The wires just dig into your abdomen. I had to return it.

Aviana Response:  If the underwire is digging into your abdomen then you are wearing a cup that is too big for you or doesn't fit your body type.  Try a smaller cup or Aviana Softcup Minimizer Bra 2357 for a wireless minimizer option. Martha from Saint Louis

I really like this bra. It feels nice against the skin and truly minimizes. I gave it four star because it does what it says which is minimizes. However I should probably have went down another size in the band and or cup. My breast often slip out from under and the front won't stay flat. It is twisted or should I say overlapping. It's not overlapping alot but still. Lynn from Tennessee

This bra is not minimizer quality. I have worn minimizer bras, particularly Bali brand, and the results were much better. This bra didn't provide complete coverage or look good on at all, with or without a shirt on. I looked smashed and thrown together and was hanging out under the middle of the bra. I look larger with it on than I do with my regular bras. Do not buy this bra if you're looking for a minimizer.

Not happy at all with this bra. It seemed to fit well for the first 15 minutes, but as soon as I moved, bent over or shifted, the band crept up my back and my 'girls' slipped over the top of the cups. Also, the bra did not fit flat in front so the center where the underwire meets jutted outward and created an embarrassing bump under my shirt. This just doesn't have the engineering or support that it should.

Really uncomfortable. The wires are wonky in the front and keep kind of collapsing on each other. No good at all.

Aviana Response: If the wires collapse on each other than this bra is not the correct size or does not fit your body type. Try the Aviana Floral Soft Cup Bra 2353. You’ll be amazed how much more support and comfort our wide foam sling provides in these bras. Rachel

I really wanted to like this bra because it really does minimize. However I have tried 4 sizes of this bra and I am still disappointed. The middle center of the underwires won't lay flat. They turn from left to right. This is true on all 4 sizes I tried. As suggested by Tomima's tip, I ordered up in cup size and band. This was way too big. The one that fit the best 38I was actually a band size smaller than I normally wear.

Aviana Response: Sometimes a certain style of bra just will not fit your body type. That seems to be the case with you since you’ve tried so many sizes. If you’re comfortable with less minimization, try our Aviana Satin and Lace Minimizer Bra 2457. Savannah

I did not like that it did not have side support, made me appear too wide.

Aviana Response: The 2460 is a full cup minimizer. In order to minimize the projection of the breast, the breast tissue is compressed and will either go toward the bottom of the cup or to the sides. If you’d like a bra that still minimizes, but not to the extent of the 2460, please try our Aviana Softcup Minimizer Bra 2357. This style provides a nice rounded shape with less projection, but do not minimize a full cup size. Debby from Annapolis, MD

It is the worst bra I have ever owned. I have adjusted it every way possible & I still fall out underneath! The straps must be too short, or something! It is just AWFUL! Do not recommend!

Aviana Response:The 2460 is a full cup minimizer and reduces projection by redistributing breast tissue toward the bottom of the cup or sides. If your breast is not contained within the bra, however, then you are not wearing the correct size or this bra just does not fit your body type. If you’d like a bra that still minimizes, but not to the extent of the 2460, please try our Aviana Satin and Lace Minimizer Bra 2457. This style provides a nice rounded shape with less projection, but do not minimize a full cup size. Drea

I was lucky to find this website that offers seamless bras for larger sizes. I love that this bra gives support with being seamless. I'm very disappointed because less than a month of wearing it, both wires started to poke through the center. I have tried to push them back in, but within minutes of wearing the bra it starts poking me again. I was going to buy another bra, but I'm not sure of the quality anymore. I hope they can fix the quality and insure the wires do not poke out anymore.

HerRoom Response: It sounds like your band might be too big. Consider trying a 32H in this brand. Mary from Tucson/AZ/USA

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the expanded cup sizes. This is the only bra I have worn for over 10 years that actually keeps my breast held up (with the no stretch straps). I've been struggling for the past couple years from a slight weight gain (which went to my breasts). Tried 36 for slightly larger cup, didn't work. Just got my 34k... It fits perfectly. At my size, it's difficult to find something that will minimize with comfort and without making my breasts look like a foreign objects. This one does a pretty good job, however. I was very satisfied with the cup shape though I am sending it back to exchange for a smaller band size. The 38 band size was just a little too big on the tightest setting, meaning it will loosen with time. So, I am crossing my fingers that getting a smaller band size won't be TOO snug. Otherwise, it will be an awesome go-to bra for when I am not looking to accentuate the assets. CBisme

The bra fits extra small in band width and cup size. I could barely breathe and my breasts spilled out of it. The universal cup sizing didn’t work with this bra.

This was a comfortable bra the first day that I wore it. It might have been comfortable beyond that had one of the wires not starting poking out of the bra after just one day. Obviously, this is a low-quality, yet high priced item.

