This is probably an amazing I had high hopes for this bra since I read on blogs and researched for the perfect comfy nursing bra to wear while at home with baby. I ordered an XL according to size chart. I was a 34DD prior to pregnancy, now about a 36DDD. This bra was HUGE and provided no support. Hopefully a smaller size will work. Brianna from FL, USA

Fits as expected. I used their sizing chart to determine the size I bought. Comfortable, I wear it to sleep in and it doesn't bother me at all. Marie from Payson, Utah

A friend recommended this bra and I plan on nursing for another two years. Fits perfectly and is still the perfect bra after a few washes. I was concerned about the inserts coming out in the wash...similar bras have inserts that are impossible to put back in. However, they stayed in place and give me better coverage than my older bras. I plan on ordering a few more of this brand and style nursing bra through Her Room, which I discovered on Ebates! Rebecca from West Lafayette, IN

The best nursing bra I have ... Used at the end of pregnancy since no other bra was comfortable and also for nursing ... I hate sleeping in a bra but have to while nursing and this one is the best for that ! Jessica from Tampa/Fl

Over all I really like this bra. It is comfortable and feels like a sports bra but does not look like one. I am more of an underwire girl but they started hurting at about 7 months. I currently wear a 36 E (smaller side of it) and XL fits perfectly! Chris from Central IL

I would normally wear a 34D or DD, and would have been much better off going with the Medium. In general, this bra is well-designed... fits very much like a sports bra, very comfortable against the skin, but leaves something to be desired for support. SF

I love this bra. I live in my nursing bras for support. This bra is so comfortable that I do not even know I am wearing it. The only think I am dissapointed in is that I wish I would have known about this bra with my first child( I am on number 3). Hands down the best! Leah from Ellis

This bra fits like a dream. I have never worn a more comfortable bra which is a treat when breastfeeding and pumping all the time! The fabric is so soft. I needed the XL and my pre-pregnancy bra size was a 34/36 B! Dominique from Grafton, MA, USA

I really wanted this bra to work but it just did't fit! My pre-pregnancy size is a 32F...the band size was just right but the cup way too small for me.

Bravado Response: You should always measure based on your current size. Depending on what stage you are in your pregnancy may reveal a larger band width to help accommodate a larger cup. In this case if you ended up measuring a 34 you would still fall into the same size (medium). If you still feel this is too small in the cup I suggest trying our Bliss style bra 125 as it offers a more structured cup and also has a flexible support channel that mimics an underwire. I waited to try this until I was thoroughly frustrated with every other softcup bra I tried...I was convinced I would hate it. Finally gave in and I have to say...I can't find one thing wrong with it. I measure about a 32F-G at 6 months pregnant and the medium fits perfect with a little room to grow. The removeable pads stay put and don't ever show even under knit t-shirts if arranged right. No show through, I've washed them 3-4 times (machine wash, line dry) and they still look brand new. Very much worth the money especially compared to some of the others out there. Beth from Michigan, USA

I've gone from a 36DD pre-pregnancy to a 44DDD in my 3rd trimester and finding bras that work for my top-heavy body is next to impossible. I so hoped this bra would work for me. Unfortunately, I did not feel the cup size was accurate and would have needed a G-cup from Bravado. The style is great and the fabric seemed like it would be comfortable, but my breasts were spilling out of the cups. Bravado: please make an XXL! Elizabeth from Minneapolis/MN/USA

Amazing bra. VERY comfortable, even after all day wear. Nice breast separation, and I am a 36E. Band is not too wide, so I can see wearing this all the way through pregnancy (I bought it as a maternity bra). Not the best lift, but still nice and I think very good for 36E as there is no underwire. Elizabeth from Wisconsin

I outgrew all my other bras. The underwire bras were pushing into my side as my growing belly kept pushing it up. I really like having support and shape in a bra. This bra is PERFECT! I would recommend it to anyone needing a bra for maternity to nursing. This is my third baby and each pregnancy I keep finding something better than what I had before. This bra is a keeper and I will be getting more as my new baby is here. I have less than a month! Cantfamily from Imbler/Oregon/USA

The bra fits very well and is very comfortable. However, after wearing for a few days, I developed a rash around my boobs. I stopped wearing it and the rash disappeared.

