I used to love this. Wore it for hiit, zumba, yoga, muay thai, jiujitsu. But my latest order (Nov 2017) had different j-hooks. They were shallow and came off too easily. It's not fun when you're rolling in jiujitsu or when I'm stretching my shoulders in yoga class and the straps come loose cause the j-hook wasn't deep enough to keep the straps in place. So that's 3 stars instead of 5 stars. JR from Singapore

I like this bra for a couple of reasons - I have one in black and it is very comfortable and does what it is suppose to do - there is nothing worse than bouncing boobs when you are running an agility course. - It is multi-functional - I love the color - way brighter than the picture shows. I think the cups may run large. There is a little gaping at the top sides of the cups, which goes away if I fasten the extra hook to make it a T back. But I don't want to wear it like that all the time. Considering returning it for a 34G, since I haven't worn it yet. But visually, it's gorgeous! Kay from Tempe/AZ/US

Super supportive and holds everything in well. The cups are lined enough to provide support and offer sufficient nipple coverage. The only downside I see is that the point (where the tip of your boob should go) kind of points up a little, and my girls do not defy gravity that direction. So far this bra is working great for walking with the baby. Hopefully it will hold up as well once I'm cleared to hit the gym again. Sarah from VA

The band on this bra felt snug however I had concerns with the impact level of this bra. The bounce factor I would give an average rating. I'm very full in the bust & would recommend doubling up to prevent bouncing and it didn't fully separate the breast. I would say it's not ideal for someone that's really endowed but it's comfortable for light workouts.

HerRoom Response: Because of the fit issues you're having with this bra we suggest going up a cup size in a different style. Panache 5021 might be a better option for your size. Nette from South Euclid/ Ohio/ US

Not bad, but not great either. It doesn't reduce bounce enough for any real high impact activity, like running or certain training classes. It's also not very comfortable (I'd be OK with a little discomfort if the bra did it's job well.) I prefer the Shock Absorber line.

HerRoom Response: If your band is too loose or your cup is too big this may be preventing the bra from doing its high impact duties. We suggest checking out our Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra. Julie from New Jersey

Bra fits to size really well. Support is exactly what I was looking for. I engage in boot camp, running, walking, hiking....Perfect support for all. The other important thing that I was looking for was that the front underwire did not fold under and stay flat against my body. I have tried numerous bras and this one is really great. I really like the fit of this bra. It was very comfortable and looks great. However, my big pet peeve is spending 70 plus dollars on a bra where the hooks break after 6 weeks of wearing. Beautiful, but the cup sizing is way too large for me. I usually wear a D, which was too big for me so I tried the C and it is still too big! I haven't worn a B since middle school and I'm tired of paying for shipping to exchange it. I usually wear the Wacoal in 40 D and I like it fine.

HerRoom Response: Every brand fits differently, but it definitely shouldn't be that drastic. We suggest referring to Tomima’s Fit Guide to ensure for the best fit. Margi from San Diego

I have yet to find a high impact sports bra that is sufficiently tall to offer truly full coverage for me. It is tall enough that I don't worry about spilling out during forward bends and I wouldn't wear a V neck top with it in public. Lower and side support are superb without interfering with arm movement, but I still have residual upper bounce where I don't have coverage. If the front was just 1 inch taller it could have been perfect. I'd rather deal with extra sweat in between than pain on top. The band was quite tight initially on the loosest column of hooks but it does relax a bit after a few wears. I haven't yet needed to adjust to the next column of back hooks after 3 months, so that is a good sign for quality. Cup size might run slightly small but maybe it's because of the compression. I rarely use the J hook in the back as adjusting it to a comfortable position is a bit of a hassle and I can't reach the J hooks in that position while wearing it, so I have to pull it over my head. Fastening the J hook doesn't help me with the upper bounce either. I have to let out the straps to use the J hook comfortably but need to take them in for the open back orientation. I'm not sure I agree with the flexible underwire claim... it seems awfully rigid to me considering I have other brands of bras with truly flexible underwires, and I've had problems with rigid underwires causing pressure on the ribs. But I haven't had problems other than the first time trying this bra, so I'm glad I gave it a chance. It seems to do a good job of wicking sweat, but the cup has structure and a bit of thickness to it so it takes longer to dry.