Aviana Response: We have very tight quality controls over our sewing and every component of our bras. I assure you, our bras are not cheaply made. They are made from USA manufactured fabrics in a USA owned facility in Costa Rica. Our bras are strong and supportive all the way to 56 bands and M cups. I liked the bra and kept it, but have one complaint: If a woman wants a MINIMIZER, that means, to me, that she doesn't want her chest to look as big as it is. So, can someone tell me why minimizers are so few and when you can find one, they aren't underwires and/or the cups only go up to a G. An underwire gives the best support to big, heavy breasts, in my opinion. Why don't the sizes go higher? I needed an "I" cup or at the least, an "H" - but G was the highest offered. It does make me appear smaller, but I have substantial spillage over the top, which forces the middle of the bra outward, and that shows in most of the tops I wear. I kept it, even though it was expensive, because I wanted a minimizer. HERROOM - can't you speak to your suppliers about offering bigger sized cups in the minimizer? Why do they think a woman even WANTS a minimizer!

HerRoom Response: Minimizers only go up to G cup sizing, because larger breast simply can't be minimized. A minimizer reduces breast projection by distributing breast tissue under arms, further up the chest, and in towards the cleavage. Larger breasts simply already have breast tissue in those places already, so there is no other place to put it. I hope this answers your question. Jackie from Cuyahoga Falls, OH

This is the world's best minimizer. I have tried at least 20 - 30 and this is the only one that I can wear all day comfortably and it truly makes my shirts fit properly. I am 5'4 and 140 lbs so having breast this large makes it difficult to find clothes that fit properly considering they are larger than my size should be. This bra truly does take your clothes down a size or two. It also last forever! I just throw them in the wash by themselves on gentle and let them air dry. Mine usually last at least a year. I've got some that are 2 years old and I'm still wearing them. You just can't go wrong with this bra. Marilyn from BA, OK

Did not like the way it made my breasts look so wide, like they protruded over the sides of my body. Pressed them in and out rather than a nice shaped minimizing function.

Aviana Response: This bra is a full size minimizer (reduces your projection a full cup size), and that tissue has to go somewhere. In the 34G, a G cup breast would be compressed and rounded nicely without tissue under the arm nor pressed inward creating pillow cleavage. I suspect if you had that much breast pushing to each side, you may need an H cup bra. The 2460 is not yet available in H, but we are working on it. J S from Forest, VA, USA

This is a very comfortable bra and it minimizes quite well. No "digging", no riding up....I only gave it 4 stars, though, because I measure a true 36 and the band was very tight the first few times I wore this bra. I had to put it on the last hook. Then, after a few wearings, I am now on the first set of hooks....even after washing and drip-drying. Kind of puzzling....but now it is even more comfortable. A great product at a great price. This is the second time I buy this particular bra. It is an ideal minimizer, reducing projection so that my contour appears smaller, more 'compact.' The seamless cups look great under a tee and the padded straps, although wider than I like, make for great comfort (no gouging into the shoulders). No gaps or bulges and washes well. One minor negative: it squeaks! When I first put it on and adjust "the girls" but NOT all day long. However, this flaw does lessen with washings. I will definitely purchase again.

HerRoom Response: The squeaking you are hearing happens when the casing around the underwire is sewn a little too tightly. With time and washing, this little sound usually goes away. Chris from NJ

It flattened my front and pushed it all out to the side. Arm boobs are just not attractive. Back to Wacoal!

This bra didn't give me the support I thought it would according to the reviews and write up. It's a bra for around the house but definitely not for work or going out. Very disappointed. It minimized ok but I don't recommend for fuller cup sizes.

First of all i want to say that the bra looks very nice. My problem was wires, the ones in the center and under my arms. I felt that the cup size was right, and i am a little confused why were the wires all over the place...confused. Still looking for perfect t-shirt bra with enough lift and separation... :-(

Aviana Response: I’m not sure what the problem could be. Perhaps the wires were too long for your frame? If that’s the case, try our other minimizer bra, the 2457.

It definitely minimizes but if you are a full cup your cup will runneth over. You may have to try one cup size larger.

Aviana Response: Yes! As with all minimizers, the smaller the cup you choose, the more cleavage and “underarm boob” you are going to create. If in doubt, go up a cup!

