This bra seemed to deliver moderate support with a streamlined , lightweight construction. The cups, however, ran on the small side and the band extremely tight. I ordered my usual size, 30DD and had to return it.

HerRoom Response: This is a high impact sports bra. The fit will feel tight in order to prevent breast bounce during high impact sports. VC from Asheville, NC, USA

The material didn't have much stretch making the band pretty tight. The underwires dug into my ribs, which was also uncomfortable. The bra did provide support and kept everything contained. RL from Washington, DC

Amazing. Favorite bra at the moment. The band is *snug.*. I'm a solid 30 band in panache and Freya sports bras. I will reorder this one in a 32. Molly from Ferndale

The size I ordered was so way off base, I was very disappointed. I was looking forward to having this as a new bra.

I recently bought 3 Berlei sports bras to run in...found the brand by looking up with the Venus sisters wear when playing tennis. I've been a competitive athlete for over 20 years and these are by far -- by orders of magnitude -- the best, most supportive, most comfortable, most attractive, easy to put on / take off, awesome-est bras I've ever owned. Being a 38DDDD makes running without a good bra impossible; my Berili bras are a life changer. Carol from Orange County, NC

I love this sports bra. It keeps me in place with exercising without giving me a uniboob. I ordered my first one on a sale and am looking forward to ordering another. Toni from Archbald

I have previously purchased this bra through brand website so I knew what I was ordering. The product was exactly what I expected. I love this bra for high impact workouts. My only error, was not converting the sizing appropriately, which resulted in a 1 size smaller cup size. User error on my part. Michelle from New Hampshire

Berlei bras are literally the best sports bras in the whole world. I've always bought Berlie except my last one which was horrible and I regret it. So that's why I bought this one. It's well worth it and they last for years! I have a large chest and these bras are extremely supportive. Susan from FL

I love this bra! It has super support and gives me a great silhouette. It really gets "the girls" up! This is my second purchase of this style. I love it so much, I wanted to get a backup. Karen from Vancouver, WA

Fit was odd. The band fit well but the cups offered no real support for working out.

This bra gets two stars simply because of how wide and comfortable the straps are. As someone with a niggling shoulder issue, that was key. However, the compliments stop there. The bra is somewhat supportive, but once I took it for a spin in my HIT class, my boobs no longer felt locked down. Also, you should be aware that the seams are very noticeable under clothing; I felt self conscious. Waste of money.

It's very comfortable. Not much of an extreme impact sports bra though, it seems like more of a medium/high impact Asha from Ohio

I love the support, lift and separation of this bra. I've tried a lot of different brands of sports bras and this is my new favorite. I engage in a lot of high impact sports, like running, and the girls barely move. My favorite feature is that the side support is awesome and actually gives me a better range of motion for my arms, this one lifts and brings the breasts forward, away from the biceps. The bra silhouette is somewhat old school and pointy, but I don't mind one bit, plus after some wear the shape softened. Tiffany from Michigan

The cups seemed low quality at first (not as much material as other Berlei styles). The straps are a tad wide and the strap ‘buckles’ are metal, but they don’t dig. This has a great fit with great coverage!! Margaret

I've been wearing molded cups for extra support until I found this bra! I bought it for aerobic exercise. I fell in love with the wide straps, the strong structure, the funky colors (mine has purple and black), and the super support. I'm ordering one in nude and black for every day use. It's nice to have this level of support without molded cups and foam. Karen from USA

This is an incredibly supportive sports bra that looks good and feels excellent! I have a very curvy body and like to have my boobs stay in place at all times including during my water aerobics class. I wear this bra in the water and out and I love it. It has really wide straps that have minimal elastic making them stable. Karen

Being petite with large natural breast has always been a challenge, even more so as I get older. Keeping them separated with great support & without padding / liners. I am very active with fitness classes and motorcycle riding. This bra does everything needed. CJR from Marietta, GA

The support is good but the shape of the bra is pointy (like that 60's/Madonna style). Although it's subtle, it's still a bit weird for a sports bra, or any bra.

Berlei Response:The structure of the bra having a seam at the bust point can create a slightly more pointy shape by its design and structure. In fit, we tend to make it as round as possible. Depending on the size and production make up, it can create this slightly more “projected” shape. If you're looking for a high support bra and the roundness is very important, we suggest, the Y599W , as it offers both extreme support and a very round shape. Nevertheless, it has a light foam (even if breathable) so if you're looking still at a non padded shape, the full support Y533WB has a more natural rounded shape tailored for busted women. The coverage and the structure would be more tailored for a full figure thanks to its specific features like the shaped straps, breathable fabric, and full coverage cup. Talin from Long Beach, CA

I pulled out the underwires and it is perfect. With the underwires, I probably should have gotten the 34DD. I was a first time buyer of Berlei...I will only buy Berlei after my experience now. Amy from HI

I just received the Berlei bra in 30F this afternoon. It fits very well and it is surprisingly comfortable. I've been wearing the Panache Ultimate Maximum Control underwire bra for the last few years for running and crossfit (anything high impact) and it has been the only bra that can do the job without doubling up - I love it. This bra is going to do very well, too. The straps are more comfortable than the Panache. My only complaint with the Panache is that it connects too high in the back and is uncomfortable on the tops of the shoulders. The Berlei bra gives me the option to criss-cross the straps in back, placing the cross lower and widening the shoulder straps. It's a little tricky getting in and out of but I am fortunate to have good mobility so it will not be a problem. The Berlei feels very secure and has very little bounce. This is a welcome addition. I am so happy to have another option that works - and I like the way it looks, too. Hilary

This sports bra definitely gave the support I would need. I jumped up and down and barely any bounce. It didn't create a uniboob either, or squish them in, it just held them firmly with lots of support. For me, the cups were too pointy. Perhaps it's because my everyday bras have molded cups, or because I think I prefer a uniboob feel when I wear a sports bra, but this one wasn't right for me. That was personal preference though. It definitely gave full High support for my 38F's. Beth from Rochester NY USA

This is the best sports bra that I have ever owned, hands down! There is no slip or annoying ride up when I move. The straps can be crisscrossesd if needed to accommodate a sports top. I already own 4 of this particular style. Kristin from Oregon

Finally a sports bra that fits!!! For short girls like me, strap length is always an issue, but in my case cup size is difficult to find as well. Since my first pregnancy, I have been huge, D5 universal cup size. This bra is a godsend! The straps adjust to the perfect length for me. It is more supportive than anything else I've tried. It is truly an awesome bra! Jill from Connecticut

Love this bra! It is so comfortable for me (no wideset straps!) that I don't take it off after I've worked out. This is a first! Also, I have even worn it to bed. This bra is so supportive that it acts just like the new "sleep" bras. No creasing between your breasts. It isn't pretty, but it not only works well, it actually looks better on me than many of my supposedly pretty bras. Robin from Fort Lauderdale, FL

It has good support. It could be better if you could adjust the straps in the front with velcro or another way. It is really hard to get the bra on and the straps hook in the back which is very awkward. However the bra covered me well on the in the front and on the side, which I liked. I will buy more if they change it so you can fasten the straps in the front.

Berlei Response: Thank you for your feedback. We will take note of this and get back to our technical team on this. Angela
