I loved this bra when it arrived, but didn't wear it for about a month since there were other bras I had ordered and were wearing. I wore it yesterday and after about 2 hours the underwire on the right side broke through the fabric and began to tear up my skin. I had to stop my errands to return home and take it off.

Carnival Response: I’m sorry to hear about your experience.  This is the first we are hearing about the wire breaking through on this bra.  This particular bra could have just been a defect. Jennifer from Monroe, NY

When I received this bra it was defective. The side support was broken in half. To make matters worse, it fit like a minimize rand I look absolutely flat chested. I wear a 42 or 44 D.

Really pretty bra but band was very small. I always wear a 42, but this was tight. Could not make it work at all unless I used an extender, which I refuse to do with a brand new bra.

Carnival Response: As you can see from our other reviews, this is one of our bestselling bras. Sometimes different brands and different styles need to be sized up or down depending on the situation. We are sorry you had this issue. Pamela from Colorado

A well made bra, attractive, comfortable and supportive. I feel it is even more important to get a good fit when the bra in question is not padded as YOU will be the padding. I found this particular bra to be constructed in such a way that it had the ability to lift the girls up where they belong and they stayed there, so a good silhouette and no peek a boo at the sides either. Happy. meg

I'm just now starting to learn how to properly measure and find a good bra (since my early teens, I've just worn simple sports bras 24/7 because I could never find the right bra in my stores). This bra isn't a 100% perfect fit, but it's much, much better than anything I've found in the past. I'm still working on finding the perfect size and style for my body, but this bra is a decent choice, and I do love the design, though the one downfall is the embroidering details show through thin shirts. Fits well and lift is very good. A little scratchy, but some fabric softener should do the trick. Only gave it four stars, because of the three hook fastening. Short torso, so if you are average it shouldn't be a problem. Janelle from Ft. Pierce, FL

Very comfortable, fits true-to-size. I have plenty of other lined t-shirt bras and was happy to find that this one was unlined, full-lace. Nice to have the variety. I usually avoid white bras, but got this one to match some undies, and I'm pleased with how pretty it is. Julie from Seattle

Pretty Bra, love the feminine lace. It's a little tight in my band size. I am on the last set of hooks and it is a bit snug. I am used to a more fuller coverage, so with the cup size as it is, it feels more like a balconette to me. Marybeth from Stroudsburg Pa

The reviews suggested ordering one cup size larger but that didn't work for me! I am difficult to fit and I don't like molded bra cups so in many ways this was mostly what I like. However, the side support stays buckle and hurt so I might have to remove them. Still looking for a really comfortable bra in 42b

Carnival Response: If the side supports are buckling it is because the cup size of the bra is too small on you. You should try this style in a 42C. HerRoom has a great feature in which you can define your unique breast and then we suggest bras for you. It is called the Know Your Breast Bra Finder. Mary Smith from Las Vegas, Nv

I ordered two of these bras in 34DD knowing the cup size runs small - I can sometimes fit a D, sometimes a DD. But this did not fit right - it was too small in the cup for me and seemed to push my breasts down from the top section of the bra. Sadly, it is not made in a 34E. The bra is gorgeous, fabric is nice, the band and straps were perfect and I loved the white and champagne colors.

Carnival Response: Thank you for your feedback. This style is a demi style bra for the full figured woman. When wearing the incorrect size you may get the feeling you described. Unfortunately as you mentioned we do not make this style in 34E. Lisa from Colorado

As warned by other reviews, the cup does run small. I thought this might work, as I measure between sizes. I do tend to spill over on the insides of the cup, however, so really can't wear this bra with tees or other revealing tops. But then, I'm thinking a larger cup would be overdoing it. The bra is relatively comfortable, and certainly lovely to look at. Joan from Silver City, New Mexico

This bra fits, is generally comfortable, and the fabric is quite beautiful. I've worn it, so am assuming I can't return it, but I am not happy with the construction. While the fabrics are wonderful, the right cup underwire is well over an inch too short at the side. It seems like they used a much smaller sized underwire and bent it out, making the right cup twist slightly after wearing only a few hours. The side stays are also about an inch short and of very soft material. This causes the bra to bunch up on the sides rather quickly. Some of the stitching is very long with several skipped stitches that allows sections of the bra to slightly pull apart after only one day of wear. I wore this bra for one day and noticed the twisting and side bunching after a couple of hours of wear. I looked over the stitching when I took it off at the end of the day to examine the underwires and side boning (or lack of boning).

