It’s the wrong size. I have worn this size for years. Got this and put it on for Thanksgiving. And it killed me! I was in a rush so not to be late. So only could get one hook hooked. Got home, tore it off, one side is shorter in length.
HerRoom Response: We are sorry to read our your experience. IT is noted that looking at your order history with us, Your ordered a smaller size in both the band and cup.

This is my favorite bra. I like the support it provides and still has a good comfort level. It washes nicely although I do wash in lingerie bag and hang dry. I do wish the same bra could be made as a tshirt bra as well so the seaming would disappear.

The embroidery on the cup is heavier than I expected; that's ok during winter months, don't know how I'll feel with lighter summer clothes. I've recently lost weight and am very pleased to have guessed right on the cup size.

It has the cone bra look. Too pointy. It’s too bad. I loved it but the cups were not round and it made me look bigger than I am. Not comfortable wearing it.

This is the first Chantelle bra I've ordered. I expected it to be of higher quality. The underwire is bulky and dosen't feel comfortable. The underarm comes up high and runs my arm. Overall the bra holds me up.The bra is pretty but I will not order any more of this brand.

This is the only bra I wear. I like the fit and support. It is a pricey bra, but worth the money. It rarely is on sale, so always happy when there is a promotion! My only wish is that the manufacturer would be able to to make a similar bra without the stitching across the cup. Then I could think about a few different clothing options.

I have worn this bra for years. The support is excellent and I like that the bra gives a good look in clothes. One problem I have had consistently is the underwire. At some point a wire will work it’s way out and I have to hand stitch it back in place. I alternate with the Amazone without wires.

This is a very nice bra, but the band seems way too small for the size. I really like the shape of the cups and the side support is excellent, but the the cup cuts into me on the inner top edge of the cup (toward the sternum). I did not fill out the upper part of the cup completely, but it was close enough that it didn't show under a blouse. i tried the 36C and that was way too tight, both in the band and cup, leaving me spilling out at the sides (inner and outer).
Chantelle Response: Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad to hear that you like the support and shape you have gotten out of the Chantelle Amazone Underwire Bra 2101. It sounds like we may need to make a slight adjustment to the size to ensure your comfort. We recommend going up in the band and down in the cup and trying the 38C. Another great style to try would be the Chantelle Revele Moi Underwire Bra 1571, which will give you that same great support, containment and shape but with stretch mesh at the top of the cup to eliminate the wrinkling.

I don't typically write reviews, but this bra stood out in a way I thought deserving of one. I have large saggy breasts and this is the first bra that actually supports them perfectly and the stretch in the cup means no weird gaps. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does make my breasts a little pointy. If the cup were more rounded in shape, it would be the perfect bra for me for sure!

I love this bra. While it is supportive, it is also very attractive. When following the directions for measurements to determine my size, HerRoom said I should wear a 42DD; however I ordered the 42D which is my ordinary size and it fit to perfection. You might want to stick with your regular size in this bra. I now have several of the black and the ivory. I would not hesitate to recommend this bra to anyone. Try it. This bra fit as advertised. I had watched the video on cup sizes and it helped! It isn't as high on the sides as I expected. The strap placement is better for keeping the straps in place. Although, I kept the bra, it wasn't quite what I had been looking for. I thought this bra was a little over priced.

I sent this bra back as it suggested I size up the band size, which was fine but the cup size was too large. Overall the construction was good and the straps were placed a little closer so that there would be no shoulder slippage. I felt that the cups were also a bit pointy for me so will try another style.

Just lost weight and needed a smaller cup size. Have always had trouble finding the right bra, and what I had finally found and been wearing was not available online so I couldn't get the smaller size. I tried to come as close to it as possible. Success! Perfect fit, very comfortable, just the right look.

After the second day of wearing, the side support bone panel has worn thru the fabric and I intend to return this product. This happened on an earlier purchase from this site and I thought it a fluke since I had purchased this brand in-store prior. $84 a piece with this quality is crap.

This bras was way too big for me, and I mean coverage wise. I am petite (5'1") and have a short torso. The cups on this bra came up so high I couldn't even wear it under a normal shirt, not low cut. It was nicely made, but nor for a petite gal like me.

I've purchased this bra many times. The fit is great, however I have to reinforce the stays and underwire because they all tend to work their way through the fabric within a couple of weeks. It is true to size, and holds my girls up where they are supposed to be. I wash it by hand or put it in a lingerie bag in the wash, to make it last a long time, since it is a pricey bra.

