These short leg panties did NOT meet my need - of having an underwear that would NOT roll-up to my crotch. They were comfortable, but when sitting or bending over, gathered higher and thus "cut-into" the crotch, actually with more fabric than regular panties. Because I have an issue of blood clots in my thigh, I have chosen the LONGER leg panty as it stays put!

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this panty did not work for you. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to voice your concerns to us and truly apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. A from Lakelland, Fl USA

Really liked these panties, but will not reorder since the label threads really chafes and irritates.

Calida Response: There is a country of origin label which has to be sewn into the garment before it is shipped to the USA.  If you remove this label it may stop the discomfort you are is experiencing.   Bboop from Sacramento CA

Very pleased, the cotton is what I needed and they have just the right amount of stretch, nice & comfortable. I ordered the longer leg also, waiting for those to arrive, & I'm sure I will be just as pleased. Patty from Corpus Christti, TX

Excellent in every way! Got tired of the low rise boy shorts had me hiking up my undies constantly. These just so comfortably glide over your skin and stay in place. Cant find these style in cotton except in European brands. No riding up of the leg but the long leg style is a bit too "bulky" for me. The boy short style eliminates panty line and find cotton ones like these are much more comfortable AJ from Hartford CT USA

I am fond of Calida products. These are very soft and well made. Like many Calida products, they run large, so I order down one size. This leg length can be awkward if they are loose, and bunch up, so you don't want them fitting loose. Many panties chafe me around the top of the leg. Because of the longer leg openings, these are great on days when I want a break from the usual leg openings because of rashes or tenderness. They're also becoming in a retro kind of way. I wish these came in more colors. Emmy from Lexington, NY

The pants are lovely--came beautifully packaged. When I put them on they appear to fit fine. The trouble begins when I'm going about my daily activities. The inner thighs creep up which is annoying. Perhaps I am a large in this brand. (I'm size 14 and I ordered a medium per the Calida recommendation).

Calida Response: We suggest trying style 26024. This as a longer leg, which might help with legs moving up on you. Jean Ann from 45042

On me (with thighs that barely rub together), these are perhaps 1-2" shorter than they look in the picture, and the bottom of the leg feels slightly loose and flappy in the back. The cotton is very comfortable, and the elastic at the top is great for a 40" waist. They're fine under a loose skirt. Lisa from Berkeley, CA

I am tallish (5'10") and slender in a thickening-with-age sort of way (around the middle, that is). I thought these "boy shorts" might be best for younger women, but they are simply perfect and wonderfully comfortable. No panty line, no waist and leg constrictions, Lines do not show under fitness clothes. As I am heading into my later years I will spend those years in fine, well made cotton undies. Jean from Maine

Nice garment, with elastic at top, at waist, and on bottom of thighs. I prefer the Jockey for Her Skimmies type, which has all the same fabric, only it offers a bit more overall cling to the skin and never rides up. Also, Jockey costs less. These are worth it to try and see if you like them. Lisa from Cape Cod, MA

I wavered between ordering XL or L. After chatting with "live chat" and reading all the reviews, I decided to go with XL and L. The XL are a bit large for me [hips 49] and tend to ride up between thighs. Herroom replies to comments indicated that if the legs "ride up" then the size is too large. The L are a perfect fit, shall keep them for wearing under dresses, leggings, to PT under yoga pants, under EVERYTHING. LOVE the fabric! So soft, not totally opaque, and the leg hem is not as tight or unforgiving as I had imagined. Definitely worth the money!! pencilfox from Alaska

Well made. Comfortable. Buy size down if you want a little shaping. Don't ride up. I wear them under pants. Have walked long distances and bicycled short distances in them and they still didn't ride up. K from Mountain View, CA

I ordered medium and they are a little loose. I ordered small and they are too tight, so I went back to medium size. I think there is a little too much difference in size between the small and medium, but other than that, they are very comfortable. I don't like tight-fitting clothing. Claire from Withee, Wisconsin

Terrific fit and doesn't shift or roll with movement- I'm talking kung-fu and dancing. Soft and comfy fabric. Wish it wasn't so pricey 'cause it's my new favorite undie. I'm going to try the long-leg too. R from California, USA

I really like the underwear, although they are more expensive than I would like. I have two pair of medium size in the same style and now I lost weight and ordered the size S, but from what I'm seeing, there is quite difference between the medium and small, where the small is almost too small. These are great---they don't bind, and they're just thick enough so you can't see through them. Work perfectly for a long bottom. The legs ride up a bit, but that works out for me. I tried the long legged ones, too, but that's just too much drawers. I plan to wear these under tennis dresses, and they're just right for that. I've ordered another pair. Pros: cotton, super soft, available in nude, Cons: rides up, seams too thick in crotch area

Calida Response: This style has a wide gusset for comfort. No seams in this area, no irritation. If style is riding up I would go down a size. Anonymous

At 5;11" it is very difficult to find undergarments with a long enough rise to site correctly on my body. Garments designed to sit at the waist will typically sit 2-3 inches below my waistline. Well, not so with this garment! No only does it fit properly, but it is soft, comfortable, and fits the same after washing. If I could afford it, I would replace every pair of panties in my drawer with these. Melissa from Austin, TX

The material is great but the leggings are too short, they climb up. I was expecting a bit more support on the leggings so I dont need to keep pulling them down and a little longer.

