All of those saying to size down on this item must have never been measured correctly for a bra. I couldn't even get it around my chest/waist - there was a good 3-4 inch gap. Even with an extender closing it would have been impossible.
HerRoom Response: The suggestion to size down is only with regard to the cup size. As for band size, please consult our size chart and size up depending on your waist measurement.

Perfect! I read so many reviews before settling on this for my wedding day, and it turned out perfectly! Followed the recommendations for going down one cup size and that was spot on. The low cut/low back was perfect for the lines of my dress.

I've used this bra for years as a performer. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that the sizing runs vastly different from color to color. I recently purchase this piece in both beige and black. The cups in the black are easily one to two sizes larger than the beige, which fits like a true D cup. I kept both, but I needed to add pads to the black bra and won't get as much use out of it.

I first ordered a 32D but had to return it because it was way too tight! I received my 34D replacement very quickly and it fit great (my bra size US 32I, UK 32G) and had good support. Unfortunately it was not low enough in the back for my dress, so I'm probably returning it. Would have maybe kept it as lingerie but I can't put it on myself and I don't have handmaidens to assist me on a regular basis ;)

I love it!! It is perfectly low in the back for the dress I am wearing for. I did go down in the cup size & it's a perfect fit. I usually wear 32DD but got 32C & glad I did. I have awesome cleavage but not spilling out so Yey!!

This is a great long line bra if you need something with a very low back and very little padding. I agree with the other posters about the cup size, though. I normally wear a 34DD or a 32F and so I ordered a 34D. The cups were too big. I am ordering a 34C as a replacement and hopefully it will work. I tried on a very old Carnival long line bra of a different style (with a higher back) and the cups were a C and perfect - gave a nice little pushup effect without spilling over. I'm hoping for the best on this new order. It is very pretty and very slimming - just what I want for my wedding day!

Love it! Completely invisible under my wedding gown (tulle with lace overlay) and feels great. I don't think I will have any problems partying the night away in it. It is snug enough to make me feel secure and slim without feeling confined. Did go down a cup size as site recommends and glad I did as it saved me the hassle of returning it.

I wear a 32D in most bras, but ordered a cup size down based on other reviews in addition to my regular size. Due to the style I really could have worn either size but went with the 32C as I wanted less coverage with the dress I bought it for. It's very pretty, but provides less support than I'm used to with a regular bra. I do wish that it came with the option of straps for extra support.

Size: 34B
I can wear either a 34C or a 36B and the cups of this 34B were still TOO big for me. I had read other reviews, which indicated the cups run large, so I ordered a size down, but they were still too big. The bodice fit very well but my boobs just swam in it. I think a 34A in this style would be more like it for me, but if I tried that in any other bra, I would not even get it on. I can't even wear a normal 34B - just too small in the cups.
The back is very low, which I need for my dress. The lace is really pretty - I think it is the prettiest of all that I tried on but because of the cups I have to return it. It is also a bit short for me, but I am overly tall (6' 1/2"). Aside from that, it is very, very comfortable and lovely. I'd definitely recommend trying it, but keeping that generous cup size in mind. For my body shape (above bust 33", bust 36", below bust 30", waist 30" hips 38") everything worked for me but the cups. Because of my height, I ended up keeping the Carnival 386, even though this one was pretty respectable in height for someone as tall as I am. It would have worked but for the cups.

This is my very favorite strapless bra and, truly, the only one that really works on me. I am a natural 32D and other strapless bras either slip down or flatten me out. This one works so well, and looks so great, I have turned several friends on to it, as well. This is my second time buying this bra and I bought it, this time, in two colors. I buy it one cup size smaller, based on other reviews and it works great!

I followed instructions that I read on the site and go a smaller cup size that my every day size and also did the leaning forward thing to put on the bra. When I stood up straight it was a nightmare! My boobs never looked so horrible; it looked like they couldn't fill the bra and were separated as if the bra was pointing them outwards towards each boob's respective arm. Also there was no padding. I travel a lot for wok so by the time I got to try it on it was too late to return/exchange. I don't know how anyone could give this bra a good rating.
Carnival Response: This bra is lightly lined with fiberfill. Nowhere does it say in any description that it is padded. As far as your experience with your breasts separating this is the first time I have ever heard anyone make this complaint about this or any other bra that we manufacture. The cups on this bra are demi cups which by nature force the breasts to your center and create cleavage. I’m sorry that you had a bad experience.

Looks very pretty but the size is off. I normally wear a 32D but the universal chart said to order a 34B. It was way too big so I am returning it for a 32B. Hopefully it will fit, I really like the way it looks.
Carnival Response: If you usually wear a 32D then a 32C would probably be your best bet in this bra. Since 32C and 34B are cross sizes the sizing charts could replace one for the other.

I am a 32DD but purchased the 32D based on the other comments and it was definitely the way to go. Probably could have gone down another cup size. This is perfect for my bridal gown as it is low enough in the back for my keyhole dress and is corset like but not too tight and I wanted to push the boobs up!

If you have a long torso, this could work. (Note: I think I have an average torso length - not too long or short.) It was just too long for me and jabbed me in the lower abdomin when I sat down. Wouldn't have been comfortable.
Carnival Response:
Bones jabbing you in the stomach when sitting down are a result of the garment being too big on you not too long. You probably would be better served in a 32B or 32C.

It was just a hair small and so is uncomfortable to wear.

It seems like you need a 38D in this style. Since they cover more of your body and are more restrictive long lines can be much more uncomfortable than a regular bra if you do not wear the right size.