Horizontal seam is very visible thru clothing. Bra is comfortable and had good support.
Chantelle Response:
The horizontal seam on this classic style is used to help lift and support the breast tissue. We would suggest trying Chantelle Rive Gauche 3281
3 part cup which has a flat transversal seam which offers a rounded shape with no seam show through. Other Chantelle styles that offer this flatter seam are 3371, 3651, 3991, 3946 and 3851.

I've lost a good deal of weight over the last year. I'd last bought bras around this time last year in size 34G. The bands had gotten really loose and unsupportive and painful. Measuring showed I definitely needed a smaller band, since I'd lost a full inch around my rib cage. (I've had a 33" ribcage my entire adult life, including when I was 105lbs from ADD medication, so going down an inch was rather shocking)
This is the first bra I've found since I've started needing cups larger than D where my breasts look like themselves. My husband was quite startled, in a good way. My breasts have a rather marked "droplet" shape, where there's a lot of fullness in the bottom half, and not much in the top half. If I wear a foam padded bra or a lot of the current 3 seam styles, the bra tries to force my breast into a more symmetrical looking roundness. It's very unnatural looking on my body, and I end up looking quite fat by side effect.
This bra leaves me looking like myself. I love the look... now to see how the bra holds up to regular wear and washing. It seems like the fabrics are sturdy and should wear well.
The only real minus I can see is the color selection. I strongly prefer to have my underwear in colors like red, purple and blue. My clothes tend to be pretty bright to begin with, and underwear that matches looks better. Very few bras that come in a large enough cup size have anything remotely like the color selection I'd prefer tho.
It's also a minus that this bra does not have matching panties. It looks better when your underwear matches.

This is an absolutely beautiful bra, but sadly a very poor fit for me. I have shallow breasts and did not fill out the top of the cups very well. One of my breasts is smaller and the fit for that girl was really bad. No amount of scooping would correct this so I had to return this lovely bra. I am puzzled that this bra was recommended for pendulous breasts. My degree of age related droop is not extreme and yet this did not work. I would recommend this bra for those with very full on top breasts.
Vendor Response:
We would recommend the following Chantelle styles:
If you want a 3 part seamed cup try C Chic 3582 or a Full coverage T-shirt bra like Pure 3616 or 3781 Sexy Shaping. Both of these provide a full coverage level and a side panel to help with shaping breast tissue.
Offering less coverage, you could also try Pure memory foam style 3612 with less coverage and cups made of memory foam that mold to the breast tissue with body heat.

Definitely worth the price: excellent lift, comfortable fit, and very attractive. Most importantly for my 5'2" height, the center remains relatively narrow (3") for the size (44F) & while the cups provide full coverage (more than actually necessary), they happily do not extend half way up my chest.

Very disappointed again. On the 2nd wearing, a wire came through. In the past, I have had to reinforce the fabric at the end of each stay due to the same problem. For the price of this bra, this problem is not acceptable. I am not the only buyer of this brand who has experienced the problem. Fit is perfect otherwise.

small under the arms, straps correctly positioned, though too stretchy, need to tighten throughout day, then run out of tightening room, so I'll take it to seamstress to shorten further. the is the first bra out of a whole bunch I've tried where I'll be buying a second one. works for my short torso, wide body. only complaint, tits end up wall-eyed despite the fact that this bra doesn't shove them under my armpits like most others
HerRoom Response: Because you are petite in height, the straps will pose a problem for you.
Chantelle Response:
We suggest trying some other Chantelle 3 part cups such as 3281
, 3771, 3635 and 3851 with a transversal seam which will round breast tissue. Chantelle 's 3 part cups help move breast tissue forward and center it.

This particular one has no padding and does have the underwire, but I never feel discomfort from the underwire as I had with other bras. They are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I have ordered several bras from you, all the same style and size. The last ones that I ordered I have had problems with the wire breaking through. Can you tell me why this would happen??
Chantelle Response:
When a wire breaks through the underwire channel it can be due to one of the following reasons.
• Machine washing will cause damage to the bra including having the wire break through the channel. Bras should always be hand washed.
• If the bra size is incorrect and does not fit properly, stress is being put on the underwire causing it to breakthrough the channel.
• The channel could have been stitched to tightly and the wire did not have enough room to move around and broke through the fabric channel.

After trying the bra on several times and adjusting the straps, I decided to take a chance because the reviews were good. The cups are perfect and the underwires lay on my chest as they should even when sitting. I also like the side sling support along with the side boning. I was leery of having only two hooks since I have mostly worn industrial strength bras, but this one fits well and stays in place.