Carnival Response: As far as the general quality of Carnival bras is concerned we 100% fully disagree with your statements. All of our product is made in the best factories and goes through multiple inspections from our internal QC dept as well as outside inspection companies. I’m sorry that you were not satisfied. We've had over 60 reviews on this bra and almost all were either 4 or 5 stars, particularly DD cup customers of this bra complementing the support and fit and quality. Very pretty bra however, as recommended I ordered a smaller bra size with larger cup size (42D) instead of my usual 44C. Bra was too snug and cup, although it fit, made me look flatter than I am. Reordering a 44D would have fit better but still made me look flat chested, so I am returning the bra for something else. Too bad because the lace is pretty, I like that the sides have boning for support, and it gave me a nice lift.

Carnival Response: We are surprised to hear about the 44D making you look flatter. Since a 44D cup has more depth than a 42D you would not have the same issue of the cups making you look flatter. Lovi from North Carolina

Had to return this one, too. Carnival makes some of loveliest bras I've ever seen. I am between sizes-so that's why they had to go back. I will recommend this brand to sisters and friends. The quality is fantastic and they are beautiful. Carnival-would you consider designing some with spandex cups-for those of us that are smaller?

This is certainly a very pretty and well made bra. I ordered this bra one cup size up and I'm glad I did. I normally wear a 42C and this fit - barely. The band size is spot on, but as said, the cups run small. Too pretty to cover up! Very happy with this bra. Jamie from Racine WI

I received this bra and tried it on and found it to fit perfectly. The lace is very feminine and style is very flattering. But you need to know it is a minimizer bra, which is what I wanted and knew this when I made the purchase. I love the support that the 3 hooks provide and the wider than little girl straps. It is a lovely girlie bra. Matter of fact, I just ordered 2 more. And the price of this is unbelievable for the quality of this bra. For me, this was a wonderful purchase. Bobbi from Milpitas, Ca

Okay, but not a great fit; doesn't give enough coverage for my size, shape breasts

Carnival Response: Thank you for your feedback. It seems that you do not know your correct size. I noticed that you bought style# 509 in a different size and you weren’t happy with that bra either. Also please note Tomima’s Tip where she says “The cups are running one cup size too small. Size up one cup size in this Carnival style." I think that will help. penny from berger

The overall structure of the bra is comfortable, but the top of the cup looks more substantial in the picture than it is. It feels more like a push-up bra. The wide band around the girth keeps it in place well, but the sizing is just a bit off. It is a "loose" 34. Given the sturdiness of the design and materials of the bra itself, the elastic shoulder straps are also a bit too stretchy and are set a little too close to the outside if you are very heavy. It's a good bra--just not a great one. But the price is very reasonable for the quality.

Carnival Response: This bra may have the feel of a push up since the outside edge of the cup has extra support to keep your breasts closer to center but the effect is not that of a push up. We used elastic for almost the whole length of the strap since they are adjustable to 50% of their original length. Maggie from Buffalo, WY USA

I bought 5 of these bras & am extremely happy with the look and the comfort. The bra is slightly demi-ish and I originally thought (from the picture) it would be more full coverage, but it's definitely a keeper. Chris from Harriman, NY, USA

Excellent Product. I notice you call this product "full figure bra". I am not full figured in the usual sense. I work out a lot and have wide shoulders from exercise and swimming. Unfortunately, the retail industry specializing in undergarments have yet to recognize the "wide upper body" phenomenon in physically fit women. Their loss. There is a large market out there . Good fitting bra. It's wonderful to find a bra in this size that does not have an "industrial strength" look, but a feminine look. I'm old, but still like "girlie" things. The reviews of all the items on this website are also a huge plus for this company and the customer. The only thing lacking is free returns. I'll certainly purchase more items in the future from this company. Pat from North Carolina

I purchased this bra at one of my local department stores in my correct size. When I ordered the same bra from Her Room it was at least 2 sizes too small. I think this bras are irregulars that Carnival pawns off to on line stores or discount stores to get rid of them. Be very careful when ordering this bra. I will be sending the DD back because the fit is also very uncomfortable.