HerRoom Response: We suggest trying Le Mystere's sport bra (920). This has more top cup coverage and the construction encapsulates the breast tissue without compressing. This does have a tighter fit, so from experience, I would suggest going up a band and down a cup from your normal size. Sheri from Texas

I thought this would be my new "favorite", unfortunately I could not get it on properly, it was too snug when I finally got it on. Too much of a workout getting it on. I may try again once I am 3 months post reduction surgery.

HerRoom Response: This sport bra is meant for high impact activity, so the band is intended to be extra snug for support and bounce resistance. If you are post reduction surgery, we suggest something without a wire and with added comfort like Anita Active Air Control Sports Bra (5533). This bra is supposed to be as light as air and Anita is known for making comfort bras. Mary from Pensacola, FL/USA

I am large-chested and do high-intensity workouts, so I ask quite a lot of my sports bras. I wore this bra for a workout this morning, and it did the job! The girls were held in place with very little bounce, I felt very lifted, and it gave me a nice profile under my tank top. I love that it can convert to a racerback style. Great sports bra! Wow, a comfortable sports bra that actually passes the bounce test for high impact sports, and fits us larger gals. That's like a triple oxymoron (comfortable-support-large size). I bought and tried on several brands and styles from this site, but this is the only one that fit the bill. I was willing to take anything so long as it did the job, but this one does it beautifully as well. It maintains its support throughout the workout (some don't when they get wet), and laundered very nicely. It creates a very nice and smooth appearance, doesn't hurt my shoulders, and I didn't end up with underarm bulge or back fat. Now that's an accomplishment! As noted, the band size is a bit snug, but that worked well for me since I tend to run between sizes. The cup size was exactly what I would expect. I liked the j-hook for more of a racer-back but that requires the straps are readjusted in length to get the right fit. In either position, very comfortable. Jahma from Austin, TX

I don't think Chantelle really made this a sports bra. There is no way I can wear this to do anything other than yoga, or just for every day use. I have non-sports bras that are more supportive. Also, the underwire doesn't line the whole breast. Very disappointing.

HerRoom Response: We suggest trying elomi's sports bra Energise (EL8041). This bra is sure to give you the support, bounce resistance and coverage you need. Also, don't forget to refer to Tomima’s Fit Guide to ensure you're in the right fit. Kate from Orlando

I was very excited about this bra, as it seemed to look so sturdy, AND comfortable, AND able to really hold me in/down, but the size was way off. I usually wear a 34G, and I tried this same size in this sports bra. It seemed a bit tight(er), even more so than I would want in a sports bra, but it was the cup size that was so off that I was actually surprised. Most bras when labeled as my size, are hit or miss fit-wise, and this one was a definite miss. The main problem being a lot of spilling out the sides, the cups just seemed much to small for the label. I just do not have luck ordering bras online for the most part, it did, however, seem like it would've been super comfortable had it fit properly. The quality was excellent. I would recommend if you don't normally have trouble finding the proper size/fit, and, as always, I'm very appreciative of HerRoom and their excellent customer service and wide range of sizes and styles. On to (trying) the next one!

HerRoom Response: We understand your bra fitting struggles, with bra sized sport bras for larger busts the band does run snugger than most for the added support and bounce resistance. We think if you try the 36G this will allow you more room in the band and extra coverage in the cups. Joni from Chicago

This is the best fitting bra that I have tried on, sports bras and "regular" everyday bras included. I am wider set/splayed, and so it does not bother me that the wires come up in the middle a little bit. The only warning I would give, which doesn't bother me, is that the contrast stitiching on the white bra is bright pink. It doesn't bother me though. Missy from Peoria, IL

Based on the reviews of others, I was expecting a comfortable bra made of steel! In my opinion, this bra is just okay and not worth the $72 price tag. I have bought other sports bras for less that have offered the same level of support.

