What is the bra size 36F? What exactly is the bra size 36F? First, it's a combination of a band size and a cup size. The "36" refers to the band and the "F" refers to the cup size.Read more...
But, there is no 36F sizing in USA brands like Wacoal, Vanity Fair, or Calvin Klein. American brands call the size 36F a 36DDD. And, in UK brands like Panache and Fantasie, their 36F size is one cup size larger than in USA and European brands. If you want a European 36F bra size in UK brands, you need to select a 36E. Put another way, an F cup size can be the same size as the cup size E and cup size DDD. This can be very confusing for women when trying to find their 36F cup size in US and UK brands. But, problem solved! HerRoom has the solution with our exclusive Universal Cup sizing™ (UCS®). Cup sizes DDD, E and F combined are equal to a UCS® D3 cup size. So, all you need to do is search 36D3 at HerRoom and you'll find all the bras, swimwear, shapewear and more that come in your size. If you are a 36F size in UK brands, you would search 36D4.
Every bra size has a set of sister sizes. These are bra sizes where either the band, cup or both are just one size up or down from 36F. For examples a 36F bra size has sister sizes of 34G (D4) and 38DD. So, these three bra sizes – 34G (D4), 36F and 38DD all represent bras with the same cup size (when you go up a band size, you need to go down a cup size to maintain your cup volume) but different band sizes. A 34G (D4) has a smaller band than a 36F, and a 38DD has a larger band than a 36F bra size. IF a 36F and UK 36E and 36DDD US bra sizes fit you, this generally means your under bust measurement is 31 to 32 inches, and your over bust measurement is around 42 inches.
Bra size 36F is 85F in Europe and Japan, 90F in France, and 14DDD or F in Australia.