HerRoom Response: We respectfully disagree with your statement. All items on our site are new and from regular production.

Carnival Response: We do not ship irregular bras to HerRoom. We don’t ship them to other retailers either unless they are marked clearly as irregular. We have many outlets to buy the few irregulars that are produced and have no problem disposing of them in a proper manner. Christina from La Quinta, CA

I am glad that I read the reviews about this bra before I bought it because the cup size does run small. I usually wear a C cup and I bought this one with a D cup. The bra is pretty with the lace, but you cannot see it as much as in the photo of the white one. The black one doesn't really show skin through it. It fits well and is comfortable. I bought this bra because it looked like the back straps were closer together than other bras, but it still falls off my shoulders. I'd love to find bras for short fat people, not all have wide shoulders and not all are tall from bra wire to armpit, all wire bras dig into my armpit when I sit down. I'm waiting for the other bra I ordered to see how that one fits, if it's not good like this one I'll send both of them back.

Carnival Response: You should try one of the soft cups, without underwire. Style 620, 627, 630, 645, 660, any of these should be good. Sandy from San Francisco, California

Very nice bra, however I had to exchange it for a larger size. Seems every bra has it's own sizing issues. The DD cup is small and is equal to probably a D in most bras. In another size it might be fine, so I will wait and see when the larger size comes in. Judith from Seal Cove, ME

After using the Herroom.com bra fitting suggestions, I bought this bra for the 3-part cup construction - the bra fits me but the lace is incredibly itchy!! I am not a fan of the underwire bra but I am really trying to get over this - the underwire is not bad but the lace fabric is driving me crazy. After hand washing the bra before wearing, the scalloped edge on the top of the right cup seems to be stretched out and is a ruffle while the left side is not as ruffled. The bra fits well, the cup size is perfect for me - while the size is a B, I am probably closer to an A so this cup might run smaller. I have been to multiple department store bra fittings and have not been able to find a bra that actually fits but this bra might be the solution EXCEPT for the itchy lace and the ruffled edge with does not work with under t-shirts, etc. Sheri from Ohio

Finding pretty bras in my size that support and fit correctly has always been a challenge. 44C is not an easy size to find in the store, and when you do, they are ugly. A couple of months ago I ordered 4 different bras from Herroom to try them out. I like to wear them for awhile before commenting, because what feels good and looks good at first may not hold up well. My favorite of the 4 is this one. So much so that I re-ordered 4 more of them! It is a tad on the sexy side as well as being quite comfortable and maintaining support. Thanks! It's a lovely bra and the fit was correct - this bra needs to be ordered one cup size smaller than usual as the notes explained. Still, at this size, the lace seems less sexy and more overwhelming since the cups are not halfsies. It's definitely a prettier, more feminine feel than many other bras but I'd go with something else that adds that touch of thrill next time. Pacific NW from Seattle, WA

I am tall and large framed and this bra fits me well. It is comfortable, feminine and well made. My only issue was a small amount of pucker but the first wash seems to have resolved that issue so maybe it was sizing in the fabric. Very good value and highly recommend. Jackie from Wilbraham Mass USA

Beautiful bras and well made. The only drawback I had was that the cup did not seem smooth, it puckered a bit. It did give very good support. It may not pucker as much after washing.

So disappointed in this bra. The actual structure and side boning felt good, very stable, but the cup shaping/size was terrible. Cups were cut very low (almost like a demi), and oddly shaped...they forced my breasts to the side in an awkward and unattractive way. I checked the tag more than once to make sure I had received the correct cup size. I had such high hopes for this bra from the descrlption, photos, and reviews, but it's not the bra for me.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for this feeedback. Carnival did confirm that this is a demi style bra for the full figured woman. So the cups are not full coverage. Carnival also shared that this bra is not designed to give great forward projection. We are reshooting this bra on a fuller figured model to try and better show the cut of this bra. Vicki from MI