Chantelle Response: Hi MLS! Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Our High-Impact Sports Bra was specifically developed for C-H cups needing the most support possible during high-impact activity, all while remaining comfortable on the body. This was achieved through a variety of measures, including the use of a flexible underwire, four hook-and-eye adjusters on the band (rather than the standard three) to allow for additional tightening of the band, and full coverage cups made of soft and breathable microfiber for optimal breast containment. There is also an adjustable j-hook on the straps of the bra to pull the straps together (racerback style) for those who want even more support. As with any bra, it will stretch over time, so it's especially important to make sure that the size (especially the band size) purchased isn't too loose to begin with, or it won't be as supportive during high impact activity. We hope this helps! MLS from El Segundo

Although it is in the size I wear, I find it almost impossible to hook it up in the back it is so tight. It is most uncomfortable, perhaps because I have never worn a sports bras before. This is definitely not for senior citizens looking for more support. if you are that age and looking for more support, I suggest a pricey regular bras and watch the video by HerRoom before you buy. It is the most instructive video I have encountered on the subject of bras.

Chantelle Response: Hi Linda! Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are sorry to hear that you're having a hard time hooking up the back of our High Impact Sports Bra. While this style is made for high-impact activity and should therefore fit snugger than most other bras, it shouldn't be that difficult for anyone to get on, or uncomfortable to wear. Have you considered trying this style in a 40F (which is the sister size to your current size, 38G)? Additionally, if you're just looking for a bra that will provide you with extra support, but not necessarily for high-impact activity, we have a few suggestions for you other than our Sports Bra: our "Rive Gauche" (style: 3281) has full-coverage, seamed cups for optimum breast structure and support, and a strong yet comfortable powermesh band that provides full support for busts up to an H cup. Further, our "C Magnifique" (style: 1891) has ultra soft, seamless cups that create a slimming effect, and a comfortable, wide band that not only provides full support for busts up to an H cup, but is also back smoothing. We hope this helps! Linda from Guilford, CT, USA

I am a distance runner and have never, ever found an athletic bra that came remotely close to fitting or that had nearly enough support for my large breasts. This bra is AWESOME! I actually look like a girl with it on, it fits PERFECTLY to my regular bra size, and it keeps me in place even in high impact activities like running. Best of all it is really comfortable, not anything like the run of the mill jogbras that I used to buy at the athletic stores that were nothing other than undersized compression bands that just smashed me and were very uncomfortable. If you are a larger breasted woman, this athletic bra should work great for you. It certainly did for me...I ordered another one! Kris from Atlanta, GA

This the best fitting, most flattering, least obtrusive sports bra I own right now. It keeps breasts in place, but the cups don't get in the way of back bend or spinal twist yoga poses. It handles sweat well and it looks very attractive under loose tops, gaping muscle shirts or other cover-ups. Bea from Mexico

Read the reviews and took a chance. GREAT BRA! Should have gone up in cup but this is the closest I've had a bra fitting at the sternum for awhile. I really didn't believe it would hold everything in, but jumping jacks and my other exercises were no problem. It seems thick, but it is really cool and lightweight. Highly recommend. I thought the band might be huge, but it is fine so far. Recommend. Jewel from Utah

The 2941 is comfortable and hold the girls in place without squishing them. I feel very supported and yet attractive. Submitted from TheUndies.com

This bra feels very supportive, firm, and secure for even the highest impact activities. It is probably slight overkill for my size (34C) and my sport of ladies doubles tennis. It is beautifully made and seems as though it will wear for a long time as I have come to expect from Chantelle. I like that the padding prevents show through. The J-hook works great for wear under racer-back tops, and the straps are long enough for me to be able to use the J-hook, which has not always been the case for me with some other bras. I will not buy sports bras that slip on overhead, so I like that this one fastens in back like a normal bra. Diane from Franktown, CO

It fits great, but its really padded so it makes me look even bigger than I normally do. Aileen from IL/USA