This is my third Aviana 2460 Minimizer bra. It is the only bra that I can find (and I have a whole drawer full of failures) that offers me seamless support, comfortable fit, and minimizing control with an attractive style in my hard to find and fit size of 34G. It is tough, too; washes and wears well. The straps do not dig into my shoulders and are comfortable. My only complaint is that the underwire band is built so tough/sturdy that it has a sort of "squeak" noise when you adjust it. Also, even though I ordered the same tag size the actual cup size on my second bra was a bit smaller than the first. Nan from Wisconsin

I wasn't really impressed with this bra to begin with, but then after washing it by hand once...the stitching by the hooks started coming unraveled. I guess I expected more for the money. It did minimize as far as outward projection goes, but I felt smooshed and widened out instead. I don't know...I'm just not very impressed. Leigh from Belton, MO USA

This is by far the best bra I have ever bought!! It is light yet provides great support. I love that it is a minimizer and that it is so comfortable!! I ordered several more of this Bra because I love it so much!! Barbara from Monroe Twp, NJ

This is a great bra. Good shape. I wish the lining were a little bit thicker, but it has been holding up remarkably well. I also have a problem with the itchiness of the band. The cups are very comfortable, but the small, coarse stitches along the bottom of the band irritate my skin. I have very sensitive skin, which is a challenge when it comes to bras! I also wish this bra came in larger sizes. Still, I like it a lot. N from Brookline, MA

I tried it on and it felt great, but then after wearing it again it seemed too big and the underwire digs into my chest leaving a red mark. Perhaps it would be more comfortable if I was to get a different size but this is not one I go to often. Since the cups seem a bit large for me, I don't get any minimization.

HerRoom Response: Your symptoms of red marks and the cups not minimizing sound like you are in a bra with too big a cups. Smaller cups have smaller underwires which should reduce the redness. Janet from

I really like the fit of this bra. In fact, I liked it so much that I ordered a total of 4 of them, but in every single one of them the wire pushed through the fabric out the top. There is no way that I can see to fix it.

HerRoom Response: It's interesting that this issue has arisen on all your bras. It makes me think you are drying your bras in the dryer. This causes the casing around the wires to shrink and thus your wires poke through. The other explanation might be that your band size is too large and the constant movement on your body is wearing down the casing. Sandy from St. Peters, Mo

Some have commented "everyday" bra...Not for me! This one is truly EVERY DAY, I can't imagine a bra that would more suit my needs and I look forward to purchasing more. For me, it's better than any Wacoal(of which I have several). I was led to try this by someone elses' comment, so hope this inspires someone to try Aviana. The price is justifiable if the bra "holds up", which my Wacoals have not done well. Margo from Wisconsin

FINALLY! This bra is incredible! At 55 years old and overly endowed I was actually considering a breast reduction. Had been through so many bras that neither fit right nor supported me and then voila! I happened on HerRoom, saw this bra and bought it. WOW! Lifted and minimized incredibly. The nice wide padded straps make wearing this bra a dream. My tops fit now and I look like I've lost many pounds. I even sleep in it. Makes me feel younger and beautiful again. Thanks HerRoom. You're the BEST!! Katherine from Allen Texas USA

One of my missions for years, has been to find the perfect minimizer bra. One that would compliment my 1X frame, be comfortable, actually minimize and at the same time give adequate support. This bra is the best I have ever found!!! Yeah!!! Thank you, Her Room, for your excellent service and e-mail support. I love it that your company is made up of women!! Marilyn from MT

This bra is well made and minimizes nicely. The straps are very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that it is cut very high under the arms and shows over the armholes of my sleeveless tops. It also chafes a bit under the arms because of the high cut. I wish it were just a bit lower under the arm.

HerRoom Response: This is sort of the challenge with minimizers. The cup and underwires must cover a large surface in order to minimize. Therefore, their wires tend to be taller than most. Also, if you are short in stature, this adds to the issue. Mary from Kansas City, MO. USA

This bra is very sturdy and comfortable. I love the seamless cups and the minimization is excellent. Just wish they would manufacture this one in sizes larger than 42G! Terry from Gainesville/FL/US

Nice rounded cups.......It really does minimize without looking flat and has good show through coverage under T-shirts. This bra is comfortable and is a great everyday bra. Vickie from Overland Park, KS

This bra is excellent! Great shaping, no flatening or pinching. Smooth and comfy. It's my favorite. It is a bit bouncy and it stretched a little, but I've never had a minimizer bra with such a great shape. Ramona from Citrus Heights, CA

I've purchased a number of minimizers, but this one offers super support and the cups/straps are very comfortable. It also does a great job of uplifting the breasts! Terry from Gainesville/Florida/USA

Baggy under the arm. I do have a small frame for my bra size.

HerRoom Response: A symptom such as this usually means you have too large a band size. Try going down a band size and up a cup size in order to maintain the same fit in your cup - 32DDD or 32F.

I've been searching for a bra for the past few years that was both comfortable & supportive. I have recently been considering breast reduction, but I think I've finally found the one! I just got this bra, and I already absolutely love it. It makes me look about 2 sizes smaller and fits like a dream. It has great support and looks great under my tight-fitting shirts. Finally, after many years of searching, I've found a comfortable & supportive bra all wrapped up in one!! Ginger from TN