Bravado Response:Were you wearing this at night? The Body Silk Seamless isn’t as breathable as the Original Nursing Bra - it is 92% cotton and designed for sleeping. Sophia

I want to love this bra. However, I am pre-pregnancy a 34DD/DDD and now more of a 34/36/DDD/DDDD. In order to have good coverage, I need a Large... however, I am already on the tightest clasp in order for it to fit properly (and I am 34 weeks pregnant, so a bit bigger around the band). I still bought it, because it was comfortable and may work around the house, but I wish I could get it fitted in a bra size so I can get the coverage I need with the proper band size. Let me tell you why I love this bra, because of the S/M/L sizing! Seriously, this is the perfect nursing bra for the last month of pregnancy and first month of breast feeding when your size is changing constantly and anything you get isn't going to fit next week. It is not real supportive, my test is how much the "girls" bounce if I bounce up and down. If you walk briskly in this bra you will get some major jiggle. However, since you don't do too much of anything briskly during this time period it looks nice under clothes. It's so comfortable, after you finally settle into a size and can get one more supportive this makes an excellent sleep bra. I still wear it every night! Cam from KY

Most comfy nursing bra I've ever worn- and I have tried A LOT of different ones. I think the fairly wide microfiber band is part of what makes it so comfortable. I have had a lot of problems with pain this time around, and I find that I only want to wear this bra, especially if I have a plug or am engorged. I thought the removable pads were silly at first, but they are actually flattering under a shirt. I agree with some of the other posters that this bra is not as supportive as I'd like, but that is probably part of why it's so comfy. It looks better under clothes than some other Bravado bras I have tried, which squish my boobs yet still make them sag. Adele from NC

I just got this bra and am very impressed. It is VERY comfortable and the support is better than I thought it would be. Being a 38DD pre-pregnancy I thought there was no way a bra without an underwire would work so I purchased a nursing bra with a wire. Two lactation consultants told me "DO NOT wear a nursing bra with an underwire" but I did anyway. Although I didn't have any major problems with the wire, I did find I would get a hard lump after wearing it all day - this would go away at night when I wore a non-wire sleep bra. So I got this bra to compare and long story short, it's great - very comfortable, good support and smooth under tops even with a nursing pad. Jenn from Boston, MA

had to purchase the Large size in this bra, just so that I could get the cup coverage I needed. But my 32 rib measurement means that I will need for the Bra to be altered before the bra can give me the support my back needs with such large and heavy maternity and nursing breasts. The only reason I am not sending this bra back is because I plan to use it as a nursing bra around the house, and I think that it can be altered to provide me with better support Dawn from Broken Arrow, OK

My daughter's first comment after trying on the medium size was to say that it was not supportive enough for her current 23" F size breasts. She did agree that it might be fine for a sleeping bra once the baby arrives and during the nightime feedings. She did though asked me to exchange it for a large size since the cups in the medium size bra seemed nearly to small for her even during her 8th month of pregnancy and she was afraid that that they would really be too small when her milk comes in after the baby is born. At the fitting session, we did not realize that we could remove the cookies, or if removing them would have changed her opinion. Mary from Tulsa OK

The Bravado Body Silk is a very comfortable, soft, well-made bra. I love that the cups open up really wide, and that it's seamless and soft.

Critiques: It doesn't offer much in the way of support; it doesn't so much support as it flattens. I feel it makes me look droopy or dowdy, and I'm not large-busted! Also the range of sizes should be just a bit wider. I normally wear a 30 band (a 32 immediately postpartum), so the Small (for band sizes 32-36) in this bra requires constant adjustment due to the band being too loose. Another thing that bothers me is that the lining is microfiber. Nursing bras should be lined with cotton, or at the very least, a cotton blend.

All in all, I'm happy with this bra for the postpartum period while everything is still tender and fluctuating (and you don't care what you look like). After that, it's just a backup for me when everything else is in the laundry!

HerRoom Response: Thank you for pointing out that you are actually a 30 band size. This bra is not designed to fit your size in it's size S. Sara from Buffalo, NY

One of the most comfortable bras I own. I can wear it all day without wanting to kill myself or anyone around me. The sizing, unfortunately, doesn't work perfectly for me. I'm a 34 F/G, and the Medium is just a bit too big around and not quite big enough in the cups. However, I'm still giving this 5 stars because that's what the size chart indicates. I love the texture and feel of this bra! I forget that I'm wearing one! I'm in my last trimester and was looking for a supportive/ comfortable bra with no under-wire (all I ever wore) as those started to dig into me whenever I sat down. I read the other reviews about the foam cups inside and yes I can see what they are talking about however I don't see them through my shirts (they are so super thin) nor are they bothersome in any other way. I think if it was made in any other way it would look/fit worse overall. So thank you Bravado for making this bra, please make more colors. Thank you HerRoom for getting it to me faster than ever anticipated! Marina from NY

There are some drawbacks to this bra, but overall I really love it. First, the pad can give great shaping, support, and coverage, but tended to need readjustment after nursing. I took a needle and thread and sewed the pad in place, anchoring it to the band of the bra with just 3-4 stitches to take care of that. The bra is cut high...but then again what isn't that gives support to a larger cup AND comfort AND no wire? And the best feature---when I was done nursing I cut the stay straps off, and then I had a super-comfy light sports bra that gave good shaping and coverage AND could be converted to x-back WHILE I WORE THE BRA! I still use this bra for yoga. It is THAT comfortable and flattering. d from ohio

