This item is the best, firmest control bodysuit I have ever owned. I am usually a 34DDD, so I got a 36DD and it fits perfectly for my needs. Holds me up nicely, great shape, & while I often get neck/shoulder pain with strapless, none with this.

Unfortunately the bodysuit is just awful. It can ONLY be used with the straps, otherwise it completely collapses in on itself with zero support. When used with the straps it stays up better but the straps are too wide-set to wear with anything!
HerRoom Response: This is a full coverage item so waist measurment assumes a proportioned size for the bra size. If you have a tummy, you probably should have moved from a 34D to a 36C to give your waist more room and thus prevent the collapsing your descirbe.

A little difficult to get into but nice fit once on. Sounded like it was ripping while I put it on...but, after getting it on it would have been too big had I went up a size. Overall exactly what I needed.

Finally! A bodysuit that works for me! I've been through dozens of them and none of them ever seem to work. It's especially hard for me because I have a short torso. This piece is wonderful!

This shapewear was very comfortable, considering it is shapewear. I had bought it to wear under my wedding dress. Though, the back wasn't low enough. If it would have worked I'd been happy with it.

This is my ultimate favorite control body wear. Slims & smooths everything. Also because it's a thong, it doesn't leave you with those annoying underwear lining on your butt. This is especially important when you're wearing a dress/skirt. The bra area also doesn't pinch or give you those double breaths problems. Smooth bra top & keeps you perky. Highly recommend for all women!

As a larger breasted lady, this did not work for me without the straps. As a lady with a super long torso, I can't really pull it up as far as I would like without some discomfort. The shaping was light, but did the trick. I just wish it were like two or three inches longer.
Annette Response: We are sorry that this shaper did not fit you well. The challenge we face with designing one piece garments is that not every woman is the same length from shoulder to waist. Although you are average in height, your long upper torso prevents you from feeling secure when wearing as a strapless garment. We hope that you can enjoy wearing this style with the straps in place.

Very well made item. However, it's too big for my body and the breast area is too small.

Good quality. I wanted a thong bodysuit with an underwire and convertible straps in beige, which is nearly impossible to find. It is a little heavy and firm. I would prefer a much lighter for daily use item, but as I said, the combination of preferences is impossible to find.

Perfect in every way. It was nearly impossible to find a firm-control thong-back shaper with built-in underwire support. I ordered this a few months ago to wear under a very fitted fit-and-flare dress as a bridesmaid. The dress was not forgiving whatsoever and this shaper was absolutely necessary. I couldn't have been happier. It doesn't turn a size 6 into a size 2, but it does help create a beautifully lump-free silhouette. Perfect for under any body con dress no matter how fit you are. I just ordered two more. I have never worn it strapless, so I can't speak to that aspect.

Fits well! Very flattering! The only downfall is that when it's strapless the back slides down & I've had to keep adjusting, wish it had some rubber grips around the back to keep it more in place. Otherwise, I have worn this with a strapless dress & my casual jeans outfit & made me look smooth & slimming!

Best body suit I found. Because of the thong cut, this was the only one that didn't leave VPL's under my form-fitting dress. It fit well in the waist - not too long like most I tried on. And, unlike some others, it was actually easy to get in and out of (without the help of a personal staff). But, I only gave it 4 stars because I wouldn't have felt "safe" wearing it without the bra straps - just didn't feel like it had enough support for larger breasts without straps.

I love this bodysuit! It has firm support that is very comfortable and provides a smooth line under clothes. I was looking for a thong body suit that contained a built in bra and this one is fantastic. I am 5'6" and wear a size eight. I wanted something I can wear everyday that would look seamless underclothes but still provide bust support. The bra lifts and provides great support.
I read one review that complained that this garment was hard to put on-I did not find that to be the case. It is very easy to put on and pull off. I love it!

Fits fine. (Husband loves it).
Love that I found a strapless and thong-ed style in one.
I really wish however this came in an A cup size.
I had to stuff so much in there to fill it up! :-/

this really smoothed the love handles out, the tummy not quite as much. I liked the fit, cup size was right on and altho' I hate thongs, this was OK. Made the 2 dresses I had bought look fabulous. Would be improved by having snap fasteners (like Panache)instead of hook & eye. OK to do up when you're getting dressed but not so easy when fully dressed.

MOST bodyshapers are WAY too long and made for tall people... I'm 5'4, 130 lbs, this thong fits great (and I don't even like thongs)

I am a very petite gal, 5' 4" - size 2/4. I ordered one size larger than my normal size, but even with a satin slip over my leg/hips in an attempt to make it easier to step into, I could barely pull it over my hips (which are only 35"). They need to go back to the original design. I owned three of this garment in it's former style, which had a strap in the back like a regular bra, and a sort of keyhole loop under the strap. That design help one put on the garment, which is very snug.
Annette Response: This was one of the first styles introduced to the US by Annette. It was well received; however, many small boutiques suggested to them that it was difficult to put on so they introduced style 10581 which was THE EXACT SAME SILHOUETTE except that it had a hook and eye closure in the back that enabled the garment to be wider at the top and was easier to get into. Unfortunately, decisions often come down to numbers and they did not do enough volume to keep this style in the line. Latin America continued to see exceptional sales on the original 10496 – that customer is used to a much tighter fit and was/is willing to struggle a bit to put the bodysuit on to achieve incredible results. There are many women in the US who are not willing to go through this challenge. Style #10496 was reintroduced by HerRoom to appeal to the needs of the Latin woman or her US counterpart who is looking for firm control. The easiest way to put this garment on is to fold over the top at the waist, step into it, and pull up.