Love this bra as far as real good uplift and bringing the girls in on the sides. The separation is great but rubs a bit in that area. Have seen more feminine looking bras and bought some from your company but this one does do the job needed.

It is the best for support and shape. I have been using this brand for about 4-5 years and this bra wears well. It lasts a long time and washes beautifully. It never looses it's support or shape.

I've finally found a supportive bra for my full figure that's really pretty, and has only 2 clips in the back!! The only downfall is that the underwire eventually pokes through, either under the arm, or up the center on me. It's worth the amazing support this bra offers. I no longer feel like I have to hide under bulky sweaters. Nordstrom no longer carries the Amazone, so I was so happy to find HerRoom. It's so hard to find bras in my size, especially pretty ones!

Very comfortable fit and good support. The sizing is true to size. I would have liked 3 hook closure rather that 2 but 2 seems to work. I have a little problem with the underwire poking me the under arm. I am happy with this bra and will order another.

This bra fits me perfectly and is the most comfortable I've ever worn. Nordstrom's no longer carries this style, so I'm glad to have found it at HerRoom. If I have any complaints, it is that in due time, the underwire pokes through the material under the arm and though I've tried to sew it, it does not last. The bra is expensive so I wish Chantelle would re-enforce this area so the bra would last longer.
HerRoom Response: You note that you are petite in stature. I'm afraid the end is rubbing against your body and unfortunately wearing a hole in the bra.

I love this bra style, I have several. This last one the first time I wore it the underwire popped up and out of the front. Have never had this happen before. I think this must be a rare defect. I will buy more, as I said I love this style bra.

This is the best model bra I have ever worn. It keeps me up, I have no bulges on top or on the sides and it is terrifically comfortable! My only complaint is that the lines of the material can be seen through thin garments - so, you have to find another bra to wear with t-shirts.

I am completely satisfied with Chantelle 2101 Amazone Underwire Bra.
The fit is comfortable, the fabric is excellent and the fact that I can adjust the straps for personal comfort is very important. I wish they made the color white
as well, but I shall continue to purchase this bra, I hope they do not discontinue
this model and continue to use the same quality of fabric in the future/

I am very difficult to size and please with bras. I like a certain style. I went to an upscale department store, got fitted and bought 2 of these bras. I went back for more and the store discontinued this style. Therefore I went online & found HerRoom and found the bra. It is the very best bra that I have ever purchased. Love It Love It. It fits perfect band, cup style (fashionable) everything about is great.

I love this bra. It is the only one that fits me. However,
the bow at the very front of the bra always sticks out and can
be seen under my clothing. It is annoying, but (as I said
before) the Chantelle 2101 is the only bra that fits me.
Another problem is that the metal stays poke through and need to be sewn to keep them from poking through.

This is one of the most comfortable bras I have ever owned. However, I did remove the boning that goes under and around the breasts, as I do with all my bras, but I kept the boning on the sides. Then I put the bra on and actually fell asleep in it! That was a shock to me, as I typically feel like I want to take off my bras as soon as I get home. The tulle is nice and soft. I wish it came in more colors. I will also add a problem: the bra pictured on the live model appears to lay flat between the breasts; that doesn't happen on my full cupped breasts, which is one reason I remove the main boning. With my full breasts, the boning tends to poke out in the center. That may mean that I need to get a bra with a smaller band and an even larger cup size. I am still experimenting with that. Nevertheless, I still love this bra. HerRoom Response: We don't recommend taking out the wires of your bras. It sounds like your cups are too small.

This has been the best fitting, most comfortable and attractive bra I have been able to find over the years. I loved it! Unfortunately, I bought 3 from Nordstroms. Had to take two of them back within 6 months because the underwire came out. Still, again the underwire came out. I took it to a tailor to sew in place but it wouldn't stay. HerRoom Response: If your underwires are coming out, this is usually a sign that your band size is too large. When the band is too large, it moves around your body and wears down the underwire casing. Eventually a hole is made causing the wires to pop out. You should consider going down a band size and up a cup size if you like the way this bra fits your breasts.

After trying for over a year to find the "perfect bra" I am so happy to say I have. Once I put on the Legende and also the Amazone bra everything fell into place.. litterally! They are the most comfortable, supportive and lovely bras I have ever had. So many other companies vary greatly between styles which can be very frustrating to the larger figure and I think one correct measurement of your size should be it and all styles should fit that size! Maybe some of the other high end bra companies should take note. In the meantime Chantelle has my abiding loyalty!!
