Why do manufacturer assume women with large band size have large breasts? Sadly the cup size appears to be more like a B than A cup. However, the bra is nicely made, but due to the size difference the bra was returned.

I have worn mastectomy bras for a very long time, and this is one of the most comfortable bras I have worn. I just ordered one to see how I would like it, as I was looking for comfort and something that is not binding. Well, this bra fits the bill for comfort. I will be ordering more of this style. Bra is very pretty but it rides up too high in the back even with the straps in the lowest position. Therefore, its not comfortable wearing all the time. I have another bra by the same brand that I purchased at the same time which I wished I had bought 2 of rather than this one.

Cup size is huge, should be A cup, feels more like C-D cup size, can't wear it, way too big.

Uncomfortable, too high on chest (shows under shirts), and rides up.

Amoena Response: The Isadora is designed to give full coverage and will fit higher on the chest. Regarding the band riding up, that often indicates that the band size is too large and you should try the next size down. If you are a 48A you should try a 46B. Very comfy. Cup size is accurate, at least for me. The band fits, but on the loosest hook, so there's no room to maneuver. I'm just really pleased that I found a comfortable bra in my silly size (or as HerRoom puts it in the bra survey, "unique." One other thing, even with the photos showing the bar under different necklines, the cups were unexpectedly high on top. Just be aware if you wear scoop necks. Debbie from New York

The cups were very small and my actual breasts did not fit inside the cups like I assume they were supposed to. It's most likely the shape of my breasts, which aren't as perky as they should be because of their size. I immediately returned. I'm very pleased with this bra and have already ordered more. It's very hard for us ladies who are large busted but petite everywhere else to find a bra in the right size that also does the job well. For me, the Isadora is it. The girls are gathered and moved forward instead of being spread half way under my arm pits. This bra was too small. The size from this manufacturer does not run true-to-size. Having said that, I have asked to have the item replaced for a larger size because I really liked the way the bra was made. Due to a rib injury, I had been on the search for a wire free bra. What I found was very inadequate. None I found in department stores offered any support so I started shopping on line. I chose this one to try because of other reviewers comments. I really like this bra! It is true to size in my case and has absolutely great support. I am neither tugging it or readjusting it during the day. I can move as much as I want without anything slipping or sagging. It is comfortable for an entire days wear without becoming irritating. It laundered very well on hand wash cycle and I always hang to dry. It is even pretty with the lace on the top of the cups! It does not appear or feel industrial. Though it is designed for breast form insertion, you certainly can use it if you don't need or require them and the cotton on the inside is a bonus. Only thing is I wish I could get this model in all cotton which would make it just about perfect. Bobbi from California