These are my go to panties. They look great under pants- no panty lines, with skirts- they keep your upper thighs from rubbing and with everything they just feel great against your skin. Think of them as a female boxer brief. They are by Calida so the the quality and comfort goes without saying. Denise from Reidsville NC

I needed some "boyshort" style undies to wear when I was bedridden for awhile; the leg bands on regular-cut panties were uncomfortable when sitting for extended times. I found these panties by searching Calida products, which I like a lot. Now that I am up and about again, I find I love these for yoga, walking and for wearing when I don't want a panty-line. The fabric is wonderful, the fit is right and they are super-comfortable! This is my second order of these panties; I had to have more! PS - I wash them on cold-delicate cycle in the machine and line-dry. Kate from Portland OR

These are probably great panties, but they didn't achieve what I wanted them to. They were too short to prevent my legs from 'rubbing' when I wear skirts. However, I am carrying extra weight and I'm sure that makes a difference...

Calida Response: Calida makes a longer leg length in this Comfort group. Try Calida 26024, this will give you the coverage that you desire. Courtney from Kentucky

They are what I have been looking for and have not been able to find. They are fantastic, very comfortable. The only problem that I have is they run very much larger than sized. I ordered an XL (which is usually what I wear) and they were too large. I received the large and I think the medium may even be better. They really are so comfortable! KATHERINE from PINELLAS COUNTY

Absolutely wonderful garment. I have never seen such comfortable material. I was disappointed since it was too large. I am so anxious to receive the "large" size. I will be returning it and have already ordered the smaller size! KATHERINE from PALM HARBOR, FL PINELLAS CO.

I did not like these boy shorts at all. They were uncomfortable and rode up too high when I was sitting down as I do all day at work.

Calida Response: This style is a short leg full brief panty. It is made with comfort in mind whereas it does not have elastic around the leg for people that are sensitive or to prevent chafing. It sounds like you are looking for a regular boy short panty. We would recommend Calida boyshort 25124. Lisa from Fresh Meadows, NY, USA

I love these panties. I used to wear Hanes Women's boxer briefs ( which were incredibly cheaper than these) but they stopped making them so I have been on a hunt for a replacement. These are perfect although expensive. The main reason that I like these so much is that the leg of the panty comes down on the leg. There is nothing digging in anywhere, no panty lines, nothing pulling or twisting. They are just great. I just wish they weren't so darn expensive. The HerRoom site is wonderful too. They made ordering so easy and I received my purchase very quick. Denise from Reidsville, NC

This boy short is what I was looking for a long time. Very comfy, do not ride up, very soft, provide full coverage, do not go too high in the wast (not a granny high leg panty) and not thick at all. I have about 20 or so sports boy shorts by Hanes and would like to replace them all with Calida. I did not know what my size would be, I usually buy 8 or 9 in Hanes, so I bought L in Calida. I kept it because I loved it so much, but next time I'll order a M. Marta from Bowling Green

I have the most sensitive skin and panties are a great problem for me as I also have a latex/elastic allergy. I love these. Absolutely love them. Yes, the crotch area's a bit odd, but the seams are fine and these can be worn low or regular rise. Mostly though, they are comfortable and I don't feel like I have bulky undies on or panties that are going to cut into my skin where the elastic is. The waistband is covered and there is no elastic on the bottom hems. No tag--what's to dislike? Ok, they are boyish and un-sexy. But they are a staple for me. Lisa from USA

I had high hopes for these, based on reviews here and elsewhere. I had to return all the but the pair I wore to try them out. The fabric is great. The basic shape is great. BUT the crotch construction is an odd shape and very uncomfortable. The seams are sort of "satin stitched" and are stiff and raised enough to be irritating. They are noticeable when sitting on them (the problem for me was mostly where they caught me on the backside) and visible when wearing certain types of lighter/silkier fabric pants (my husband and a close friend noticed this.) I'm not a particularly "sensitive skin" person, either. This style in cotton is SO difficult to find, which made these even more of a disappointment. I love the Elita boy shorts, but those run small and they aren't available in an XL in cotton. Ruth from Oregon

Absolutely loved them! It is so hot and humid in the south that one does not want anything 'binding'. They are great with skirts, dresses and some pants/shorts because there are no panty lines. If one wants firm support, these are not for you. Also, these would be great to wear with a sleep top especially the black. Very cool and comfy! I ordered several more pair. They look like bicycle shorts and I really like the longer pair for longer shorts, etc. susan from south carolina

The combination of cotton and spandex make these quite comfortable to wear. The spandex helps to keep them in place. I've been a Calida panty wearer for quite some time but the other ones didn't have the spandex and I much prefer these with the combo. Diana from Sacramento, CA
