I love Anita sports bras. Anita offers a great fit for active full-busted women. This version is lined with French terrycloth. When I tried it on, the terrycloth bunched up in a somewhat unflattering way. This was fixed by rearranging myself. I have yet to wear this sports bra for a workout, so I can't comment how often wearers will have to rearrange themselves for a smooth appearance. Keep in mind that with summer approaching, the terrycloth lining will help absorb sweat. So I still think this sports bra is worth trying. D. from New York, NY, USA

The terry lining is very comfortable and this bra offers excellent support. NOTHING IS MOVING IN THIS BRA. I gave it four stars because the band is a little too snug until it has been worn a few times and it can be a little tricky at first to fit the girls exactly right into the cups. I had to return the original (34F) because the band and cup size was too small. Following the website instructions I ordered the next band size up and cup size down. It fits much better. It is not supportive enough during HIIT class though even though it says it is max.

Anita Response: Because this is a high impact sports bra it needs to fit snug in order to perform and support. Even though the 34 may have felt tight this may be your correct band size and you may need a G cup. Sherri from Usa

I really like this bra, it's construction, attention to detail, and was sooo excited to finally find a post-op bra that would comfortably fit. Unfortunately, even though I used the Bra Fitting Center, the band was too tight and the cups somewhat small. I do intend to reorder this bra - that's how much I felt it is truly a winner - but will go up one band size and one cup size.

Anita Response: This is actually a sport bra and not intended to be a post-op bra. Because this is a sport bra it is supposed to fit more snug than a regular bra for high impact activities. If you go up one cup size we suggest keeping your same cup. If you go up a band and up a cup your cups might be too big. Victoria from Durham/NC/USA

This bra was incredibly disappointing. The cup size was far too small (I was popping out on the sides and top), and I ordered based on the size chart/fitting guide. Given that I was popping out of it, I can't say if it would actually have been high-impact worthy or not, but my guess is no. The terry on the inside is a lovely touch though and made it very soft.

Anita Response: We suggest going up a cup size if you found this to be small. Nicole from Quebec

This is my 5th Anita 5527 bra. Having developed lymphadema after radiation for Breast Cancer, I was fitted with one of these bras. What a relief - after so many years of underwired torture chambers, my girls are now held in comfortly and firmly. (The bra also makes me feel very sporty, a great help in getting me up and out doing stuff.) Cannot recommend highly enough Jane from Israel

I've been buying another Anita style for years, but for my new workouts I found I needed more support. Unfortunately, this style suffers from the same issue I had with all their styles - the band is EXTREMELY tight. It was less of a big deal when I was buying the lower impact style, but now it looks like I'm wearing a small inner tube around my bust in any form-fitting shirt! I have been professionally fitted recently, and I am definitely buying the right size, but I fear that if I go up one band size it will become loose and floppy.

HerRoom Response: It's safe to go up a band a down a cup in almost every Anita Active bra. Trish from Fl, USA

This bra runs very small; I probably could have ordered at least two cup sizes bigger than I normally wear and maybe then it would have fit me.

Perfection. This is the third one I bought. The straps are super comfy with extra padding. Love it. M.B. from Boston

I think I had very high expectations for this bra based on it's recommendations and reviews. Personally, I find this bra kind of flimsy and not well structured. The support is mediocre for high impact exercise. Probably wouldn't buy again.

I have always lived this sports bra. Comfortable, breathable. And most importantly supports without underwire, even while jogging. It is a conventional style so you aren't trying to do yoga just to put it on. Cynthia from Santa Fe, NM,USA

Love! Love! Love! This has become my new bra for everything.Ordered the bra because I have psoriasis and my skin was often irritated and tender. This bra lays on my skin softly, and keeps me dry. The bra is a perfect fit-no overages and it keeps my chest snug, minimizing the appearance of my chest size. It also is great for exercising. Nothing moves! Eleanor from Washington,Dc

Very high quality comfortable bra. I am replacing one I have used weekly for over 8 years. One of the nicest sports bras I've ever found. Great price on Herroom. CD from SAnta Fe NM

Anita bras seem to fit me and hold me in place the best. I have never been able to deal with underwire bras, and I get great support and lift with these bras. Maureen from Monterey, California

I wanted something that would give me support and shape and be VERY comfortable. Purchased one at Title Nine and when I couldn't obtain the blue one they suggested your site! Yeah! Also, they knew the E was needed when I ordinarily wear a D cup. Elaine from Lansing, MI

This bra is super comfortable. I was looking for something a little less constricting than my usual heavy duty running bras for lighter activities like biking and rowing and this is perfect. I found the fit true to size. I normally wear a 30D in regular bras and the 30D in this bra is a great fit. Suzanne from Boston

Excellent fit and very comfortable! After trying other brands, this is by far the best best fit. I wear sports bras on a regular basis for the excellent support. I will absolutely purchase another Anita and not give a second thought about the cost. VC from California

I love this sport bra because I am older and my breast tissue is not firm any longer. I am a walker but do train with a trainer and need the support this bra provides. It is comfortable and keeps me in place. My workout tops fit better. Anna from Plover Wi

This is a perfect sports bra for the larger breast size women. The cost is on the high side, but the bra fits well, gives great support and is well made. Donna

The Anita sports bras provides excellent support for my workouts - and even in our 100+ degree weather helps to keep me dry. The bra doesn't stretch out even after frequent washing. This is my third Anita bra and each has provided excellent value. Judi from 92127

This bra was hard for me to get on and felt "industrial"....too constricting for my comfort.

HerRoom Response: Because this is a high impact wire free sports bra meant to support breasts above a D cup the band is engineered to be tight. We suggest going up a band and down a cup for a more comfort fit. Jessica from Blaine. WA USA

I like the style but the band size is too small. I normally wear 42 G but ordered 42 H because other reviews had said the cup seemed to run small.

Favorite, most comfortable bra. Back band stays where it should all day. Shoulder straps are very comfortable and positioned well on the shoulder. Own 3 and just ordered another. Wear them for my everyday bra. Size is just right. Irene from MA