I am wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown on my wedding day and this was the one the store suggested that I purchase. The bustier itself works well with my dress, but it does run big. I am normally a 34 C and had to order a 32B. The 32B is still a little big, so I had to have it taken in.

In addition to cup size, they should have measurements for the waist area. The waist area has 2" of extra material for thinner females. I would not recommend this product.
Carnival Response:It seems like you should be wearing a 32A or 32B in this garment. The difference of 2” is actually one band size.

Very pretty! The lace is beautiful. The torso length is perfect, it goes over just enough tummy to prevent under bra bulge. I am tall, but very short waisted, so I worried it might be too long, but in fact it is perfect. The boning is supportive but does not dig when sitting down. The cups are a bit large, but because this is for my wedding I am adding in a little bit extra, so they are perfect. I would not recommend it for the heavy chested though. The low back does make it a little less supportive than others. Overall a very beautiful bra at a great price.

I followed the advice of other women who had ordered this item and ordered a cup size down, but the cup still didn't fit correctly. Also, the cups gave no support or shape. The lace was pretty but the cups left something to be desired.
Carnival Response:When wearing this or any corset you should put the corset on fully and then bend over while pulling the cups forward. Once you straighten your body up, your breasts will fill the cup entirely from the top down and you will not have the illusion or feeling of cups leaning forward. After doing the following, pull the corset down by the bottom band.

The body fit alright, I wouldn't say it was flattering but comfortable enough. The cups were very disappointing. I am normally a full B and I ordered a size down in the cup as suggested but it just did not fit right! The cups seemed like they were coming forward at an angle and not holding me in or giving any kind of support whatsoever. I felt like I would fall out of it at any moment. Exchanged for a Va Bien and couldn't be happier.
Carnival Response:
There is a solution to this problem: When wearing this or any corset you should put the corset on fully and then bend over while pulling the cups forward. I purchased this item to wear under a close-fitting wedding dress. For my purposes, it works very well. It gives shape and control to my bust, under an already snug bodice. It does not add bulk or cleavage, which is what I was looking for. However, it also does not provide support on its own. The front and back will both fit under a moderately low cut strapless dress. The garment does offer some control for the waistline and is much lighter weight than other control garments I've used. I ordered my usual band size and went down a cup size. The cups are the right size, but they fell forward giving me a "prow of a ship" look because of the low back. Overall, good for some applications. Also a very pretty garment.

Very pretty, the body fit perfectly but the cups just would not hold my breasts. I suppose the problem is the open back that does not provide support around the cups to keep them in place. The cups would just fall down and my breasts were almost completely out! Needless to say I had to return it. My suggestion: not for big breasted, at least if your breast is large with respects to your rib cage.
Carnival Response: There is a solution to this problem: When wearing this or any corset you should put the corset on fully and then bend over while pulling the cups forward. Once you straighten your body up, your breasts will fill the cup entirely from the top down and you will not have the illusion or feeling of cups leaning forward. If you still feel that you are not getting enough cup coverage then I would suggest you switch from this style (Which has plunge cups) to our style 423
(Which has full coverage cups and goes up higher in the back).

I followed the sizing instruction and read reviews. If you are looking for a lot of support this garment does not have it. At least, mine doesn't. The garment fit well around when using the sizing instruction, but I would recommend ordering smaller in the cup size than normal. Most of my bras are DD, so I ordered D and it is big. Order a full size down. The bra is pretty if that is what you are going for.

I read the reviews hoping this would be what I have been looking for. Unfortunately, this was one of the most unflattering undergarments I have ever tried on. I ordered a little bit small as the rest of the reviews said, and the bodice fit a bit tightly but wasn't too bad. Even slimmed a bit. When it came to the cups, though, it was a disaster. It looked like my breasts were sitting on a lumpy shelf. I order a size smaller than I usually wear and it was still incredibly loose and my breasts were hanging out every which direction. I was scared to move because I was afraid of what was going to come out, there was absolutely zero support or shaping. Under a dress, they looked like they were completely squished horizontally and the fabric bulged out awkwardly. I almost wanted to cry I looked so bad.

instead, as its longer.

I'm typically a 34B, but based on comments, I purchased both a 32A and 32B. The 32A fit perfectly in the band, but was much too tight in the cups. The 32B was bigger in both the band and the cups, making the bra much too loose. The bra only has two columns of clasps, making it hard to adjust the band size.
Carnival Response:Based on your comments we recommend that you try a 34A.

This is a beautiful bra and I did as was suggested and ordered down both a cup and band size. Unfortunately, it did not fit; although the cup fit was right, I could not even get the band to meet. because it only had one band size bigger, I decided to return it and reorder another style. I wish this came beyond a size 40 because I would buy it for the looks alone.

This bustier was very pretty and appeared well made but did not fit. I ordered my normal bra size and found that it was loose - pretty much everywhere. The back was low but that gave the front little support and the cups did not sit properly. It might have been better in a different size, but I had to return it and I ordered something else. I would recommend ordering at least one size smaller than you normally wear (34C instead of 36C etc...)

The lace on this bra is very pretty. I usually wear 34C but ordered a 34B. It fit well around the torso, though a third row of hooks would have helped tighten it. The cups were a bit big. This was ordered to go under a very low backed bridesmaids gown. The write up indicated it has a very low back. It does not. The back is not nearly as low as we expected and shows above the back of the gown. We are trying to figure out how to work with it now. The girl it's for is very large busted; so likes the support it gives; but the back is a problem. We haven't seen anything else on the site that would give the support she needs, so we're trying to work with it; but it's a problem.