I grew from a 32B to at least a 34D while nursing (hard to say exactly, since my size depended on when my baby had last nursed!). I love this bra, it cannot be beat for comfort and support. However I tended to only wear it around the house, because it is cut so darn high. It showed under almost all of my scoop and v-neck shirts--the very shirts I wanted to wear for easier nursing. This bra only stayed hidden under high neck shirts that I'd have to pull up, rather than down, to nurse. So it didn't really work for public wearing. Disappointing. Claire from Boston ma

This is my second nursing bra. It's very comfortable. I'm size 34D and the M fits perfectly! It also provides good support. One thing I do wish is the cut was lower so I could wear slightly lower cut t-shirt and not have the bra exposed. CA from Boston, MA

This is one of the better nursing bras I have found. I like that it has thin pads (good for shape and for possible leaking) but they fold when I go to nurse and don't fix themselves when I'm done. It is hard to fix them when nursing in public. I am normally a 36DDD and ordered a medium. It works but by the end of the day the cups seem too small (or I'm no longer in it properly) and I flow over. I'm afraid if I went to a large I wouldn't have the support I need. Cassie from Mesa, AZ

This bra is so comfortable! I received it yesterday and already have it on today. I still have 4 weeks until my due date, but I can tell this is going to be my favorite nursing bra....and I'll probably wear it after nursing, it feels that good. My original bra size is 36DD, and I moved up to a 36 DDD/F during my pregnancy. I used to always wear underwires because they gave me more support, but this bra is unbelievably great. Wonderful support, and great comfort! Worth the price for sure. BRAVO, BRAVADO!! Tara from Rockville, MD

I love this bra. It is so comfortable and looks great under knits. The fabric is very stretchy and the entire garment is seamless. I love that the straps fit. Being petite, I have a shorter torso, and sometimes the straps are too long and they end up slipping off my shoulders. With this bra, I can adjust the straps to get a perfect fit. This Bravado Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra is so comfortable and so supportive. It allows for flexibility for size changes as nursing demands change. I am a full figure mom and other bras have been comfortable enough for overnight wear but not supportive enough for daytime. This Bra is surprisingly supportive for such a soft and comfortable bra. The "Butterscotch" color is great for under sheer or white tops. It has a deeper V and can work with a t-shirt or silk blouse. I recommend this to any fuller figure mom who may be wondering if support and comfort can really come together in a great nursing bra! I love it! Mary from Toronto

I bought this bra on a friend's recommendation and am back today to buy my third, mainly because I need a black nursing bra and my others are ivory. This is my favorite nursing bra of all time. I have four other styles that I pass over to wear this one instead. It is comfortable and provides good shape. I have no problems with the removable foam pads creasing or being visible. It does limit the necklines I can wear, but I'll just save the shirts I can't wear with this bra for when I'm done nursing. Two thumbs up. Jennifer from Fort Worth, Texas

This bra is perfect for a petite size woman. My prepregnancy bra size was 32B and this bra fits perfectly and comfortably. If you are petite and having a hard time finding a comfy nursing bra, this bra is for you. I give 4 stars because there are two things I do not like. The snap is quite hard to undo when a baby is frantically crying for milk. Also the hooks in the back are too small/too level and hard to reach for fastening. However, I am very satisfied with the quality of this bra. hf from virginia

This is a very comfortable bra with one exception - the wide band underneath tends to fold and needs to be readjusted. I'm a 38D (and an older mom with not-as-perky-as-they-used-to-be boobs!) and have found that it is supportive enough without an underwire. The material is great and feels nice. I haven't found that the soft cups show through my clothing but I haven't started wearing tighter T-shirts since my pregnancy. I don't tend to use the soft cups when I'm just staying home but save the shape for going out of the house, then they don't bend when I nurse. I haven't had any trouble with the one hand clasp and it works well for me. I would imagine that once this bra has been worn consistently it will become a sleep bra for me, but for now, the support is very good. Jill from TX

The fabric of this bra is extremely comfortable. I bought a size large even though I wear a 36G and it is made for up to a 36F. I bought this bra specifically for sleeping and lounging around the house. It does serve that purpose well. However, it does not provide enough support for me to consider wearing out of the house. It comes with removable thin pads to help conceal nursing pads, but they are useless as they get creases in them when you drop the cup. On a positive note, this bra is very stretchy, so if your breasts engorge a bit during the night with longer spaces between feedings or during engorgement, it stretches without hurting your breasts. I gave the bra 3 stars because it is a very, very comfortable sleeping bra, but it is not practical for daily wear, which makes it an expensive sleep bra! Ishe's mama from Tacoma, WA, USA
