facing away from center. More conical than round. Good support on bottom and sides. I'm pregnant and wanted a solidly supportive bra for my new assets and I wanted to love this bra, the support was so good, but I couldn't get over the pointy torpedo shape of the cups (not as rounded as pictured). Also, the metal hardware on the back of the straps cut into my shoulder blades and the underwires dug into my ribs. The cups were perfectly set for a petite lady with a large chest, a nice narrow center panel and wires that don't poke me in the armpit, but cut a little high in front of the arms so that they rubbed when I moved my arms forward. The bra is very well made and I like the full range of adjustment for the straps and they're closely set enough not to fall off my shoulders. Nice bra, but just not for me. I liked the more natural shaping of the Chantelle Sexy Full Coverage T-shirt bra, but the sides of those cups come up even higher in front of the arms. The search goes on. Be aware of universal sizing, especially if you already know your size. I wanted a 32E. I thought I would get a 32E and did not pay any attention to the words "Universal Sizing" or the small D2. Why would I? When purchasing clothes, you usually get the size you want. I was sent a 32DD bra- not my size and I spill over the top.

Chantelle Response: In US and European sizing an E cup is a DD. If you are use to wearing a UK brand like Fantasy, Freya or Panche an E cup from them is equal to a 3D or F (DDD/F). US sizing runs A, B, C, D, DD/E, 3D/F , 4D/G. This bra is very well made but unfortunately did not fit me quite right. I love my Chantelle Rive Gauche 3 part cup bra which fits me perfectly and was hoping the t-shirt bra would fit the same. Just goes to show that a good fit will vary from style to style even in the same brand and line for that matter.

This bra has many pluses: straps that are centered over the cup and don't fall off the shoulder, a very stable band with plenty of hooks , and its pretty. The bad part is that the cups feel quite thick, and they go up high under the arms which bothers me. The 36 band feels tight, but I am having the replacement bra come in a 38F , one cup smaller and the band a little bigger.

This bra did not fit very well. I thought that I finally figured out what size to get, sadly I was wrong. I went down a band size and up a cup size...the cups are still too small and the band too big! I guess I should have tried a 34H. I'm really getting tired of ordering bras and sending them back. Having a large chest and a small rib cage, I guess I don't have much choice. Also, the cups do not give a very natural shape to them.

This bra is the best I have ever found for giving me an uplifted,younger shape. I often find a 34 band size too loose and a 32 too snug. I have full, heavy breasts. The bra is attractive and supportive. It pushes the the girls to the center but still gives the appearance of seperation. The straps are elastic. I have a short torso and a short distance for the shoulder strap and I have the strap cinched to the shortest setting. Over time, the elastic strap will stretch out and diminish the support. It would be nice if the manufactures realized people with larger heavy breasts need a solid adjustable straps for support. As another reviewer mentioned, the band size is true to size, but I measure a 30 and Chantelle and other brands like LeMystre don't offer smaller band sizes. I would purchase another bra if it was offered in white. I prefer this bra over the LeMystre 965. I love the support of a new bra! Susan from Seattle. WA

This is the only bra I've found that has straps that will not slip off my sloping shoulders! Great bra for girls with big boobs and smaller band sizes. It's pretty, supportive, and the straps don't slip. I have discovered that I don't love molded cups. I really like this bra. I own 2 of them that I had purchased from a department store. I just sent back the two I purchased at this website. I purchased one and found it to have a defect, so I sent for another to replace it and it had the same defect. One of the cups in each has a ripple in the foam. It wasn't that noticeable to look at but, it is noticeable in a silk blouse. I don't know why both were like this. If I buy another of these bras, I will buy in a store where I can make sure they are okay. It may not be the fault of Herroom - maybe they received them like that from Chantelle. Nancy from CA

I really love this bra but the band seems too large. I have to hook the band on the last hook and I'm worried that with continued wear, the band will stretch and I will not have another hook to go to. Size 30DD would be perfect but unfortunately, Chantelle doesn't offer that size in this style. Despite the large band, the bra is very pretty and it's nice how the straps are centered.
