Cups are wide and shallow, so they don't work for me. Band is also tighter than other brands in the same size.

I purchased this bra in my normal size and since it is a minimizer, the cups were smaller so had to repurchase in a larger cup size.

I have a full bust so Chantelle bras have been a good choice. But I have never owned a T shirt bra with a padded cup. A bit counterintuitive. Needed a bra for Tshirts so I ordered this one in my usual cup size. Could have gone up one but —and this is a big but — this bra is super comfortable. If I could give this bra 10 stars I would! I have implants and sometimes I prefer a bra that gives me a somewhat athletic look, very full without too much projection. This bra gives me the look I want without smashing me. This is the most comfortable bra I have ever had. From the very first time I tried it on, it became my favorite! I wear the other c magnifique bra and love it. I hoped this would work, but the fit was entirely different. It pushed me up both under the arm and in front(the old 4 boob!) I did not like the shape it gave me either.

Chantelle Response: It's true that the C Magnifique Contour 1897 is more minimizing than C Magnafique 1891 so its therefor less round and forward. For something closer in fit to C Magnifique 1891, try C Magnifique Sexy 1411. Wendy from Easton, CT

When I first got the bra, I thought there's something wrong with the cups. Were they too big? I now know the elongated cups were for minimizing the breasts. More importantly, the straps on the back are sewn closer to the center, so they don't slip off my shoulders! This bra took some getting used to, but I think I'm going to appreciate it more every day I wear it. Pauline from San Francisco

Because this bra is a minimizer with spacer foam, the bra intentionally reduces breast projection creating an elongated cup. I have always suffered with large, heavy breasts and been in search of a supportive, minimized bra. My daughter was a fan of the Chantelle C so I decided to give it a try. My first order was definitely the wrong size and the return was easy. The replacement fit nicely at first, but as the day wore on, I began to lose the coverage. I was looking for a replacement to my favorite discontinued style 3585. This did not work for me. The cups were almost too big for a petite person, came under my arm. Had a very north south rather than uplifted and center feeling. I really need a 30 band, but could not make due with the 32. Had great straps.. firm and wide to offer support, but the cup shape did not allow the support.

It's extremely comfortable and doesn't dig into your shoulders. It lifts you up nicely while at the same time minimizing... but it doesn't push you out to the side making you look heavy. You always look thinner in this bra so why not love it! Submitted from TheUndies.com

I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. The spacer fabric is high quality and the side material is luxurious. Everything stays in place, and I am not dying to rip it off at the end of the day. Con - this gives a major North/South/Breast shield look, which I am not used to after years of wearing only the Fantasie 4510.
